I'm not amused. It's very lightweight to mine, compared with scrypt. 10ºC and 300W less.

It's over. Too bad.

95% of all your replies reinforce my position rock solid.. thanks for fighting my battle for me.

the vast majority of your comments here are such ridiculous nonsense (like Doge the coin)
that it would make me look bad if i addressed them.

Simply put most of you do not have the ability to read period .
You guys take up positions fighting what i said AFTER putting the words in mouth.

And the never ending attack on my credibility like i made a scam miner program is nonsense.. prove it by the way.. you can't.
Changing the subject and refusing to answer any question i pose and name calling sure shows me.. ya you got me ROFL

Your a bunch of little 12 year olds and i usually feel bad about picking on children but not when you attack me first
and run across the net screaming Doge.. STFU !

Your so called community as you guy calls it nothing more than pimple face brats flash mining a sad and pathetic unfunny clone coin.
When the money dries up when mining is no longer profitable all you little punks will scatter and as i have with numerous other coins
i will be around to remind you guys one by one what you said.. i have done it before and people sure don't like it ha ha
IFC TO THE DO MOON ring bell ?
Prob not because most of you just showed up here and think this is 4chan or something.
And i say your morons because you proved it !
For example i was told off when some brat on IRC said Litecoin is a scrypt rip off of just like Doge coin. Doge fans guess what ? Litecoin was the first to use Scrypt wow huh.
THAT is moronic crap you spout off and then think your smart and winning some kind of argument ?
Butthurt ? hmm watch Workaholics much kid ? try coming up with your own intelligent retorts kids and for the love of god stay in school please.

Your coin is dead and i will make sure of it and yeah i WOULD rather have brats playing violent video games that tarnishing the entire altcoin scene and Bitcoin
all the while undermining all the legitimate coin devs that have work so hard for soooo long to put a real viable alternative to Bitcoin on the table for 4chan brats to spit on.

Much 'tard.. VERY much ..

Mad ? You guys are the ones who are mad other wise you wouldn't be running here to mouth me off and insult me..
I have done nothing but try and discuss like an adult what i perceive to be a real threat to crypto and i know a ton of people agree with me 100%
after all i was discussing this stuff far before most of showed up.. problem is you guys try and gang up on people and attack them personally if they
criticize your current scam coin your flash mining and i will not be bullied and scared off as a matter of fact i will guarantee your Doge coin is doomed
Mark my words.. Screen cap this and book mark this topic Wink
And please stop coming here and getting mad and trolling on my topic and calling me a troll hypocrites..

I want new people to be aware this Doge coin is a scypt clone like 100's of others that offer nothing but a ponzi'esque style money making opportunity
AND in my opinion and damaging coin that undermines the only thing that gives it value.. BITCOIN
You make BTC look bad then your making the thing you use to cash out your Doge coins with.. get it ?
And spare me this, you use it as a currency crap ..none of you started using it for that.. you jumped on it to profit .

All you Doge cheerleaders that just showed up in the Altcoin scene *late are going to have to go back where you came from..
Your not taking over with your 4chan meme.jpg bully crap !

and that other Doge Fanboy please look up what "ad hominem" means..
Despite the aggressiveness and even if I don't agree with some of it myself, IMO you Doge followers should read this and understand the points he is trying to make. It's hard to read criticism, but do so. One is that by undermining BTC or having a Doge vs BTC stance, you are destroying your own value and taking millions of people around the world down with you, that aren't even part of the so called "Bitcoin community".

Edit: +1 to Joe_Bauers

If Bitcoin is killed by Doge then Bitcoin, doesn't deserve to live. The sad part of it all is that the market has no feelings, neither should you.
This is perhaps one of the most foolish things I've read in a while.

If I want to hold value on a decentralized crypto, why should I ditch a serious well supported BTC? What does Doge offer which is better than BTC? Where can I buy a videocard, a perfume or a toy for my kid with Doge?

Edit: I'm starting to believe the view than some alt-coin shills are more than self-interested, either with an agenda or dangerous idiots. So, your focus is not taking a stand against abusive credit card or payment processor fees, centralized control, IMF interventions, etc... but against BTC itself, the invention that gave us some glimpse of freedom in the first place?
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Max Keiser's coin (Maxcoin) on: February 12, 2014, 04:18:17 PM
@StewartJ

Just because you stumble a few times, doesn't mean you give up. Only losers do that and Max is no loser.

He will stand behind the coin and promote it, helping out with the development. He had ample opportunity to "distance" himself but he didn't do it and won't do it. So... Maxcoin is here to stay.
Yes, but you didn't address StewartJ's point. While Max Keiser is trying and failing, he's taking others down with him.

but on the other hand doges community on reddit also does a lot of charity
Tip:

Using a reddit post about someones' dying child as an opportunity to promote your coin is fucking sickening.  I saw this happening today.  It has nothing to do with charity, it's just blatant opportunism, and it's pathetic.  Put your morons on a leash.

1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 12, 2014, 09:02:46 AM
Ain't nobody got time for that!  Wink

Let's put some pressure on this then, shall we? I promise the following:
In exchange for a working, malware-free GPU riecoin miner which is significantly faster than CPU mining and works with Nvidia (integrated to the cudaminer would be optimal) I promise to donate to the creator:
-10% of what I mine in the first 24 hours
- 5% what I mine in the second day
- 2% what I mine on 3rd day
- 1% for days 4-31
Scrypt hashrate comparison 350 kh/s

Anyone else in? quote this with +1/ I'm in and I'll add you to the list. Post your scrypt hashrate for reference and I'll keep updating the total donation promise to this post. lets see how much we can get!

+1

Got a GTX 780 at home...716kg/s mining scrypt, 325 mining vertcoin, 203mh/s max, 5.33kh/s yac and 420kh/s UTC.
If anyone can do this, I'm sure it's cbuchner1.
Great! We need more people in, you guys realise how damn valuable this would be? It's definetly not gonna happen free anytime soon, releasing it to the public would mean that you give up of a huge benefit you have - It shouldn't be free.
I'm upping my own offer to 20% on the first day.

Great... what??

Did you bother to ask this fantastic software engineer, if he was available to become your low cost employee BEFORE you tried to aggregate people around your idea?

Furthermore, someone else already attempted to make a GPU miner for prime-number PoW and it wasn't faster than a good CPU.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 07:54:05 AM
I get the point that alts dillute BTC's stand against centralized currencies and payment processors. I also get the point that Doge enthusiasts are often uneducated (teenagers) going wild on the Internet.

However I rather see these teens use their videocards to mine Doge while they look at cute puppies, than to spend their time playing ultraviolent and gory videogames. Or to post their most intimate details on Facebook. And so do their parents.

There also have been "charitable" activities around Doge..

Perhaps it's bad for the crypto-currency scene, but it's good for "people".

facts are facts .
Who are those "blind delusional moron fanboys"?

1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 12, 2014, 06:23:35 AM
I found the secret to 100% yays on keccak with cudaminer 2014-02-09 ---> H 2,2,2. I am mining riecoin on all 8 threads of of my CPU, and maxcoin on all three GPUs at the same time (and same rpcport I might add). My fastest config is H 2,1,1, but that gets me 3% boos without CPU mining, and 8% boos with CPU mining.  I wonder if the additional boos are because I'm on the same port? Doesn't matter, I still eliminated all boos with H 2,2,2 with or without CPU mining.
That is unrelated with cudaminer per se. You should always leave at least one CPU thread free for GPU miner software, even more with cudaminer that allows for offloading to CPU. So mine riecoin with 7 threads. Running "cudaminer" in high priority also mitigates the problem.

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.com -u worker -p pass  -I 18 -w 256 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 24000 --gpu-fan 85 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1120 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20

330 kh/s on this conf

I think that it is not a problem of cgminer configuration, because I tried a lot of this and always hash rate is similar.

Problem is propably somewhere else, but the question is where?  Embarrassed
The problem is actually known: VRAM latency. There's a thread for 280x: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12369.0

Unfortunately 270's don't seem to be prioritary...

Instead, if this is becoming frustrating, I suggest you mine a non-scrypt coin like: http://max.1gh.com/

Is there a XPT port for maxpool?
Not at the moment, but it is feasible to add it. Are there any XPT miners for max?
Yes, arOpenCLMax. I'm actually trying it since cgminer crashes on a Frankenstein rig I have.  Tongue

Allright, will be adding it in couple days. Though, did you try running cgminer just on AMD and cudaminer on Nvidias if you have a mix?
Yes I did. Cudaminer picks the GTX760 well, cgminer (or even sgminer) crash perhaps due to lack of system ram: just 1 GB. I need to find more DDR2.

if it's too much trouble, don't bother or provide your own MAX address so I can point some hash there

Edit: nevermind, it's working now

Portugal with an hangover of having and losing an "empire", and now being a small vassal of vassals, doesn't take decisive and unilateral action on international matters for decades. Since there's no agreement, Bitcoin is for now free and unregulated.

I will declare and pay taxes on BTC after converted to Euros, until then I'm free to do whatever I want. otoh, acceptance of BTC on businesses is very low (I'm even including usage of Bitpay), despite the Lamassu BTC kiosk being made here.
