Isn't it time we stopped vaccinating people and creating new variants. We could go back to the old treatment which has worked well for 90 years - it's called natural immunity. You can't treat viruses by vaccination in the middle of a pandemic. if ergo ASIC that will be developed is not go very far in efficiency/hashrate vs gpus, it might work well for gpu miners mid to long term.
ASIC should not go beyond x4-x5 efficiency hashrate vs gpus, then it is good. at least like ETH, those who aren't using HBM and gddr6x are still in the ~2017 era in terms of tech vs new ASICs.

The most important thing in GPU mining is cleaning the boards, weekly inspection and then tear down and full clean and reapply thermal-grease; When u see the dust bunny's; U will know when to clean besides inspection daily monitoring of gpu temp, if u see a few boards ( usually inner on rig ) climb 1-2C that means the airflow is blocked, clean immediately.
My mining farms, which are in the garage, I dust off once a year. This is usually before the summer and I change the thermal paste. There is not much dust and dirt even in the garage. I sometimes sleep in the office next to my farms, and I do not feel discomfort from the noise, and the temperature is lowered by the air conditioner. mine is once a year too, maybe up to 2 times a year and i also make sure new thermal grease is applied before summer. he is too industrious or his environment temps are high so he guards it like a hawk. |

The Pfizer Biontech vaccine had the highest immunity with 95%, but after tests in Israel where a large part of the population was vaccinated with Pfizer, the immunity dropped down to 65%. This is very scary, because we had so many variants already. With the next mutation the immunity could drop down to 30%.
That's why the other country they declared travelled banned in international Airport. Cause they believe that's the only way to prevent and avoid the virus enter the Community. Hoping that they will obey the rules so that's it can ease this kind of variant. We all need to be safe and learn to obey the precautionary measurements. But what I am getting pissed right now is the people taking the first dose and disregarding the second dose. Like incompleting the vaccine for such reasons as they believe in shits. so keeping it below 95c seems to be the logical thing to do. a situational heat spike can push it to well above 100c, so know your environment very well.
Bravo very good answer. 95 must be your max reading. it is better keep it less 90. If you want use it longer you must keep temps down. it will work at 100 or 110C also but how long? Im sure not very long time. let us say you are using it at 105c, you maxed out the operating temp and one hot day you go into your bed room and cool off with your AC, then you fell asleep the sun got a bit hotter for just 1 hour pushing your 105c to stress levels if a bit lucky... if not, it breaks. shit happens. |
