1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: July 28, 2020, 05:12:37 PM
In India, there are a lot of legal payment methods available, which doesn't need any physical contact. I am talking about the mobile banking services offered by almost all the public/private sector banks in India and about the mobile wallets such as PayTM and Amazon Pay. Now what makes you think that the Indian government would prefer Bitcoin, which is yet to be fully legalized in India ahead of the other legal options?

That Bunga_cute is on cocaine I guess  Grin
Literally, we've got hell lots of local apps available which help us transact our money with a variety of merchants without the need to even take out our cards (due to having the details auto-saved). Not to forget that the transaction fees for BTC have skyrocketed so badly that even if we try our sheer luck in making our Government accept BTC, they'll just say no to it after seeing these fees as you know our conservative nature.

@bunga_cute,
Don't tell me crypto would save us because we can send BTC through our phone because still, if some merchant asks me to give him my phone to let him scan a QR code and he's having Corona and his hands have some micro-particles and they get stuck on my phone? Can crypto remove those micro-particles? Stop being too much speculative as well as superstitious.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This could be a big WIN for an entire crpyto community on: July 28, 2020, 04:56:18 PM
That will surely happened in the future once legalisation was approved. Maybe we will do KYC on our Bitcoin Address which many people scared to happened due to tax issue. We cannot attain mass adoption unless bitcoin will be approved as legal money or else it will be considered as virtual money made from thin air. There is a chance that many big time institutional investors will finally enter legally in crypto market.

First things first, Bitcoin will never be accepted as legal tender nor money but a form of money or an asset because of its volatile nature. Next, you said you'll do KYC on your BTC address? I believe we're already giving pretty much the information needed to trace us just by signing a message from an address to prove that it's ours. Don't you think that it's a proof somehow that's kept somewhere by us only and can help those big guys easily trace us?
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This could be a big WIN for an entire crpyto community on: July 28, 2020, 04:43:53 PM
I've never wanted any regulations whatsoever due to the facts that legalization will only lead us to requirements like making our transactions completely transparent and available to the higher authorities for tax purposes bs. But this is not what Bitcoin was made for. Anyways, it's an old debate these days and now I believe that involvement of global governments is equally needed here in order to let it survive because this is what we all want.
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominance falling, time to bag in some alts? altcoin party? on: July 28, 2020, 04:17:48 PM
Bitcoin dominance rose again to 63%, and seen the impact of altcoin prices fell very sharply, but the price of Bitcoin rose,
it is unfortunate altcoin experienced a negative impact, how about the next week? is this the right time to buy altcoin?

Don't just fall for BTC yet because many DeFi tokens are not yet listed on CMC. Next, the tokens are not limited to what the number used to be before, so it's for sure that the BTC dominance can drastically fall. But yeah, I've learnt that now, this dominance literally won't mean anything as the marketcap of the whole altcoins' group against BTC will definitely grow with the fact that many tokens have opted and will opt for smart contract providers like Eth, Eos, Waves and whatnot.

I would rather feel happy if someone from this community have it instead of me and my friend in real life who has nothing to do with bitcoin and bitcointalk. I think I will make a topic about it soon assuming Steve has no issue with it.

Congrats on your win, I've always wanted and even tried to win this but bad luck. Waiting on your thread just to give it a try, I'll definitely give my details if it's Steve who will be handling all this and sending to me directly if I win the raffle or whatever you come up with. Wink
1326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to out of this insecurity? on: July 28, 2020, 01:44:22 PM
--snip--

When it comes to security then it all matters on us in the first place. You should know on how to secure things up even into those lapses.

You are right that security totally depends on our own decisions. Why do scams occur? They mostly occur due to our own mistakes or due to we being unknown about the type of scam being carried on us. Anyways, I believe that when it comes to exchanges, we should set up every single thing before using them (which is where we played out our end to be safe). But whenever a hack happens is when our bad luck strikes in and if we've got anything on our account, we'll need to be lucky enough to have our exchange either insured by some big entities or the exchange itself offers some or full compensation back of the amount we lose.
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: July 27, 2020, 08:49:52 PM
It's time to buy the Indian WRX cryptocurrency!
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/wazirx

Correct, but I believe that we should let the dust settle by first having our BTC stabilized.

Coming back to the topic, @OP, I do understand the fact that Indians are the most important prospects when it comes to any business as we are the 2nd largest in terms of population and have the best business skills. The next thing, India has a big market available for crypto if they legalize it. But the fact is, you might have seen and heard about a lot of scams taking place to and fro in the world, and so was the case in India. I believe that not just our Indian govt but all govs have got a valid argument on the security of exchanges as well as cryptocurrencies itself and so, they just don't want to take the challenge of dealing with all the mess that might take place if they allow crypto.
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin can exceed 10 thousand dollars at the present on: July 27, 2020, 04:41:05 AM
Don't fall for the big bull trap because it'll eat you up hard. Don't leverage any positions as of now as I believe that this should show some declines further and needs to be corrected down under 9.5k USD. Again, don't believe me? Get the rekt off. I don't give suggestions to trade these days, I'd rather stop you from getting in when I know something that's most important for you all to know. Don't take this advice with a grain of salt, and don't leverage (neither the short one, because the shakeout will be so hard it might show two-sided wicks to make both ends liquidate and trust me, it won't be easier for you to get out with your position).
1329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to out of this insecurity? on: July 26, 2020, 05:59:52 PM
There's no such thing we can call as perfect when it comes to security because just one mistake is enough to ruin everything. I've seen many hacks in the past where there was no lapse by the exchange's end but they still got hacked maybe due to some insider person's involvement. The worst part is, we don't know the intentions of people as well as even exchanges and whether they could be trusted forever or could turn dark any time. It's better to use all the security measures provided by your exchange if you want to minimize the risks of getting your account compromised. Else, the only option is to keep your money (coins or tokens) with you until you want to trade it.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I see a new opportunity in DLT. on: July 26, 2020, 10:32:22 AM
I'd urge everyone to hold if you've already bought in or are yet to buy in. For those who've bought it at my expected buy price, please hold it and don't worry. For those willing to buy this, please don't do it yet and wait for a much better buy price that will surely come in the way of a downside wick probably because BTC has started going up, so we'll need to hold on alts and see what will it do (but I'm sure it won't remain above $10k for long time).
1331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin can exceed 10 thousand dollars at the present on: July 26, 2020, 10:23:11 AM
For all of you who ignored my warning, congratulations on being eaten out by the brokers. Another thing, I never, ever meant to trade this (I mean, I didn't give any financial advice and just wanted to warn you to remain out of any trades because this move was meant to liquidate many of those who didn't know the correct direction and this warning was biased as you can check that I didn't literally give a fixed direction). And yeah, you were asking for a proof, just go and watch the charts baby. Wink
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin dominance falling, time to bag in some alts? altcoin party? on: July 21, 2020, 07:29:17 PM
There was an upward channel pattern which was being followed by the BTC dominance since past 2 years and it recently broke down below 65% and is currently down under EMA 100. Seeing the charts very carefully, I believe that some alts are definitely going to rally super hard and BTC dominance will fall down more in order to let the party continue.
1333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 21, 2020, 07:04:48 PM
The problem here is, you don't get the basic algorithm here. Those who expect returns are investors, but the ones who expect quick returns are traders. Traders are the ones who want to get rich quick with BTC, investors hodl their investment for a long time and when they're in for a long time, how can you compare them to traders? Another thing, there are many enthusiasts who love to learn the technology behind and even try to give their contribution towards making Bitcoin more stronger as well as secure, but answer me just one thing, if you've done LLB and I'm an MBBS degree holder, who'll be called a lawyer here? So, it's truly impossible for a few to enter the whole technical aspects of BTC which is why speculation is there to let them stick to it that way.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / I see a new opportunity in DLT. on: July 21, 2020, 04:36:51 PM
There has lately been an alts' run that took place and we're all getting happy again, but do you know which one can actually make you some money? Instead of getting in any trade, it's better to study the whole market and then decide which ones have the potential to bitch out themselves hard and make you a grand winner in the end.

Check below a thread of mine, an opportunity that I served here:
Watch out for QLC.

If you believe in me, get in to gain a new result from a trade which will cost some nominal wait and has the potential to give you an awesome return once again. DLT just broke out of an important level and I see extreme possibility for this token to get above 1800 sats, though this should get down to at least ~550 sats in order to complete the retracement procedure.
1335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin can exceed 10 thousand dollars at the present on: July 21, 2020, 02:50:36 PM
Guys, be ready for an upcoming move in the next 3 days max. It could be anything but I believe that most probably we'll be witnessing a $1-1.5k movement and it'll be so quick that either side the way it goes, the opposites will lose a lot of money just as many were getting rekt due to these trades. It's just that I came to know about something sort of an insider thing, let's see if it proves to be true. I believe we'll be see a bullish breakout, but whichever way it goes, it'll just rekt a lot of traders.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Watch out for QLC. on: July 20, 2020, 05:08:51 PM
So, it's been 20 days since I declared this trade and voila, we've already achieved our 1st target. Congratulations on winning this trade and I believe this coin has the potential to get nearer to 630 (our T2) but will probably take some time (or at least some dump in price may occur). Don't get in now and wait for some correction (at least 10%) and then only buy if you're not in the trade before.
1337  Other / Meta / Re: Just a question - can I use double signature? on: July 15, 2020, 11:00:30 AM
As far as I know, your subscription company pays very well. We all understand that now the extra money will not hurt anyone, on the other hand, you must respect the requirements of the company paying you.

For you and others who didn't read the edit that I've made to OP before you even posted, please read it first before pointing fingers on my intention to do this. I've clearly stated that money is not my motive but the fact I asked this is because I needed to know if I could do this? The sole reason is that, if I like some service or have something of my own that I'd like to advertise, can I do it that way? This is why I asked it. So, before even talking about my intentions to be money-minded, have some patience and don't just run behind my a$$, just take a look at the OP and not just the subject alone. Anyways, I'm locking this thread as I've understood that it's not a good gesture of doing such an annoying thing. Wink
1338  Other / Meta / Just a question - can I use double signature? on: July 14, 2020, 11:33:20 PM
Edit: Okay, I've understood that this doesn't sound good, looks messy and people believe that I've become a greedy crab who is being offered a million dollars to display another signature in his comment box hehe. Jokes apart, but it was solely because if I'd like to advertise something else with the current signature, I thought I should ask whether I can do it in the form of a signature but through my comment box. Anyways, thanks for all your replies. Appreciate them. Smiley
1339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: July 14, 2020, 11:26:51 PM
Even though KYC really dangerous for the users but since our love to cryptocurrency is strong then we have to do it without questioning the KYC system.

We have to do what? KYC?
You just gave a great example first and now you're only saying this? I mean, just think of a project you're heavily invested in, and you decide to go for a KYC check that's levied by them by saying that you won't be eligible to get your coins for which you have paid, unless you go for KYC and give them your personal details.

There will be 2 scenarios:

-   What if you give a fake ID? How will they determine whether it's you only or you have used someone else's docs in order to gain your coins? This would be cheating for your own financial benefits, though it's true that you've purchased the coins yourself but then giving a fake ID is also cheating.

-   What if the company you've invested in, runs away with both your documents and the money you invested? Don't you think they may use your docs anywhere including dark places so whatever they'll do, you'll be penalized for the same? What will happen if that company turns out to be a drug dealer and gives their clients' (investors') KYC docs to other parties as well as police in order to remain safe from them?
1340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we need to know about Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2020, 11:05:50 PM
It's true that digitization of everything is taking place but it's also true that Governments want to keep their eye as well as control on your finances and so, they are coming up with new tricks as well as national digital currencies in order to keep up with what their citizens are demanding from them. That's also the case with BTC, they can easily give green signal to BTC but they're currently testing everything while also preparing their own digital currency for their people. I believe that the revolution will take place but in a different way and not how Satoshi wanted, as everything is going central now.
