Russia reserves        $400 billion

You mean oil? US has 30.5 billion barrels of oil in reserve. A barrel of oil is about $96 right now. You do the math.

BTW, Russia controls its own Central Bank & you can see it can but it doesn't have to print money like what the American Fed does because its coffers is still full

Actually, they don't print money like what the America Fed does, because russian ruble is already down 30% this year! They have enough inflation without printing any more money.

According to pro-Kiev Burkonews, Ukrainian Security service (SBU) is arresting locals in Odessa, Mykolaiv, Volnovakha and Krasnoarmisk for the alleged subversive activities and connection with the resistance movement.

Hope they arrest those Russian nazis

Note, the financial war Russia & China are doing is "De-dollarization". Russia is getting out of the dollar system. We are witnessing here the birth of an alternative financial system not based on the imploding dollar.

The Ruble-Dollar rate is  just a ready propaganda tool of the WEst but anybody well-versed on economics knows the grain from the hulls. For all its worth, that SNAPSHOT rate is fluctuating,  and it could change anytime,- in fact, it would recover later down the line after every sanction round.

It's funny you keep going "Dollar, dollar, dollar!" on here. A lot of us don't use dollars (lots of Europeans here), and most of us don't even care about dollars, because we are using bitcoin. So... who cares?

Almost all... You know what would be great? If the ones who aren't would take their military hardware and go back to Russia where they came from

So far, the facts from the war in Donbass says that what you are posting here is BS.

Out of the 1,500 or so NAF soldiers killed so far in the War in Donbass, more than 80% were born in the Donetsk or Lugansk oblasts. Some 15% were from other regions of Ukraine, while less than 5% were foreign volunteers (from Russia, Serbia, Abkhazia.etc).

Of course. Russian troops are much more experienced in combat, and wouldn't put themselves into a position where they would be at risk. It's not their war or their country they are fighting for. At the same time, Nato has said that more than 1,000 Russian troops are in Ukraine, but since you don't believe Nato, according to various rights groups, up to 15,000 Russian soldiers have been sent to Ukraine over the past two months, and at least 200 may have died in combat there. Considering how quickly and secretly dead russian troops are sent back into russia, it wouldn't be surprising if that list you gave was very incomplete.

1. Read about sanctions done on China after the Tienanmen massacre. Despite those sanctions,, we know what happened to China- it is now the richest country in the world
2. Of course, Sanctions can't be done now on China or the world will laugh.
3. blah blah blah, word diarhea

I didn't ask why isn't US and the rest of the world avoiding placing sanctions on China. NO ONE WANTS OR IS EVEN INTERESTED IN PLACING SANCTIONS ON CHINA. Yes, they had the Tienamen square issue, but guess qhat? China is not a lot more open and capitalist than it used to be. That's why it's doing so well economically.

So, if your statement is that USA and Europe are sanctioning Russia because they are worried that their monopolar world will be challenged by Russian, then
1. There is ALREADY a multipolar world, with USA, EU, and China. And
2. China is MUCH bigger economic threat than Russia, but not only is no one considering sanctioning it, no one even wants to, or thinks China deserves it.
466  Other / Off-topic / Re: Police break down door without warning, cop gets shot. Man faces death penalty. on: September 15, 2014, 11:57:00 PM
If you read further into this story the guy had drug paraphenelia and was linked to an informant. This is not an innocent man just doing his daily thing when Cops mistakenly broke his door down.

If you read more, the drug paraphernalia was a "glass tube" that could be used to take drugs - it doesn't say if this was a crack pipe or a bong, and could just be a glass tube - and it says they did the raid based on informant's information only, without bothering to corroborate or investigate the informant's story further, and informants are often forced to give up information under pressure, with promises that they will get some leniency in their sentencing, so they lie just to give the cops anything.
467  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: September 15, 2014, 11:51:23 PM
Here is a problem I have been having when doing in person trades. I have been using wallet32 for all my trades lately (until the mycelium hd wallet comes out). Often I am doing trades where there are more than one people that I have to trade with at the same time, usually one guy I know and his friend. I have a few times run into the problem where I cant send funds to the second guy right away because all my bitcoins are tied up with the last transaction. I have to wait for one confirm before the remaining funds are sent back to one of my change addresses. I know I can keep different amounts on different addresses/accounts to try and avoid this problem but this is a pain to send smaller amounts to a bunch of separate addresses and can start costing some significant money at 0.0001 per transaction. My question is, are there any plans to one day implement the ability on the mycelium wallet to sent to multiple addresses in one transaction such as one is able to do on mytrezor.com z.B.?

On the testnet version of Mycelium Wallet you can send funds over and over, with 0 confirmations, as long as they are from your own BIP32 wallet, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Pure curiosity , is there somebody that can post the prices for fresh (not refrigerated) salmon in their countries ?
I'm sure Nemo can give some hint to Norway or Russia prices but the rest?

Picking some at the market yesterday I have a feeling we pay the most.
I paid around 15 euros per kilo at Auchan yesterday.

Fresh as in swimming in an aquarium at the store? Or fresh as in refrigerated, but never frozen?

Nor frozen, only refrigerated.

$11 per pound, or about $5 per kilo at my local grocery

OK... now what should we do with the United States, which has invaded the following nations ever since the World War 2?

...

Don't tell me that people in every nook and corner of the world want the United States to invade their country, to spread the love of capitalism and democracy (as someone replied to me here).

Maybe some day you will be able to explain what those US bases and invasions have to do with Russia invading countries and Ukraine?

Share prices of companies such as Exxon Mobil has been declining for many days now.  Grin

Believe it or not, many (maybe close to half) of Americans would actually be happy about that  Grin

Is it possible to view the transaction values in currency? I would not mind whether it was at the current rate or rate of transaction.

This would allow for a very simple point of sale process.

You can already switch between bitcoin and currencies when entering the amount. Press the blue mBTC button next to where the amount shows up as you enter it. Or did you mean something else?
472  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS Threatens Putin/Russia on: September 15, 2014, 06:02:35 AM
Maybe your English isn't as good, but going through is not the same as producing. Russian gas is going through Ukraine. Ukraine is not producing a lot of gas.

You seems to be having an IQ level below 70.

I never said that foreign oil passed through Iraq. But the volumes of Iraqi oil itself was quite significant, at over 10% of the world's exports. So the statement "There was really never a lot of oil going through Iraq" is wrong in the first place. 3 million barrels of crude per day is a very very bog amount.

My IQ is just fine. Dankkk said "There was really never a lot of oil going through Iraq, all the oil that passed through Iraq was produced in the country," and you "corrected" him by pointing out that all the oil that passed through Iraq was produced in the country. He said the exact same thing you did. So you better check your own IQ, (since English comprehension apparently wasn't the problem).

I'm sure you have heard about all the Russian mothers complaining about not knowing where their sons were, and only finding out they were in Ukraine after they died.

Here is the official website of the Union of the Committees of Soldiers' Mothers of Russia (Союз Комитетов Солдатских Матерей России):

http://www.ucsmr.ru/

There are no complaints here about their sons fighting in Ukraine. Remember that at the time of the Chechen wars, the СКСМР was very active in publishing the plight of the soldiers.

Huh? So Russian mothers write letters, make blog posts, and record videos demanding to know where their sons are, why their sons are in Ukraine, why their sons are dying in Ukraine, and why they aren't even allowed to properly bury their sons after they died in Ukraine, and Russia makes an "official" website where mothers are perfectly fine and proud of their sons, whatever they are doing? Why am I not surprised?!

And remember at the time on Chechen wars, it turned out that Russian soldiers did actually die.

If only the Russian government did as much to reduce their numbers as it does to reduce the numbers of gay people

The Russian march has been going on for many decades now, and it is not possible to ban it. Most of the people who participate in that are activists of the Orthodox church, and only a minority are neo-Nazis. That said, for the past several years, the Russian March has been very peaceful, with no reports of attacks against racial minorities.

I'm sure the Ukrainian Nazis are also very peaceful, with no attacks against minorities  Cheesy

If they witness the deaths, then they ARE there? What are they doing in civilian areas, shooting at Ukrainian army? They are putting civilians at risk!

The NAF forces, in most cases are not stationed near the civilian residential areas. However, in case of casualties occurring as a result of the Kiev shelling, they are called to the scene in order to remove the dead bodies and rescue the trapped civilians.

Ah, so like in that RT video of a grad firing rockets, they enter civilian areas, fire rockets at Ukrainian army, then quickly get the heck out of there, and then when Ukrainian army shots back, thinking they are still there, they have to return and get demoralized after removing the dead bodies. I get it now.

And yes... it demoralizes them, as almost all of them are natives of the Donbass region, unlike the neo-Nazis who are imported from Lvov and Ternopol.

Almost all... You know what would be great? If the ones who aren't would take their military hardware and go back to Russia where they came from, and stopped firing on Ukrainian army from civilian regions. I mean, what's the worst case that could happen? If they stay and fight, they either continue getting more of their own people killed, or at best if they win, they either lose all their independence completely if they are integrated into Russia (who is very strict with anyone even suggesting independence), or are allowed to be their own country, but are filled by actual neo-Nazis (remember pictures of them in Nazi uniforms?) who will undoubtedly continue to torture and kill people they think are not supportive of their regime (and it's a fact that nowhere near 100% want to break off, since only about 30% even voted in the poll asking whether to break of). On the other hand, if they give up and either ask for amnesty, or go to Russia, who is known to give amnesty to mass murderers (for example Yanukovich), then things go back to normal with the region staying under Ukraine, which as you guys keep repeating is a failing state, and thus has a weak government not able to force or oppress anything, and then vote to break off for real, all the refugees can return to their own homes and reclaim their stuff, and they can either get jobs and earn lots of money mining that gas, or even have real elections to see whether they want to break off, ones not presided by angry looking men holding machine guns.

Seriously, what kind of rosy ending do you suppose can happen here, when a neo-Nazis nationalist group from Russia is fighting a neo-Nazis nationalist group from Ukraine? Even if Russia wins this fight, it will likely end up the same way as when US won the war in Iraq, with Ukrainian nationalist continuing to fight and blow things up.

The rockets from the NAS that hit the airport are coming from inside the city.
Why are the launchers located there?

The truth is that the Ukraine army fires at residential areas because as they are losing the war and it is done in vengeance.. they have no other recourse. Also, it heavily demoralizes the NAF troops to witness such death.
[/quote]

If they witness the deaths, then they ARE there? What are they doing in civilian areas, shooting at Ukrainian army? They are putting civilians at risk! Since you admitted they are there, answer niothor's question!

I think, Russians give too much leeway to the games of the bankrupt EU states. Remember, these countries are past their prime, they are on their way out, so it's time to introduce new methods of doing things. It may not tally with their old script, but their script is already outdated, time to introduce other ways of doing things...

Hey, this is a question to the rest of you anti-Ukraine junta. Do you guys actually agree with what this nutcase is saying? How can your site both be against military expansion and spreading political ideology to other countries that "need" it (like you claim "The West" does), AND at the same time be for military expansion and spreading political ideology to other countries that "need it?" I mean, I'd love to paint you all with the same crazy brush as this Nazi nutcase here, but he's so far out that it wouldn't even be fair!
478  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: September 15, 2014, 04:58:18 AM
The NAF is now leveling every square inch of the Donetsk Airport using Grad rockets.

Very good... I think they should bomb Mariupol too...

Excellent! Feels good to admit that you're all for bombing a civilian area, as long as it's not one you support, doesn't it?

Of course, just like in Ukraine, the CIA has these trolls who are very angry in forums

Lol! Wtf? I know Russia always claims that it's the other side that's doing the things they are doing (having Nazi problems, shelling civilians, spreading lies in the media, etc.) but CIA trolls, too? While there are Kremlin trolls for sure, I assure you there are no CIA trolls in any forums. That's not even their job!

What this means for Russia: not much, since Russian government owns the oil and the energy companies that most of Russia's income comes from (this is called fascism or communism BTW, depending on whom you ask).
Is Norway fascist or communist, or its 67% stake in Statoil is not enough?

Socialist. Their state owned entities are owned by politicians who are actually subject to elections and can be voted out of power. I.e. they have an actual democracy, so it's the democratically elected government that owns the company, not a single party ruling elite.

If you're talking with a bit educated person then it's state capitalism

That's, like, almost the definition of fascism, since there's really no such thing as actual state capitalism.

Also, LOL! Right, "your girlfriend"  Grin Having trouble defending your positions, so now being forced to run to your girlfriend for extra help. Hah!
480  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: September 15, 2014, 03:57:20 AM
Just realized something. A lot of anti-Ukraine people here are worried about a monopolar world, or whatever, where there is only one economic superpower, and are French kissing Putin's asshole because they think he is the only one left to stand in that power's way, and the only one capable of bringing about a multipolar world.

But, who is sanctioning China? Who is planning military attacks against it? Many in US acknowledge it as the second most powerful economic power in the world, and even accept that it has a very good chance to surpass USA within a few decades. They look at it from the point of US power being in decline, sigh sadly, and shrug their shoulders, thinking the only solution is to either work harder and do better, or accept our fate and let another superpower have the spotlight for a while. No one is proposing going to war with China, or undermining it politically with coups. US and many Americans still see China as a valuable business partner and at least somewhat of a friend, even if one they can't fully trust. Russia, by contrast, has an almost negligible economic power, and yet is considered very hostile. So obviously it's not because of their possible superpower status.
