Ugly...it took numerous emails, photos and posts to get syscooling to offer to replace one of my first two pumps which is leaking/non-functional.  They said a day or two ago that they would "arrange shipping".  To date, they have not contacted me with any sort of tracking number or other confirmation that they have actually mailed a replacement pump. One 1TH/s miner has now been down for a week.  This coupled with the fact that I was also unlucky enough to receive one of the version 1 harnesses with a short which fried a fan header on one of my first C1s has left me with a very poor opinion of syscooling.com and I have to question BitMainTech's choice of partners.

You can use one pump for two  miners. My one set of C1 works from the  beginning only with one pump, two miners, two radiators. Another pump  was D.O.A.  There is no replacement sent for syscooling and I've been "too lazy" to leave them negative feedback..
I'm still waiting a bit.

mr Tupsu, may you pls post the picture of your setup? 2miners,2radiators, 1pump
what is the temperature sir?
is it going to be ok if we make it like this?
1st Miners -> Radiator -> Pump -> Miner -> Radiator -> back to 1st Miner

The ambient room temperature is there 20 degrees Celsius . Miners temperatur max 45

"...They are also going to have a Bitcoin Black Friday special that will
bring the price down to $695 and run through Cyber Monday...."

Do you acknowledge that it was wrong  to write

RMA time.

He had a dying board, we asked him to post additional info to see if we could get him up and running without an RMA. It wasn't possible, so I confirmed he needed to RMA. What are you talking about?

Look at the image again and search frequency 218,75M
Now do you understand what I'm talking about ?

For Dogie, regarding my issue,

I have power cycled, rebooted, checked connections, reset to defaults, reloaded firmware,, and still cant seem to get these chips to pop up,,

out of the 11 that we have this is the only issue.

we have 9 more on the way, should get them today!

Also I noticed people talking about pools,, we use miningrigrentals to rent our gear but when it isnt rented,, My favorite pool to use is Bitcoin Affiliate Network,

They have ports specifically for difficulty *2048* so if you choose the proper port for your miners you dont have to worry about the share Diff as it is locked in.

They also pay per share so your not waiting on the pool to find a block to get paid,, they pay every 2 hrs per share,, and they are paying 10% OVER as a bonus.

No. No overclocking is guaranteed or even supported.

Do you acknowledge that it was wrong  to write

RMA time.

or Bitmaintech paid author simply does not make mistakes ?

Indeed RMA time?

If my S4  can not handle with frequency 218,75M ,  Can I require  RMA ?

Bitmaintech only writes  :
Specifications:  * Over clocking: About 10%, but not guaranteed
and S4  arrives default with  frequency  200M (default) not 218,75M

I need an RMA as well . At frequency  250M  S4 had 13 dead chip ( 13  X )  and only works at a speed of 2200Gh/s

Or is the limit of the RMA   frequency 218,75M  as shown in the picture?

I am at 1.5.8, I just reapplied it to see and it didn't make any difference. Once the intake temp drops to 0 or lower it stops hashing. I'll get about 100 shares processed and then it stops mining. After several minutes the entire unit will reboot and go through the same sequence.

Are You did not read the specification ?

BTC Guild fee is 2% per their site unless I'm missing something..

https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=support&section=howamirewarded

"((Block Value + Transaction Fees) / 10) - Pool Fee (2%)"

I like the antpool 0%, but I seemed to get far more rejected shares with antpool 1.5% vs only 0.5% on btc guild, and antpool doesn't give me near the metrics that btc guild does. If antpool could give me some metrics like shares contributed and rejected and what percentage of each block I'm receiving I would probably switch back. Antpool, please give me something more than just my hash rate and give me some numbers to back up what I'm getting paid. Perhaps even give a little description on how your payout structure works??

When I used it, was still 3% ,  but it was some time ago.
Proof http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/btc-guild/
GHash.io – 0% mining pool fee, PPLNSG payout system, merged mining NMC/DVC/IXC
Eligius – 0% mining pool fee, CPPSRB payment system, no registration required
BTC Guild – 3% PPLNSG, 7.5% PPS pool fee, merged mining NMC

1891  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 25, 2014, 11:22:39 PM
It's all going to be based on Luck and how much hashing is done by the pool. To compare the 2 that I have used Antpool and BTC Guild.

From Nov 18th-24th Antpool has found 55 blocks using approx 20 PH/s and BTC Guild has found 62 blocks using approx 16 PH/s. It all based on luck but the more PH/s is running the more likely you are to find a block a little faster, but also keep in mind the more PH/s the pool is running, the lesser your share payout will be. I just got my S4 up and running Saturday and i spent 24 hours on Antpool and earned 0.0154 bitcoin and 48 hours on BTC Guild has earned me 0.032 with some pending shifts yet to payout. My 24-hour earning on BTC Guild is showing 0.02 right now, but that will probably go down because today's luck has not been that good and we've only got 2 blocks today.

Do not forget Antpool fee is 0% and BTC Guild has 3% fee.
1892  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 25, 2014, 10:34:21 PM

Does that actually make sense in your head? 0.24 $/kWh is my electricity cost, not AM's. What I compared was how much it would cost me to run an SP20, compared to the maintenance fees for AMHash. Despite your protestations to the contrary, that is an apple to apples comparison.

Like I said, if I was running an SP20 from home it would cost me $0.0039 per Gh/s per day. AMHash's maintenance fee is 42% lower than that and the up front cost per Gh/s is lower too. Sure, you may be able to underclock the SP20 to consume 747 W, giving a hash rate of 1353 Gh/s but then you've increased the cost per Gh/s to 125% for 81.5% of the power consumption. Even with such an underclock I'd still be paying $0.00318 per Gh/s per day, almost twice AMHash's maintenance fee.

If someone pays only 0.1 $/kWh, it will be cheaper than AMHash's maintenance fee.
1893  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 25, 2014, 08:27:33 PM
Just because you are mining on a cloud contract, does in no way negate the electricity costs.

Like I said, if I was running an SP20 from home it would cost me $0.0039 per Gh/s per day. AMHash's maintenance fee is 42% lower than that and the up front cost per Gh/s is lower too. Your math is wrong.  I  pay 0.1 euros per kilowatt-hour in EU.  This makes for 1200W   2.88EUR per day
Your math  $0.0039 per Gh/s per day  0.0039x1700=6,63$  This makes it 0,22$ per Kw/h

Can the fans be replaced with something quieter? I bought two of these and they are super loud.

BTW: I am we6jbo on here however I don't remember what email I used years ago.

I would wait to see if we get fan profiles via firmware first.

....

@ dogie. would a 1600w psu cover a c-1 and two s3's or is it just cutting it too close?
Thanks

Only EVGA Supernova G2 1600W will be able to do it.

http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=120-G2-1600-X1

hey i was looking at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159158 16x pcis... should only need 8 to run 1x c1 and 2x s3's
....

Do not buy it. You  need single rail PSU.
1897  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 23, 2014, 01:05:04 AM
Want to put a permanent speed of the S4  fans ?
for example  Speed 2,520 (r/min)

Here is the software solution.
Miner General Configuration. Setup. Stop running when temprerature is over 80℃

You'll need to make a restart. (switching off PSU )

After restart, all temperatures is 0℃ and fan speed 2,520

Warning.  Use on its own responsibility in a cool environment.

I'm just hoping someone who has played around with an S4 a lot or staff from BitmainTech would be able to shed some light on this matter because so far this has not been easy to manage remotely with the issues I have been having, for example with 1 board randomly over-heating when compared to the other 3 and hash rate changing after reboots.

After reading the posts about the voltage regulators not functioning like they should I am a little worried this might be a similar problem or the same thing. And with the stock power supply already close to max it's not good if it is.

This is a software problem. Sometimes i have it too, after power failure.

You can stop function -  Stop running when temprerature is over 80℃ - only thing  you need  restart miner with PSU manually.
