1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Spectre.ai information - Trading platform now LIVE! on: April 26, 2019, 07:35:21 PM

I think devs does not matter their cryptocurrency, they already have self exchange. Just used ICO as a financing option.

Which self-exchange? They are only listed on Etherdelta, DDex at the moment and don't have a good exchange.

As per their recent medium article they are paying SXDT holders a dividend. Is it for ICO investors only or for all holders?

It is for all SXDT holders. But you must hold tokens on metamask, Ledger nano or Trezor wallet. Although I have a problem with withdrawal from my Trezor. I'm not sure how much it is worth keeping this tokens.

I hold them in my ERC20 compatible wallet. I did not see them mention only these wallets. Can you link me the announcement where it's mentioned?

Spectre tokens are the tokens whose value has been mostly stable so it's definitely worth holding if they pay a dividend.
1442  Local / India / Re: Indian Govt Planning Ban on Crypto on: April 26, 2019, 04:11:56 PM
No clue on what's going to happen but looks like with the current Government, cryptos would be possible banned or may be restricted till the case is still pending in the court. They kept delaying in regulating the currency because they did not want to regulate it. Postponing the case was just an excuse.
I think ban in inevitable. Now the questio is how will we liquidate our crypto assets.Should we abondon them?Disclosing it may lead to us in jail  Grin

Let them be banned first. Many countries have banned cryptos and then lifted the ban like Russia.
1443  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Indian regulators have procrastination? The cryptocurrency ban has not lifted on: April 26, 2019, 04:09:18 PM
Indian Government doesn't want to regulate bitcoins and the bank ban was the starting. In the budget, people were expecting some positive news about cryptos but nothing was said and now there is some draft that proposes to impose a full ban on cryptos so may be it's the end of the road now.
1444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins stolen from bitfinex in 2016 move to new wallets on: April 26, 2019, 12:49:15 PM
That's because these exchanges do nothing to help the users recover the money once they get hacked and hence we should abandon these exchanges that don't believe in reimbursing the money. They need to be as secure as banks and infact even more as they get the license to operate and are legal entities and also earn too much from listing coins and from fees. There is no reason why they can't be secure. Just checking the net worth of Binance and it is $1.4 Billion and that of HDFC is $2.4 billion. These exchanges don't even pay interest to customers and hence what's their excuse?

Bitfinex is now being considered a fraudulent exchange and is under investigation. Serves them right.

Forkdelta is the best option at the moment. We are going live on another exchange very soon.

It is extremely difficult to get a listing at a top 5 exchange unless you can either: pay a large listing fee or guarantee very high daily trading volumes.
The vast majority of projects cannot do either. Those that can pay for a listing, don't always get the volume they need and are then delisted.

Our team has spoken about this in articles and at conferences. The big exchanges are not really interested in listing smaller projects, so we need to continue to grow and develop our product before we are likely to get the volumes needed for major exchanges. We ay task. re not willing to pay a large listing fee nor can we guarantee very high volume and so we must continue to work on our products.

We are able to go onto newer or smaller exchanges and as mentioned, we are very close to announcing RCC on a new exchange. We'll continue to grow and expand our tokenised weapons onto other NFT exchanges too, but getting RCC on huobi, binance or other large exchanges is not an easy task.

Hope to see this happening soon. I wanted to trade some of my tokens on Idex but the token got delisted and there is no good market for RCC. Smaller exchanges also would be fine like I heard huobi, hotbit are not taking any listing fee.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DIMCOIN- HYBRID STOCK EXCHANGE ON THE BLOCKCHAIN on: April 26, 2019, 11:12:49 AM
I sent 200 DIMTOKEN to DIMX.IO to sell. Wanted to test the service. Good that I did not send anymore.
My DIMTOKEN are all gone. No support. No answer. Nothing. This DIMX.IO site is probably scam.
So be careful.

You can contact them at Support@dimx.io and even the team is active on telegram: https://t.me/dimecosystem

Many people are facing the same issue and admins are currently on holidays so may be you may get a late response.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: April 26, 2019, 11:06:12 AM
Ahh I can remember Oyster Pearl. I guess such an opportunity hardly will come back (if ever). But I still think it can make sense to hold bounty tokens of promising projects until the next bull market comes in full swing.

The token was worth less than $0.01 and then jumped to over $1 in no time so I don't think we'll get to see such a big pump in any of the recent altcoins bearing in mind the market has terribly suffered due to several incidents. Now, I'm just holding my coins coins and earning dividends from projects like Pundi and MTC that give $100 per month. Besides these, am just selling the other coins.

Since they have disabled their main Jinbi telegram channel, there is no way to even get a response soon or any updates about the distribution. They aren't even replying their emails so what do they plan by making participants wait till May 5th?
1450  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 26, 2019, 10:54:33 AM
are they going to enable deposits and withdrawals for other altcoins anytime soon?
enabling only for BTC, LTC and DOGE would just make people convert all altcoins to those three
or is this just their strategy to jump start trading and avoid massive outflows of all altcoins?

They have worked on almost 50% coins so I assume that they would take about 2 months more to enable all other altcoins. They have to also payback customers who lost their ETH and other coins.
1451  Economy / Speculation / Re: "RIP bear market" on: April 26, 2019, 08:09:46 AM
The bear market trend still continues and I don't see any positive trends in the price. BTC drops by 2% almost everyday and ETH price along with it keeps showing a similar fall. As a trader, I don't feel like buying any coins right now and even on exchanges, there are more sell orders than buy ones.
I did not know how you arrived at you analysis on the current market conditions but it is open for all to see that since the beginning of this month bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies has been in the upward trend!  Both the technical and fundamentals indicators are pointing towards bull trend and are you saying, that the grow that started in December 2018 from $3150 to now $5269 is not and end to a particular patterns?  However,  this is just a personal views and maybe you will educate us more on how you think bitcoin and ethereum keep losing 2% daily sir.  Thank.

My views are based on this chart: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#charts

As I can see, the price in Nov 2018 was $6k and now it's $5k and it has been stable rather than being a bullish trend. The same trend was seen in 2014-2016 where we could see BTC rise from $200 to $300. From Dec 2017, the market has only gone down and even if we see a slight rise, it goes back to where it started from. Few days back people expected it to reach $6k but I don't see it happening anytime soon. I wouldn't buy or sell bitcoins when this market is not stable. Prefer holding for now.
1452  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust system abuse, i bought this account because the rules allow it. on: April 26, 2019, 08:03:22 AM
Forum rules and trust system are two different things and this is proved by the fact that accounts which are bought and sold haven't been banned. DT trust is a totally different thing and they don't want users to sell their reputation for few bucks as this encourages scamming. Selling your account is as good as selling your ID proof and letting it be used for illegal purposes.
1453  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you die; what will happen to your accounts on: April 26, 2019, 07:26:05 AM
I have stored the information of all my account in a hard drive so that my family could access my accounts and use the money. It has happened with the forum when a member who held currency on behalf of the forum died and the forum lost a lot of BTC.
1454  Economy / Economics / Re: Forms of converting cryptocurrencies into cash on: April 26, 2019, 07:22:16 AM
This is a list of trusted exchanges of which we can see sites like Luno, hotbit where you can sell cryptos for cash. Coinbase is the best in USA but if you want totry other ways of exchanging cryptos to cash, you can buy gift cards, load your virtual visa card or buy the bitcoin debit card but in this process you may lose more than 10% as fee. I found it better to load any forex account with cryptos and then withdraw the money to your PayPal or US bank account by paying minimal fee.
1455  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: First enforcement action against a peer-to-peer virtual currency exchanger on: April 26, 2019, 07:11:52 AM
In India, this would definitely be considered a crime as the exchanger hasn't asked for any ID documents while exchanging such big amounts and plus there is a ban on liquidating crypto currencies. So many users have been jailed for such suspicious transactions but they still don't stop.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest Crime in cryptocurrency on: April 26, 2019, 06:42:23 AM
We've heard exchange getting hacked and millions of dollar worth crypto being stolen.
Last year, Myetherwallet was exposed and hacker penetrated and stole alot.
Scam ICO made away with millions in recent years.
Crypto traders and investors are taking precautions so as to not fall victim. This doesn't guarantee Scam free Crypto space coz right now someone is being scam.

What could be the biggest Crime in cryptocurrency

I have never heard anything happen to myetherwallet and it was Etherdelta that was hacked. Also, phishing emails were sent to almost all bitcointalk users as the email database was leaked during a hack earlier. Hence, most users were affected but those that did not click on suspicious links had their wallets safe.

Edit: Checked it now and there was a hack in the extension of MEW. Glad I did not access MEW during the hack.

Does everyone require KYC now? I did not get any KYC requirement alert when I logged in my account.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: April 24, 2019, 05:08:05 PM
Kings XI are off to a brilliant start but I feel they should slow down and not lose wickets before 100 runs. Rahul keeps running for a single even when there's no chance. Getting run out is the worse mistake and he needs to be there atleast for 4 more overs.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: April 24, 2019, 03:19:22 PM
Doesn't look like the score would reach 200. Patel should have stayed till he gets his 50 but alas. With Dale gone, hoping Kings could win the match. RCB are just losing wickets back to back and so I would guess 150-160 all out which would be easy to chase down.
