so where are the TX and addresses of the hacked BTC, LTC and ETH?

since cryptopia is a goner, are they still pursuing that hacked coins? of course it is over.

assuming they recovered it (which they won't), where will it go? to the liquidation team?

having this pricktopians around here is a red flag hehe

liquidated?...welcome to cryptopia version 2.0 or i should say pricktopian scam version 2.0 in the making --> https://assetylene.com/

no wonder they didn't want you to withdraw funds. BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL GOING TO PAY FOR SOMETHING. this is it folks!

bentheanonmod, xtraelv and lafu was quiet for a reason...

cryptopia: "BUY LOW" by haircut? no! we need more now that BTC is at 8k and going up we are greedy motherfuckers haha

IT WAS A CRYPTOPIA EXIT SCAM AFTER ALL  Wink

who are the stake holders??...they are stealing your money legally.

Are you sure they never allowed withdraws? I thought that when the soft trading of those limited pairs opened they allowed withdraws for BTC and LTC and everything else was disabled "As they kept investigating".

I actually had a small amount of BTC on this exchange and feel a little irresponsible for not withdrawing that small amount, even though something told me that "Why is it taking so long and to get out quick just in case".

This is why I withdrew everything from Bitfinex a couple weeks back in case the same scenario happened. You can always send it back to the exchange and the withdraw fees weren't too high.

Really hope they re-enable withdraws for the alt-coins however which werent stolen.

some shitcoin withdrawal were not enabled..some of those they claimed are "secured" but didn't enabled withdrawals.

I'm actually on the fence about selling my B250-D8P V1 board with everything in its spotswood frame....   Put the $ into other ventures or just buy and hold BTC or another coin...  Im guessing the combination with no GPU's is worth ~550ish with its 1200w psu and being ready to use....   I do have enough computers lying around to get a substantial amount of GPU's running if need be...

choices....    oh a fluctuating market breeds choices....
Bah, I still run my Vegas and 1080's. Not making much but a profit is a profit.
The Polaris cards are gathering dust. They could theoretically make me some pennies, but that's not enough to waste time and money replacing the broken mobo underneath.

Currently it's a case of "if you've got the hardware, use it - if not, don't spend any money".

hehe that's why you buy the best cards when bull market pays you a hefty amount of money, if you are stingy to your cards the cards will be stingy at you too when time comes.

Having GUI wallet for windows or not, at the current period, does not matter.
It matters a lot. Where can Average Joe hold Grin? On exchange only. And we all know how bad decision is that. It's in first 3 advices you give someone ("don't keep your coins on exchange")
BTW, even terrible projects, some obvious scams and money-grabs have Windows GUI wallet.
So, the fact that Grin doesn't have it is intentionally for sure. Why? I'm not sure.

Here's a wild and crazy idea.

Maybe install Linux in a VM on your Windows machine, and run it that way ?

Also, the posts about people making web wallets just have me rolling my eyes, painfully backwards.

Not your keys, not your coins. Don't ever trust web custodial services.

windows wallet.

1173  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 26, 2019, 03:36:34 AM
are they going to enable deposits and withdrawals for other altcoins anytime soon?
enabling only for BTC, LTC and DOGE would just make people convert all altcoins to those three
or is this just their strategy to jump start trading and avoid massive outflows of all altcoins?

strategy? ever wondered that the BTC and LTC haircut taken by craptopia from users can be used to buy the altcoins that cannot get out of craptopia?  specially when users panic convert to fire sale prices to BTC and LTC just to get out hehe .. maximizing profit by also loading bags of shitcoin during this bear market (buy-low strategy applied to shitcoins too), craptopia is a shitcoin exchange after all.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are Mining Still Profit? on: April 22, 2019, 11:33:02 AM
on some low cap shitcoins a $1200 worth of buy can drive the price a bit up, it is better to just mine and put a low ball buy order for rage quitters hehe and since we are already in the lows a x2 is a good probabilty so 1000 x2 is $2000 a $800 profit, that is if you are already happy at x2 and when you are into a really good shitcoin you might hit x10, now that's $8000

XMR hit 1$ back then, lets be conservative at x100 (since it hit 300$), now that's $80,000  Grin

When I talked that, eth was around $120, now is $170, that is 40% profit in less than 60 days, when mining would ever give 40% profit in less than 60 days? See that is I always say that mining is only profitable when the roi is less than 100 days or so.

at less than 100 days ROI - that's where miners should sell their coins being mined and/or previously mined coins or they could gamble and wait a little bit more if they think it will still go up.

some miners are counting days and weeks, some are counting months, some are counting years...but still they can change their minds anytime and dump the coins.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are Mining Still Profit? on: April 22, 2019, 03:33:52 AM
I was right. Google can find anything today.

Today if you earn $1000 per month mining, you have to pay $1200 on electricity if 0.10 per kwh, that is 20% loss already plus all the hassle and problems, imagine if your house is burnt because of it or some other terrible thing happen. Truth is, mining is only profitable if it gives the return of your investment in less than 100 days which is not the case. The $200 loss could have used to buy coins instead of paying for electricity, matter of fact all the $1200 could have used to buy coins now when is cheap and relax on your sofa and wait till this market becomes super bull and then you get from 10 to 50 times the money you invested.

you are poor and then you are rich and then you are poor again and then you are rich again  Cheesy

it is pretty enlightening isn't it?

you must figure something out...always have a plan  Wink

meanwhile zotac 1080ti extreme fans can be pulled off, it was some very fine dust that can make the fans get a hard time spinning, just clean with alcohol and then apply some oil (a drop or two) will get it going.
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: April 17, 2019, 06:58:33 PM
yes it is, compared to the corrupt world we live in, it is pretty fast....it is designed to enrich the individual by decentralizing money.

if you are already sick at $ 5000 per BTC, you'll be dead in the next bull run heheh  Wink
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto - Evidence Here on: April 17, 2019, 06:38:19 PM
It is all bout having a coin using the name "Bitcoin" and selling it to investards, normies and plebs.

from forking to Bitcoin cash (BCH) to forking Bitcoin satoshi vision (BSV)?? BSV cements it, became too obvious he/they just want another shitcoin to sell.

because they don't have access to my keys and that is the way to sell shitcoins, by using THE "Bitcoin" name  Grin

1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): The current state of Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: April 13, 2019, 11:39:39 AM
Since Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency isnt that heavily regulated in the country but taxes do still bothers me.I've been on crypto for how many years and all crypto earnings goes thru my bank account converted
from my Coins.ph account and now they go already starting to ask on where those earning came from.

Philippines government doesnt really care too much about crypto but transactions made and all things that can sipped out taxes will really be a pain in the ass.Would they possibly
come to that situation?

Yea. I think it's less due to them asking because of bitcoin, but more of simply asking where your income is coming from. I don't think they wouldn't care what bitcoin is, as long as they can tax it. 🤷‍♂️ I suggest using less of Coins.ph, and probably a bit more of peer-to-peer through LocalBitcoins. If you could be able to transact in person via cash, then better.

Have you had much success using Rebit.ph? I have reached my withdrawal limits for the year on coins.ph and signed up for Rebit, unfortunately they're taking over a month to verify my ID... Do you have any other suggestions for BTC to PHP withdrawals? Other than increasing my Coins.ph limit, which I can't do, because I don't have a permanent address here...

The exchanges usually have a tier structure for limits when people adhere to different levels of their KYC/AML regulations. So, they might give you a withdrawal limit of say $5000 if you provide your ID and if you give 3 months Bank statements, then you qualify for a higher tier withdrawal limit of say $50 000. <Is this applicable there?>

I know LocalBitcoins have also jumped on the KYC/AML bandwagon lately, so no more pseudo anonymity for using Bitcoin on their platform.  Roll Eyes

bittrex international and kraken international can wire you fiat if you have a USD bank account in the Philippines, they have better buy and sell rates than coins.ph. so far only 1000$ or more is a good minimum cash out option because of bank fees.
