761  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular Bitcoin Game |1% Edge | PVP | Jackpot | Faucet on: October 02, 2014, 03:54:29 PM
I agree, this is strange. I thought my internet wasn't working here at my house because I was trying to load my Blockchain wallet, even though it's showing full WiFi, it won't load. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but none of the BTC sites I'm trying to go to are loading...  btc-e.com, primedice.com, blockchain.info...  all say "This webpage is not available" and I am in the U.S.   Very strange because all of the "regular" websites I'm trying are going through fine. Bitcointalk is working for me also as you can tell.

EDIT: Now all of them are working for me. Very odd that many of us in the U.S. experienced a short "black out" there...
762  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: October 02, 2014, 01:51:51 AM
People like this (manl & DiceBitco.in) make me sick. They show a complete lack of respect towards players while repeatedly stealing from them. This new approach to their scamming (fabricating lost bets after seed randomization) just makes me think that they think we're stupid.

OP- Don't even try to pull some more bullshit and say that the "super mysterious, anonymous rogue developer" has somehow pushed another change in the code. Just don't. Oh- and please post a transaction ID of JoeMattie's (keegan) ~168 BTC of winnings being sent to the address he Tried to withdraw to.
763  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT]: MICHAEL MORIARTY/moriartybitcoin/BitLaunder.com Stole $80K From Me on: October 02, 2014, 12:58:35 AM
Of course I know him thats why I tell everyone he is the most straight up guy I know.He could of took millions of dollars from Silicon Valley in seed funding but refused as he wanted to keep transactions private and they did not. There is no way he ripped anyone of for 125 BTC  he paid it back less his fee.People here are just trying to bring him down by lies and blackmail.Take my advice from someone that knows he is a top rank guy only trying to further the the cause of BTC as the front running crypto currency and thru his efforts it will be.

Okay. So, all of your bullshit aside. If Moriarty or you (Moriarty) repaid rickyjames his 125 BTC, then by all means Please post the transaction ID in this thread for everybody to see. That Would be the Only way to put all of this to rest now wouldn't it? Post the transaction where you Sent rickyjames his ~125 BTC back, at one of the addresses HE provided.

...We'll be waiting. Oh- and don't try to dig up some old transaction from the blockchain of a similar amount; we're not stupid. Otherwise, he and yourself, are disgusting fucking thieves. Why yourself, you ask? Because you are vouching for the "man" that committed this atrocious act. If you don't want to look like a liar and a thief by association, then surely you will push your friend to cough up that trxid?

764  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT]: MICHAEL MORIARTY/moriartybitcoin/BitLaunder.com Stole $80K From Me on: September 30, 2014, 05:06:36 PM
Why is it if you have no probs with Mike your an idiot clown liar but if you are a blackmailer your fine and everyone loves you

I'm assuming you are referring to campycoin?

Yeah, people don't hate campycoin because he didn't Steal $80,000 worth of BTC from somebody, like that moriarty fuck did. And speaking of that, I don't think anyone believes "laura007" is actually a real person, besides moriarty himself. Or are we just supposed to believe that some random user joins the forum, and goes directly out of their way to defend all of moriarty's shitty scam sites? Not buying it.
765  Economy / Gambling / Re: ►►►► PLAY IN A REAL CASINO. REAL GRAPHICS, NO BS - RITZ GRAND CASINO on: September 30, 2014, 04:54:18 PM
I was actually just thinking the other day about RitzGrandCasino and what happened to them. I remember they used to offer one of the highest paying signature campaigns on here, then finally ended it after many successful months, and they thought ending their advertising would not have much of an effect on their business. It looks like maybe they were wrong.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Islamic Finance and Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2014, 03:09:19 PM
Speaking of that, there were users on here with the "Islamic Bank of Bitcoin," and they were offering no-interest loans in the lending section. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=358172.0
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mircea Popescu Questioned by the U.S. on: September 29, 2014, 02:59:21 PM
I just came across his Trilema website the other day, some interesting reads on there, yet the pay-for-credits system to continue reading turned me off a bit. I think I would actually prefer he used advertising for revenue like most sites. Definitely seems like a very opinionated individual though.

What user was he on here? MPOE-PR?
768  Economy / Services / Re: Silver Wallets Signature Campaign on: September 29, 2014, 04:32:27 AM
Yeah, I feel ya. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion. And some people use sig. campaigns to help pay the bills, and that's cool, but I would probably just stay with those, because I feel like OP will just say- move along, unless blazedout419 has already said different about paying in BTC.

I may be a little biased though, I like the silver wallet as you can tell, because I signed up for the campaign.
769  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT]: MICHAEL MORIARTY/moriartybitcoin/BitLaunder.com Stole $80K From Me on: September 29, 2014, 04:15:14 AM
No, the reviews are not from me.

How do we know? This member just signed up just to post this!

Oh Wow! There are 2 posts now from laura007, and guess what the second post is?

"Hey BTC police can you put an end to the lies being spread on here about Micheal Moriarty. This man runs some great bitcoin website including
www.bitplastic.com bitlaunder  www.coinchimp.com and many many more.He is being blackmailed by people here who post bad reviews and want bitcoins to take them down...Thank you"

I find it very hard to believe that laura007 is not moriarty, and his denial means nothing imo.
770  Economy / Services / Re: Silver Wallets Signature Campaign on: September 29, 2014, 04:00:37 AM
I don't see why so many people are so against receiving the coin for the sig. campaign. I think they look pretty badass, and if you believe in Bitcoin then you should believe these assets will appreciate in value over time, simply for being one of the earliest physical bitcoins/wallets. Just imagine if a few years ago you had received a Casascius coin just for a couple months of posting on a forum, look how much those are worth now. Obviously there are differences but you see what I'm saying.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Bitcoin with a Paper and Pencil.... on: September 29, 2014, 01:50:16 AM
Very interesting, and complicated. I wonder if somebody like Rainman, an idiot savant (Google it), would have greater luck with something like this. It also makes me appreciate the technical efficiency of how fast our mining equipment today solves these mathematical puzzles. One can only wonder how powerful mining equipment will be in say, 2030.
772  Economy / Services / Re: Silver Wallets Signature Campaign on: September 29, 2014, 01:28:30 AM

Youve been selected! We appreciate your support.

Sweet! Thanks man. Signature changed and starting with 492 posts for reference. Definitely a cool idea for a campaign in my opinion.

EDIT: Not sure when I will move to next rank, but I will update to Senior Member sig. when I do.
773  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular Bitcoin Game |1% Edge | PVP | Jackpot | Faucet on: September 29, 2014, 12:57:05 AM

fool ..when you start winning big and the game starts "streaking out" you can just tell there is something not right about that when you start seeing back to back 10+ streaks when you start betting up ...not to mention the glitches!!!  Roll Eyes

So you had been winning big? So you must have had some pretty good winning streaks then huh? Do you think winning all of those times in a row on win streaks should be checked out or is rigged? It is variance man. In long sessions of bets you will usually have good winning streaks, losing streaks, and everything in between. Sounds like you should have cashed out when you were up winning big...  And did you verify your bets? What did you see when you checked them? Let me know.
774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I buy Bitcoin via a Credit Card or Paypal? on: September 28, 2014, 11:09:50 PM
You seem to be stuck in the past, my friend. Both Mt. Gox and Liberty Reserve are long gone, and the consensus is actually that Mt. Gox turned out to be the Least reputable exchange.

For reputable Bitcoin purchasing with a credit/debit card, I recommend and can personally vouch for coin.mx (my personal choice besides p2p exchanges) or, I suppose- coinbase.com.
But I'm not a big fan of regulation-heavy Coinbase.

Good luck, and hope this helps,
snarlpill

How fast can you get BTCs when you buy from coin.mx? Are they instant like virwox?

Oh yes, once you get verified (not very hard, you can even take a quick video & send in) you are able to do Instant deposits from Credit/Debit card, and Instant purchases. No waiting 4 days for your coins if you don't have a Visa card like with Coinbase. 4 days in the 24/7 world of cryptocurrencies might as well be 4 weeks to me...  I have bought from coin.mx many times now, and have not encountered a single problem once. Their Support is great if you ever do have an issue or question, and they are nearly always online. Oh yeah- and U.S. based so that if you ever did get Goxx'd or something you would most likely be able to file legal recourse.
But anyways, I am not affiliated with them in anyway, but after so many smooth and fast transactions I have to vouch for them if I ever see anyone asking.

Hope this helps,
snarlpill

EDIT: Never personally dealt with Virwox so I cannot compare them, but I've heard good things.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So which one of you got on ESPN yesterday? on: September 28, 2014, 07:43:31 PM
I sent him 0.001 for helping to spread BTC awareness

Cmon folks - if we want bitcoin to get more exposure, we are going to have to pay these guys better.  .6 is not enough.  Please be a little more generous and send this guy a $10 at least to make it worth their while.  Then more guys will try.  Then more reporters will talk about it.  Then more people will understand bitocin.  Then your value will go up.  It is like paying yourself!!  Do it now.  Double down and send another payment to make up for your cheap ass first payment.

Lol dude. Can't tell if trolling or serious.
You go first, I insist. You go ahead and send him $100 if you like, prove you are not a "cheap ass" like you call me. Personally I think any donation is better than none, 40 cents or other.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So which one of you got on ESPN yesterday? on: September 28, 2014, 07:11:23 PM
Haha that's so awesome. I'll try to send a buck his way today just for the kitty picture

@cccarnation- Please don't spam by copy/pasting other members' posts word for word...  Roll Eyes
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So which one of you got on ESPN yesterday? on: September 28, 2014, 06:23:17 PM

~0.56 received so far, that's awesome, good for him.
I hope that got some people at the game asking about the sign & Bitcoin, and learning about it subsequently.
Also, Instant conversation starter for anyone there who already knows about BTC!

EDIT: I sent him 0.001 for helping to spread BTC awareness  Cool
Rock on.
778  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular Bitcoin Game |1% Edge | PVP | Jackpot | Faucet on: September 28, 2014, 06:07:06 PM
Finally removed the tool tips that appeared when you hovered over certain settings as many people complained this got in the way. Working on knocking out mobile optimizations now, sidebar is now functional on iPhone. We're readjusting some pop-ups/modals to better fit the screen.

etc won't show the tip anymore.

Feel free to keep suggestions coming our way, we'll do our best to address them.

Thank you for the Balance showing now on mobile.

Agreed. Looks great and works great, well done guys.
Although in a weird way I will miss my balance not showing when playing on my iphone. Since I couldn't readily see my balance, I would bet more conservatively, then hit "max bet" to see my balance every so often after doing either really good or really bad. Feel like it gave me a slight psychological edge over the cockiness that comes with seeing yourself doing very well off a few early winning bets. Wink
779  Economy / Services / Re: Silver Wallets Signature Campaign on: September 28, 2014, 05:12:51 PM
I would Love to participate in the signature campaign and be able to receive one of those beautiful silver wallets. This will be the first sig. campaign I have participated in for months, and I promise to post only content-related or enhancing posts. If any of my posts are irrelevant or non-constructive, I promise to not count them towards the total number of posts required. Please let me know the status of this and I will change my signature immediately. It is for both 60 days and 150 posts, correct?

EDIT: I only wish I was a Hero Member. A chance to get a gold-plated, Limited Edition Silver Wallet, just for posting here?  Shocked  Wow, I cannot believe people aren't jumping at this more.
780  Economy / Services / Re: Will make Fine Banners + other size Ads for you, static or motion, Great prices. on: September 27, 2014, 10:31:25 PM
Can you do more modern/minimalist work?

I can sure give it a shot. If you were interested in trying some work, when I have time I could throw together a few samples maybe and see what you think.
I have an idea of what you're talking about with modern/minimalist style, but if you could post or PM an example of the style you have in mind it might help me picture it a bit better. I'm thinking a static ad would probably be better for minimalist.

Thanks,
snarlpill
