When a file is modified 3 months before it was created it usually means that the computer clock has been manipulated. So it proves shit.

It is a bit like saying you were born after your first birthday.

I have files on my computer that were apparently modified before they were created. Defies logic, but that's how it is. Probably a Windows thing.

I suspect that modification time refers to when it was literally modified [on another file system or device], and creation time may refer to the local copy being created.

I agree that there are other possible explanations. But usually it means that the clock has been altered or it has been moved from one media to another.
It can also be modified with the use of a simple tool.

GUIminer is still available for download. My version is from 2012. Downloaded today.

--snip--

scrolled down a bit..these saved configs are not available for download  Wink

Let me help you with this pic.

When a file is modified 3 months before it was created it usually means that the computer clock has been manipulated. So it proves shit.

It is a bit like saying you were born after your first birthday.

well.. i dunno man, i don't pay to much attention to those details, maybe some smart detectives can explain here why did that happen hehe, guiminer mines scrypt coins, it proves that i'm into crypto in 2013 and mooncoin was launched new year 2014.

regarding computer clock, it was a screenshot of one of my old miner rig, BIOS battery fuck ups, pc config etc, i don't pay attention to it as long as it mines coins i'm fine...still it is 2013

i just think it might help you since accusing me that i bought this 2013 account....if only i could login to my cryptsy account i'll show you some screens too LOL

but hey, found someone who vouch for me in this thread even though he didn't intend to  Grin

Btw hello arielbit,I remember you trollin fud from dash thread since 2015 cause the name from your shitcoin dashcoin hehe !  Grin

dashcoin ann: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=678232.0

OP date July 05, 2014, 11:31:39 AM (I early mined this shit BTW)

so 2015 is cleared, now 2014 too.........who from 2014 buys a late 2013 (December) account? LOL

Wow you guys write a lot of shit proving to the world you got way too much time to prove a lot of shit that nobody gives a flying shit about. Get a fucking life.

we don't have a fucking life that's why we got rich in crypto you dumb ass  Grin

derive some logic and deduction from this pic  Wink

Yeah interesting. Modified months before it was created.

I think he is sitting at home bored (it is 4 am in NZ) watching people attack his friends and family.

That ain't hard to figure out since he uses his real name.

.

now for people who is looking for Ben, you might want to ask xtraelv  Wink

let me help you with that pic buddy, it seems you are having a hard time  Wink that miner proves i was a miner back in 2013 until now, it was a scrypt miner, means i mined mooncoin and other scrypt algo coins.

that's how a shitcoiner works you get coins-shit coins and you strike gold if you are lucky and dedicated enough, for example LTC and ETH

coins in coinmarketcap back then are no more than my fingers you are a fool if you don't take a look at each new coin, or...you have a fucking life  Roll Eyes LOL
1124  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: July 12, 2019, 06:14:39 AM

xtraelv knows Ben  Roll Eyes

I know who Ben is. I have spoken to him online and the context of that conversation was as a response to people who claimed he was not from Cryptopia.

I confirmed that he was a staff member for Cryptopia.

<snip>
I wouldn't go putting much weight into anonymous online mods...
<snip>

I have never met Ben in person.

The absence of anyone on bitcointalk who worked for Cryptopia makes you want to target anyone who has spoken to anyone from Cryptopia ?

The reason I used disclaimers when I posted in this thread is because someone from Cryptopia complained that I was posting stuff on the Cryptopia thread and it might be perceived that I had authority to speak on their behalf. Which I did not have.

I have yet to see an exchange thread with happy customers or where actual exchange staff continue posting on the thread. It usually turns toxic quite quickly and anyone who works there disappear.  As a result there are no more announcements or important information posted on bitcointalk and those threads lose their relevance. If you keep on attacking people who help others then you will just end up talking to yourself.

I have never referred any customers to Cryptopia. My referral link has never been used or advertised. Can you say the same ?

I'm sure if I look I can associate your name with numerous failed crypto projects that you probably shilled.

Or was that posted by the person you bought your account from ?

bought account? haha..it was fun in the beginning, we shilled altcoins mine, buy and sell...people even laugh at 40 BTC lost at scam IPO...now it is different, funny that of all, you picked a 2014 post.. i still have my 280x's here, want me to slap that old GPU on your face?...keep digging buddy, only mods delete my post here  Grin

a lot of newbs back then started with altcoins, BTC was in transition to ASIC mining.

derive some logic and deduction from this pic  Wink

now tell us how did you know his...

Motherfucking police say motherfucking exchange can reopen ... WRU motherfucking Ben?

I think Ben finally quit lol

xtraelv knows Ben  Roll Eyes

short story:

I do think its hilarious that Xtraelv wrote out a big, detailed post... yet you still post this drivel... You surely have to be trolling at this point

I would also suggest you look into online slander and defamation claims, you aren't anonymous here.

moments later..

--snip--

There is no point for me to communicate with people that are not prepared to act in a civil manner. Abusive members will just be ignored and serous abuse will be reported.

I've got no interest in communicating with the roaches in this thread. This is purely for people that can communicate with some decency.

will be reported?? hehe

Once Cryptopia does announce their plans to move forward, what ever they may be. I look forward to how many of you will come and say you were wrong, unlikely that any will have the guts to do so. But don't worry, everything is being archived and will be posted in detail showing all the FUDers to be what they really are. I'll post a link to that thread in here too.

side notes:

---snip---

This is exactly the  reason why Cryptopia doesn't have any staff responding on Bitcointalk.

If Ben had asked me I would have discouraged him from posting here. People only hurl abuse. It is not a place for rational discussion.

BenTheAnonMod is the paid PR
His mission is insulting our intelligence claiming they (still) don't know what happened. 6 weeks after it happened.
There are no facts or proof that your coins other than you entrusted them to Craptopia and POOF they are no longer yours.

I think he is sitting at home bored (it is 4 am in NZ) watching people attack his friends and family.

If people would say such things about people you care about. Would you say nothing ?
1126  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: July 11, 2019, 09:23:32 AM
Remember when xtraelv and Lafu says they both "lost money in cryptopia"? and we shouldn't  doubt their innocence..

reminds me about  my friend in high school who sprinkled ink using sign pen to my classmates polo uniforms by swinging it fast with a bit of good acting it was almost unnoticeable.

when one of the professor and classmates started to look for the mischievous one, my friend joined the "pitchfork people" ---> "hey I got ink in my polo too"....he got away with it in the end.

told him he was lucky nobody noticed that the ink in his polo is different because it was in front(not all swings are perfect so he had some too), not in the back of the polo uniforms just like everyone hehe

open air for me too.

GPUs are zip tied to racks.

the room is the case and the windows are the exhaust.

Started my GPU farms like the above in 2016 and never looked back - ease of maintenance is the key.

Dust is the only pitfall though - I gave up on this long time ago and most of my 470/480 rigs still running at peak non-stop eventhough they are bloody dusty and grimy.

Well ..... as long as critical parts still works fine like fans for PSU, GPU and CPU - will just leave them alone. All of them are well ROIed several times over, so just leave them alone.

ease of maintenance you say?

how about real time (powered on and mining) pulling off slow spin/not spinning GPU fans and re oiling-plugging back in fans? hehe

no need to keep the area squeaky clean, for me i'm just making sure dust build up does not come close to possible "harmful" level to electronics----> i just come inside the room semi naked with face mask and a blower.. blowing the dust that accumulated in the electronics  (all powered on and mining) Grin

Hayop talaga yan coins pro na yan after mag down from june 21 to  june 26 at finally nag up na today nag try ako mag transfer cash out  ng BTC ko from coins pro to my coins.ph wallet kahit anong amount maliit or malaking amount ayaw magpa transfer!!!!!

Gentle reminder to complete your enhanced verification form: bit.ly/2Rj3MVz. Open your Coins account for more details.

1132  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 23, 2019, 08:26:30 PM

Any users would think same like that considering lalo na pag tumataas yung value ng BTC nag kakaaberya yung site, its possible reasons na hindi sufficient ang resources ng server on that particular numbers ng users, given na madaming users ang nagiging active and there's still a room for improvement for such happening.

Also, AFAIK, nagiging active ang trading sa coinspro depends sa buy and sell activity ng traders, which means walang amount na mawawala sa coins once may nag buy or sell, since users lang yung mag b'buy and sell nong order sa platform. Each activity on the platform gives profit to them from trading fees.

Pero if ever nga yung sabi is the case here, then using alternatives will be their choice.

1133  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 23, 2019, 01:27:31 PM
On what grounds exactly?

We cannot complain them as they don't violate the law.

AFAIK, they are not fully live, they are just running in a beta mode and I guess their beta is not successful, that's why it resulted to the current situation.

https://techcrunch.com/2019/01/18/gojek-coins-ph-philippines/

1134  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 23, 2019, 12:59:49 PM
Lagi nilang ginagawa yan Under Maintenance tuwing may bull run sa market diskarte nila yan.

in the past selling...5000 PHP ~100 USD selling difference

example:

(values based on the day and time posted)
(52 PHP = 1USD)

cash out

bittrex (3565 USD) = 185,380

coins.ph         = 180,801

cash in

bittrex (3571 USD) = 185,692

coins.ph         = 190,178

Reminds me of the good ol' internet boom (and burst of the bubble).
A broker I worked with told me about his own indicator: when the same story made the front page of the top three US magazines, it was time to sell it! Grin

I don't think we're anywhere near that yet.

BTC at 20000 in 2017   mining with an s-9  made 45 a day -  1400 watts of power

BTC at 9700 in 2019   mining with an s-9 makes 4.40 - power better yet   mining with an m20s it makes 22.34 a day - 3365 watts of power

we are simply not close to 2017

But we are back to s-9s that turn a profit at 14 cent power

yup.. i think we are not near yet...but take a little profit (just a little..) to celebrate the return of bull market and treat yourselves for enduring that bear market Grin

BTC @ 20k$, ETH @500$ and ill be taking a well deserved holiday Cheesy (Canuck bucks)
sadly i fear we will have dumps all the way up as the "normies" cut their losses from high buy ins last bubble there : /

and people who mined and bought in the bear market who will think they'll have a second shot at hitting the previous highs (like in 2017).....but what if it turned out to be the new lows or bottom--a price never to be visited again  Grin

solution: sent BTC to bittrex for USD cash out  Tongue
Totoo?

For the first time ever while driving Cryptocurrencies were mentioned on the radio.

I drive alot and back in 2017 I would think when BTC broke $10K that they would mention it but it was never meantioned.

Then today while listening they talked about the Facebook coin and how its called Libra and how its a cryptocurrency.

So it seems that this Facebook coin can be the 2019 equivalent of the 2017 Bitcoin futures which pushed BTC close to $20K.

I'm still thinking of many ways to hide from people if BTC goes ape shit..normies always want to buy the top.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: June 16, 2019, 01:24:09 PM

Thank Joel....great article.  It encapsulates everything I've thought...and the reason why I've backed DASH this whole time.  OG crypto ecosystem just doesn't get it.  That is why Bitcoin adoption has stopped growing and is in fact shrinking.  It is why all these other "crypto" projects wont succeed either.  They are built and run by fringe members of society like cyber punks and crypto anarchists that don't value the rest of society.  And thus will always fail in mass adoption because they can't relate.

It would be sad if dash gave up on anonymity and would allow mass surveilance on its users.
But that is what it has to do if it wants to get positive reviews from the western fake news media in the future.
However we already have such a coin its called "Ripple" thus theres no need for another one.

There are plenty coins with transparent blockchain, mainly bitcoin clones that get absolutely no attention at all.
Dash would not privacy would be Dash without fungibility, I am sure no one in the community can seriously consider that as a viable option.

Have I missed anything important or what is this discussion about? DASH isn't considering giving up on anonymity, is it?

That is an old thread you are quoting, and if you read the initial post and the replies that followed carefully then you know this is not about a consideration on giving up on anonymity. It's about an opinion raised in the first post  that Dash will never get any real love from the Bitcoin community even if there was no instamine, or even if Dash did not develop the anonymity / privacy part. The first post goes into the why of that opinion (providing social and cultural reasons).

Personally I believe Dash perception and image has been improved this year, after it kept integrating, expanding and following through on its long road towards Dash Evolution and thereby making Dash both more easy to use and more easy to obtain. I guess we changed from the black sheep of the crypto scene to the somewhat more greyish sheep of the crypto scene  Undecided

Do you really think DASH has ever been the black sheep of the scene? I mean there have been massive scams out there and DASH can neither count into that category nor be a category of its own in that regard.

What i do know is that Dash for a time was under constant attacks by trolls, had (and still has) difficulty getting any references (positive or negative) on Coindesk and was constantly hammered on its instamine history. This by itself could give people the impression that Dash was viewed
as the black sheep of the market. That impression does not necessarily mean it should be viewed as fact, and the article that
started this all was an opinion article so far i can tell.

Personally i rather view Dash as a crypto project in an underdog position (especially in the early years) fighting for regnonition of its achievements, rather then viewing it as a black sheep.

True although the instamine story wasn't wrong was it? Then again you could argue that the distribution of most of the coins is questionable.

No, the instamine story was not wrong. Trolls just tried really hard to falsely tie it all to a premine and a scam. Also a lot of other crypto projects had questionable distribution / startup problems.

instamine = mining instantly after launch to grab tremendous amount of coins by the founder and his friends to be later on placed as collateral to dictate the future of dash.

yup the instamine story was not wrong  Wink

Yes, the problem is that also master nodes are involved so there is an issue with a perhaps unfair distribution in the beginning.

they wanted it, here is a statement on the instamine by one of the foundation member/insider of dash team....it was meant to be unfair since day 1, they didn't admit it at first  Cheesy

instamine was brilliant.  In fact...its now my belief that any successful coin must either premine or instamine to actually fuel a full dev team and a full blown project.  We are creating a system to compete with fiat...not a crypto nerd token. Gone are the days when Bitcoin started when no one really knew what or where this was all going.

To create a system that will compete with any real money system will take 10's of millions of dollars in development and foundation building.  It will take millions of dollars to actually fuel properly.  You don't attempt what DASH is trying to do with childish dice games on shady gambling sites, donations or what ever charity one can cook up.

Instamined or Ninja Mined and even Premined...is a must.

https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OC/pages/19759164/Dash+Instamine+Issue+Clarification
Quote
Facts about the instamine
1. There was no pre-mine in Dash
2. ~1.86MM first 24h, ~2.02MM first 48h according to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/#@inflation
3. That represents approximately 10-15% of the total money supply that will ever be issued
4. This coin issue rate exceeded the published emission schedule by a wide margin

looking at number 3, that amount of coins in masternodes, how many coins those  (~1.86MM first 24h, ~2.02MM first 48h) earned through 2019?? that's the new golden question.
...and you just forget part when Evan found error and wanted to start all from zero  ( come on, your acc is old enough )... So don't hide that  part, it is here early pages. Add that to your numbers so we can see

How to launch EC2 instances to mine Darkcoin

I made an EC2-AMI with roughly my settings for mining DarkCoin. This is the cheapest and easiest way I've found to mine, and it's pretty easy. Here's a short walkthrough of how to get up and running:

1.) Open an EC2 account
2.) Go to aws.amazon.com, click EC2, then "Spot Requests", click "Request Spot Instance"
