Can a admin ban this user? He advertise only circlehash and iceriver.eu. Iceriver.eu is not a official iceriver partner and is the same like circlehash. compare the 2 sites, many parts look the same.

Here also some fraud alarm threads and so from other sites:

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Talking about MINING KASPA... on: February 19, 2024, 01:57:08 PM
Well, at the housing platform, that i use, I pay only 0.14 USD kW/H. So the energy consumption is not really a problem, I was just wondering ,if theres anything, that has more TH than KS3M, since that is probably the best choice right now. Iam not ocnsidering The Wind Miner, beacause they are faulty and the tend to stop working in like a few months lol.

14 cent per KW? What a crappy price dude. I mean 5min of search and i found many better hosting services with 6 - 8 cent per kw.

And what shit you are talking? I mean your posts show us that you are not so deep in the mining business (14 cent per kw/h say all what i need to know), but you spreading false information.
Windminer was released at the end of november, so how will you know that this miners are faulty?
KS3M best choice with most TH? What? You have miners with more TH for Kaspa. BM-KS with over 10TH is available, bitmain kas miner is also available on some sites with over 9th.

For me here is something strange -> is this a real person or what? I mean who buy ASIC Miners for thousands of dollars and has a knowledge like a rock in this topic? Make no sense to me, or is this here only to promote a fake hosting site with a reference to fake iceriver.eu?

why is circlehash and iceriver.eu looking the same?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dual Mining ETH/ZIL with PhoenixMiner on HiveOS with Ezil mining pool. on: February 19, 2024, 11:42:11 AM
Ezil pool is closing!
‼️Ezil is set to close down mining pool segment! Dear miners,
We regret to inform you that our team has made a decision to shut down @ezil_me
mining pool and seize its operations on 25 March 2024 (12:00 PM UTC)⛏️⚙️‼️
Please read the full thread 👇🏻

Quote
Unfortunately, the Ethereum merger
had a huge negative impact on the cryptomining market and practically destroyed mining on video cards, which is now hardly profitable. We tried to remain optimistic and put a lot of effort into market research, exploring various opportunities for GPU miners after the merger. But unfortunately, there are no alternatives that can compete with the market size of Ethereum.

Given current market conditions, it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to remain profitable and continue to invest in the further development of our mining pool, especially when the future of GPU mining itself remains very uncertain. The founders of Ezil had to admit that it was time to move on and pursue other endeavors, such as testing innovative protocols and blockchains.

This is the end of an era for our entire team.
Ezil has been a top tier Ethereum mining pool for many years. Our team has grown from a few people to a large team distributed throughout the world. We are proud of our achievements as we have always strived to provide you with the best profitability and services in the market. But we have to face reality and admit that GPU mining is becoming obsolete.
Thank you for being with us for the last 5 years 💙
We will do our best to process all payments and support requests in a timely manner.
Ezil Team

This statement makes no sense - "But we have to face reality and admit that GPU mining is becoming obsolete." ehm dudes most of your coins are mineable by ASICīs so what a shit they write. Sorry but can someone explain it? I mean Mining become more and more profitable over the last months and they say it is not worth anymore? Here is something strange going on.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: TT-Miner 2024.1.1 BLAKE3, KAWPOW, ETHASH, ETCHASH, EPIC, SHA512256D, SHA3D, ETI on: February 15, 2024, 11:59:11 AM
New TT-Miner version 2024.1.1

- fix: memory leak, could led to slower hashrates and crashes after some days
- smaller memory footprint
- stratum protocol for ETI
- much better performance for Ghostrider and Blake3 on 10XX (Pascal GPUs)
- better performance for almost all other algos
- allows to mine different coins/algos on each GPU
- better performance and support for AMD (does not work for algos that requires a DAG and Ghostrider )
- better performance for intel iGPU and Intel CPU (does not work for algos that requires a DAG and Ghostrider )

https://github.com/TrailingStop/TT-Miner-release/releases/edit/2024.1.1

please report any issues.
Thanks and happy mining!

Please share the right link -> thanks

https://github.com/TrailingStop/TT-Miner-release/releases/tag/2024.1.1

No support for Nvidia Pascal GPUīs?

10XX should be supported - please share some more information about the bug you see.

Thanks.

It doesnīt start with 10xx series. Tried Eti and no success. Windows 10 driver 522.5

IGPU mining also donīt work. Never get it to start on any Intel IGPU and i tried much and i have 7 years of mining experience.
The documentation is also not good, why not all paramaters in one table? and some more examples for a better understanding.

I wrote it in the past that i would test your builds but you donīt care. This is how germans act with other germans. This country is so lost.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: kaspaclassic mining on: February 14, 2024, 01:28:24 PM
Cheesy and another KAS fork, i saw it 2 days ago on twitter, maybe i swing some GPUs on it at launch to sneak some coins for the first listing, but I think it won't live long.

Thanks FP91G for submitting the information.
I don’t remember which kaspa fork it is. Or do you think that kaspaclassic will be as successful as Ethereum classic?
In theory, all these forks should die quickly, because they are useless and they are made by a team of several people. I have now switched to mining Gram from TON, but after a few days it will appear in calculators and the good profit will end.

No this will be not successful like ETC, i think KaspaClassic is bullshit. Karlsen and Pyrin are maybe good forks, but thats it. I donīt believe much in all this forks, but we can use it to make some extra money.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nexellia (NXL) mining on: February 12, 2024, 10:53:12 AM
KLS - PYI - NXL are the same.
The market price will not go to the moon Sad

KLS is the first kaspa fork. KLS is the first karlsenhash algo.
In this case, we can say NXL is a cpoy of KLS.

It doesn't necessarily have to go to the moon, but it gave a few extra satoshis and we have dual mining options. And it is good to have some more dualmining options.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: IceRiver KS0 Pro 200Gh/s: Powerful Kaspa Coin Mining Made Easy on: February 05, 2024, 11:29:30 AM
It is not worth. You paid 250 Kas for a firmware + heatsinks .... to make 3 or 4 kas more and this will go down for sure. So how long do you need to get this 250 Kas back? Same for purchase. $349 = 3500 Kas, how long need a KS0 to mine 3500 Coins and the difficulty increasing everyday?

Donīt buy Kas Asics, always better to buy the coins because of the increase of hashrate and this will continues. Keep in mind you can only mine Kas with this Asics
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner-MULTI AMD & NVIDIA & INTEL & CPU miner on: February 05, 2024, 11:01:32 AM
I'm not complain, i'm asking the question. Coz everyone know (in case of 99.9% mining software) - if you make some typos in command line - then miner didn't start or show some error/warning message - behaviour excpected by any user of mining software. Ctrl+c/Ctrl+v is very strong force then you try new versions/new software, so i even not excpect i have some typo in command line - coz miner start normally without any unexpected messages.

And this situation does not in any way cancel the fact that latest versions have problems with algos i indicated before my mistake with --multi-algoithm-job-mode 3 .

If so, then why the fuck miner didn't show any warnings about wrong parameter?

you wrote why the fuck and this is not complain? You cry like a baby for months, maybe for over a year, but never find the failure you made? You acting in this forum like a king, harsh to other user or doesnīt accept other meanings and no you make no mistake, never in this world.  Roll Eyes
99,9% of the miners show wrong parameters? Should i start what miners doesnīt show all wrong typos?

lolminer, teamredminer, miniZ srbminer, ccminer, cpu optminer, xmr stak all of this miners can having typo failures in the commandline without an error, not all parameters but some.

Dude calm down and work together and not be like the biggest narcissist. And why you donīt ask in the SRBminer discord, you find many users their and better support, doctor is also more active in discord.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 01, 2024, 09:28:19 AM
I made some more tests. The problem is miniz Miner with version 2.2c it doesnīt work. With 2.1c it is working with your commandline.
Good point. Previously I was testing with 2.1c only and everything looked fine no matter how many times I tried to reproduce this issue.

With 2.2c it isn't working no matter if I do --pers auto or --pers=auto.

If I instead go to the Options dialog, Online Services, then edit the Nicehash Equihash 125,4 entry and change the Personalization from "auto" to "ZelProof", it's working fine. There is no need to manually adjust the command line parameters. This could be a workaround until the "auto" flag in Miniz is working again.

hmm yeah now it works with ZelProof only, at the day i tested, AM only wrote zelproof instead of ZelProof doesnt matter what i wrote, but i restartet AM yesterday, maybe something was stuck.  Cheesy
But i think it was a good point to show other that you can override parameters if you want and know how.  Smiley

can you add Abelian coin and the dual mining options for Teamredminer and Rigel.

And glad to see back here patrike, i had a little fear because it was quite here for a while. I hope all is going well. Wish you the best for this year.  Smiley

i waited long for this trm update. Glad it is here now. I had some fear that TRM leaving the space, because the guys do also stuff for industrial mining for big companies.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Hosting - Discussion on: January 31, 2024, 09:38:12 AM
So recently, I did some research and tried to use some hosting platforms. I'am based in Europe, so I wanted some European company, that also has some real evidence, of their mining center etc..

After some research and few conversations with my friends, that had been already using hosting platforms, I decided to use CircleHash.

So far so good, support is active and very friendly, and I had literally no issues so far, so Iam about to order another KS3 on their platform.

I ALSO wanted to know your TAKE on this, so if you have any experience with other European platforms, I'll be happy to hear about it. Huh

Circlehash? I mean what i saw this is just a dude who hosted some miners in his backroom. I wouldnīt use it. 33000 for a 10TH kaspa miner? They talking about a decade on mining experience - this look not like a decade of experience  Cheesy and 10 follower on X - hmm ok.
The Homepage does not meet the minimum requirements in Europe.
I donīt know why people are so stupid - i would avoid Circlehash or is this here a hidden advertising?

And why must it be in europe? I have a couple of miners hosted around the world, i donīt care about the location, more important is support and pricing.

Be careful iceriver.eu is not an official iceriver site, so it looks all fake in my opinion and all infos about circlehash and iceriver.eu are new and the official iceriver.io X account donīt follow circlechash or iceriver.eu
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.26.8 ETHW, ETC (+dual mining) GPU miner on: January 30, 2024, 08:56:51 AM
You are correct….i knew it was a bad monday.

i should remove it from my discord list….as well

Thanks for correcting me.

We all have sometimes a bad monday or day  Cheesy
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.26.8 ETHW, ETC (+dual mining) GPU miner on: January 29, 2024, 02:07:50 PM
I don't think so, latest update almost 2 years ago, Rigel miner is good replacement for Trex ,Nowadays for my side Rigel is best miner for nvidia.
Thanks

Last updated 10/14/2022……

So its been 3 months not 2 years…..

Dude we are in 2024 and not 2023  Cheesy. The miner was last updated after the ETH merge. T-Rex is dead for over 1 year so you both are wrong Grin
Sad to see such reliable miner and developer leaving the communities alone without any statement. Sure it is their right, but they made also much money with the mining community, so a short statement would be nice, but thats a dream.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: abelian (ABEL) mining on: January 29, 2024, 11:42:40 AM
Lost one day with 6 graphic cards, just to earn 1,2 coin.
Wasted time.

Yeah is not that worth anymore or at the moment, but is good to have opportunities.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: FPGAs on: January 29, 2024, 11:14:49 AM
i can say not worth, and this by far. I mean between $1 - $5 earnings a day before power and a price over $5000. FPGA mining is not worth and it was never worth in my opinion, the devices are too expensive.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 25, 2024, 10:46:07 AM
I made some more tests. The problem is miniz Miner with version 2.2c it doesnīt work. With 2.1c it is working with your commandline.

So if you donīt need EthashB3 or the stuff in 2.2c you can still use 2.1c. This is also the latest official support version by AM, but i think the problem is miniz miner setting wrong values

But Version 2.2c also works when i wrote in --pers ZelProof in the commandline. This way you can force AM to override the arguments:

The whole commandline now:

Another way is to add the line --pers ZelProof in the commandline in online services and the specific nicehash 125.4 pool:

Nearly all is possible if you know how  Cheesy i hope this help you a little bit. I do some further tests maybe tomorrow and play with the personal string option.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ice mining on: January 25, 2024, 08:16:03 AM
This project will die very fast. 25% extra rewards for mining with friends? And this is not real mining. We had a similar project here last year with same promising and now it is dead.
Just my 2 cents  Cheesy
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 24, 2024, 11:00:25 AM
You made a mistake:

in the screenshot with "auto" the commandline is ... --pers auto .... but it should --pers=auto.

and in the zelproof screen you have set pers 2 times.

.... --pers --pers=zelproof ...... This is wrong, the first --pers must be deleted, but i think this is set by AM, so patrik need to adjust this.

In personal string maybe you must write only =auto or =zelproof - give it a try please.

Yes the = between --pers and auto is missing, here the argument from the miniZ website:

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Rigel 1.13.0 - Radiant, Nexa and IronFish GPU miner (Nvidia only) on: January 23, 2024, 12:15:59 PM
Hey Rigel,

T-Rex has a great option: "--keep-gpu-busy". Means, he continue the mining even with no internet connection.

Especially in the winter months that option keeps the GPUs warm and not freezing to death, it's a great safety feature just for the case. Is it possible to get that same option for your miner? Thats the only reason using T-Rex over Rigel.

(And maybe also add ProgPowZ to mine ZANO, would be awesome)

Thanks!

Freezing to death? Colder = better = less power consumption

Some of my rigs running in a room with a negative temperature for years and nothing died because of cold temperature. I donīt why people think hardware die in cold environments. You know about LN2 cooling for CPU or GPU in extreme benchmarks? You know that this parts running at -50C or more negative temperatures and the hardware is fine.

Easy too cold doesnīt exist for pc parts -> the only problem can be condensation formation, but never happend to me.

So keep busy was stupid at T-Rex miner times and is still stupid.

Try to read and understand how condensation works...

Cold is good, yes, if the cards have work.
But with no internet connection, or something with the pool, or any bugs, or whatever other reason the cards could have no work, condensation occurs and they can die fast. Especially watercooled cards in any variant can die in minutes. Even the best rules in Awesome Miner or Hive wont work if the connection is lost for any reason. That simple option is the only reason me and my friends with hundreds of cards, and i think many others too, are using the old T-Rex for some coins in the winter to keep the space heated.

If you dont want to use such option, dont use it, simple. But it would be great to have such option in Rigel too, to protect very expensive hardware. And less T-Rex means more cash for Rigel. So thank you Rigel for considering this Smiley

Donīt try to explain how condensation works to me, and now why condensation? you talked about freezing to death  Huh But condensation I know it and did you run GPU at negativ degrees or i do? I described it below, i never saw any condensation, never i am mining this way for almost 7 years, and i have also hundreds off cards and asics.
My internet connection was interrupted a day, after i came home and fixed the internet, the cards start hashing with -5C and ended up at 30C and no condensation (Keep in mind the room temperature is below 0 without hashing). Maybe you must learn more about condensation and not me  Wink You every saw condensation on GPUīs or you only hear about it? I asked your hear about LN2 cooling, you saw how wet this mainboards are? And they donīt die. I had a rig stand next to the open door and in winter the snow falling on this rig and melted but suprise suprise the whole 13 card rig is running until today without any problems. I can give you so many more examples of my own experience with condensation, water in combination with electric parts -> condensation nearly donīt exist, you must do so much wrong to provoke condensation. and water on electric parts are not good. but mostly the things not dying.

And next time we are here to help out other peoples. And some people have other experience than other people and together we all know more -> swarm intelligence, but some people are so stubborn. But it is ok, do what you want.
Condansation occurs when the envirement and the card temp have huge temp differences.Delta T around 30 degrees may starts condansation, when mining stops Also card temperature degrees to envirement temp within in less then a minute ,so there is no risk but i don't say no Miner have this option  , maybe someone wanna use ths option.

Sure maybe someone use this, for me personally i see no use case. But I want to let him know that there is no such thing as freezing to death. Some of my systems run the whole year in an room with open door everytime, whether it's 30°C or -15°C, they run perfectly all the time. Lowest messured GPU die temperature was -5°C in idle and 10°C at mining  Cheesy
