keep in mind, over 140000 btc was released on 15.12.20 ,after the Mt. Gox Exchange Scam from 2014. So you can believe, many of this coins will be sold i think, because this coins was frozen from 2014.
This can dump the market. I think we go under 18000$ in january.

Hi Patrike,

i have many problems with new mining software, the download needs to much time. If i download normal in browser it needs 1 sec, if i start to download it over AM, it needs up to 1 hour sometimes to start it again. Mostly at srbminer multi, T-Rex or Teamredminer for me. But this happens sometimes, not every time i tried. So i canīt reproduce this  Huh
Hi,
Can you please check the Remote Agent log file and verify that it's the actual download operation that takes time, or something else?
When a download is initiated you will see "Downloading file". Example:
2020-12-11 10:39:31.691 [008] []Downloading file: https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases/download/0.19.3/t-rex-0.19.3-win-cuda11.1.zip?u=67792375

As you can see, Remote Agent adds a random parameter (?u=67792375) to the URL, to prevent any caching. If you make a download speed test via the web browser to compare the speed, please add something similar to avoid caching.

When a download has completed, you will see "Download done". Example:
2020-12-11 10:39:42.238 [008] []Download done: C:\Users\test\AppData\Roaming\AwesomeMinerService\t-rex-0.19.3-win-cuda11.1.zip

In this example it was a 10.5 second download for 22MB. Do you see very a very long duration between these two log lines?

What I can see from time to time is when a new mining software version is released, it typically results in slower download speeds when many users are hitting the Github download sources.

Hi Patrike,

if i checked many scenarios and i add random parameter to my download in browser. Sometimes it download normal and sometimes it slowdown to 1kb/s. But i think this is problem with github or other hosters. So i think all ok at the moment.

Can you take a look in Nanominer and verushash? Can you add it to the standard definition. I added it manually, but i canīt see cpu temp, hashrate is only show in performance colume, nothing in cpu or gpu tab. And W/h is not shown for CPU and Nanominer.

Another bug:

Poolbalance Nanopool XMR -> Balance 0,66 xmr -> Balance in Euro 116000€ for example

I think there is a problem in calculating the right Balance in €/$. But sometimes, it show the real Balance in €/$.

Lets say hello to  lolMiner 1.17 (LINK)

Was some longer coding this time since the re-coding of Navi codes took some serious time.
But I like the result and hope to bring it to other cards as well in the future. We will see how it works out there Smiley

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a good start into 2021.
Try to stay healthy!

Windows Version?

Read First note on link...

Note:

Windows version will be posted once the signing process is done

Ah ok thanks  Shocked Cheesy shame on me

MangoCoin no trading volume

Taona Coin is dead, or where can you trade?

Veil and RandomX? RandomX is a CPU algo, so how can you do so much with your GPU? Hashrate is around 450 - 500 hashes, a R5 Ryzen 1600 can do over 4200 hashes.

Veriblock have no trading volume.

987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: POC Algorithm on: December 16, 2020, 09:59:06 AM
Mining with hdd will costs you more in short time because they can't handle 24/7 work all day, in very short time some HDD will die on you, graphic cards are more rugged and can handle massive heats thanks to their cooling system but not hard drives, many new projects don't use this Algorithm anymore so it doesn't make sense to expect much

Why they canīt handle 24/7 mining? thats wrong. My HDD miners run over 1 year without any restart. HDDīs make no heat, so that also no point.

You can mine CHIA, it is new PoC Project. You can also use HDD for mining Filecoin or Storj. This give good profits.

- In PCH Config/PCI Express Config, I changed PCIe Speed to "Gen2"

This settings you donīt need. I never changed PCIE to Gen2 or 1. All say we must do this, my rigs run well with Gen3 for several years.

Change riser even if it's new.

991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: which coin to mine with GTX 1060 mining rig for long term profit on: December 12, 2020, 02:29:19 PM
Hi guys i have mining rig with GTX 1060 6gb graphic cards. I want you please suggest me which coin should i mine for long term like 2 to 3 year. Also i was mining RVN coin but it seems it just go below ground and keep dig. Thanks in advance please reward me with your best advise .
Most gtx1060 graphic cards have 3gb VRAM and they are also near obsolete for mining today, it's going to be a pain in the ass for find mining softwares that still supports gtx1060 cos many have abandoned this card, the best thing you can do is to download XMRIG for RandomX Algorithm, it should work for mining Monero but don't expect good profits, most gains will be going to electricity fee

There are much coins for 3GB cards and he has a 6GB card by the way  Roll Eyes
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I built my first mining rig and it cant mine ANYTHING, please help :) on: December 12, 2020, 02:24:08 PM
There is no new software upgrades on miners for gtx970 cards anymore, you will definitely get some kind of error message when trying to run miners using this cards, try nicehash miner it will automatically scan for the perfect algorithm you can mine with gtx970, that is if any is available

Wrong

MiniZ miner has kernel for the gtx970, lolminer also have kernels for the gtx 970. You can mine equihash_192,7 for example, beam also works.

@tarker12

You donīt say what os you use, what miner you tried, we have no glass sphere  Roll Eyes
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [FIX] Latest Nvidia drivers version 460.79 - NVML patcher on: December 12, 2020, 01:37:13 AM
If you are mining on Windows and unlucky enough to install recent Nvidia drivers 460.79, then you want to use our simple NVML patcher.
Usage is simple: Just close down every application/driver control panel that can use NVML, then run the .exe file.
After that you can continue to mine with any miner without a reboot. Enjoy.

Download: https://static-ssl.minerstat.farm/miners/windows/nvmlpatch.zip

Why would I want to install this fix instead of older driver? just curious, tnx for the work anyway

Hi Patrike,

New Miniz miner version out 1.6x
I've pushed an update for this one yesterday. I also noticed their web site was unavailable from time to time yesterday, probably because the high traffic following the new release.

Yes i see.
I add -avg1 180 to have the real hash showing in Awesomeminer. This option change the 3h average in 3min average.
Another question is, why AM only show whole numbers for hashrate and the MiniZ api gives for example 17.45 and AM show 17.00. Can you change this?
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.12.0 NVIDIA GPU miner with web monitoring page and auto-updates on: December 10, 2020, 12:12:00 PM
Getting error: WARN: WATCHDOG: T-Rex does not exist anymore, restarting...

T-rex 0.19.1 CUDA10

Just updated to NVIDIA drivers 460.79, Windows 10 x64; was working well with the previous driver version.

Nvidia changed some things in new driver. Why you update? Newer driver bring not more hashrate. I canīt understand why all people update the driver if a new one is released.

Hello guys... I need some help here.

I switched my gpus (gtx 1070 8gb) to ETH after a long time, and what I see is some strange behavior. It seems that hashrate is low, and memory overclock doesn't have any effect.
What I was able to google out is that apparently when there is more than 50% of 1070's gpu memory utilized it starts to behave strangely. When I try mining ETC everything is normal (sure ETC have DAG size much lower, after fork).
So mining ETC I am able to get 33 MHs at 90W, while
mining ETH I get 28 MHs at 115W ... you see my despair Cheesy ... also mining ETH overclockin core have positive effect on hashrate, while overclocking memory doesn't have any impact - which is not normal for ethash.

I was not able to find any solution to this.
So is there any workaround this issue?
Thanks for your help Wink Cheers

Here i give you a reminder. My answer for you in the Phönixminer Thread

it is normal for the Nvidia Pascal GPUīs (all gtx 10x0) This cards slow down with every new DAG epoch, same HARDWARE bug as the AMD R9 290 and R9 390 had in the past.
So there is no solution. You can check this, if you benchmark ETH in Epoch 0 and Epoch 400 for example.

My P106 cards do 26mh at the beginning, now i am down to 24mh.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: December 10, 2020, 09:31:33 AM
I also tested T-Rex (cuda 10.0 and 11.1) and Gminer, both are not working with the new Nvidia driver. The latest stable is 457.51. The windows version doesn't matter, tested with 1909 and 2H20. Its all the same crap.

The other question is, why you update to newest driver? It is not need, newer driver donīt bring better performance. So stay on the driver that is working.
Much people talk about problems with nvidia 460 driver, because there is something changed, some files moved to other folders.

I do some research today.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 10 RX570 vs 5 gtx1660ti on: December 10, 2020, 09:25:47 AM
You have to plan for the future whenever you are planning to build a mining rig, the reason why RX570 and RX580 are still Profitable today is Ethereum and now Ethereum have gone POS, within few more months hopefully the conversion to POS will be completed, after that your RX cards will be less Profitable, the gtx1660 super and ti have better future because they are still Profitable mining other algorithms

Phase 0 of ETH POS need around 18 - 24 month, and you can mining up to phase 2 or something like this. At the end you can mine ETH for next 3 - 4 years and longer. Buy RX 570 8GB and you can mine for long time.

Hi, I have this weird problem, on a 6 card RIG, 4 of the cards gives me a hashrate of 20mh/s (down from 27mh/s, they are 4gb cards so I think it is that), but the 5th card gives me 30 mh/s, but poolside it is 500kh/s. The 6th card is a vega which gives me 42mh/s. Any ideas why this should be? It does not matter how I swap out the cards, which card is used for display or anything. Also tried the whole eth_epoch 274,274,274,274,273 etc.

Hi!

What OS and Drivers are you using?

I had the same bug, only a visual bug. Card has not enough Vram for ETH, this card only hash with 0 - 2 mh. I had this problem on 2 of 10 rigs, all with same OS win10 and driver 19.7.4.
I donīt why 1 card has not enough vram, display gpu is the integrated gpu and all cards the same for me. I checked gpu z and i see that one gpu use more vram as the other cards.  Huh

But i think it is not a miner problem, same is happen with lolminer for example.

Hi, am using Win10 with newest Adrenaline drivers. Mine is fine on other miners, but I like TRM. The giving <1mh/s is not the display gpu, seeing as I also use integrated gpu. And I do not think it is the VRAM issue, because if I swap that card out with another the other card, ALWAYS the LAST 4gb card gives me <1mh/s

It is vram  Roll Eyes i have checked it, and in my rigs it was the 6. card. I donīt know why people donīt believe such things, i have tested, controlled and i am not a noob, but yeah do what you do, you will never find a solution.

I wrote, i donīt know why, but one gpu (always the 6. gpu) has not enough vram. check it by yourself or leave. why are so many people so ignorant
