I remember reading tons of posts for good news in July (not ATH, but relatively high). Do you guys think its still on, or will August or September be a better time frame. (Not ATH but like 700-900 or so).

However, people can at most proof that they did deposit some CFC to ShareX. It is more than unlikely they can show proof they didn't sell their ShareX holdings and then withdraw BTC afterward
Not that hard to track via the blockchain explorer, I'm confident I could track this. Harder to prove any bought on the exchange but not appearing in ur online exchange wallet address. In my case I'll be just claiming those I sent to the exchange for the swap (luckily for staking purpose most the times earlier I bought I'd sent back to my wallet), any bought on the exchange that I can't now prove I'll just write off as lost (none of which is in anyway coffeecoin's fault) along with the various other coins I lost in sharex including some btc  Nope. I do daily trades on exchanges and I'm sure blockchain explorer cannot track this The problem is that if people did sell their CFC holdings on ShareX, blockchain explorer still showed no change of their balance as long as the new buyer did not withdraw No offense but it's how blockchain explorer works. Nothing can be tracked if no new transaction on the network That means our dev can only know these coins are still on ShareX, but he cannot know who is the owner of the coins probably the only possibility is to keep all coins of sharex in an account. Then let everyone request its coins with an transaction id or a trading claim. If noone is complaining, everything is alright. If someone is complaining you probably have to solve that somehow in a "human" way without a technical help. I mean, they can be glad, if they are getting their coins back already. Hopefully there are no greedies ;-) |

you need to go/follow thru their announcments for getting free coins forget the givaways. At least 99% of them are offering just worthless amounts. They are worthless and they stay worthless. At least the majority. |

1. Read Bitcointalk forum daily
this! forget the rest! you have to get your own feeling, what is good and what is bad. Don't listen to trolls. Don't blindly mine any new coins because in 99% you will get less on the exchange than you spent for the energy. That worked maybe last year quite well but now you have to have a broader view. The only advice I can give you is READ, READ and READ. What coins are really innovativ? What coins have new ideas? What is a cheap clone? If you are lucky you get a free or relatively cheap but precious stack. Don't invest anything in Mining hardware. Why? 1. Mining will be less and less as it is wasting energy. There will be better ideas. And I am not only talking of POS. 2. If its a mineable coin you can buy the coins for the same amount or even cheaper after the first hype if many are selling off. There may be one or two coins, that really require you to mine because they don't hit the exchange early, but even they can be bought relatively cheap in the trading forums. For example i have a very good CPU and was mining Monero at the beginning. I got about 200 since then. In the trading forums they were selling 1000 for 1BTC after 1 week. ATM you get 3BTC for the 1000 at the exchange and it will be probably 10folding the next couple of months. |

understand: Cryptomoney should replace normal money. If you give normal money out of your hand, you risk, that its gone and that is life. So you should think BEFORE you give something instead of going like a kid to a higher authority AFTER you were tricked. There are tons of escrowing services you can trust. They maybe have also an insurance then, that you get you money back if everything breaks. We have to grow up. Don't risk, what you are not able to loose. |

Also anonymity is a disadvantage and overrated Apart from the possibility of regulatory issues, if the blockchain/transaction record is hidden, then groups of pool owners of large pools could potentially collude to double spend, and if there is no transaction record, then this will not be detectable. Other such scenarios exist as well - remember that the blockchain is a public ledger designed to prevent or record fraud. Hiding this exposes the coin to serious risks. The blockchain is NOT for recording fraud but only to prevent it. We want to make cryptocurrencies like real money and NOT traceable. If i give a chick 1000 bucks for a kiss on my ass, only me and her know this and this should'nt change. If you steal it, its gone and thats life. |
