To make NEM successfull you need to answer the ultimate question. Why should anyone (private NOR commercial) use NEM instead of Bitcoin? If you can answer this, assure everyone about this an spread the word. That's the only way to make NEM successful and independent.
This can also be said for 99% of other alts. We need time and marketing, so do alot of other coins, NXT is lacking in this area too, but we just need time. |

I'm sure that dumping groups will need 2-3 waves until they have the money to pump it to the moon. I'm not a member of such a group, it's just what i guess about... Maybe there isn't even such a big dump before it continues going up... Yes, you are 100% right. Nobody knows what gonna happen... except whales, devs and people with inside info. Cryptomarket is like Wall Street just a smaller cap and maybe less scammers than wall street. The reality is that none market can move only by traders, because traders are like cattle, they just buy and sell in panic, so whales are necessary for to move the market, ofc that they do it for to make money, whales never lose money in this game, because they have alot of inside info, large market share, etc.. This game is only for people with inside info and big pockets, so mate, do not be fooled because whales are the only one that make too much money here, ofc there are some exceptions and you can make some real money playing on crypto, but the poor will always be poor in 95% of cases, sad but true. your probably right, i like your name!  |

Also, I just started reading the NEM whitepaper. Gotta say it's probably one of the prettiest and most well organized whitepapers I've ever seen.  Yes beautifully written ... nice to see price and volume picking up as well! It's falling.. nem droppeded  Lol, you really have nothing better to do? Someone said here that you were a Nem supporter until the Nem team caught up with your sockpuppet accounts. Everyone visiting any exchange will see that Nem/Xem has been going up since the release of the technical reference. Yes we have been making slow steady gains over the last couple of days. NEM has already proven to be the biggest launch of 2015 and things are only just getting started... |

And take a look at Stability shares (XSI) right now as an example of how a dead coin can be revived!
I held a small amount for the last 12 months, i bought them at under 1 cent and cost me around $40 NZD.
I had completley forgotten about this coin as the devs who took over abandoned it once more and i considered it dead, now all of a sudden the chinese are interested in it and i sold them for 0.4BTC which is more than double i paid for them!
It just shows how coins are not dead even though they appear so.

Price isn't everything at this point, but it's going up, and will continue to go up. I've been right so far, but this is an easy one to see. IMHO of course.
At launch the price was over 100. It went down all the way to around 55 a week later. It went up o 72 on April 27. Today it's close to 68, so what exactly are you are right about? This isn't much difference After the initial dip the line is going up. This is what I meant by "overall". That is what I'm saying. Its going up, and will continue to go up OVERALL IMHO. There may be quick peaks or quick dips, but I BELIEVE that we will see steady progress upward. The NEM devs are not flashy and pumping NEM, they are quietly working and making improvements. This is why I think we will see slow, but steady gains. The gains are solid and not based on artificial pumps. This is why I am big on NEM. This is not an attack on Nxt, the coin you are obviously big on. I personally like them both. I like both and have invested in both, price dropped because people panic sold after launch, in turn creating a dump, but it was not as hard a dump as i expected, price is stable and climbing back to a good solid level. I too dont like it when devs try and pump up their coin, or where announcements of new features are needed to pump the price, im after solid devs with solid work behind them, and thats why im happy to be part of NEM. |

There is progress still being made, but i dont know the full details, but what i can tell you is that there is work being done and I am guessing there will probably be a ninja release. |

For me, it doesn't matter what price bitcoin is, as long as there are services that accept it.
I won't mind if bitcoin hits $10 or even $1, if people still offer the same services they offer today, I'm happy.
If bitcoins does hit $1 i'm sure there won't be any services anyway, with only a $21M marketcap.
If there was that many services accepting it, naturally the marketcap would be alot higher than what it has ever been. Adoption and acceptance is key to the success of any cryptocurrency. |

Anyway, serious projects like NXT, NEM and ethereum will pave the way of the future and leave BTC for dead as the dinosaur that it already is.
Aha there has been attempts the last 4-6 years to create a new better crypto which moons because that seems to be all people care about. Nothing has come close and I doubt ever will especially them things you speak of By things I mean crapcoins. Don't you think nxt has had a nice amount of time to become highly successful? 100% premine controlled by a few players! No thanks. OP it doesn't matter how low it goes there will always be believers, as long as the difficulty gets reduced the lower it goes I see no problem with the price it was cents once before, also if it went to a few dollars the pumps would be epic goldmines. Just shows you dont know a thing about NXT, 1, because there was no premine, 2, anyone had the chance to invest in the IPO, but most declined the offer and now are sore about their poor decision and naturally are trolls. |

While I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of another coin surpassing BTC at some point in the future, it seems unlikely and also I don't know if it would be any of the current alt coins out there. The masses aren't technically minded and will probably jump on something recognisable, like if a well known company launched their own coin. I'm imagining something horrible like Googlebucks or Microsoftcoin. Also, if ethereum wants to be taken seriously, it needs to hurry up and stop looking like vapourware. It's about to be made obsolete by coins that are not only turing-complete, but will also be able to trade directly from one block chain to another without using a centralised exchange. If I had bet anything on ethereum, I'd be getting pretty worried about now. I didnt invest in Ethereum because of that, but its possible it may be a success if it does what they claim. Im a big believer in NXT and i have also invested in NEM incase that succeeds. 99% of the alts are crap, or just driven by hype. Whatever is successful will be whatever coin can work around the flaws in blockchain technology, which there are quite a few issues that need to be addressed. Blockchain pruning is one such example that i would like to see implemented in addition to instant transactions for POS use. |
