Bayern Munich have to face a team that necessarily is strong to enter the final game. A witnessed teams like Inter and Chelsea which were less favourite in the previous years that went through the final eliminating stronger opponents and made it to the finals.
Bayern Munich will face eventually Manchester City or Real Madrid or Inter or another good team later after winning against Lazio which are in bad forms. I think Bayern Munich shouldn't wish to face an easy team, they have to eliminate every rival they face to win the title. This year, many teams dropped in performance, including them, so they might pick this opportunity once they improve themselves.
So, if we talk about Bayern Munich, of course they will have an easy opponent in the round of 16 because Lazio this season they have really lost their best form in the domestic league. So Bayern with their best strength will be able to beat Lazio in the round of 16. There will be two meetings in the matches they play and I am sure Bayern Munich can secure these two matches by winning. Bayern Munich this season has quite a big mission in the Champions League because they have improved quite well so that their strength is really strong for this season.

Of course, this season final cannot be predicted because any surprises could happen like last season. I think either Bayern Munich or Manchester City will compete with all their best strength to reach the final this season. And for potential strong entrants like Barcelona, they cannot be considered weak because Barcelona has a lot of experience in the Champions League.

It would not be the first time that Bayern Munich gets knocked out by a huge underdog. It is 1.5 years ago when Bayern Munich was playing against Villareal and everyone thought that this would be the easiest game ever for the Bavarians. But they lost the first game in the quarterfinals 1-0 and then they tied the second leg although it was a home game. If I had to compare Lazio and Villareal, I would say that they are about similar strength and Bayern should be warned exactly because of the experience they have made with Villareal Wink

It seems we are both points on the same point as you said.
But I still can't understand why some players like Neymar and some other superstar players lose their way, they have a reputation and good form and everything they need to have but they are not going the right way.
Maybe if Neymar was trying to keep himself in the right way to give more priority to his professional career he could be a true leader for his team in the 2026 World Cup and help his team like Messi did in Argentina but Neymar is paying more attention to other thing and I think other than the playing of Neymar which is the reason for him to get injured more often, he should make some changes in his professional life.

Hm this is hard to tell for others, but I think if I am honest now, assuming that I earned 50 million euros a year or even much more than that, I don't know if I would stay focused on sports only or if felt the need to appreciate life outside of sports sometimes. I know that we can quickly judge him and say that he has everything other people are wishing for, but something inside me shows some understanding for him.

But this only refers to his desire to appreciate life and money. His behavior on the pitch sometimes made me angry. Like his attitude and all the diving he did or the acting when he was fouled as if he was about to die. That's really what I hate about him and it is not worthy of a superstar.

Yes, but every machine has it's expiration date. Newer model will be released and the old one will be scrapped. I mean he is 36 years old and he is approaching the end of his career. Yes, he is fit and using that ultra-healthy diet and stuff but you can't trick time. I really think that 2024 will become the beginning of the end for Nole.

But you are talking as if someone here claimed that Djokovic doesn't age. Everyone is aware that he is not getting any younger and that he will one day have to retire like everyone else. But that is not the point of our discussion. The point is that he is the GOAT already and it doesn't matter whether someone likes him or not. He is actually not my favorite player. But I have to admit that he is the most impressive player across all surfaces whereas without a doubt Nadal is the king of clay. But it's craziness to see that Djokovic is healthy on such a high level. He isn't suffering from serious stuff like Nadal is. I am just wondering whether this will go on for maybe two or three more years? If this is once again going to be a remarkable season for him, he could be tearing down the 30 GS titles wall. That would be nuts.

I agree that it is not set in stone that playing home in the second game is an advantage. It could also be subjective perception, but I sometimes think that playing the second game at home could psychologically be advantageous. However, if a team plays first at home and wins that game, it could be an advantage as well when the team can then play patiently, waiting for counter attacks away from home and knowing that a draw would be enough isn't bad either.
In my personal opinion, playing the second game at home isn't an advantage and especially when the hosting team had conceded a goal away already or lost the game away so definitely a draw isn't going to do them any good, they at that point not only needed to win, but to win with a good margin to be able to get ahead of their opposition.

It's even better the first game is played at your home and if you win you stand at the best advantage you can think of at that time because you wouldn't have to struggle away and like you rightly stated even a draw will be fine and so their struggle at this point reduce and the hosting team is now more at battle because even psychologically they will be under pressure to making sure not to concede a goal and also not to loose so the pressure is high when you are hosting the second game than when you host the first, you only become relaxed hosting the second only if you won the first with a good margin.

Maybe it all depends on the circumstances. I know it wasn't in the Europa League, but in the Champions League: do you remember the game when Liverpool was 0-3 down against Barcelona after the first leg? Can you imagine that Liverpool would have turned it around ever, if they played the second game away from home? I can't. I think this unbelievable event was only possible because the Reds had the full force of their fans supporting them at Anfield Road. Without the fans and the explosive atmosphere that miracle would have never been possible. That is why I think it can be an advantage to play the second game at home.

The last week of 2023 did not make Napoli very happy because at the time they needed full points but unfortunately they could only share 1 point with Monza. It's a really unpleasant result, especially playing at home in front of fans. It's really complicated but Napoli is still a team that tries everything to get better. It was unexpected that the result of this series would also be another bad record in the last few matches. The absence of Victor Osimhen in the previous match due to a red card also made Napoli even more stuck without clarity in the attack line.
Indeed Napoli is not happy with the match outcome because they dominated the match completely and they have more attempts on goals and more chances created in the match, but unfortunately, they couldn’t win the match despite all the attempts they had in the match.

The match is full of some moments of arguments because Napoli did not want to lose to them again after losing their last match against them, moreover, Napoli wanted the three points to be ahead of Roma before Roma play their own match. Nevertheless, they both share point .

But this problem has been persistent now for the whole season. I think they are not playing as bad in most of the games, but they lack the efficiency that was their biggest strength in the last season. Their efficiency last season was on point and they knocked out their opponents with great timing almost every game. But now they just can't do it the same way and every time they dominate the games, but when the right timing is there to score and finish off their opponents, the goal doesn't come in their favor. That is the big difference compared with last season.

Breaking News!
Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to a contract extension as Real Madrid coach until 2026 and with this, Carlo Ancelotti's future fate is clear and he will remain at Santiago Bernabeu for the next 2 seasons. It seems that Real Madrid fans have to be more patient if they want Xabi Alonso as the new coach and they have to accept that Carlo Ancelotti will continue with Real Madrid for quite a long time. Florentino Perez still believes in Carlo Ancelotti's performance as a coach and therefore he gave him this contract so that he can continue to manage the squad of young players at Real Madrid.
It seems the news is valid, it was published by Fabrizio Romano.  Undecided
Since it is official already, it means Ancelotti stays in Real Madrid and won't move to Brazil. I'm actually a bit surprised to know Ancelotti's decision but it is surely not a bad decision. Real Madrid management may think Ancelotti is still the best option for Real Madrid coach, so they try all out to ensure he will stay a bit longer. The current progress of Real Madrid future players are also under Ancelotti's plan, so he still has a role to keep it in the right way. Also, Real Madrid still can perform impressively and quite stable with Ancelotti. Although many star players moved, Ancelotti could keep the balance of Real Madrid squad very well.

Well, Real Madrid will remain in the same play style in the next 2 seasons. And Real Madrid fans must forget to have Xabi Alonso as the coach. But for Leverkusen fans, they must thank to Ancelotti, they won't lose Xabi as Leverkusen coach. Xabi must stay in Leverkusen in the next few season to prove that he deserves to be the candidate of Real Madrid next coach.

This contract extension was a surprise to me as I remember some of the interviews that Ancelotti gave and I was always of the impression that he perhaps would like to continue for another season, but this is a serious long term extension for him. If you see someone talking about their career and how they are about to cross the finish line, you would not expect them to sign a contract that runs until summer 2026. But this was also a clear statement against the Brazilian national team. That was something I thought Ancelotti could be interested in. But he isn't blind. He knows that Brazil isn't very good at the moment and he has the chance to coach a strong Real Madrid that maybe signs Mbappe very soon.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: December 29, 2023, 09:51:25 PM
I think Arsenal are massively overrated. They had one good season in like a decade and still didn’t win the league. They have an average goalkeeper and impotent strike force. I think Saliba and Gabriel are a good CB partnership but their fullbacks are mediocre. The midfield is pretty good but I don’t think they are good enough to win big titles yet.

I sometimes think they might be slightly overrated. Massively overrated sounds like an exaggeration to me, but slightly is enough to come to the conclusion that it is not very likely for them to be ready to win the Premier League yet. The results have been bad recently, but the results were not necessarily perfectly reflective of how the games went. But that's something that can happen to the other teams. Manchester City had a few games this season that were dominated by them and yet ended with a bad result.

Full time and Al Hilal managed 2-0 from Al Feiha, this victory make Al Hilal success unbeaten 19 matches and make gap 10 points behind Al Nassr but has one match more. Its crucial victory for Al Hilal need waiting until 86th minutes for scoring first goals trough Ali Albulayhi and Aleksandar Mitrović scored one goals trough penalty kick on additional time.
First time for Al Hilal need waiting longer time for getting victory against Al Feiha with teams current standings on 12th position, usually Al Hilal easy for winning more than two goals and make goals on the first half but the victory make Al Hilal keep comfortable on the top standings position awhile.
Again, Al Hilal showed us that they have no strong competitor in SPL this season. The point gap is surely 10 points now and they are still undefeated until matchday 19. Al Nassr seems difficult to overtake the points if Al Hilal can play consistently until the end of the season. This season is simply for Al Hilal, they have a great season. Mitrović scored again in the match against Al Feiha, he continues to increase his total goal to compete for the top scorer in SPL. No doubt that Mitrović is very shining with Al Hilal, he becomes a very productive striker.

I think there is no problem although Al Hilal seems not very easy to win the match. The most important thing that they succeed to get full points to maintain their position in the top of SPL. As long as they could get full points, it means they are safe to finish this season with a title. Well, if Al Hilal wins the title, it is very unfortunate for Ronaldo. He again fails to win the SPL title.

The worst and most boring part about Al-Hilal is how little resistance they experience from their opponents. Al Feiha didn't have one shot on target and during the full 90+ minutes they had two shots (not even on target though!). I don't know but this season will be a boring one and Al-Nassr disappointed a lot of those fans that were hoping for them to win the title. Ronaldo will probably score the most goals this season, but they won't have a chance to close the gap again and have a say in the fight for the title.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 29, 2023, 09:35:26 PM

Dortmund showed a different performance in the UCL, what impressed us all about Dortmund was their success in qualifying from the hell group. However, in the Bundesliga they look a little unstable, usually Dortmund always compete tightly and suppress Bayern's dominance, but this season Laverkusen has taken over that role and appeared more impressive. The time gap until mid-January can be utilized by all teams competing in the Bundesliga, I think even though there are no new player recruitments, this time gap will be used to evaluate their respective performance.

Dortmund is now knocked out of the top four of the standings and has collected 27 points, the opportunity to penetrate the UCL zone is still open. Consistency in securing full points is a priority in the remaining matches of the second half, if they don't do something in the transfer window then they will have difficulty finishing in the top four of the standings.
Dortmund’s performance in the UCL is way different from how they perform im the domestic league. In the UCL they seem to be one big demon but a shadow of themselves when they get to the league. But rating their overall performance I’ll rate it mid, because this Dortmund isn’t what we know them to be and they’ve been overtaken by the likes of Leverkusen and Stuttgart, I think they need to sit up and maintain consistency.

Yes, the break is important at this period but without better addition to the entire team, I don’t think this Dortmund side will pose any kind of threat to Bayern Munich or Leverkusen. Rather they’ll try to maintain their UCL spot which is still very open. I think the team needs some key additions especially since the departure of Jude the team’s midfield hasn’t been in sweet shape; more reason for the addition of one or two key players to pilot the midfield.

Dortmund has not been playing good in any of the competitions. They got punished in the DFB Pokal and were kicked out against Stuttgart and that game revealed all the weaknesses Dortmund is dealing with. The Bundesliga is again revealing everything as they are just not as lucky all the time as they have been in the Champions League. I don't know how often it happened that a team qualified for the next round in the CL when they scored only 7 goals in 6 games and were in one of the strongest groups of this season. Dortmund has played several games they should have lost, but didn't because their opponents were too stupid to score. I doubt that they will stay in the CL for two more rounds. Eindhoven is still doable for them, but I doubt it will be a long adventure for them.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 28, 2023, 11:59:46 PM
With the current attacking options, PSG will still be able to score that many goals, but when they are in doubt about winning and have difficulty breaking into the opponent's goal, they will be very frustrated, resulting in losing full points. Nice is a team like that and I often criticize the performance of their players because they are only able to score one goal and the most fearful thing is that when their opponents can turn things around then they have to be willing to lose full points.

Here Nice really feels the worst compared to PSG because the number of goal productivity is very small and that is not good for a team that is trying to compete for the title. They may have a strong defense and concede few goals, but there are times when they will face difficult phases that make their defensive laxity easy to break down. I think it is very difficult to find a competitor for PSG with conditions like that and still PSG will continue to dominate Ligue 1 regardless of which competitor is close to it.

Their game is always on the edge as as soon as they concede two or more goals, their whole game plan is in vain since they usually don't score more than one goal. But to be honest this isn't something that can quickly be fixed and if they only have the resources and players to focus on one thing over another, I think sticking to a strong defense is the best they can do. If they can then gradually improve their offensive game over time as well, then it is even better. But for the time being I believe Nice will remain the team scoring a low number of goals while also conceding not a lot of goals.

The weirdest thing is that, if somehow United fires ETH, then Ajax is looking bad enough that they could still get him, and that means if they do that then there is a possibility that he could do well here once again.

I mean maybe he is a good manager for Eredevise but not premier league, if that's the case then he would be great and logical to keep him here and just give him a chance to keep it going and do nothing else about it. I get that it is not going to be all that simple to handle it, but we should definitely consider him doing something right if he is still getting a lot of attention. I believe that the best thing to do with him would be something that would make sense for him to just get a job that he knows he is capable of doing.
Difference occurred in every season and we should expect blame Ajax for starting the season in this critical shape. There's big difference for managers to handle mediocre team and elite clubs, I've attracted to football and I easily talk about the club's that will win marches. If Manchester United board sacks Erik Ten Hag, it means they're desperate, but they should also focused on other clubs that are doing poorly and they have their coach at their side. Erik Ten Hag was doing exceptionally brilliant when he was the manager for Ajax but a lot of things changed when the analysis carried out doesn't work.

Ajax Amsterdam went through hell at the beginning of the season. They got caught up in this negative cycle that with every loss they lost self-confidence and started doubting themselves like barely ever before. It was looking so bad for them that in the meantime I thought they could end up fighting the relegation zone if they don't turn things around quickly. But in the end they are a top class team and we could see it when they started their winning streak.

Copenhagen, Lazio, Porto, PSV and Leipzig get unbalanced opponents, I mean their opponents in the round of 16 are very tough. Of course, without underestimating the meaning of a surprise, the clubs I mentioned will most likely be eliminated early from the Champions League. However, they have the same chance and opportunity to advance to the quarter finals, and the club that is more favored must also be aware of the increasing strength of their opponents.

PSG vs Real Sociedad, I consider it equal even though the depth of the squad is very different, we know PSG current situation. Barcelona vs Napoli, the meeting of the two defending champions is also very evenly matched, representing their respective domestic competitions. Inter vs ATM, although statistically Inter is better, ATM is considered a worthy opponent.

The transfer market will open soon, and the round of 16 matches will start in February. Automatically all contestants will prepare and upgrade their respective strengths. Some clubs with stable financial conditions certainly find it very easy to recruit players, while others are experiencing a crisis that is preventing them from actively moving forward. Madrid, Bayern and City are still many people favorite clubs, waiting for February is very boring.

But isn't it always like that when most of the big favorites come first in their group and then they are playing against one of those runner-ups, which are usually not as strong or otherwise they would have finished the group stage first.

It is only when some of the favorites struggle and come second in the group stage. That's when we have early round games like Real Madrid vs. PSG or something like that. It's good because now we know that we will most likely have some nice quarterfinals to watch.

In Brazil they respect the superstar player too much and even if they have weak performances for some months, people still lose the players, Neymar is a known and famous superstar player in Brazil, and people in this country want to see him play for their team. However, he has been really disappointing so far and I think Brazil can start investing on younger players they have in this country instead of hoping for an old player like him.

Neymar is an amazing player if he had some more resilience on the pitch and was less prone to injuries. The problem I have with Neymar is that he comes across as if a lot outside of soccer means more to him than the sport. I am not talking about family or something, but lifestyle and all the other shit like parties. Some people are more prone to injuries than others, but if a superstar like him doesn't live the superstar style that gives him maximum recovery health, I can't feel sorry for him when he gets disregarded over time. What a great player he can be. But heroic worship Neymar receives from the fans will probably soon come to an end as he couldn't deliver what they were wishing for.

I don't agree with you about the current situation of Neymar in Brazil because I don't him as an amazing player anymore but I think Neymar was a good player when he was younger and more stable for his teams but these days Neymar is far from his good form and he usually gets injured for a long time.
However, Neymar is not guilty of it because of his playing style but I think Brazil should start seeking for other players.

You didn't read my post correctly. I didn't use the correct conditional phrase grammatically, that is true, but I essentially said the same as you. That's why there is no disagreement between us.

To me there is no doubt that if Neymar was fit and if he was in overall perfect condition, he would be an amazing player. But the most amazing player is of no value to the team when that player is injured all the time or not sufficiently focused on the game and instead prefers to celebrate parties and traveling.

I must say that I cannot understand why some teams transfer 33-34 year old players. Chelsea's transfer strategy is very good. Once you have the Wonderkids, success will come gradually. They can also sell players and earn extra income. Currently, the scout team has a lot of work to do in this strategy. I think the scout team should report promising young people to Chelsea in the most accurate way.
To stabilize their strength they need to recruit 1 or 2 players aged 33-34 years and apart from that they can transition a change with their young squad. Last summer chelsea made major improvements in their team but in fact they are still hampered by being able to recover more quickly this season. Yes they may need a lot of time to get back to strength so they have to focus on buying younger players to be able to support them in the coming season.
Chelsea must learn from Manchester city how to recruit players, where Manchester City does not buy many players, but one or three players they buy can contribute as expected. Chelsea has spent a lot of money in the transfer window but the quality of the players they bought have not contributed much to the team progress.

So far it looks as if Chelsea will still need a lot of time to get back to their shape from years ago or maybe from the year when they won the Champions League. The biggest problem will be to get back into the top four. There are more and more teams that turned into fierce contenders for those valuable Champions League qualifiers. I doubt that within a year or so Chelsea can push aside teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa and some of the other teams that are at least on eye-level with Chelsea.

Well, Medvedev on fast hard court surface (like US Open) can be a menace for Nole. Hard courts are relatively slow in Australia but let's not underestimate the Russian. Last year he started really well by winning several titles in a row.

Meanwhile, we can expect another impressive return in WTA: Naomi Osaka will be back after giving birth to her child. Japanese star will be playing for the first time since 2021.

Medvedev isn't really serious competition for Djokovic. When I say serious competition I mean a player who can consistently beat Djokovic. Of course it is possible for Medvedev to win a game against Djokovic, but over the course of a year I doubt that if they were to meet five times that Medvedev could ever win the majority of the games against him. Djokovic is in top condition physically and mentally and in contrast to Medvedev, Djokovic never gives up on games. Medvedev sometimes gets mentally derailed and plays as if he hated the sport.

Why do you think so? Because if they can defend or draw it will be easier to win at home? I remember the Bayern vs Liverpool match. Liverpool draw at home and win the away game. I believe it can be a double-edged sword in the end, since there are many factors from player's motivation to supporter's support that can affect how they play.

Galatasaray is a good team; they are very strong and one of the best teams in the Europa League. However, I think Galatasaray doesn’t have any problems in Europe because they have good players that are performing excellently in the competition right now, and I don't think they have any other opponent that will be a challenge for them. Even Liverpool can not be a threat to them in my opinion because they are strong in the Europa League after they were eliminated from the Champions League. They now comeback and secure their performance here. Sparta Prague can not even be a challenge for them because Galatasaray are stronger than them.
Galatasay is really being considered in the playoffs to advance to the round of 16. They are not a weak team because we have seen them play in the Champions League this season. They have a deep squad filled with quality players in their team such as Mauro Icardi. Galatasaray will face Sparta Praha which makes it possible on paper that Galatasay can easily win the first leg because they are the hosts in the first leg.

Sparta Praha is not very strong this season so they have quite difficult opponents in the playoffs. Liverpool are certainly at the top this season because they are the big team competing in the European league this season. Apart from that, this season's playoff round presents many interesting matches to watch.

Sparta Praha has been my secret tip sometimes in the past. They are not the big team that can beat anyone anytime, but they have their very special moments and I think the Europa League is the place where it is most likely they would be able to show these moments. They did beat Real Betis at home and that helped them secure the 2nd position in the group stage in the Europa League. Real Betis is quite strong, but maybe a nuance weaker than Galatasaray. Still it's two games to go and they play the first game away from home, which I think is an advantage.

I think what will keep the rivalry alive are the matches between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. The scores in these matches will directly affect the championship. In addition, the performance of teams such as Frankfurt and Dortmund, which can prevent them, will also be decisive. I would like Bayer Leverkusen to win. The championship needs a change now.

I think that indeed the biggest hurdle for Leverkusen for the moment is to get back out of the Christmas break and win the first game against Augsburg. The interruption seldomly benefits teams like Leverkusen when they are running like clockwork. If they can get out of the break and instantly beat Augsburg, it would be so important for the rest of the season. Psychologically I am a bit afraid because Bayern starts into the second half of the season with a home game, which they are unlikely to tie or lose. This could create some negative momentum, but of course I hope for Leverkusen to continue with their impressive performances.
This year, I think Leverkusen will receive a lot of support from outside Germany. I don't want to see Bayern Munich win the championship anymore. The league has become very boring now. 2024 will be very important for Bayer Leverkusen. If Xabi's system works, they will win the championship at the end of this year and remain the team that eventually eliminated Bayern. However, Bayern is very strong and the rotation pool is very wide. They have an ultra-spectacular striker: Harry Kane. That being the case, Bayern is still the biggest favourite.

The good thing is Xabi Alonso has a system that works, the bad thing is that systems stop working when the things that made the system work are gone. This is what could turn into a problem for Alonso when his players leave for the games with their national teams. There can also be injuries, which if a key player is affected cannot be underestimated as hardly any team has the player resources like Bayern Munich to make up for that without losing quality. The question about the validity of the system has been answered, it works. But whether all parts remain intact is the question now.

Everyone is probably looking forward to the comeback of the year 2024 when Rafael Nadal steps onto the Australien Open court. I was trying to find out which tournament he will play in preparation of the Australian Open. Does anyone know what his first games will be? I think people around the world will watch those games with a little bit of skepticism, hoping that he doesn't have to give up or something. That fear that he has to step back during the tournament even when he wins his games until the quarterfinals or something is also there. But it would be great to see a fully healthy Nadal in 2024 and have him compete with Djokovic like in good old times.

I think his first tournament will be the ATP tournament in Brisbane end December- beginning January. It will be good to have him back on the tenniscourts, but I don't think he will get back to his old level. He is already 37 years and we saw the same with Federer when he tried to come back from his injury. Would be great if he could win another grandslam but will be very difficult.

Ok yes, you are right, here it is: "Nadal Announces He Will Return In Brisbane"

I am sure he has done everything possible to be fit enough to endure an entire tournament. Because this is what I am most afraid of, he wins his games but has to quit because of again another injury.

Djokovic is now smelling the opportunity as there is only Alcaraz who can stop him from time to time, but other than that there is hardly anyone with a realistic chance to beat Djokovic. If he stays in shape, who knows how many Grand Slam titles he can still add.

In my opinion, Ancelotti is not a genius coach, but he is a coach with a lot of experience and is quite capable of dealing with complex problems in several of the teams he coaches.

I agree with this. Ancelotti has been a coach for over 24 years and he has won only 5 league titles while being the coach of the best teams in the Europe. That's not genius if you ask me.
Compare him to Pep for example, In Pep's 14 years as a coach he has failed to win the league title only 3 times. Ones with Barcelona and twice with Manchester City. Meaning he has won 11 league titles in 14 years. That's genius.

Even how they play and the legacy they leave behind each teams they managed cannot be compared.

Ancelotti is a good coach, but I won't call him a genius or the goat of coaching.

How many coaches are there in the world with 26 titles, 4 titles in the Champions League (2 with AC Milan and 2 with Real Madrid), the domestic league title in 5 different countries? Mourinho also has 26 titles. Klopp so far has 13 titles, but is 8 years younger.

Still I think this shows that Ancelotti belongs into a category that is above the large majority of all other coaches. Pep Guardiola is probably above everyone else with 37 titles at the age of 52. Non-active coaches who can compete with this is obviously Alex Ferguson with I think 49 titles.
