Cryptsy works well most of the time, and has the benefit of being one of the largest exchanges and being high volume. But in my opinion, TEK has too much risk only using one exchange. All of those complaining need to put their words to action and get a new exchange. I recommend coin-swap, they do charge 1 btc, but can get you up and running in 24 hours. Allcoin is also an awesome exchange, but you would have to do some work in the trollbox to get on there since voting is now disabled. https://coin-swap.net/newcoin 845TEK Processed. Just to let everyone know... Just bought few TEK from cryptsy, did withdraw, and minutes later received it...
Seems they are sorted. (Test first to be safe IMO)
There is nothing new for me. Still 1775 TEK pending. They only pay small amounts immediately. For larger amounts, they do not have the money. Why pay, when you can 40% more on Monday. |

Save wallet.dat and remove old wallet or is it just a new Tekcoin exe file?
It's just a new Tekcoin-qt.exe or daemon (though you'll have to compile that from source). You're wallet.dat and blockchain data in the .tekcoin (linux) or appdata\roaming\Teckcoin (Windows) folders are not affected. Just run the new client instead of the one you had previous. Unfortunately, there is nothing useful. I use on the computer where the money is Win8 . I copied and over wrote all downloaded files - appdata\roaming\Teckcoin . After reboot at startup still starts up the old wallet design - tekcoin version v1.0.1.0-g99999-TEK It run Tekcoin.exe if run Tekcoin-qt.exe, I get an error message WIN7 computer The protsedure entry point TLSv_1_1_client_method could not be located on the dynamic link libray SSLEAY32.dll |

Exchanges generaly keep majority of coins in offline (cold) wallets so it can happen that big withdrawals are delayed. With TEK, extra trouble might come in a form of too many
really small unspent inputs - just imagine if someone is PoW mining and sending mined coins to Cryptsy as soon as they matured or sending just coins staked from 1 TEK block
rewards, 1000 TEK would be 1000+ transactions which means if you attempt to withdraw that much TEK in one go and Cryptsy picks 1000+ smaller unspent inputs then the size
of transaction could be so big that Cryptsy TEK wallet would refuse to create it and throw an error instead. Just withdraw less coins per request and it should work fine.
