Hashratio isn't $1/GH. Be fair. Hashratio is $1.38/GH and also 1.13W/GH. I'm still waiting to see who buys a miner which requires 9kW and how many miners will own that big monstrosity. Reminds me a bit of BFL's MiniRig. Only a couple of people actually owned it (actually I don't think anyone outside of BFL's circle had one but I may be wrong). SP-10 and their 75 °C-80 °C 's at 1.46 TH/s too hot for my home. I can hold him in room 18 °C, it requires me extra electricity cost , which makes it very expensive miner. Far more than 1.13W/GH. So I hold him mining 1.02 TH/s , fear of the overheating . My miner hashratio is not $1.38/GH, but $3.8/GH taking the purchase price $3200 and paid taxes $640. |

I created new FW version that has option to customise DC2DC current (1.3.31-experiment).
If you have COLD ambient temperature (<25C) and slow corner May batch unit:
Set

DC2DC current limit to 63
AC2DC limit to 1265
start voltage to 0.68
max voltage to 0.73
fans to 80%
------
and you just might get about ~1.5.
If you don't have slow corner May unit or don't know what Asic corner unit you have, set start voltage to 0.660. I didn't try it but it might give you a bit more.
Just monitor the DCt column in the ASIC stats that it is not over 90, and I don't know how stable it is, so if you leave it over night you might loose hash rate if it falls.
It's in custom FW downloads, 1.3.31-experiment, only for the brave for now.

I really want to purchase two SP10 units, but if the efficiency won't be that great due to the heat, then I might as well get some S2's instead. They aren't THAT much cheaper, but still cheaper.

SP 10 is not for use in the home. Very , very loud,.Very hot. We had today 30 degrees C. In miner room 36 degrees C vent in. vent out. The Antminer Patch 4 outcoming airtemperature was 64 degrees , Antminer Patch 2 outcoming airtemperature was 59 degrees and downcloked SP-10 temperature Temp Front / Back 38 °C / 78 °C Mining Rate: 1.09 Ths -manual voltage setting : Start Voltage 0.615 , Maximum Voltage 0.615 , Fan Speed 90% Most of the top KNC with six november module Avg.Hash Rate not cloked 1025 Gh/s , the most hotter Asic temp max 71,0 C SP-10 is a good in server room. 'll take it next Week to another air-conditioned room (7Kw cooling inverter) Probably I buy a few more. |

I found power cord and connects to 220V, then start.spminer.io , I saw miner IP address , Click an this, after that "admin" "admin" I saw page with agreement details - and after that, turn off the UPS. I did not sign up anymore. IP address do not let the log on, I only got to page start.spminer.io and saw miner working. in my case $3200 and I'm not happy about it. 20% of this is customs cost. before i did sent a letter sales@ SP-10 already shipped yesterday. with the cost of customs 1.5BTC, It can easily become the most expensive miner, I've bought last 2 month. Hovever, the bitmaintech Antminer S2 (patch2 , patch 4) quality is very poor -immediately worked one of the four miner, others needed a repair - You can buy it today 4.5BTC +customs costs . Perhaps goes SP-10 cheaper, then I buy more. |
