So you are paying well over Bitmain price if the math in my head is right. Have you bought from there? Just seems very very high on price.

Antminer S5 Batch 1 sold for $419 at a time when USD/BTC was at 251.6, so BTC1.665342 March 21st was the cheapest for S5 Batch 5 in archive.org for both USD and BTC at $340 / BTC1.33 (USD/BTC @ 293.39 * 1.33 = $390.21) Currently: $439 / BTC1.491 (USD/BTC @ 294.42 * 1.491 = $438.89) Order Date 2014-12-23 shipped 2014-12-27 Today, they are already over 6 months mined. Must be crazy, to buy the same "shitminer" six months later, for the same price or even more expensively. |

I'm surprised they don't have any controller boards. I do not think they are changeable from S3. If you have 2 C1's on some firmware you are able to run 4 blades on 1 controller. So if you have a second C1 this is way to go.
Have you tried reinstalling on the SD card and see if that makes the board come back to life?
This is not possible. C1 always has four plate. |

Yes. Is it hard to believe, that you really paid $2,599 + 20% VAT for 256 MHs ? For miner, which uses more than 2kW power for 256 MHs with UK power price? One month ago I could have to buy used KNC Titan for 10 BTC 4 cubes, 380 MHs and 1200W. It is still for sale in estonian local market. |

SP20 was one big lie from start to finish. Technical Specs. Effective Hash Rate 1.7 TH/s ± 10% Nobody knows any SP20, which would be works at a speed of 1,7TH/s+170GH/s=1870GH/s Even was almost impossible to achieve 1,7GH/s. With each new purchase SP20, the price had already fallen and previous order had not yet arrived. My 17x SP20 are still working, so I have not had to deal with those horrible ( KNC ) customer service, or had to buy their overpriced spare parts. The only good thing with them is a SP20 software.

Is it possible to adapt this PSU to fit the older style S4?
Not with the PDI connectors but with the ones fitted with a nut and bolt?
Yes. BITMAIN AntMiner APW3-12-1600 PSU Series hat is own separate power board to connect the PCI-E cables with S4 cables. Named S4 Power_Board V1.0  but you still need minimum 210V |
