Both Al-Nassr and Al-Itthad play very well. In the first half, Al-Itthad played quite well but in the second half, Al-Nassr turned out to be good, made some good passes, and won the game with a pretty good score of 5-2. LOL, Ronaldo scored both of his penalty shots and made himself one of the top scorers in 2023, with 53 goals behind Killyan Mbappe. Now currently Cristiano Ronaldo's has become the highest goal scorer of 2023. He scored 53 goals out of 58 appearances. This is quite good at the age of 38.

Let's talk about the match. Both teams played very well, but at the end of the match, Al Nassr made some beautiful football and won the match 5-2 against Al-Itthad.
Guys, what do you think? Does Al-Nassr deserve to win the game or not? Give us your thoughts. Thanks, good night!
It was a match in which both teams competed well and goals were scored. Frankly, it was enjoyable. It's nice to watch Benzama on one side and Ronaldo on the other. He made some nice accurate shots in the penalty kicks today, he is still trying to do his best, so it would be strange not to be respected. Mane put on a show in the match, scoring two amazing goals in a row in the second half.

I don't know if it is normal how many penalties the players score relative to the total number of goals they score. Ronaldo has 19 goals and 6 via penalty. Mitrovic has 16 goals and 6 via penalty. N'Koudou has 14 goals and 4 via penalty. That is close to 1/3 being scored via penalty by the top scorers. It sounds like a lot, but I have never looked into it in detail.

Benzema is nothing compared to Ronaldo although he does at least score a higher portion of his goals from within the game, not from the penalty spot.

The gap between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal is still huge though.

De Zerbi will go to Manchester City, next year or in the next 2 years.

Guardiola already "announced" him.
Lol, Pep is still around and he doesn't look set to leave City anytime soon, though anything can happen and Pep could leave earlier than he planned to, but we'll have to wait and see how things pan out. Roberto De Zerbi is doing a great job with Brighton and his pattern of playing is somewhat similar to what City play under Pep's management, so it is possible that he might one day succeed Pep, but quite a lot of things can happen from now until then, so don't be sure things will pan out in the way you predict it.
I think if Pep doesn't want to go, Manchester City management won't send him. If the city of Manchester is remembered with the blue team today, it is thanks to Pep. His reading of the game is at a high level. Even though they fell behind with some questionable referee decisions, they can become a candidate for the championship again with a winning streak like last year.

Don't forget that Manchester City is two games behind Liverpool and Aston Villa. If they win both of those games, they are sitting at 40 points, which I think would not look as bad as it does now without those two games having been played. But surely, they first have to stand the test and win those games.

I agree that Manchester City would probably allow him to have a bad season although I think the Champions League qualification would always be the minimum requirement. But it is an interesting question what Manchester City would do if they were about to finish the season out of the top 4. I would like to know that Cheesy

If there was another VAR incident to the detriment of Liverpool I think Klopp will die from a heart attack after the game when he gives his press conference. They haven't had very good experiences with the VAR recently if you know what I mean. Wink

But the game is a top game, both having their chances but now it is nearing the end and it seems this game might be won by a lucky punch. I was quite sure we would get to see at least two more goals during the second half, but somehow it's not gonna happen until now. But there are advantages for Liverpool as they are trying harder.

Yeah, I still remember the goal that wasn't given to Liverpool in the Tottenham game. Diaz scored a legit goal but it was disallowed anyway. A very short time after there was a statement by the referees body PGMOL that it was a mistake made there about the offside call. But it was too late. Liverpool still have to deal with the referees on one hand.  Sad

By the way that big goal chance wasted by Trent Alexander-Arnold could cost Liverpool too much. Because that could have been the winner.

As the title race is really tight none of the contenders have much luxury of wasting goal chances like this.

And it doesn't stop there! Cheesy

"LIVERPOOL FANS FUME AS VAR DENIES REDS TWO GOALS VS BURNLEY"

Honestly, I don't know what's going on with Liverpool, but they are really in the center of attention when it comes to decisions by the referees being questionable. It is Liverpool and Liverpool and again Liverpool whenever you read something about problems with referees in the Premier League. Cheesy Now again against Burnley. But it didn't have any bad consequences for them. Otherwise this topic would be huge again.

In Brazil they respect the superstar player too much and even if they have weak performances for some months, people still lose the players, Neymar is a known and famous superstar player in Brazil, and people in this country want to see him play for their team. However, he has been really disappointing so far and I think Brazil can start investing on younger players they have in this country instead of hoping for an old player like him.

Neymar is an amazing player if he had some more resilience on the pitch and was less prone to injuries. The problem I have with Neymar is that he comes across as if a lot outside of soccer means more to him than the sport. I am not talking about family or something, but lifestyle and all the other shit like parties. Some people are more prone to injuries than others, but if a superstar like him doesn't live the superstar style that gives him maximum recovery health, I can't feel sorry for him when he gets disregarded over time. What a great player he can be. But heroic worship Neymar receives from the fans will probably soon come to an end as he couldn't deliver what they were wishing for.

Although Real Madrid's attacking players have been inconsistent in their performances, Bellingham's excellent performances have led Real Madrid to great results in the Champions League. Bellingham has 4 goals and 3 assists in 5 games. If Bellingham can play well against Leipzig, Madrid will have more chances to win. But it is very difficult to beat a strong team like Leipzig depending on Bellingham's performance alone. I am just looking forward to see a competitive match. I will refrain myself from betting on this match.
It cannot be denied that Bellingham is a player who is able to make a difference in the game and final results in several Real Madrid matches this season, including the Champions League match. Ancelotti relies heavily on Bellingham and asks him to score goals, but what happens if Bellingham ends up suffering a serious injury?

On the one hand, Leipzig is not a strong opponent in the Champions League as admitted by some Real Madrid fans. However, Real Madrid cannot underestimate Leipzig in the knockout rounds because if they make the slightest mistake, Real Madrid will have to fight hard at home. Leipzig is good, but I personally don't think Leipzig will thwart Real Madrid's run in the Champions League this season.

I don't think it is as if Ancelotti were to ask Bellingham to score goals. I think it is more that out of a sudden Bellingham assumed that responsibility in a way nobody expected it. And when he repeatedly scored against all expectations for the 10th time, for the 15th time, everyone understood they can rely on him, which is what he is there for now. An injury would indeed change a lot of things within the team.

Real Madrid is in a great position as they first play in Leipzig. That is the game where they have to make sure to not get caught by surprise. If they can handle the pressure that I expect from Leipzig, I think Real Madrid is a huge favorite here with the second leg being their home game.

I think what will keep the rivalry alive are the matches between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. The scores in these matches will directly affect the championship. In addition, the performance of teams such as Frankfurt and Dortmund, which can prevent them, will also be decisive. I would like Bayer Leverkusen to win. The championship needs a change now.

I think that indeed the biggest hurdle for Leverkusen for the moment is to get back out of the Christmas break and win the first game against Augsburg. The interruption seldomly benefits teams like Leverkusen when they are running like clockwork. If they can get out of the break and instantly beat Augsburg, it would be so important for the rest of the season. Psychologically I am a bit afraid because Bayern starts into the second half of the season with a home game, which they are unlikely to tie or lose. This could create some negative momentum, but of course I hope for Leverkusen to continue with their impressive performances.

Burnley and Liverpool match is on right now and Liverpool is taking the lead with 0:1 goal courtesy of D. Núñez who scored in the sixth minute. There is so much tension in this game as Burnley is also showing some awesome display despite conceding early goals so let's see how the first half gonna end but I see another goal coming from either side before the end of half time because the pressure by both clubs is getting serious.
The game is getting to an end, and Liverpool is still leading, winning the game 0-1, and with their current performance on the pitch, I will say that Liverpool will win the game because Burnley are not really showing like the team who wants to equalize the game. If Liverpool did not add goals, they will surely go with this one goal and claim their three points, and three points is what really matters most. Currently, Liverpool is the team leading the Premier League table with a two-point difference with Arsenal, but if Arsenal is able to win their matches against West Ham, Liverpool will still be in second place.

That was a solid win for Liverpool and they defended well as they didn't allow any serious attempts from Burnley, but I think Klopp was wishing for an earlier second goal. Liverpool often keeps the game open for too long in my opinion. The second goal was the nail in the coffin for Burnley, but still the timing was pretty late.

I need to get used to the fact that Manchester City is in 5th position, it really looks wrong! Tongue But I like it how the table is now. We have this surprise team Aston Villa and then some good and strong contenders for Manchester City to not make the season boring. There's everything it needs for a great season.

According to media reports, Edin Dzeko is injured and did not train. According to some reports, he might not play in the derby on Sunday. Of course, the final situation will be known after the MRI, but the news is not very good. He is 37 years old, but he has a very good performance. He has 12 goals and 4 assists in 15 games this season. He is at the top of the scoring charts. In games without him, our offense is weakened. If he doesn't play in the derby, I think our chances against Galatasaray will decrease.
He played in the derby on Sunday and was not very productive. Not only Dzeko, but also Icardi fell short of expectations. Galatasaray away fans were allowed for the first time in 5 years. While I was expecting an interesting derby, it turned out to be a boring derby. It ended 0-0 and the leader is still Fenerbahçe. They will meet in Saudi Arabia for the Super Cup match on Friday.

The Super Cup much is probably not as frenetic. I thought that this game is going to be crazy in the league, but during the game both teams acquired a taste for the draw. It wasn't what I expected, a fight until the last minute. The only count that went up towards the end of the game was that of yellow cards. But other than that it was extremely boring! FOr the whole game there was one single shot on target by Galatasaray, zero shots on target for Fenerbahce. I am sure that if we look into the past 50 games, this has never happened before. All the stats were really bad and the game didn't enfold the expected action.

Everyone is probably looking forward to the comeback of the year 2024 when Rafael Nadal steps onto the Australien Open court. I was trying to find out which tournament he will play in preparation of the Australian Open. Does anyone know what his first games will be? I think people around the world will watch those games with a little bit of skepticism, hoping that he doesn't have to give up or something. That fear that he has to step back during the tournament even when he wins his games until the quarterfinals or something is also there. But it would be great to see a fully healthy Nadal in 2024 and have him compete with Djokovic like in good old times.

I think PSG's defense is not that good, but even so, it is very difficult for other teams to compete with PSG. PSG is far above the other teams in the league both in terms of quality and financial power.

PSG started the season badly but over time they started to play better. I criticized PSG a lot at the beginning of the league but now they are playing better football. So I won't criticize them too much.

Nice currently have 35 points and they are 5 points behind PSG. They cannot close this points difference easily. As the league progresses, PSG is less likely to lose points. The players and the team are adapting more and more to each other and they are winning series. I can say that Nice will have a difficult task to follow PSG.

That's one important point about the game of PSG. It is not that important how many goals they concede since they will most of the time score around 2.5 goals per game. It doesn't sound all that much, but the difference is that a team like Nice scores 1 goal on average and if they concede 1 goal the 3 points are gone. PSG can just rely on their offensive game and if it doesn't work out one day, the other teams first have to win their games, which isn't always the case. PSG would need a contender who can win ten consecutive games in order to put them under pressure.

Ajax who started the season very poorly with conceding so many goals and not having much win ratios, But over the past 2 months we can see how this team has risen so well from below average to sitting in 5th position which shows how much work this coach has put in this team, he really tried in bringing the best out of his boys and now they're performing as expected and I believe they'll maintain their good form and finish in a better spot on the standings, even though they don't come close to winning the tournament.

Yes, the UCL spot might be out of reach but they’re trying so hard to get an European qualification and that’s achievable especially with their wide range of experience , AZ Alkmaar won’t be a match to this Ajax as they’ll sure slip and Ajax could get serious and pick their spot.

I was perplexed when I saw how this heavy weight from the Eredivise was doing during the early season. But now the season is over for them in terms of the title and the best they can try is to find their spot somewhere in the top four. But this phase of weakness demonstrates that it will be brutally punished by a team like PSV Eindhoven. They have really made clear from day 1 that such a catastrophic failure will end the season early for Ajax Amsterdam in respect of the title race. 23 points and 18 games to go is impossible to make up for. I didn't see it often that the season in a domestic league essentially had its title winner after 16 games. Tongue

Having Lukaku back in the team and in the shape he is currently in is never bad of course, but the really decisive scenes in this game were the red cards. Those cards pulled the rug under Napoli's feet.

Lukaku got his goal, which helps him to quickly get back to normal and nobody cares whether he scored that against 9 Napoli players or 11 Napoli players. But for Napoli the tendency for the moment is bad and stopping it is hard.

in the Roma Napoli match we understand many things, the first being that Roma are now great but that Lukaku is dependent, for better or worse I don`t judge. The second is that Napoli are very nervous, their nerves are on edge, perhaps Mazzarri should work on this before working on tactics. My opinion

Lukaku is dependent, I think I don't know what you mean by that. Do you mean that Roma is dependent on Lukaku or do you mean that Lukaku is only playing for Roma as a loan player and has to go back to Chelsea if they can't finalize a deal? It is weird because for Lukaku there is only uncertainty all the time. If Chelsea should get a new coach because Pochettino gets sacked during the season or at the end of it, maybe the new coach wants to retain Lukaku and not let him go. That would again give Lukaku a chance in the Premier League, but I think he feels more comfortable in Serie A.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 25, 2023, 03:04:47 PM
To me, Barcelona has two major problems.
One is their defense and secondly it's their attack. I don't know which is easier to fix but if hey don't fix those two departments, they won't be winning any silverware this season.

The defense concedes too many goals. A defense of that nature should not be conceding that much goals. They have very good defendere but they always lack concentration either at the beginning of the game or at the end.

As for the attack, have you seen the expected goals stats of Barcelona? They miss too many chances. The are the team in La Liga that have created the most chances and they're also the team have missed the most big chances. They really need to fix that.
Vitor Roque will be traveling to Barcelona soon, hopefully he would be able to make their attack score more goals.

I think it's easier to solve the problem on defense. Last season, Barcelona won the championship by conceding very few goals thanks to its good defense. They are conceding easy goals this season. In attack, players other than Lewandowski contribute very little. If they score more goals, the problem will be solved.
Neither of them are insurmountable problems. Xavi can fix these if he wants. Mentally, Barcelona needs to be stronger. If they improve mentally, the results will also improve.

That's right, they won a lot of games thanks to their great defense last season, but I still think that a team like Barcelona should never neglect their offensive game. Barcelona is a trademark for great combinations and highly skilled dribblings and it would be sad if they turn into one of those teams that only park the bus and hope for this one goal that they then defend with everything they have until the last minute. They should find the right balance and not abandon the beautiful soccer they used to play years ago. There are enough teams parking the bus, Barcelona should not become one of them.

But their averageness is getting cemented by all these super fails against weak teams or weaker teams, not to be disrespectful towards the Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Chelsea to me are just victims to their own mentality, because they really step up against the big teams and then become an embarrassment when they play against the small teams. I see no reason why Chelsea should be losing games at this point, they have been able to pass the stage where they lost every game, now they need to sort out their mentality, get it to be stable and consistent, so they can win all games, big and small against all teams.

Chelsea is an object lesson for a club that tries to overrun a strong league with money. In contrast to PSG where there are no other super rich clubs pumping money into the team as if there was no tomorrow, Chelsea had to learn that a billion is not enough to buy the Premier League title. They have also made some awkward decisions in general and I don't know whether any Premier League club in the history has spent so much money in such a short amount of time. They had a player fluctuation that was getting ridiculous. They were swapping faces as if they were shuffling cards.
Chelsea is no longer a good team. It's like the manager and the players haven't got used to it. This team still hasn't forgotten the Tuchel era and this situation needs to change radically, otherwise chelsea will remain a mid-level team. In minute 31, Sterling sells the last game. Now that Nkunku is back, they need to build the team around him and send Sterling packing. Pep wouldn't have sent him off if he was any good. It's sad that the team that won the champions league 2 years ago has fallen so far in such a short time.

You call it the Tuchel era, but I wouldn't call that an era to be honest. It was about 1.5 years that he stayed at Chelsea and they weren't really doing that well when he got sacked, although I know that the main reason was the change in ownership of the club.

But sure he won the Champions League with Chelsea, but we should not forget that he took over when they were qualified for the final round already and, well, nobody can take it away from him, which is fine, but it wasn't the most convincing Champions League title that I have seen.

However, it is true that a lot of people were shedding tears once he was gone and Chelsea didn't improve at all.

Having a gambling platform is clearly more profitable than spending a lot of money to become a gambling player.
Because if measured by the winning percentage, no more than 50% of people can beat a slot machine or something like that.
There are fewer than 10% of slot machine winners compared to the number of people playing at the same time.

Or working for a gambling company, it is more guaranteed in terms of salary and stability.
However, you can still work on your passion for gambling, if indeed gambling is one of your hobbies.

If we have more budget, of course I will make my own gambling game.

Now this is getting me interested, where do you have these numbers from? I highly doubt that the % of people who can beat a slot machine could approximate 50% or even the 10% is too high. Maybe some of the winnings accumulate to a small number of people, so few of the people can make good money. But I doubt that anyone can beat a slot machine that has a fixed return to play rate. Let's assume the RTP is 95%, that means if over the course of the year when 1,000,000 is put in, no more than 950,000 can come out of the slot machine. This does not apply to an individual playing the machine, but to all players combined. Since these things are purely luck based, I wonder how some people "beat" a slot machine. Did you "beat" the lottery when you got the right numbers?

Roma will try to get into the top 4 of the Serie A standings. This will help them get Lukaku permanently, which is said to be one of the conditions for Roma if they want to get Lukaku permanently. It's still quite confusing why not let Lukaku go permanently if Chelsea doesn't really need his services.
Even though Roma's current performance is not consistent enough, I am sure they can get a place in the UCL next season by finishing in the top 4 of the standings.

It is not impossible of course as they are very close to the top 4, but I am hesitant to believe they will make it eventually. The top 4 are set in stone almost I would say although maybe AC Milan will get into deeper trouble over time. But then there is some unexpected competition from Bologna and Fiorentina and Napoli is still not out of the game for the top 4. It is a single point separating them from Roma. If I had to pick my top 4 right now, I would not choose Roma.
It's not too challenging for Roma to get into the top 4 position as they play well enough they are already 6th in the points table and only 3 points behind the 4th position which needs only 1 game worse to fill and I think Roma can do it. Inter is doing very well this time in the Italian league, they are also ahead of all other teams. Inter can be champions of the Italian league.  Although now there are many matches to be played. So the position can change anytime so it is not guaranteed that they will be champions. But the possibility cannot be denied

The reality is that Roma got 4 out of 9 points from the last 3 games. This isn't very impressive and definitely not enough to get into the top four. This game against Napoli is a bit blurry as it seems that Roma has beaten a serious contender in Serie A, but everyone is aware that Napoli got a red card, then a red card and then the finishing blow from Lukaku. But without the red cards the world would be looking slightly differently and your assessment whether Roma would get into the top four and it would not be too challenging may also have been different.

Well, the Al-Nassr va Al-ittihad match will certainly be quite fierce. But I will favorite Al-Nassr without hesitation. Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo will really reminisce about this match. Because they were once colleagues in the same club and now they are facing each other as opponents. Well this is very interesting and I think we should not miss this match.
Ittihad FC is a very different team this season, at least that can be seen in the several matches they have played and also their ranking in the standings shows that they are quite weak this season so any team has a chance of beating them, especially Al Nassr who are still struggling to close the gap. the point is with Al Hilal.
Benzema did not perform as expected, maybe this will be his first and last season at Ittihad because he and the club are not satisfied with what he got, while Ronaldo has always been able to be relied on by his team so far, but it is not impossible that Ittihad will give a surprise in the match. This.
The betting market favors Al Nassr even though they as the away team, are quite different from last season's conditions, and this difference is because Ittihad is one of the teams that has experienced a decline and is certain to fail to defend the title.
So true. Last season, perhaps when we bet on the Al-ittihad vs Al-Nassr match, we would have doubted Al-Nassr a little. Because last season Al-ittihad always played with full confidence. And they are always the favorites. It's just that this season everything has changed. So when Al-ittihad became the hosts, it seemed like many people were hesitant to choose them as favourites. Personally, as I said from the start, I will favor Al-Nassr. Because as you said, the performance of Benzema and several European players at Al-ittihad cannot be expected too much. Well, we feel more disappointment nowadays when betting on Al-ittihad. But indeed, as the host, Al-ittihad could suddenly rise and beat Al-Nassr. I didn't expect that. Because I might bet on Al-Nassr.

The best part about this is that the most expensive soccer players on the planet are not playing for teams that ultimately win the Saudi Professional League title. These guys earn around 750 million euros combined in a bit more than 2 years. And yet they don't win the title with their teams. I don't know what to think about that, but the two players can be happy to have signed those contracts from a financial perspective. Whether they have the reputation that they would do everything for money? I think so, too. It is good to see that there are players who resist the money. Messi is one of them and some others did as well. But Benzema and Ronaldo are the way they are.

I regard Luis Enrique a lot he was able to manage the likes of the hottest trio that year as they went ahead to win the treble that year. Same with Zidane who also managed the star players within Real Madrid then to win back to back Champions League. They had special players so they was able to do it.

Josep Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho are my men. Taking them place right now has got to be Xavi Hernandez even of he's having challenges and Xabi Alonso. They'll replace this coaches in the next decade.

Good facts and your checks well alligned. He'll have to adapt in the Premier League Competition amd that another year to see a new coach implement trials and errors. We be only suggesting and giving our own opinions, we not the board and management of Manchester United to make this implements.

I am not a big fan of Luis Enrique, but I am fine you have that opinion. That is why I said that it's really difficult to judge coaches who were lucky enough to get teams that were fully developed and ready to win it all. I would like to see all those coaches take responsibility for a team that is not yet ready or in deep trouble. Klopp was successful with Dortmund and that was not easy. Mourinho won two huge Champions League titles with Porto and Inter Milan. Guardiola had only good teams, but somehow he is very unique and a stickler for details like nobody else.

PSG's meeting with Sociedad cannot be taken lightly because Sociedad is also not an easy club to beat so that they can enter the round of 16, it is not easy to qualify. That's why PSG must be able to play optimally in the first leg meeting because of course it will be difficult to correct mistakes. If that is done at their first meeting, Luis Enrique must really be able to provide the right strategy to fight this Spanish club.
Sociedad have gone through the group phase well enough so that they managed to qualify for the round of 16 and I don't think they will waste this opportunity. PSG is not an easy opponent but Sociedad also cannot be underestimated because in the group phase they managed to hold the Champions League runners-up to a draw last season in the home and away matches, so they managed to emerge as group winners.

Luis Enrique has to prepare everything because facing teams that are not taken into account will be much more difficult because they don't have too much weight when playing. So there will be unexpected surprises such as several clubs in the group phase beating teams that are much stronger.
Real Sociedad's performance this season has improved quite a lot and they have proven it in the UCL group stage matches and La Liga matches so this will indeed be a serious threat to PSG, but if we look at the overall strength of the two teams at the moment there is almost no significant difference so it is indeed both The team still has the same chance of qualifying for the next round.

Luis Enrique built the PSG team with quite positive progress, even though at the start of the season the PSG team's performance was a little down, but now they are slowly recovering to be better, and indeed in the UCL match against the Sociedada team it will definitely be fierce because every team in the round The top 16 of the UCL are the best teams.

That is not fully correct what you are saying about Real Sociedad. In fact, they are quite a bit weaker in La Liga this season than they were last season. In 22/23 they were at 38 points after 18 games. But their performance in the Champions League group was strong. Needless to say that the defense was the best we have seen in the Champions League so far. They are the team that conceded the least goals of them all. Dortmund and Arsenal both conceded 4 goals and Real Sociedad topped that with only 2 goals in all games. In La Liga it's looking differently, but it is still a decent defensive performance so far. Now the games really count and it is not the most spectacular match in the Champions League, but it is an interesting game because it's tough to say where PSG stands compared to Real Sociedad.
