Not sure when ETH DAG will reach 6GB and we all know what will happened to all GPU that have 6GB memory onboard, also for 2000$ is not a good deal mate why not have patience and wait a while? ETH 2.0 is on the way which will cripple ETH mining reward a bit or more, wait till July and see what happens first
6Gb is enough for the next 2,5 years, so thats not the problem, but this cards are slowdown every new dag epoch, they need much power for today and you can sell it next year for only 50$ i think.

Building a mining rig with 6x GTX1060 6GB still makes sense in 2021? Or it's a very bad idea? Reason is I found a very cheap offer @2000$ for the rig, tell me what you think about this, good or bad?
2000$? It is a way to expensive? I have 30x p106 (it is the same card like 1060 6GB) and they running well, but i only paid 80$ for 1 gpu. If you get a rig with those cards for around 1500$ or less is a good deal, but 2000$ is no good deal in my opinion.

The benefits of using lolminer is that you are connected at the same time on both pools, so you don't go through a proxy, like you will have with PhoenixMiner, T-Rex or Gminer for example. Going through a proxy will increase stales and that will reduce your income. Working with lolminer you have 2 connections at the same time. One to the eth pool and another to the zil pool. Benefits no proxy and less stales
It is not an lolminer exclusive feature, Teamredminer can do this also but it is only for AMD. But mining direct over the rustpool proxy give more hashrate, if you use the dual stratum -> you loose time. I tested it with teamredminer -> the switch between the 2 stratums takes to long -> if you mine direct over rustpool -> more shares -> more average hashrate (reported 170mh - dual stratum poolhashrate 155mh - over proxy poolhashrate 162mh), i get the same amount on stale shares for both methods. Maybe someone can do a test long term (1 or 2 weeks maybe)

Actually, Ethermine has lowered their ETH pool minimum payouts. You used to receive payouts above 0.1 ETH every week and 0.05 ETH every two weeks. Now you receive daily payouts above 0.1 ETH and monthly payouts for balances above 0.01 ETH. You can also request a manual payout on a balance of >0.005 ETH and pay the transaction cost. They also support L2 Polygon network payouts to reduce mainet network load and transaction costs. https://ethpool.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/8000060967-ethermine-org-payout-policyOk dude please read the article you posted carefully next time. Ethermine not lowered the minimal payouts - they increased it a little bit. But adjust your payout threshold and all is fine - Monthly automatic payout on the 28th of each month for all balances above 0.01 ETH that have not received a payout during the last 21 days (network tx fee paid by the pool) - no payout after 2 weeks anymore. - no more payout after a week for balances over 0.1 ETH - daily payout can adjust from 0.1 - 10 ETH I guess you missed this part Ethereum Layer 1 (Gas limit: 100,000) -) Daily automatic payout of all balances above your configured payout threshold (10 - 0.1 ETH, network tx fee paid by the pool) -) Monthly automatic payout on the 28th of each month for all balances above 0.01 ETH that have not received a payout during the last 21 days (network tx fee paid by the pool)
-) Manual on demand payout of all balance above 0.005 ETH (network tx fee to be paid by the miner; only for non-custodial wallets (requires MetaMask signature))
Side-chain (Matic/Polygon) -) Daily automatic payout of all balances above 0.005 ETH (network tx fee paid by the pool)
We highly recommend smaller miners to use Polygon / Matic to receive their payouts promptly. That is in fact 20x lower than their previous minimum daily automatic payout of 0.1 ETH. Lol yes if you use polygon. But i correct your answer because it was wrong and nothing more. Read carefully and answer right And i am sure no one will payout 0.005 eth if their must pay the network fee it's only free with Polygon and not an option for me. -) Manual on demand payout of all balance above 0.005 ETH (network tx fee to be paid by the miner; only for non-custodial wallets (requires MetaMask signature))Side-chain (Matic/Polygon)-) Daily automatic payout of all balances above 0.005 ETH (network tx fee paid by the pool)

Where do you guys mine ETH?
Ethermine increase the minimum payout to 1ETH and monthly payout for above 0.01. Do you have any alternative for this pool for small miners?
You can change your payout treshold to 0.1 eth on ethermine, so i donīt understand the problem

For accuracy you must run at same time same gear same pool. if you mine today and tomorrow can be totally different earnings
Same GPU, same pool, same time. But i agree that g-miner less better then t-rex. And more stable. But i think that the difference more than TS counted.
Yes i agree, but thats nearly impossible and 1 or 2 days to compare is not enough in my opinion. Tests must run for a week or more. For me T-Rex and Gminer runs very stable and at the same reported speed. I think both are good and at nearly at the same level.

It's absolutely not scientific my approach only some data I collected and my intuitions. Thanks for the link, I'll read it. There are many points to look -> you compare pool effective poolhashrate or only the displayed miner hashrate?

Can anybody help me by telling me where I need to put the --mt command in t-rex? I have a 3080 and a 1080ti and I need the ethenlargementpill but to be honest I dont want to download it. I have had to wipe my computers multiple times because of that thing! What I mean specifically is do I need to run the command like this t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://us2.ethermine.org:4444 -u 0x2D2D29a18ad4deCD382CBcedEFb422FB97f30382 -p x -w --mt 1 rig0 pause or like this t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://us2.ethermine.org:4444 --mt 1 -u 0x2D2D29a18ad4deCD382CBcedEFb422FB97f30382 -p x -w rig0 pause or what is the correct way to give my 1080ti the --mt (it is gpu1 in case that information is vital) MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE! You can set --mt at every place - but your first one will not work with -w --mt 1 rig0 I prefer to set such things at the end of the commandline t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://us2.ethermine.org:4444 -u 0x2D2D29a18ad4deCD382CBcedEFb422FB97f30382 -p x -w rig0 --mt 1 The RTX3080 will ignore --mt 1 in every case.

Patrike,
Any plans to implement memory/hotspot temperature monitoring so we can see it at least in Windows version? Being able to set rules on these temps would be great for those of us with 3080/3090.
Thanks for your suggestion. I will have to investigate how to get access to these readings. I know GPU-Z and HWInfo64 can show it, but I've not yet found any details in the nVidia documentation how to actually read this value. Donīt forget AMD, it is also important on RX5x00 and RX6x00 series.

Fairly new to mining but been using PM. I'm now starting to dual mine ETH + ZIL on the Ezil.me pools. Does anyone know I have a RX580 for both and a gtx 1050 2GB that can mine ZIL. My question is if there is a way to use the RX while mining ETH and switch to both card for the ZIL change over?
Thank you
Yes i think you can do it with lolminer for example.

Thank you very much, but I'm already so used to working with a minus sign. I'm waiting for funny questions, like I set the value to 600 and my video card does not mine For old video cards, I think this will be a useless update, because you can't customize them better. And for new video cards, maybe yes. There is nothing magical about this because I'm able to get 61MH per 3070 with 117watts power draw I believe it all depends on your many times you are willing to find the best spot for your GPU using OC softwares, anyways HiveOS just makes the work alot easier HiveOS is definitely the best. Especially if you want to try doing dual mining. Naaaa I hate HiveOS, but i have also 2 Rigs running on HiveOS. It is not the best and every miner has his own preferences and please no battle about windows or linux I use windows with Awesomeminer and i set fixed core voltages on nvidia now for 3 years, so this is nothing new. I've talked about it for a while but nobody was interested. I set fixed vcore - powerlimit 100% (for stable coreclock) and adjust it + or - core clock. You can also set fixed clocks / voltages over nvidia smi

plz add amd 6800 6900 native kernel support plz
have error unable to set straps - unsupported GPU
What version of PhoenixMiner are you running, and what operating system? PhoenixMiner 5.6d(see first post for information), won't be the problem, but drivers could easily be the problem. last 5.6d win10 driver 21.3.1 miner work with error Use teamredminer and you get the best hashrate poolside. Tested and confirmed by so much people.

plz add amd 6700 6800 support
not planning to do it any time soon, sorry Don't forget to update to version 2.5 and get lowest 0.6% devfee in the industry !
Your problem is not devfee Do you have any issues with the miner? Yeah updates to slow is the bigget issue -> no support for amd 6x00 series. Does it support RTX cards?

scam ??

TRM doesn't work with the green card that I have in the same rig. And its 1 % so more than LoL But you are right for rustpool, may be its better than shardpool ( haven't tested yet), but both are much better then ezil
I know that TRM is only for AMD -> but that was not the message. Use T-Rex miner and only rustpool direct -> give more than lolminer with 2 connections -> because the switch needs to much time and hashrate is shortly decreased -> only mining direct over the rustpool proxy give more overall hashrate. Lol you see the screenshot on your link? How much fee you see in this picture? Right 0.65% for ethash!!!! Read carefully next time. Donīt use such outdated sites like cryptomining-blog and look at the developers page if you donīt know the right fee!!!!!

Trying to get ahold of @kidkid1 for Hiveos integration. Don't have telegram. Any other way?
Then install telegram, it is used by many guys for giving support and so on. But i donīt think that hiveos will integrate this, zilliqa is not so important for many other.

Ive been playing around with various CPU mining, pools and programs and Im not leaning more towards HiveOS. I've have been mining on Zergpool for a few months however and I would like to setup HiveOS top work with my existing wallet setup with Zergpool.
I tried creating a few fight sheets but the miner keeps failing and complains about a parameter is incorrect. I haven't found much online for my use case. im using the SRBMiner, exactly what i used with Awesome miner and that's working fine.
Im guessing im entering the command lines incorrectly but I cant see where or how to correct it.
this is the parameters zergpool states
-a verthash -o stratum+tcp://verthash.na.mine.zergpool.com:4534 -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=BTC,mc=VTC
this is what I have in the flight sheet adn teh coin is set to BTC
RBMiner-MULTI configuration Hash algorithm: verushash Wallet: 4GpgP1s2ZbcE9785RNbHjcEtrh1JVUU1Gz7G Worker name: BRIck012 Pool server:port stratum+tcp://verthash.na.mine.zergpool.com:4534 Pass:x Plugin and device configs:-a verthash -o -p c=BTC,mc=VTC
Plugin and device configs: -a verthash -o -p c=BTC,mc=VTC
Lol verushash or verthash verthash makes no sense with your cpu and for verushash you using total wrong config and server Why -o? Delete this and why you set mc=VTC? is not needed because there is only 1 coin that use verushash.
