You have not yet explained why you need the best efficiency factor miners, If your electricity is free of charge.
Is it because of greediness ?

Thanks for the information.
Are you using the S5 or the S5+ firmware on the S5 / S5+ combos?
S5 firmware , because S5 + firmware does not support the function "Customize the fan speed percentage"

EDIT. Mining revolution 😜 Upgrade our existing S5 up to 2,9 TH/s 😜You can run it with S5 controller (18 pins) and with S5 or with S5+ software. You can put up to 2 x S5 + boards to work with the existing Antminer S5 One Antminer S5 and one S5+ single board working together at 2 TH/s see picture below[/b][/size] Click to enlargeS5 and 2x S5+ blades on single S5 controller Click to enlargehttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=858962.0

A miner that's "underwater" at 6.7 cents/kwh isn't going to have much resale factor, but that IS a valid consideration to keep in mind. That's actually my primary CURRENT hope to ever get RoI on my S5s and my SP20E (got into them too late and too expen$ive), though working on undervolting the S5s to help them some when the time comes.
You are simply wrong S5 the correct S5 speed is 2,9TH/s, see mine Click to enlarge

Hey everyone, I'm a little confused on this subject. Bitcoins are limited and about half or a little bit more have been found already. I'm confused on the part when all bitcoins have been found what happens next? Will there still be a way to profit bitcoins by mining? Or is there something I'm not getting right? Let me know, Thanks guys.
you will most likely be dead. why worry? the reason i wrote this is every 2-3 years blocks 1/2 so 50 two 1/2 years 25 two 1/2 years 12.5 two 1/2 years so five years in 6.75 two 1/2 years 3.375 two 1/2 years ten years in i think we last into 2105 or more i will not be around and most others will be gone. why worry? Is this a joke ? https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply

I was referring to the solo pool and I was also referring to
hashnest pacmic v3 which is 24ph.
so the is 68 ph + 14 ph + 24 ph = 106ph
most of the current rise is due to pacmic v3.
I also believe they use s-7's and charge buyers like it is an s-5 so 23826 th in contracts Is just about the diff jump and they are fucking whaling on it.
Since they charge you based on s-5 power rates while they run s-7's (this is my guess)
but if I were them I would be doing it.
If You believe that pacmic v3 is real mining farm with Antminer S5, or that they are pacmic S5 mining in another pool, then you have to be disappointed. It's just a BTC loan paying back with weird counting. All pacmic payments are counted by Antpool blocks timing and blocks number. The more blocks in Antpool get found, then more profitable pacmic is for Bitmain. This mechanic of charging at S5 prices while running S7 or something unknown is also probably applicable to most hashrate on hashnest. Milk users at 97% of Revenue/Cost while in actuality they're running some other(more efficient) hardware while the obsolete hardware are boxed in storage somewhere. Pretty smart.
So will produce free electricity. Find one sucker who will pay for electricity and put profits in your pocket.

I had 2 x used Avalon Patch 1 ( it was only 300 pcs in pach1) But they have now been demolished
|
|
|
AntPool Hashrate is still 69.62 PH/s
They have more hashrate then what is on that pool.Explain why it is beneficial for them? Too much profit, and they want to share it with the another pool owner? They owned really another pool, but this is for solo mining. Total over 14.00 PH/s https://www.antpool.com/poolStatsRankings.htm Any Antpool user can join it.

OK, just made one last RoI calculation estimate, and it appears there is no way I'll ever get RoI on a S7. (my move plans took a bit of a hit, looking like next summer now instead of the end of Nov I was originally aiming for).
I have 2 $100 coupons available, .1 BTC each or best offer.
why are you selling them when you got them for free no disrespect. Do you really believe that Bitmain provides S7 coupons for free ? Bitmain gave me my coupons for free. I used all of them already. You have not bought from them before and got S7 coupons? For their " free" I've already paid the 67 euros, to send back to China two S5+ hashing boards. Probably I will have to pay again "free" if new incoming with 20% VAT of the declared value.

S7 is a vastly better product, but unless you have VERY cheap electric you won't RoI an S7 unless bitcoin price jumps a LOT sometime in the next 6-8 months, or difficulty increased flatten back out to even LESS than the 1.6% they averaged during the first half of this year about immediately.
This is not true.

Tupsu I want to try using an S5 controller with a 1/3.
Can you tell me which of the 4 pin cables are 12v and which are ground?
Thanks

I may guess that a few thousands of Sfards machines are online.
well say 2000 of them so 2000 x 1.7 = 3.4ph or just under 1% my guess is bitmaintech swapped a shit ton of s-7's for s-5's 2000 s-7's in = 9.5 ph take 4000 s-5's out = 4.6ph net gain is 4.9 ph 2x that 4000 s-7's in = 19ph take 8000 s-5's out = 9.2 ph net gain is 9.8 ph So say 3.4 ph in sfards say 9.8 ph in s-7s'some bit fury some knc and 20ph is added on for +5% I think we get this 3 times in a row and then go flat. AntPool Hashrate is still 69.62 PH/s

This is a very good reason to do that... Now you are earning without paying... ¡¡125 S5!! what a good reason... It is not quite so. Yesterday I made the calculations. Over the past two months I've been selling my old miners over 100 BTC and all this BTC are going to Hashnest S5 miners. But I bought all my S7 for "real money", because I believe that BTC will rise this time , as the S7 will shipping. Then again, Bitmain increases the S7 price, and I've already won.

I am just waiting for my machines to arrive and get mining. I am also in the mean time looking for some industrial space to obtain some of that industrial electric to further reduce my costs.
You still have a month to wait....

The great thing for those of us who bought the S5+ is we now have in most cases 3 of the bitmain 240 PSU's. I personally like getting PSU's as I use them for multiple generations of miners.
But yes it is not cheap in this case for the PSU's.
I use for S5+ 2 x APW3-12-1600-B2 and 1x Corsair RM850 Hashnest have the S5 more expensive due to need to install a PSU with the miner. Also, in Hasnest you do not control the buying price, it can drop suddenly. It is a good deal in the long time (+-240 days to roi). Nice, but not enjoying I hate the € 3,500 on electricity bills. Therefore, it is my choice Hashnest. 125x S5 today
