Would you buy a rtx2060 super for 440$ right now for long term mining? It's possible to get 45mh from this graphic card I heard I just want to know if 440$ fits this graphic card
As far as I know it does a maximum 42.xx Mhsh but surely the price for the long term mining is OK for me for this card,it doesn't consume a lot of power,at 100-120 watt max for 42 Mhsh is not that bad. I have ordered a 2060 12 GB which does 38 Msh at 95 watt for 520 EUR new and I am going to order another one of that if I am satisfied with this card how it performs in general. Just checked it does 42.25 Mhsh at 110 watt the 2060 super and is quite good for that price I think. It does up to 45mh, i have some of this cards. Same like the 2070. Good price for this card.

Hey guys! TON dual mining soon?
Use lolminer - it is not worth to implement it - its over in a few weeks.
|
|
|
A celeron or pentium is enough for more than 8 gpu´s. I have several rigs running with 12 or 13 gpus and a g3900 celeron. At the moment i planning a rig with over 20 gpu´s just for fun

Dear dev,
Please also engineer dualmining for Vega-s. I understand that HBM2 is rare and stuff, but... Lolminer dualmining solution for Vega-s is not effective..
They are working on it. Good things need time.

When ETH+TON ? Please hurry up! Your miner is the best for ETH!
i cant wait for it either. i am using trm but want to use phoenix asap. Lolminer 1.45 more choice dualmining Tondual or Alephdual eth + ton or Eth + Alephium / Etc + Ton or Etc + Alephium TRM is better for ETH+TON on AMD. But TON mining is not so profitable anymore. Rewards go down to 50% in 1 week and it ends in 2 month or so - depends on the increasing hashrate. I think in 1 month it is not worth to dual mine it - because of the higher power consumption.

1.45 Up - Ethash + Alephium dual mining mode
Wonder if devs are not using this forum any more, they missed to update 2 versions here.
lolliedieb is not very active on bitcointalk anymore. He think it is enough to write sometimes in the telegram group (you can´t find the link here) and he has a discord somewhere - but also no link to this.

Here is the board he is asking about: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H510%20Pro%20BTC+/index.asp#SpecificationIt uses the LGA1200 cpus If you click on support it gives a list of exact models of cpus supported. Looks like it supports gpus direct in slots and 1 off the special “usb” mining port for a single riser (no edge card needed just riser and usb cable). Looks like $210 ~ $230 prices are common. It shows usb3.1 ports under lan port connector or you can use the sata connector on front edge…or the m.2 space. I normally just run off a usb thumb drive but if you need ssd you can use the sata connecotr or the m.2 which ever you have. Thank you,I checked the motherboard to see where the f*ck that Sata 3 6 Gbps was and couldn't spot it,so I have to check again and I guess I saved about 75 EUR off the Nvme which I wanted to buy.I read a lot of people saying in forums and the manual that use the extra 4 pin connectors to provide more stability to your graphic cards but I intend to run 2 Corsair HX 1000 Gold PSU-s which I guess I don't need to do that, these PSU-s are far more than enough for my new setup of 2 x Rx 6800 XT,1 x Rx 5700 XT,1 x RTX 3060 ti,1 x RTX 2060 12 GB (will get it after 5 days when it comes) and 1 x GTX 1080 ti. Why an nvme? You can also add an normal m2 ssd in this m2 socket, 120gb cost around 15€ And by the way, an nvme ssd would not work in this m2 socket - because it is connected via sata and not via pcie. I used the SSD I already had but my question is now why it does not recognize Gtx 1080 ti although it comes green on the screen, the fans of the card spin and the lights are on,is this because I also have the Rtx 3060 ti in this board and I heard they conflict with each other, this is my issue right now. Yes but it must be corrected for others. M2 Sata SSD are not NVME SSD. LHR or non LHR? Did you tried the 3060ti alone? and add an 1080ti after the 3060ti is working? Did you change the pcie to gen1 in bios? If so change it to auto. You are using internal GPU for monitor? Did the bios recognize the card - check the bios hardware monitor

Its just two of those rx580 so the 650watt power supply is more than enough for every algorithms that you want to mine, on ETH those cards takes 80watts each = 160watts and on ravencoin those cards takes up to 120watts each = 240watts, still not even close to the half of 650watt power supply.
You are wrong. This cards need 120w for ETH - you can´t use the software reading for this - AMD only show the TGP in every software - so you must add around 30-40w to every card. Example - Teamredminer show 530w for one of my RX570 rigs - from the wall it is 880w. Same for Nvidia, but here you must only add around 10 - 20w per card to the software readings. Yes i know no one will hear this and no one will trust to my words, it is so annoying that so much people don´t trust to my words every time. But you lie to yourself if you think such software readings are the truth.

Ok you didn´t read anything from here. XD have fun Hey, let's give OP a chance! Next week, when OP gets the "software" on hand, he must be recorded it! OP, We're waitin' for your video to appear here! The next guy who didn´t read anything. THE MINER HAVE NOT ENOUGH SHARES FOR 17 HOURS OF MINING AND THIS HASHRATE. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT OR SHOULD I TRANSLATE IT FOR THAT YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS? It is no magic to make an "programe" to inflate the hashrates. PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID

I have two rx580 from 2017 that I use for gaming what type of power supply is enough to run these two graphic cards for mining? The old dead power supply was 650watt
depends on the algo you want to mine, but 650w is enough for 2 cards.

I will challenge you to find a card than runs cooler than Rx 6800 XT from Amd,it runs at 32-37 degrees Celsius with fan at 70% and find me now an Nvidia which does that with the same power settings,Nvidia run cooler only when you have put down to a great extent the power settings.
Both cards and both brands are good for mining, find the one suitable most to you and keep on mining.
My 6600XT run at 40C with 15% fan or sometimes fan off

You can use Ubuntu as it works well for what you are trying to do.It is not mining specific but it can easily be made to mine like I am doing at home with my 2 x GTX 1050 ti,and for the card that runs at 82 degree Celsius it is a small fan factor which is running inside my Z workstation that is why it stays 82 degree all the time. You just download the specific miner,in my case is T-rex because I am using Nvidia cards only at my home workstation. You edit the script files with your wallet and then run them with the command below for example to mine ETC: ./ETC-2miners.shThe latest version of Ubuntu automatically detect your cards most of the time so I think you should have no problems with it. 82°C isn't safe to say the truth, work on the thermal paste and thermal pad atleast to run the cards at lower temp, or run on hiveOS and downclock to use low power which will reduce the GPU temp effectively Or just to use a pushing fan because it seems to be a RIG so for sure, all graphic cards are close to each other. The last time I had this kind of t° on a graphic card, a flame appeared and burnt a component of the card... This is your fault. I have a rig with a RX570, this card running with 87C degress for over 1 year know, nothings happen. Cards can run with up to 120 degress without burning. Newer cards like the 3090 have mem temps up to 120C stock. It is running in 96 Degree now,I don't know how long it will last but I think it is a problem with the temperature sensor as the fans are running normally on the card, anyway it is not a rig,it is my home PC and nothing has happened during August which was a really hot month in here, now that the temperatures are 23 Degree Celsius I don't think it will start a fire, maximum it will die out as a card.As you have seen here MSI looks like a really strong brand that is supporting this temperature since August. 82C degress is to hot for an 1050ti, i have one without a fan an it is running at 65C while it mining. Change the thermal paste will help.

|
|
It depends on the card and what subvendor and so on, but no AMD not running hotter.

Agreed ETH+TON on TRM would be great. Anyone know if that's on the horizon?
Dual mining with TON implemented in latest version 0.92 but not working for me with pool.services.tonwhales.com. I tried this string: --ton -o stratum+tcp://pool.services.tonwhales.com:443 -u <ton wallet>.<worker name> -p x --ton_end Also tried to specify the dialect with "--ton_pool_mode=toncoinpool" Where you find this url stratum+tcp://pool.services.tonwhales.com:443 for the pool connection? The connection is https://server1.whalestonpool.com or i am wrong? EDIT: https://pool.services.tonwhales.comTeamredminer only supports 2 pools at the moment - stratum+tcp://ton.hashrate.to:4002 and stratum+tcp://pplns.toncoinpool.io:443/stratum Test with my 6900xt - 61mh on ETH and 5gh/s on TON | lolminer - ETH 61mh and 3,75gh/s on TON

My wife sometimes complains about 1 mining farm, because the fans are noisy, so the rest of the mining farm is in a different place. What motivation problems do you have if mining farms do not create problems? I believe that the price of cryptocurrency will rise, so I try to keep my mining farms always working. How can you get tired of a printer that prints money?
Agree. Should not be tired. However fear that 25 cents per GPU would be coming soon makes me sometime sad. What's there to be sad about ? Unless your electricity isn't cheap to keep up but still coins are gem they deserve to be treated in such manner, mine and hold is the true way of becoming a successful crypto miner. You have to learn so much dude. Successful miner is a miner who is happy with his mining. Not many people can buy gpu´s and mine for years without selling the coins. People must pay there bills, if you really hodl long term - buy coins is the right way. A personal Example: i started in 2017 at a ETH price of 50 dollar with equipment for 13000 dollar - 13000 / 50 = 260 ETH - do you think i mined 260 ETH in the last 4-5 years with this equipment? The answer is no and i had to pay electricity, burning riser or other defect stuff. Same for btc - btc price on my start 1200 dollar - we bought some 5x S9 for over 2000$, so 10000 / 1200 = 8.33 BTC and no this 5 S9 not making over 8 BTC in the last 5 years Maybe it is not the best timespan for such example - don´t miss understand me - i am happy with my crypto bags - this days i calculate my mining rigs wisely and in another way.

Are you looking for a used/2nd hand Antminer that could mine ETH? Bitmain doesn't release yet any miner that could mine ETH so you can't buy any 2nd hand ETH miner.
They have planning to release a new one this year but I don't think that you can buy it for $4000 I believe the price will be higher than that.
I don't mind mining BTC. Is it safe to buy used ones? i saw a few used Bitmain for like $2000. I'm seeing these Bitmain hashing 1500 Gh/s. Is it really 1500 Gh/s for $2000? I spent a lot of money on GPU rig and it’s hashing 1 GH/s. Sound too good to be true What? 1500Gh/s? You must read the description again - the Bitmain E9 is the only Miner from Bitmain for ETH at the moment this one do 3 Gh/s and the offers you saw, only fraud nothing more. Only buy on the official websites. I've been running GPUs for ETH mining for awhile now. I want to try something like Bitman type of miner for mining ETH this time in 240V. Which miners can you recommend that i get from Ebay shipped in USA for under 4000$?
You will never find a serious offer for ETH asic miner for under 4000$.

Sxemini that matrix port wallet is centralized wallet it shouldn't be on the list that you will be recommending a newbie, not your keys not your wallet, I believe the other three are better most especially that electrum one.
As i said, i have searched 10 seconds and my first one was the electrum wallet. Should i invest more time for other people to find something? No not really - i gave only that what i find in this short time.
