Inter has doubled their advantage of winning the match by scoring the second goal to make it two goals, while Napoli is still battling with scoring just one goal to put themselves back in the game. Barella  scored a brilliant goal by breaking into two Napoli defender and took a simple finish to seal up the goal.

Inter are still pressuring to score Napoli the third goal as they have been creating so many chances for themselves but they couldn't find the back of the net again. Inter has one of the best midfield and they are using it as an advantage. Napoli game against Real Madrid might be what has made them weak in this match. The visitors might score more goals if Napoli don't hold them down.

Napoli 0-2 Inter

Inter is a brutal team and I think this is what makes them so strong and also reminds me of their times around 2010. They had a monstrous defense and they used their chances like no other team. It is tough because once the opponents get into a position to score but don't convert their chances, Inter will be there and knock them out with the next counter attack.

I empathize with what you're going through. Two years is indeed a long time, and it's like being shackled by severe financial constraints. This can be a valuable lesson for all of us, emphasizing the real dangers of addiction. Even borrowed money should be used wisely to ensure smooth bill payments.

I sincerely hope you find a job with a good income soon to expedite the repayment of your debts. Also, I hope you won't repeat this mistake in the future. If I were in your position, I might feel deeply affected by such circumstances.

But the analysis of his wrongdoing is so exact that I wonder why he risked a period of two years necessary to recover in case it goes wrong. If you are able beforehand to calculate the cost of your action like that, I mean it also takes a lot to go for it if you know that it takes two years until you can finally breath normally again in terms of financials. On the one hand, it is a sad story because I wish nobody to have bad times ahead of them, but on the other hand it is a little bit shocking to see that he went for it regardless of the consequences.

But that is what seems to be the result for Sevilla, dropping points again if they can't score a late goal and I doubt they will. Their home game performance is that of a team that gets relegated by the end of the season given that they are even worse when they play away from home. Now they are going to have 10 points in 8 home matches, which is 1.25 points at home per game and in 19 games they could get less than 24 points. This season will be a catastrophe for them if they can't finally get some of their potential set free and improve their play.
Sevilla is still too disappointing, I mean they are still very difficult to improve their form. This season Sevilla have only been able to win 2 of 14 matches, but they have managed to draw 7 and lose 5 of them. Of course, this is not a pleasant result for them, but poor finishing is always a problem besides their weak defense.

I think Sevilla needs and must bring in several quality players in the next transfer market to boost the team's performance. They are too good to be relegated like this, so they should be able to get up and fight to get back to their good form. Lucas Ocampos has not been in his best form in the last 3 seasons, in fact he has been just as bad this season especially in 13 appearances. Lucas Ocampos has only scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 13 appearances, so I think he should get competition by bringing in other players. Youssef En-Nesyri isn't very good either, but he has scored 5 goals in 13 appearances this season.

More quality players is definitely an issue that they need to solve urgently and they almost were beaten in the game against Villareal because a last minute goal was given and then revoked some moments later. They did at least get that one point, but this can't be satisfactory for them at all. Sevilla used to be a club that was always respected within La Liga because they were able to beat every team although their best times in La Liga are quite a while ago. But now everything is pointing towards Segunda division if it goes on like this.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 03, 2023, 07:25:14 PM
Sevilla performed slightly better in home matches compared to away matches. They managed to get 9 points in 7 home matches. 2 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. Although opponents Villarreal's performance has been poor this season, this team is experienced enough. Sevilla will not want to drop points against it. Sevilla, on the other hand, are also looking to stay away from the relegation zone. The team is 15th in the points table. The match is equally important for both the teams. So it is very difficult to select the favorite team in this match.

Im doubting napoli to play in UCL next season as the competition is very strict right now.

The season is still quite long, so there is still a big chance for Napoli to enter the UCL. Napoli's current situation looks worse than last year. Several players left, replacement coach Spalleti also did not make good changes. There are many rumors about players who are interested in big European clubs. Like Osimhen, it seems he is of interest to Real Madrid. Napoli currently cannot protect their best players from leaving. It seems that they are business oriented and winning the League is a bonus. So it seems that if their performance is not very bad this is still normal.
Napoli's position has been on my mind. They're not as strong as last year, and the coach and player changes haven't helped. Still a competent team, but hardly 'wow' anymore. They're in transition, attempting to find their footing. They may have to focus on the Champions League because winning Serie A appears unlikely with their current squad. Seeing a talented team struggle to keep up is sad, especially after showing so much potential. Osimhen's predicament is intriguing. He appeared devoted to Napoli, but recent troubles and rumors of interest from Real Madrid make me wonder what will happen. The scenario is difficult for Napoli. Keeping their greatest players is important, but focusing on business might lead to huge changes. Today's Inter Milan match is crucial. Not just the result matters, but also whether they've kept their battling spirit despite the obstacles.

It is a game at home for Napoli, but the comeback qualities that Inter Milan has demonstrated against Benfica Lisbon and the record they have in the Serie A so far and on top of that the strongest defense, all of that makes me doubt that Napoli has an advantage here. A draw is the most probable result in my opinion, but a win would be so important for Napoli as that would get them back into the top 4 with the chance to climb further and consolidate their position when they play against Juventus Turin and then Roma two weeks later. Maybe I was too early believing that Napoli won't be in for the title this season. I'll wait for this game to be played.

Yes but consistency needs to be on quite a high level as they have Tottenham and Newcastle behind them, both of which I think will become the biggest threat to Aston Villa as I believe they are a bit better. Maybe with Tottenham I am wrong, but Newcastle should make up for some of the games they didn't play that well very soon. A top four finish for Aston Villa would be outstanding for them. I don't have the slightest idea when they had such an amazing finish for the last time. Is it decades ago?
Consistency is most needed by all Premier League teams if want to defend their top position standings, learned from Tottenham Hotspur success managed top position until matchday 10 but inconsistency performance on last three matches make their position drop from top fourth place. Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have up their level performance if want secure top fourth position standing because many teams on the top performance exactly Aston Villa success lead on champion league spot standing.

In this week match, Aston Villa against Bournemouth and not much problem for winning result but Tottenham Hotspur have face Manchester City will the loss record will go on or Spur will recovery to winning trend and pressure Aston Villa on top fourth position.

I like Tottenham but they are a good example to see what happens if a team starts to play less effectively. It is not their fault I think because I was surprised by their start into the season and instead thought they would be more like the 5th or 6th rank for most of the time, but they did great and could not keep going.

Today it is not looking good for them against Manchester City, which I think was taken into account, but it means they continue their negative series in results.

Truthfully, Im not holding my breath waiting for Manchester United to do something amazing. Theres no reason to be optimistic about their chances this season based on their past performances. They've been losing to Brighton, Tottenham, and even Arsenal. Nobody is doing well, not just the big names like Bayern Munich. Honestly, they couldnt even beat Copenhagen and Galatasaray at home. Its not likely that they will quickly recover against Bayern. The club needs to rethink its approach and maybe even its leadership. We were looking for change from Ten Hag, but it hasnt happened yet, and its been months. He might give up for good on the last day of the UCL soccer games.

Hell of course not... No confession and sincerity needed to say that Manchester United is rubbish this season, and in my honest (Tongue) opinion, they were also trash last season. But many other teams were trash and then it came down to who is most trash and who is least trash and for some reason Manchester United managed to be less trash than Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea. That is how they got into the Champions League. It certainly wasn't because of impressive performances and great coaching by ten Hag.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 03, 2023, 03:25:15 PM
For the match Sevilla vs Villarreal i am thinking to bet for Villarreal this because Sevilla performance was very poor this season and they have to fight to avoiding relegation zone besides that Sevilla last winning on Laliga was happened on September while they can beat Almeria but since that match Sevilla has through an 6 matches in Laliga without the winning results and actually this is also risky bet because Villarreal also is not in the good shape because from 14 matches Villarreal only able to gets 4 wins but at least Villarreal performance was slightly better than Sevilla and during this season too Villarreal has been able to gets the winning results from away matches even their away matches records is slightly better than their home matches records and Villarreal win has high odds @3.45
I don't have a favorite in this match, although I agree that Villareal are better than Sevilla for now, but still that difference is not big but a very small difference. Sevilla need a win, and so do Villareal. Both teams will definitely take advantage of this match to win, with that fact I think a draw is a fair result for these two teams.
Sevilla have the advantage of playing as the host, but Villareal also come with the target of stealing points. Sevilla need to be careful with Villareal, as well as Villareal.

I have no confidence in Sevilla's performance. I can't remember the last time this team won La Liga. The team is performing very badly now. Out of 13 matches they have won only two matches. Sevilla's bad situation this season is due to bad defense. However, the opponent Villarreal's defense is also quite weak. This is why the match is likely to be competitive.

Matches between these two teams are almost always competitive. In the last 5 matches between these two teams, Sevilla won 2 matches and drew 2 matches, Villarreal won 1 match. Villarreal last won against Sevilla in 2021. However, I would refrain from betting on this match. As Sevilla have performed in their last matches, it is more than possible to share the points in this match.

Oh my god I was reading your post and thought that there is some truth to it that it is hard to recall when Sevilla won their last game. I gave it a shot and now found that they won their last La Liga game on 26th September! I am amazed for how long they have been without success now. But besides that the only win they had was in the first round of the Copa del Rey against Quintanar and I have no idea which league they are, but that ended 0-3 for Sevilla. They are in the middle of a storm and it is worse than last season.

Napoli's strength is no longer the same after changing coaches and changes in players have greatly affected Napoli's performance, but in terms of performance in the Champions League, this club still has a chance to continue its journey, but getting the title in Serie A seems very difficult because the current remaining players will not be able to. dividing performance in different competitions so it is possible that Napoli will have to give up the series A title and have to focus more on the champions league.
Today I want to see the performance of Napoli who will host Inter Milan and I want to see whether this new coach will have a positive impact on Napoli or will only result in defeat because Inter is currently in a very strong condition.

But Napoli in my opinion couldn't be expected to uphold what they have achieved last season as they are not able to recruit star players like other big clubs and I think what it needs to stay at the top after a great season is strong player reinforcements and investment in player quality. If you start with about the same team with no extra added competition within the squad and no highly motivated new players, it can become difficult with some of the changes that needed to be made to keep playing with the same dedication as the season before. I thought that there was a pivotal point for them when they got knocked out in the Champions League. They became weaker afterwards.

Álvaro Morata is a player who has perfect performance in his team and he was an effective player for Atletico Madrid so far. Álvaro Morata scored 12 goals in 17 games they had and this is amazing for this player but Álvaro Morata was about to join Barcelona two years after Xavi contracted him. He could shine in Barcelona, however, there is still the chance for Álvaro Morata to join Barcelona soon.

I think signing Alvoro Morata would not be a good step from Barcelona because he already turned down at 32. If Barcelona signs him, they will sign another striker after the next two years because he is already 32 and the average player can hardly play until 35. And anyway, there are many young and talented players apart from Alvaro Morata. If Barcelona must sign a striker, then they should prefer young players instead of old players so that young players can contribute their skills for a long time and go to a club. Well, in my opinion, this will not be a good signing, just to fulfill the temperory requirement and nothing else. I think Barcelona should prioritize signing strikers like Kallyan Mbappe and Haaland. Yes, it is true that he is an expensive player, but in reality, he can give you more contributions than his value means to win trophies for the club.

So I mean to say that Alvaro Morata is just nothing but a vast sum of money. And Barcelona has already been stuck with financial critics. What do you think is good or not?
Alvaro Morata is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in Spain and that's why it's absolutely understandable that Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is very keen in signing the Spanish international to the Camp Nou. But at the age of 32 years, Alvaro Morata is already a veteran striker and considering the fact that Barcelona also has another veteran striker in the person of Robert Lewandowski, I don't think it's actually a good move to sign Morata to Barcelona. I understand that Xavi Hernandez is a long time admirer of Morata but there are still very young, sharp and energetic strikers out there that are very capable of delivering whichever performance that Hernandez is looking for in Morata and signing such strikers will better deal for the club as they'll have more years to still deliver top football performances for the club than Morata can do.

Serhou Guirassy, Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface and other young big strikers in Europe I think will make a better signing for Barcelona than Alvaro Morata will do

And what you call undoubtedly one of the best strikers in Spain is a player who scores one goal about every two games. It is a little bit more than that, but still roughly it is correct. Barcelona should be looking for the next Suarez or any striker who has the potential to score 30 goals and more. These average strikers like Morata don't win them anything. He is not even close to the top strikers that Barcelona had in the past. Look at his history and see how many goals he scored per game and I think this is not enough for a club like Barcelona. It would be another temporary emergency solution.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: December 02, 2023, 10:13:10 PM
If Messi keeps playing until 2026, there is a high chance for this player to play in the next World Cup in 2026 and he can get into another World Cup with his team but I don't think this time Argentina will achieve the title of the next world cup against so maybe getting retired before next world cup can be a wise move from Messi.

Since winning the World Cup is so hard, it wouldn't be a surprise if they don't win it again. But which team do you think would be strong enough to win the title? I am quite sure that the vast majority will go with France, but I was taught a lesson last time because I was very confident that France would win the final game against Argentina. But I wasn't wrong for the first time. Guessing who is going to win a World Cup title is a losing game because chances are low that someone gets it right. My guess would again be France because I think they have the best chances, but that doesn't mean they are above all other teams.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: December 02, 2023, 08:34:50 PM

The final game in the Champions League against Copenhagen will be a true highlight for them. I think both teams Copenhagen and Galatasaray have a goal in front of their eyes that they did not think would now be so close. Qualifying for the next round would be huge for both of them. But It is not a coincidence as their rank in the league shows. But it is not only the rank, it is also how they are equal points with Fenerbahce. This could become one of their best seasons in a very long time if they can carry on being so strong on the pitch.
Imagine this world without football, one won't enjoy a bit of life especially during weekend. Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş are prominent clubs and winning opponents will only lasts as long as they're able to maintain consistency. Turkish clubs have stand out to be among the best very clubs in UEFA Champions League this season. On a second thought, I always thought these Turkish clubs are only incredible in there domestic league and having no influece outside that league, but it shocking, watching how they transformed to become very competitive in UCL this season.

Turkish clubs are among the best clubs in the UEFA Champions League this season... I don't know why you are talking in the plural form because there is only one club from Turkey, Galatasaray, playing in the Champions League and whether many people agree that they have been among the best clubs in the CL this season is also debatable to say the last. They performed very well in a few games, but saying that they have been among the best means you put them into the same category like Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. I think it is not quite like that! Wink

Manchester United and Newcastle both have been reported to be targeting to sign Guirassy from Stuttgart. The reported fee thought by these teams for him is 15 million pounds. This would be a ridiculous amount to be offered for him honestly. Because there is no way they can sign him for such a small amount.

Stuttgart wouldn't like to let Guirassy go that easy. His market value is 40 million euros. He would surely like to play for bigger teams but this is just a very optimistic offer for him. Both of these teams are rich in the end so they should be increasing their offer way more.

Guirassy reminds me of Kolo Muani who left Frankfurt and PSG paid a whopping 90 million euros or more? I don't know the exact amount, but I don't think that Guirassy is worse than Kolo Muani, but the difference may be the age as Kolo Muani is three years younger. Still when we consider what the market has been looking like in the last few years, 15 million is impossible unless he has that written in his contract. We are also talking about rich Premier League clubs. Stuttgart could possibly ask for 60 million and more. If one of those clubs really wants him, they would also pay that amount.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 02, 2023, 06:50:25 PM
But the reality is that we are talking about an impressive talent no matter how hard he trained. Because reading some of the posts of how he was not born like Messi and had to work for everything, it implies that everyone working as hard could become like Ronaldo (which I highly doubt) and second of all it also implies that Messi didn't work as hard. But to be honest how do even know how hard Messi worked? He is just not the kind of guy who posts his training routines all over Instagram. I couldn't tell for sure whether Messi worked less hard than Ronaldo. Maybe they worked on different things.
Having a mindset like that of Ronaldo is not easy and for anyone to train as hard as he does will be difficult and it’s like his own kind of talent and only a few will have this kind of mentality and be consistent with it. Ronaldo is also talented but not as much as Messi so the hard work elevated him to the same heights as Messi and it doesn’t mean Messi doesn’t work hard too. Ronaldo’s work is all round while Messi might be working to improve on particular skills.

Again, let me ask you, what proof do you have that Ronaldo works harder than others? I don't have any proof and please don't use social media as your most reliable source here or otherwise I will start posting one picture more per day showing my body of steal and claim I am working harder than Ronaldo. Some people have a better physique than Ronaldo, love soccer and could never come close to him. All this talk about his mindset and how he works harder than anyone else has always been a major part of his marketing strategy. I am not arguing against the fact that he is working hard, but repeating all the time that he works harder than others is nothing but unproven claims. I can't say whether it is true and I want to know how so many people seem to be able to verify it is true.
Everyone in the world is aware that Ronaldo is the most hardworking football player there is. In addition to the images and videos of him that circulate on social media, many players who have worked with him since his Real Madrid days often talk about his dedication to work, including how he arrives at training early and stays late to complete extra training sessions. Not one, not two, not three players—all of whom play for separate teams—made the same comments about his hardwork, his teammates at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus all said the same thing about him. So, what do you think of their claims? Did he pay them to make those claims as part of his marketing strategy?
He built himself that way, and you should applaud his efforts because I don't think there is a player that will arrive to training before everyone else and leave hours after everyone else has left and still get home to train.  It's not normal, so don't criticise him.

But this is what I mean, you make your own definitions for work. But does work mean in a sports world? Mental training, good nutrition, physical training, other methods help professionals elevate to the next level. Maybe Ronaldo spent half an hour more at training on average per day than Messi, but how does anyone know what Messi did all the time? Or any other player who is fully dedicated, working their asses off. There is a huge number of things that can count as work, but if you refer to the pure physical workload, maybe you are right. But if there is a defender who doesn't score any goals and doesn't win any titles, but works as much as Ronaldo, do you think people would also talk as much about him? Or is there a correlation not only between the work and the success, but also between the success and the talk about Ronaldo? But this leads nowhere, let's agree that Ronaldo is the hardest working human being on the planet.

"It's not normal, so don't criticise him."

Could you please elaborate where you found specific criticism? Contextualizing something or talking about relations to other hard working people is no criticism. It is about putting things into perspective.

515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: December 02, 2023, 06:40:29 PM
Messi is indeed a big factor and their idol, but you can't call him their key player anymore, several others are performing as good as him lately, Otamendi, being a defense, was the one who scored against both Brazil and Paraguay, likely the two harder games Argentina actually won in these qualifiers (still, the harder one for Argentina was their defeat against Uruguay, they were overwhelmed)
I think today's Argentina can defeat Brazil or France even without Messi

He is still a key player even he is not the same as King Messi a few years ago, any teams against Messi team will set up the defense strategy to mark him.

Argentina still needs Messi for at least 2-3 years ahead and he will always become a key player there, maybe he will retire after the World Cup 2026.

I think it is more of a mutual dependency as Messi loves the game and wants the excitement that the Argentinian team can give him. The Argentinian people of course. Messi is a genius that can produce special moments in a game every time, but his game becomes more about passing the ball spaces that nobody else can identify that quickly and then serve as precisely. He is also more about free kick goals. His dribbling skills will decline in speed within the next 3 years I think, but I would still appreciate to see him play. With the role he has in the team, 38 years doesn't sound like too high of an age to still play a World Cup.

Valencia performance not quit well such as Athletic Bilbao and not difficult opponent team for Girona next match after losing points last match from Bilbao, Girona dropped to 2nd position although have the same points and lead goals productivities from Real Madrid but have conceded many goals and loss first meeting make them have been under Real Madrid position on current La Liga standings awhile. Both top teams between Madrid and Girona will face weakness opponent team with Real Madrid vs Granada and sure not problem for winning three points. Looks the same with Girona regarding the opponent team upcoming match have inconsistent performance and Valencia dropped on 9th place will be easy for Girona defend the second position.

I think interested match in this week Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid, draw result will be more advantage for Madrid and Girona because both teams have four points left from Madrid and Girona points.

Girona must stay down to earth and wait for their chance when the others have their issues. If they don't lose contact to the top, the chance could come when Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico play in the final rounds of the Champions League. Maybe they will try to give some of their players a rest from time to time and take some risks in La Liga. But before I get into speculation about player rotation, Girona has to make sure that they are still around when the time has come.

That will certainly be a good time for Girona to get more points and remain balanced at the top of the table. They have done well to reach there but the harder part of it is maintaining their position there which is the most difficult aspect of it. We can’t say how far these teams will go in the champions league but I feel they will have to hold on for a longer time at that top spot before they can get this opportunity they’ll be waiting to grab to help sustain them more in the first position. We all know that it will be very hard for Girona to win the league but nothing is impossible with hardwork and perseverance.

I think one way to make some guesses about the required performance of Girona to have a chance at the end of the season is the average number of points that title winners won in the last few years. It often was close to 90 points and then it becomes obvious that this is a huge challenge for them. I also think that Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid won't lose many points easily. Maybe they will lose some here and there because of a draw, but I expect Real Madrid especially to go very close to 90 points and maybe more than that. If Girona wants to play for the title, something impossible is needed Smiley

Aston Villa would have to keep playing out of the ordinary and it is more likely that they lose track of the others as soon as they lose a game they should have normally won. But we will soon have the answer how far Aston Villa could go this season as they are playing against Manchester City in one week and against Arsenal just three days later. After those two games I think we will have a better idea of what they are up to.
I don't think that would be enough to judge them because this season, they currently as lost 3 games but still sit 4th on the table but still having same points as Liverpool, who are above them by Goal difference. Aside all this Chelsea is a proof why you can't judge them with the big teams, Chelsea has done well against Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City but against smaller teams they been awful. All Aston villa needs to make top 4 is to be consistent and not just winning/drawing against the big teams

Yes but consistency needs to be on quite a high level as they have Tottenham and Newcastle behind them, both of which I think will become the biggest threat to Aston Villa as I believe they are a bit better. But that wouldn't create a surprise-the-world-effect at all when Manchester United wins that game. They are a mediocre Premier League team and Bayern Munich is qualified for the next round already. Would it be that surprising when Manchester United wins the game? If they manage to qualify for the next round, that would be a surprise because they would also need Copenhagen and Galatasaray to tie their game. But from what they have shown so far in the Champions League and in the Premier League, I think barely anyone hopes that they make it.
However, sometimes when playing against strong teams, Man United exceeds expectations, sometimes they can match or win. But who knows, in this UCL, especially if the opponent is Bayern. I personally still believe that Bayern will win. However, that doesn't mean underestimating Man United. Oh yes, apart from that, Man United's chance of qualifying for the next group is very small. One of the conditions is if Man United wins against Bayern, and on the other hand if Copenhagen vs Galatasaray ends in a draw. so Man United has that chance.

If we focus on this season, which were those strong teams that Manchester United exceed expectations against? They lost against Tottenham, Arsenal, Brighton, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Newcastle, then also against Copenhagen and Galatasaray at home. I am sorry but I can't see where they exceeded expectations this season. This is why I hope that they now get kicked out and this drama surrounding them comes to an end. It isn't exactly a pleasure to watch them play in the top games. Those times are over and they need to adjust a lot of things or come up with some significant changes.

DO you expected with Sevilla come back to Europe League after failure with Champion League? I want to see Sevilla appearance become the winner two consecutives time with Europe League trophies, but need magician if can take three points away against Lens automatically will get one spot trough playoff round ticket.

Sevilla is a team that is currently dominated by old players. The intensity of the matches in UCL is fast tempo. The average player is over 30 years old, of course some of their physiques may no longer be able to face young opposing players. I think, This is the cause of Sevilla decline in performance. If Sevilla loses in the last match, then there will no longer be a chance for Sevilla to play in UEL. This reminds of Milan's tragedy when they were too comfortable with old players in the past and struggling in domestic and even absence for UCL for a long time.

I guess this season Sevilla is facing the truth because to be honest, how likely is it that a season when they are so bad in La Liga ends with the Europa League title and the Champions League participation?

Just look how long they haven't won any title in La Liga and now they are going to feel the consequences. I think there is no backdoor for them this time and Lens tied the game against them in Spain. They now need to tie it again and will instead go to the Europa League. It would be a surprise if Sevilla makes it, and it would also be fun but I don't believe they will do it this year.

If Sevilla manage to beat Lens in the last match of the group phase, then Sevilla will finish in third place. If that happens, then of course Sevilla will return to playing in the Europa League in this knockout phase. But yes, even if for example Sevilla returns to playing in the Europa League, but it is unlikely that Sevilla will have the same luck as last season. Because ya, we have realized that the Europa League this season has strong candidates for the trophy and thus, if Sevilla does not get lucky then it is impossible for Sevilla to get the Europa League trophy again. Because yes, basically the competition in this season is more difficult and also, the big teams in the Europa League have also certainly realized the Sevilla scenario which will certainly be a serious consideration as well.

They had strong candidates last season as well, but Sevilla did show a different face in the Europa League and outplayed teams like Manchester United and I think Juventus Turin, but even with some fantasy I don't believe that Sevilla could do the same thing again. Last season they have done pretty well in most of the Europa League games, but this time they are bad in all competitions. Switching gears seems to not be possible for them and they are having the same problems in La Liga again.

Juventus now have a real opportunity to become the leaders of the standings... They have an absolute lead in the game and I hope that the second half for Juventus will be no worse than the first... However, Monza have not lost their last five home matches...

Currently Juventus and Inter do not have a considerable point, the 2-1 thin victory obtained by Juventus faces Monza to get with difficulty because Monza is very dominating the match, if Gatti did not make the last goal for Juventus in the 94th minute "then the match will be ended in a draw, if tomorrow Inter lost or ended in a draw with Napoli, the position of Juventus at the top of the standings would last long enough.

It's been a big win for Juventus tonight and a superb strike from Federico Gatti gave them the winning goal in the 90+4 minutes before the referee blew the final whistle that was really amazing and a very tough corner they passed through to get all three points from the home team Monza. Currently Juventus is leading in the league and it's going to be a bit difficult to pick Inter Milan to be favourite against Napoli since the hit man of the Napoli team Victor is back from injury.

But it was still hard work for them and that is what I would still criticize about them. They scored 22 goals in 14 games and this often puts them into a position where they need to sweat it out until the final whistle is blown. But normally they have the quality to finish the game much earlier. It is not rare so far that they need to score the decider late in the game or have some breathtaking chances against them and need to get lucky because their opponents can't score.
