lol no one has had to tell me that! The writing has been on the wall for ages, and all the poor BTC holders who have been holding on to it for so long and dont want to look outside the square will be burnt badly... Anyway, unlike bitcoin that has little or no innovation, we have marvellous projects such as NEM that will address all the issues BTC currently has. |

NEM has brilliant coders like Next but the worst Marketing in Crypto...
Today Crypto is not on TOP news big investors time will come with next BTC bubble for me this is not so far ahead becouse there is a lot data that Central banks are printing "adding 0" to balances so time with fial currency collapse is comming, then people will look for Gold then silver but in stock there will be any availbe so people will look for BTC as alternative asset which will protect you from inflation. Personally i belive in that "QE"- printing money by central banks will lead people to BTC and then some people will seek for alternativs and NEM have HUGE rise pottencial. Then not much marketing is needed. Marketing is mostly needed when you want sell overpriced product amd need money for developing. So far i see NEM have great coders and is worth to stick with it. I think that NXT could be alot better with more marketing too. However its better to show the proof of the pudding rather than hype up a currency because of its features etc. Let people see how good it is for themselves and people will spread the word if its that amazing! |

OK some explanation on what is happening at Prelaunch of DarkSilk.
1. Thread will be started on Bitcointalk (unmoderated)
2. All systems will be built and ready for zero hour
3. Mining pools will be made ready with just wallets to be installed, again ready for zero hour
4. Exchanges will be notified and markets arranged
5. Website and all Guides and FAQs will be live and readily available prior to zero hour.
How long will it be after launch when the weaver will be operational? I believe it will be possible to swap our SILK for DRKSLK is this correct? |

Im totally over the FUD, they are trying so hard because they know what a good platform NEM really is and are butthurt because they never invested. We win hands down over ethereum!  |

Im all for a symbol here too but this doesnt mean that the writing "drkslk" cant be stylised into a logo of its own if you know what i mean. |

What caused the price drop?
BTC went doesn and everything follows. Not exactly a new paradigm. in fact xem went down many days before btc dropped so btc was actually not the issue. I think,some people dumped XEM to buy Etherum. BTC has crashed because of BTC XT, perhaps they should look to NEM instead? |

i like the look of it too its simple and recognizable  Yes, looks much better, i was thinking i could make a version with each half in two seperate colours. (a bit like the yin/yang) one side could be dark, ie, black, and the other side a silky purple like colour? |

 It's a scorpion in the shape of an S. Unfortunately I'm no graphic designer either. After looking carefully, I can already make out the shape of the letter D with its pinchers. We would have to create a new design based on its shape though as its not a design that is unique to us. |

sweet looks great! No, it does not. It looks like D - C - S -P I am horrible at art but I am fairly certain I could come up with a better logo than this one. If this becomes the logo I will not buy. The logo needs to show class not a half-ass job. Thank you. Its supposed to be the letter D "woven" into the letter S At the end of the day i dont think many of us are graphic designers or professionals in photoshop. I have a full time job and am only putting together this concept in my spare time, ill tweak it some more, but it does look like a rather interesting symbol. What do you think of this? Ill make a more refined version if it looks any better, and ignore the fonts and colours, those can be changed.  |

I played with nzminer's logo a bit.  HORSESHIT LOGO!!! I think you can do better than this. I like it. Just quite big. Lol. I have to agree with Foghorn... Logo doesn't look very professional. I know I should be the last person here to criticise anyone's work as I do not have the skills myself to do better so I apologise in advance if someone gets offended. Imho logo should be clean, tidy and simple and as somebody else has said it doesn't need to have DarkSilk written or a DS. Only my 2 cents ... BTW, has the camel been put to sleep? I thought it was all about the camel and now I can't see one anywhere  Its more like a symbol kust like BTC has their's. It doesnt have to be 3D and the large size probably makes it terrible. We already have a new silkcoin logo, its been posted here earlier... |

This looks cool but imo there's too much going on. The U feels open and uninviting. Keep it simple like the bitcoin symbol or the batman symbol. A symbol that represents DarkSilk not necessarily says DrkSlk. Something connected, something attached, something weaved. Yes well thats what i did with my logo. Anyway, i think his one could accompany the logo i designed quite well with just the text without the giant U in that font he has used. |

Updated logo  Me lickey If you connect the s within the d you can almost see the DRKSLK all together as one And the nfinity symbol Or I'm just really hi ;o) lol I created that "nfinity" symbol by basically turning the S around 90 degrees and overlaying it over the D! |
