1161  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining contracts thread - comparison, experiences, FAQ on: April 26, 2014, 06:27:41 PM

yes but on cex you cant sell it right ?

And cryptsy and crycurex pay daily "mining profit" from thouse shares and cex does not right ?

Please correct me if Im wrong Wink As Im not 100% sure how cex contracts work

CEX pays dividends per share whenever a block is solved by GHash.io, their mining pool. If you check blockchain.info, you will see that that is quite often. I used to have 60 GHs on CEX and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They are a trusted site and they get many blocks. And yes, like I said, with CEX dividends it is not once daily, but multiple times (closer to hourly than daily). And of course you can re-sell your purchased GHs! That is where many people make the most profit from- day trading GHs for profit. And of course you get whatever is mined while you hold them. Cex.io also has one of the lowest prices per GH, and future GHs available for much cheaper as well. Here is a link if anybody is interested: https://cex.io/r/0/snarlpill/0/

Currently I hold Mining Contract shares at Cryptsy, MN2 batch to be exact. Love Cryptsy, Very trusted and one of the best cryptocurrency trading platforms out there, in my opinion. If you want to sign up for Cryptsy, do it under my referral link and I'll send you 50 Dogecoin to get you started! Just sign up then PM me with your Cryptsy username! https://www.cryptsy.com/users/register?refid=232173

Good luck and Hope this helps,

1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POT] PotCoin Launches Today 01/21 @ 4:20 on: April 25, 2014, 06:11:54 PM
When will POT rise to 3300+ again you think guys? I bought a bunch at 2183 on Cryptsy, saw it rise to 3300ish where I would have made a decent profit, but I decided to just hold because Potcoin might have a bright future. At the moment I don't have very much BTC left though, and although I would still like to hold POT I suppose, I would still like to see my "Account Value" balance rise.  Smiley
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners Guide to CPU mining DogeCoins - Now with images! on: April 25, 2014, 05:43:55 PM
Could somebody help me out with something please? When I run the batch file I created to start minerd, finally I got it to trigger a box popping up that says- "What program do you want to use to run minerd.exe?" Can anybody tell me how I can get past this, and just have minerd start running from my command line batch file? I am Definitely Not a computer expert. Thanks guys.

1173  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit-mining.co?? on: April 21, 2014, 07:48:56 AM
Bit-mining.co is up, but nothing on the site works.

All emails sent to support@bit-mining.co and contact@bit-mining.co are getting returned.

If you have any information on the name and identity and location of the owners of the site, please provide them.

You have lost all your money and it is time for legal action.

Wow, all I can say is I'm not surprised. I ended up with a lot more BTC than 0.10, and had more invested at bit-mining.co itself. However, I sold all my GHs there instantly at a market price a couple weeks ago, sold all my alts for BTC, then hit withdraw on all my BTC and never looked back. I had noticed problems when I would withdraw my money, supposed to take up to 24 hours, some of mine took much longer (while disappearing) and other users I had seen commenting claimed they had been in the dark waiting for weeks on much larger BTC withdraws. Myself and Many other users there had problems getting our correct mining dividends, Support was rarely ever around and you could rarely hear back from anyone from the site regarding issues.

Anyways, I noticed shit starting to seem funny and the growing list of peoples' problems, along with the fact that Support could never be heard from, and I decided to pack up and leave. The whole of the big Mt. Gox debacle was just before my time starting out in BTC, but I read many users saying that the warning signs had been there in advance. I didn't want to get Goxx'd myself...
I started to believe towards the end that bit-mining did not seem to be solvent when it came to some larger customers cashing out their BTC, or many users all at once. In my case, I was lucky because I had no problems on my last withdraw. I did return to the site to comment on the chatbox telling the regular users there to pack up and leave like I did.

@LorenzoMoney- So is it really all Fubar now? From all I know, I believe the company was located in Toronto, Canada (Def. Canada but may not have been Toronto) and the main support guy commenting claimed to be from Greenville, North Carolina or something. Good luck with everything.

Just now downloading the dopecoin.qt3 guys! I'm assuming it's been updated to protect against the heartbleed bug?
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take My Bitcoins - New Gameshow on: April 12, 2014, 04:54:45 AM
Just watched the first (half) episode and enjoyed it.  Ran a little too long for me to watch but keep it up guys!

No skype, no twitter...I'll have to figure out a way to get involved without 'em.

No you didn't. Unless you watched last week (4/3/14 was the first show). But I also do not have Skype or a webcam. I made my mining guesses and watched the first show last week faithfully, but then was at a loss because I could not connect through Skype. This was not communicated beforehand (that one would need Skype to be able to participate in the show). So, needless to say, I was pretty bummed out.

@cysive - is this something that could be worked out/changed? If not, then I at least suggest letting people know beforehand that they will not be able to participate in your show without Skype. But congrats on pulling off your first 2 (Live) BTC gameshows successfully, that's something to be stoked on.

P.S.- the "hashtag mashtag" tweets you picked on the first show (4/3/14) Suckkkkked. You picked 2 of the exact same shit joke- about taco bell having real meat, April Fools lolololol.... And then some dumbass taco bell vagina joke that was weak as hell.
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preferred Bitcoin logo[POLL] on: April 10, 2014, 07:09:42 AM
Saw the story earlier, was going to post about this- glad I checked first.

Anyways, I also say old, hands down. Someone in the comments said they were surprised to hear Bitcoiners fear change. I don't see it as that, at all. This is not change for innovation or any improvement- in my opinion. This is unnecessary change. The original is so well known now, at least among anybody that remotely follows BTC. Why change? Just because some "industry members" think we will fit in better among society with that? In my opinion Bitcoin isn't about changing to suit the masses, but the masses making changes to accept Bitcoin. Another person said in the comments, instead of changing to an existing Unicode symbol, make suggestions that Unicode adopt the BTC. I agree. And I'm not sure how I feel about "industry groups" trying to make changes, that just doesn't feel right to me.

Don't even get me started on pushing for XBT instead of BTC...  Roll Eyes
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: "I guarantee there will be another Bitcoin price bubble" on: April 09, 2014, 04:27:51 AM
I guarantee that Dogecoin will decrease way less than Bitcoin will do.
Wall Street investors told me that they will rescue doge first if Bitcoin fails, no hoax.

Neither of you can guarantee anything, though personally I sure feel like BTC now is priced much lower than its future worth. I am definitely bullish on it and have faith in the network/community as a whole. I really do hope there is another long journey upwards in price, maybe that would finally shut everyone up who has said that Bitcoin is just a massive Ponzi scheme in itself.

Can't tell if serious or trolling about what you said with Wall Street investors and Dogecoin...
I could kind of justify it making sense in some kind of fucked up way in my head.
1178  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: everyone is saying that Mark Karpeles is bad on: April 08, 2014, 07:14:32 AM
Now I didn't get Gox'd mind you, but I kind of don't want the US go.v (or any other govs) getting involved with taking him to face justice. That is against what Bitcoin is all about. How can we claim to be decentralized and controlled by no government, but want them to step in and get involved when a problem happens? I've heard BTC referred to as the Wild West right now because it's unregulated, and I actually kinda like that metaphor. It's true though, there ARE definitely scammers and gangsters out there. It's up to us to stick together, spread good, trusted word-of-mouth about companies amongst each other, and build a stronger community where only the trustworthy (secure) businesses survive.
