I think it is appropriate for Lille to aim for a place in the champions league next season because they are a team that is consistent every season and only experienced a few obstacles before finally being able to get that place. But it won't be easy because the competition keeps changing every season (not the case for PSG) and I'm happy to see Lille can continue like this. I also always win bets when I include Lille in the multibet list and that's why I like this team. The game against PSG is still about two weeks away and of course Lille will try to take these points from PSG.

Brest is the next threat for Metz and it seems that this time it will not be an easy match for Metz, especially since Brest is a fairly strong team in the middle of the table and in my opinion, even though this match takes place at Metz's home ground, there is a possibility that the result will be a draw or loss for Metz. But the worst thing is that Metz lost again against Brest and that is something they must avoid.
That's right, it won't be easy for Lille. Especially, on the other side Monaco and Nice will probably continue to maintain their position, so Lille must be able to consistently collect lots of points. Also, so far Lille has not meet PSG or Monaco, so maybe Lille position is not completely comfortable either. But Lille must to be careful Lens performance, this club seems already improved and it is possible that they will be consistent.

In my opinion, the possibility of a draw result is higher in this match. Because it won't be easy for both teams to beat each other, but for betting I personally prefer both teams to scored with odds @1.8 for now. Hopefully can happened, because usually betting on team in middle of the table is often surprising.

Lille is defending very well this season. With less than one goal conceded per game they can collect valuable points against stronger teams due to their defense. That is what they have to pay attention to first and foremost, make sure that they don't get knocked out in the first minutes against teams like PSG or Monaco. Nice and Lens are more similar to Lille, all those teams are very strategic about their approach and less explosive. I think from rank 5 to 2 everything is possible for the teams 2-6. I think Monaco is the favorite for the second spot, but the season is still young.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 05, 2023, 05:08:40 PM
It's not impossible, but it's very difficult. I must say that it became even more difficult, especially considering the defeat they suffered in the match they played against each other. I expected them to at least draw in that match, but they lost. Now their only chance to win the league will be to wait for Al Hilal to lose points.
Yes, it is quite unfortunate that in this big match, Al Nassr was unable to get even just one point, and this match made the difference in points between the two teams even further away. There is still a chance for Al Nassr to become champions of the Saudi Pro League this season, but unfortunately, that will also be determined by the results obtained by Al Hilal, and so far there has been no visible decline from Al Hilal, in fact the quite landslide victory over Al Nassr has further confirmed them as The strongest team so far, if they can beat Al Nassr then they can beat other teams which can also be said to be strong, and the point difference is quite large, it could mean that Al Hilal will ensure the title more quickly.

Basically, Al Nassr no longer has a big chance, so it doesn't seem right if you say Al Nassr still has a big chance . Because ya, ofcourse, Al Hilal will also maintain its position well because anyway, this season will be the right season for Al Hilal because they have managed to go undefeated so far this season. So ya, I personally will not force myself to make hopes or assessments for Al Nassr to get the Saudi Pro League trophy this season because ya, the big 3-0 defeat at least provides a little proof that Al Hilal is still the best so far this season in the Saudi Pro League.

I would leave the "big" away as the chance is definitely not big at this point. Al-Nassr would have to win game after game whereas Al-Hilal would have to fail three games. They have one more duel against each other and since the first was a 3-0 for Al-Hilal, it's also an indicator of strong Al-Hilal is overall. The game was not weak by Al-Nassr last week, but it was obvious that Ronaldo is a normal human being. He couldn't score despite having so many shots and so much ball possession. This game was so crucial and a draw would have been looking differently now as seven points is quite the distance.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: December 05, 2023, 04:35:38 PM
I am a discipline and a responsible gambler but tend to quit gambling somedays.
I think I am going to be missing the whole fun of it but if I would find it difficult keeping total off it, I have thought of going around the gambling grounds (gambling tables) with a logical lucrative planning to taking advantage over the gambling tables though am not gonna be a partaker in the gambling anymore.

How do I take advantages over the gambles while I am not gambling anymore?
I tend to invest in the gambling. How?
At my visits in the gambling grounds, I will be lending my funds to the losers who has run out of  funds and willing to bet more if they have more money.
I tends to make this a deal with interest charges with concrete agreement to be secured and I will be opened to also accepting collaterals.

I verily know that I will succeed more of the inexperienced and those gamblers who doesn't have gambling budgets including those who can't take control over their gambling emotions

But if someone is ready to provide collateral for a loan that is supposed to be risked in gambling, what kind of collateral are you talking about? If it is in cryptocurrency only, most cryptocurrencies could be used on many web casinos anyway.

I have also got another question for you regarding morals: what would you do if someone hands over his wedding ring to you as collateral? Let's assume the value is known. Would you take it and lend that person money to keep gambling? Where would your moral limits be when you already provide a business that only people in deep trouble would attend?

~snip
They are through to the 16 of the UCL and yes, they could meet a top team but with their composure they could be one surprise team to watch out for in Europe.

PSV is playing great football in local Dutch league, but I clearly doubt that they can do anything serious in CL
all will depend on a draw, but you could see against Arsenal that difference in quality is simply to big to be ignored, and that they will easily drop-out on some of top European teams

but playing in R16 in CL is already a success for PSV, and Feyenoord didn't succeed to pass, but they will have better time in Europa league, where they have better chances to pass further
also, congrats to PSV on all wins so far, it is a rare event to see

But isn't PSV already qualified for the next round? I don't think they need a draw as they played their games against Lens and won one game 1-0 and tied the other game 1-1. No matter how this last game ends, nothing can change in that group anymore for Arsenal and PSV. The odds aren't great or anything, but if there was still something on the line for PSV I think a bet on PSV could have made sense. But this way both teams are playing for nothing.

However, I agree that next round I don't see them as a tough contender. But what they are doing in the Eredivisie is insane. That goal difference!  Shocked
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 05, 2023, 02:49:18 PM

The game is over and Sevilla couldn't get a good result in this match. In fact, they were not in good form in the last days we saw from this team and Sevilla has lost many points so far, they had a bad performance in La Liga even in the last season, also changing the coach didn't help the team at all.  They couldn't beat a team like Villarreal while Sevilla had more chances in this match.

You can see that the stats were not too bad for them, but they seem to have a severe problem with their attacking line as typically a team with so many more shots should also have a few more shots on target, but that's not the case here. They are stuck now and this long lasting streak without winning goes into the next round. The only thing that saves them until is that there are a few teams that are so much worse then Sevilla. It could become darker when they lose some of their next games against teams from the bottom of the table.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 05, 2023, 02:18:56 PM
I empathize with what you're going through. Two years is indeed a long time, and it's like being shackled by severe financial constraints. This can be a valuable lesson for all of us, emphasizing the real dangers of addiction. Even borrowed money should be used wisely to ensure smooth bill payments.

I sincerely hope you find a job with a good income soon to expedite the repayment of your debts. Also, I hope you won't repeat this mistake in the future. If I were in your position, I might feel deeply affected by such circumstances.

But the analysis of his wrongdoing is so exact that I wonder why he risked a period of two years necessary to recover in case it goes wrong. If you are able beforehand to calculate the cost of your action like that, I mean it also takes a lot to go for it if you know that it takes two years until you can finally breath normally again in terms of financials. On the one hand, it is a sad story because I wish nobody to have bad times ahead of them, but on the other hand it is a little bit shocking to see that he went for it regardless of the consequences.
He acted moved by emotion and ignored the rationality to evaluate the potential negative consequences of his decision. He was probably totally focused in recovering what he had already lost previously and the idea of borrowing money seemed the easiest and most immediate one to fulfill that goal.

It's not an uncommon phenomenon in gambling community. Many gamblers have already found themselves on this situation chasing losses and accumulating more losses yet on the process. I believe what we have to understand is that it's not easy for gamblers to think logically and wisely when they are under high pressure and adrenaline, so they go through the wrong route.

That is why it's so important to have a supportive network of familiars and friends who will discourage and prevent the person from acting during this unstable state of mind.

Of course, but then the best advice would be to do the analysis he provided here before he makes the decision to go for that gamble. If he knows that he is literally risking two years of financial well-being for his family, how the hell would someone draw the conclusion to place that bet or gamble with that money? That is where he should slowed down and take some time before taking action. I don't know if he was sober because that is often the state of mind that leads you to making absolutely fucked up decisions, but still as soon as someone risks not only their own financial well-being, but that of others and the family, that's when to pull the trigger to stop.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 05, 2023, 02:12:20 PM
I wish Leverkusen would have won the game as this draw is kind of annoying for both of them. Dortmund couldn't get any closer to the top and to Bayern and Leverkusen couldn't turn their dominant game into important three points. No need to discuss that a win would have been preferable for obvious reasons, but it is true that Leverkusen has the game against Bayern on their home ground. To tie a game against Dortmund is ok and Bayern will have some weaker games, too. But we can already see what's needed to stay level with Bayern. Wins, wins, wins.
The game ended draw between Leverkusen and Dortmund might be expected result by many people, but it's frustrating for both teams, especially considering the missed opportunity to keep competing at the top. Dortmund's failure to close the gap to bayern, and Liverkusen's missed chance to convert their dominance into three points, adds a big disappointment that could hit their mentality remembering they have to fight against Bayern for the tittle race. They know Bayern wont easily drop points off against other teams.

While Xabi Alonso had a great test to evaluate his team after the draw, there's still a opportunity for his team to secure the lead in the league by having the upcoming game against Bayern on their home ground. Leveling a score line in a game against a strong opponent like Dortmund could be acceptable, and as you point out, Bayern may face some challenging matches as well. This draw should be a reminder for Alonso to realize that the competition's intensity and the high standard requires to stay competitive at the top.

Dortmund was mainly complaining about a penalty that they wanted to claim, but whoever saw that scene I think it is not a must to award that penalty. I don't know what Terzic said, I only know that there were lots of complaints all the time. But then I ask myself how sad of a performance is it by Dortmund when Bayer Leverkusen controls the whole game and Dortmund has no control over the game whatsoever. They know that they can score a goal, but this was only about the result. I wish they would be more self-critical instead say that they should have lost the game and the point was a present from Leverkusen.

Something truly unexpected happened last night and Atalanta lost at home to Torino with a score of 3-0. Zapata scored a brace and Sanabria also scored a goal in this match and in this victory Atalanta was not able to get a goal back. I didn't expect Atalanta to lose so badly like this even though in H2H Atalanta was always superior against Torino, but in football there are times when this record can be broken when the team has a strong reason to win. On the other hand, this result meant that Atalanta was stuck in 8th position and Torino moved up to the top 10 of the Serie A standings after successfully overtaking Monza.

Still, it was an away game for Atalanta, but this does not change the fact that the result was as unexpected as possible. A dry major defeat, I don’t even know what the odds were for such an outcome - definitely more than 30. Formally, Atalanta is very close to fourth place, but taking into account the number of competitors that are vying for this place, I don’t think that Atalanta has a chance, most likely they will finish the season even lower than last year (5th place).
Regarding the goal chances, there weren't many and there were only 9 for Torino to score those 3 goals and even Atalanta had a little more chances with 10. But it's possible that Atalanta's defense and goalkeeper weren't very good in this match, so they often conceded goals. In general, it will be difficult for Atalanta to break into the top 4 with the dominance of several strong Serie A teams and perhaps finishing in 5th place would be a rational thing for them. There is not much they can do about this and they will only remain the dominant team in the competition for the top spot.

This game was not particularly high level and both teams had their chances. If you want to watch the most important scenes, this is a good summary. But Atalanta gave away one goal as a present because one player who wasn't involved in the box but tried to run in was stopped in an unfair manner and hence, Torino was awarded a penalty after the VAR check. The third goal was a shot that got deflected, which made the result for further up in favor of Torino, so I think this wasn't because one team was so much stronger than the other, but some easy goals were given to Torino while Atalanta didn't use their chances.

It is clear that if United fails to qualify for the round of 16 or the Europa League play offs, Ten Hag time at United is over, simply put, management will have to fire him. The match against Chelsea was quite strange for me, considering the ups and downs in performance of both clubs this season.

Both Pochettino and Ten Hag are under enormous pressure at the moment, and neither is immune from criticism from fans. It's understandable, considering the money they spend on players but we don't see much progress. I don't think United and Chelsea will reach the top four, but regardless, we'll see how they play at Old Trafford.

Personally, I can't predict who will win this time. Playing at home doesn't guarantee a win for United, and Chelsea inconsistency frustrates me. They held City to a draw but then lost to Newcastle. Overall it is very difficult to understand these two elite clubs.

I would expect that he gets fired then for sure, but at Manchester United you never know and I thought ten Hag should have gotten fired long ago already.

But I don't understand about what game you are talking? Manchester United vs. Chelsea didn't take place yet. They are about to play against each other and I believe that the game will have a huge impact on the management's decision whether to keep or fire ten Hag and then he will get his final game in the Champions League. If both is lost, he is gone. But I don't know what they are going to do when he qualifies for the Europa League only and does not lose against Chelsea.

Nkiteah and Jesus are still quite reliable in addition to there are several adequate left / right wing strikers now, but I don't know the reasons behind the management for example who asked for it but currently Arsenal are still strong with a makeshift squad now.

If Arteta quest to get another good striker from Juventus become successful, they will sell Jesus out because it seems that Juventus are having much interest in buying Gabriel and it's going to be a perfect swap for Vlahovic to get a new striker or they may go for Ivan Tony as their next interest of the striker.
I think they still won't let Gabriel go even if there's a striker like Dusan in the squad.
Dusan will be given more trust if he comes to Arsenal but Gabriel will not be let go just like that because his performance is still reliable.

Gabriel's role is not only to score goals at Arsenal because even though he is a striker, he can also be a distraction from the opposing players so with 2 types of strikers where Dusan is a targetman and Gabriel who can play more of a role in his movement without the ball Arteta will have several options for changes in attack schemes so I think this can still be done.

But this also depends on Gabriel because the priority of the core players in the squad will be replaced if Dusan comes to Arsenal.

Gabriel Jesus is no worth than Vlahovic. Actually I think they are at least equal in quality and I also think that a highly technically versed player like Jesus fits better into the team, the system and the style that Arsenal is playing. This could just be my taste and I wonder what everyone here thinks, but what did Vlahovic achieve in his career? Everyone thought he would instantly breakthrough at Juventus, but he isn't as strong as most people thought because he scored so many goals at a young age for Fiorentina. This doesn't mean he is bad, not at all, but we are talking about a player who went from Fiorentina to Juventus and got worse.

+1 this is a very good point! I think that genius can prove itself in almost any team, but only to a limited degree. Messi could not have been the Messi we know if he played for Granada instead of Barcelona, although he would have been bought out from there instantly. Guirassy can definitely become a better player if he has better players around him. But I really only referred to their age as the difference and other than that I think they are quite similar to each other. Both are amazing strikers, but I thought that Kolo Muani would do better at PSG.

I agree with you on Kolo Muani's doing better at PSG. He is a versatile striker you know. He isn't just a scorer now. He can make so many assists together with scoring the same amount. We watched him like that at Frankfurt for quite a long time at least.  Smiley  So far at PSG his statistics haven't been bad at all honestly.

He has 7 goals and 2 assists in 18 games in total now. This is pretty nice considering that you have a superstar like Mbappe as well in your team. Because Mbappe is really needed to carry the team in most of the games. But Kolo Muani is also able to show his skills in the meantime. He can be PSG's future.

That's one way how you can see it and it is true that superstars like Mbappe draw a lot of attention away from others and they make the team focus more on a player like Mbappe. From that point of view it is correct that Kolo Muani is playing well, but when I saw some of his games I thought that he would become even more effective when he plays for PSG with Dembele and Mbappe. But it is still early days for him, he is still young and nobody knows where he could go. Considering that Mbappe might soon leave the club, Kolo Muani does have the potential to fill at least some of the gap that Mbappe will leave behind.

Newcastle was definitely better than Manchester United and deserved to get three points out of this game. Ten Hag has to be fired by the new owner of Man United.
Man United showed that their players were lazy not ready to work hard when Rashford got the chance. Just look he was only able to shoot on target once until the second half was over. This is clearly a  disappointment that embarrasses Man United.  Erik Ten Hag is completely unsuitable to lead Man United and he must realize that.
Man United is still doing terrible, if they didn't lose they would be tied to fifth position and now they are at seventh position behind Newcastle, winning this game would have been quite important for them but it didn't happned. They really need to figure out how they could get better, Aston Villa is fourth, do we really think that Man United and Aston Villa are both playing fairly and equally?

Aston Villa has so much lesser amount of money to build a squad with, they barely spend the whole season buying players for a single player that United buys, unequal amounts, and yet United is doing worse, that's basically saying United is underachieving their season so far and needs to do a lot better, they may even be out of European competitions all together soon.

It is not only about the position they have today, I think this could also be the beginning of the end of their goals for this season. The next game is against Chelsea and they are tough to have an opinion on. Perhaps they can beat Manchester United at Old Trafford or they have a weak game again, but if Manchester United loses that game and they miss to qualify for both the next round of the Champions League and the Europa League, I assume that the time has come for ten Hag to leave the club. I think we will find out before Christmas.

Inter is a brutal team and I think this is what makes them so strong and also reminds me of their times around 2010. They had a monstrous defense and they used their chances like no other team. It is tough because once the opponents get into a position to score but don't convert their chances, Inter will be there and knock them out with the next counter attack.

It ended 3-0, it's a pity. I hoped that Inter would not be so clearly in the lead. And yes, in Serie A they really are monsters - they have a goal difference of +26, no one can boast  even nearly of such efficiency in the game. It’s good that Juventus is not far behind and perhaps we will see some intrigue.
I’m glad that Roma returned to the top 4, even if their position there is very precarious, but after such a disgusting start, this is a great result.

You especially mentioned that they are monsters in Serie A, but I think that they haven't yet reached their peak and can go places from here in the Champions League as well. There game wasn't as clean there, but they knew they have two strings to their bow in the form of the final game against Real Sociedad at home. If they can finish the group as first and simultaneously deliver like mad in Serie A, I would not rule out the possibility that they can win it all.

It's true Leverkusen getting a win in they game would have posed more advantage to them way beyond what it actually is at the moment, the difference In point to which they will be at the top of the table would have been such that losing a single match will still have them some points ahead of Bayern Munich regardless.

The era of Bayern Munichs dominance would have definitely be threatened much more than it is now because it will mean Bayern will have to work their self up well enough to catch up with Leverkusen and probably get ahead of them. It's no news that the anticipation of the end to bayern Munich dominance is what most persons are looking forward to and they are all trusting Leverkusen to be the pioneer of their great change lol. I hope Leverkusen doesn't get an loss or draw again so they can maintain their wins consistently continually stay at the top of the table probably till the season ends.

But this sounds too pessimistic saying that it would have been way better. It implies that now it is much worse, which I think is not correct. The situation is still good for Leverkusen and it could be looking much worse if it wasn't for their remarkable performance this season. It's still ok and there are a lot of points to be played for. I doubt that Bayern would lose any points against Union Berlin, but who knows and there are still some other highly interesting encounters coming.

But we also saw that Manchester City can have their problems in a home game against a Tottenham team that was not doing so well recently. That's good news for everyone. I never thought that Tottenham would actually strike back one more time, but that was great effort! It was the first time that I saw how insanely freakish Haaland can be! Cheesy I thought I knew it already, but against Tottenham it was next level, haha! His face and the poor referee!
Haland seem frustrated at some point considering he had missed multiple chances tho have scores a goal from the first half of the game, I even think he envisage an easy game but it turned out the game became tougher than he had expected and it summed up to his frustration hence he gave such reaction with the ref which caused him a yellow card.

Tottenham deserves every form of applaud because not only did they get a draw but they did put up a really good fight against Manchester city in the eithad stadium which happens to be their string hold of victory but the spurs defiled the records in what seemed like their worse form, this is a good signal with the spurs they they are definitely getting back on their feet and a signal for other teams that they can still challenge Manchester city regardless of their might .

Having almost as much ball possession as Manchester City in the Etihad stadium says a lot. There are not a lot of teams that can do that and as I said before, I thought that Tottenham has zero chance to resist the pressure and fight back, but they did. Haaland freaked out because the referee took away an advantage in the last minutes that was quite questionable to be honest. Grealish would have been 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper. I think that was a very bad call by the referee, but that is part of soccer.

With the results that Manchester City received in the last few matches they ran this really gave a big advantage to Arsenal but not only Arsenal, now Liverpool also get the same advantage when they managed to shift the position of Manchester City at this time.

But instead this reminds me of last season where the scenario was quite the same because in the middle of the season Manchester City also experienced problems but in the end the competition started afterwards.
Manchester City need to make some breakthroughs now especially with the last match in the Chmapions League it has no impact on them so at least there are a few weeks for Manchester City to focus on the EPL.

From now on we will see how consistent Arsenal and Liverpool can be for the title competition. Arsenal did a quite good work in the previous season for that but while we were getting close to the final moments of the season they started to mess things up. This made things much easier for Manchester City to take back the lead and become the champions.

Therefore I hope to see an Arsenal which have learned their lesson from that. I can't say they are playing perfectly this season but the work they have done so far has been enough to have the lead. Liverpool are also not like the previous season now. They are really ambitious for the league title. I hope to see a big competition between multiple teams until the end.

But we also saw that Manchester City can have their problems in a home game against a Tottenham team that was not doing so well recently. That's good news for everyone. I never thought that Tottenham would actually strike back one more time, but that was great effort! It was the first time that I saw how insanely freakish Haaland can be! This is not the first match in which Dortmund has acted in this way against a strong opponent, they did something similar in the match against Newcastle. For Dortmund, an away draw is a completely acceptable result, but for Bayer it is a loss of very important points, now Bayern will almost certainly be able to take advantage of these and get ahead of them, although if they win they will be equal on points, but Bayern will have a better goal difference.

If we talk about the theoretical situation, Bayer still have an advantage - firstly, for Bayern to catch up with them, they still have to win the game in hand. Secondly, even if Bayern wins, the teams will have an equal number of points, but the remaining head-to-head game will be on Bayer's field where they can tip the scales in their favor. But these are theoretical considerations, it is clear that Bayern actually remains a very big favorite.

Manchester United and Newcastle both have been reported to be targeting to sign Guirassy from Stuttgart. The reported fee thought by these teams for him is 15 million pounds. This would be a ridiculous amount to be offered for him honestly. Because there is no way they can sign him for such a small amount.

Stuttgart wouldn't like to let Guirassy go that easy. His market value is 40 million euros. He would surely like to play for bigger teams but this is just a very optimistic offer for him. Both of these teams are rich in the end so they should be increasing their offer way more.

Guirassy reminds me of Kolo Muani who left Frankfurt and PSG paid a whopping 90 million euros or more? I don't know the exact amount, but I don't think that Guirassy is worse than Kolo Muani, but the difference may be the age as Kolo Muani is three years younger. Still when we consider what the market has been looking like in the last few years, 15 million is impossible unless he has that written in his contract. We are also talking about rich Premier League clubs. Stuttgart could possibly ask for 60 million and more. If one of those clubs really wants him, they would also pay that amount.

We never know the highest potential of these two players actually. Maybe Guirassy would look less skillful than Kolo Muani first. But when Guirassy is transferred by a big team maybe he would surprise you by performing much better than Kolo Muani under the same conditions.  Smiley  It is important where he would go as well of course.

Guirassy should join a team in which he can find as much time as possible to play. Otherwise even if he starts making more money he wouldn't have enough time to be a part of the starting eleven. This would just block his development a lot.
