601  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Reloadable Fuel Cards & Gift Cards on: December 01, 2014, 05:59:36 PM
Just now had a break at work and sent $10 to the supplied address in the email. I just typed $10 in blockchain.info and hit 'send', which is ~0.0262985 BTC at the moment according to them.

I trust you enough to go ahead and send the $10, but in case something goes wrong or happens, just refund it to the sending address please.

Thanks
602  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Reloadable Fuel Cards & Gift Cards on: December 01, 2014, 01:12:56 PM
Are you still going to buy these today? I will buy one for $7.99 and send $10 for the original load if so, let me know please.
603  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Reloadable Fuel Cards & Gift Cards on: December 01, 2014, 04:19:44 AM
Alright, I have to get up early for work tomorrow, but I will let this sit and send payment for 1 tom. morning. I'll send you a PM after I pay via Bitpay.
604  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Reloadable Fuel Cards & Gift Cards on: December 01, 2014, 04:06:05 AM
Yeah I will check one out. You have the cards on the way to you now right? You've already ordered them?

If you can maintain those low fees and good customer service, I could see you making some good business.
605  Economy / Goods / Re: Reloadable Shell Gas Cards on: December 01, 2014, 03:47:02 AM
A 3% reload fee and $10 minimum amount aren't bad, I will probably end up trying this, just to have a simple option to get gas if I don't have any cash sometime.
How long do you plan on doing this though? For the foreseeable future? What if it wasn't extremely successful and only a couple people bought and frequently used the cards, would you still do it for them? And why the moderated thread?

Answer these questions and I will most likely buy one.
606  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS/WTT] Some Physical Crypto Coins on: December 01, 2014, 03:25:56 AM
You will not see anymore Casascius coins made as far as I know. This new one is a collectible coin made for a football game, I don't see why Casascius Bitcoins would decrease in value at all since they will still be just as scarce.
607  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT]: MICHAEL MORIARTY/moriartybitcoin/BitLaunder.com Stole $80K From Me on: December 01, 2014, 02:38:04 AM
^ Exactly. And not just BitLaunder- this crook runs a whole "Bitcoin Network" of scammy sites. Also the Sherlock Holmes series & Moriarty's fake name have been brought up several times in this thread already.
608  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT]: MICHAEL MORIARTY/moriartybitcoin/BitLaunder.com Stole $80K From Me on: November 30, 2014, 05:08:07 PM
i've been using bitplastic and bitlaunder for a few months and never once had a problem .. both sites do what they're supposed to do. then again I dont load $80k on there :-)

Oh Lord here comes the puppet sheep...

So they work fine, but then again you've never loaded $80k on there?
But if you had...   It would be Okay that they just stole every penny of that from you?

You fucking sheep make me sick...    Go sit on Daddy Moriarty's dick again for a free 0.01 BTC like you probably did with this post...   Roll Eyes
609  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS/WTT] Some Physical Crypto Coins on: November 30, 2014, 01:01:33 AM
I would say, in my opinion from what I've seen- if any physical Bitcoins will hold value in the future then loaded, high-graded Casascius coins will always be the "gold" of that market. I still need to add a Casascius coin to my collection Asap, where I would hold it like an Oz. of .999 gold, just as a long-term stable store of value. I guess someone could call me optimistic though.

I don't know very much about Casascius coins to be honest. I've been wondering are they still being made or are the existing coins the only ones there will ever be?

The existing coins are all there will ever be. Casascius coins are sort of the best of all the coins since it was the first mover in the market. But it's all slowing down.

I think he might be still selling those large bags of aluminum promo coins that a lot of people try to mark way up on eBay and such, but not sure.

However- I did happen to stumble across this gem the other day- a Casascius-made coin for the coin toss at the Bitcoin St. Petersburg bowl game! Obviously not the same type of coin as his name brand is famous for, but I still thought it was really cool to see he is working on releasing another coin- in gold plated .999 silver nonetheless!
All I have to say guys- just Please try to save me a couple to buy before one or two Bulk purchases are made by one of your crew! Wink

Sorry for the semi-thread jack, those are great looking coins though. I thought it was especially cool to see the MS-67 grading on the CI 10,000 Dogecoin. Their minting has been fantastic from what I have seen so far, no noticeable nicks or scrapes that I've seen.
610  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2015 Maxcoin loaded .999silver coins & 2014 edition .999 silver Starcoins on: November 29, 2014, 12:31:26 PM
lol, All of you here just scream scam once you see a newbie account. Do you not remember when you first signed up and you also had a newbie account?, you must have been a scammer too....

PS: i USE ESCROW Smiley

I haven't fully decided about yourself yet...  but hedgy73 is right to be cautious and give an advance warning to the community; there have been an abnormally large amount of "Selling physical _(random altcoins)_" threads here lately. And most of those have looked fairly shady I'll agree- either using generic information/pictures or pictures already posted elsewhere...  And don't think I am directly saying you are a scammer here- I said I didn't know yet; but people here should always exercise caution when dealing with brand new/unknown merchants and an irreversible payment system such as BTC. We don't need heavy regulations- we need our trusted community and our word-of-mouth, along with other safeguards such as escrow.

As for yourself- if you truly have a legitimate, in-hand product, then do yourself/us a favor by posting some pictures next to a paper with your username written on it and the date. Also- do you have the coins in stock or are these some computer generated images of what it might look like if created? And definitely agree to use escrow provided by any one of many trusted members here.

My suggestion? Pick a very trusted member here- one who is already into physical cryptos, such as: Blazedout419, elianite, Pistachio, etc., and message them about sending them a vouch coin up front. When they receive it they can: confirm it is a real product, possibly review it (will prob. be good if product is good), and pay you for it/send it back.
611  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best Credit Card processors/payment gateways/shopping carts for websites? on: November 26, 2014, 01:00:49 AM
Looking into Shopify at the moment, anybody have experience with them? Will probably integrate BitPay into as well if I go with it (I didn't know you could choose the percentage of BTC that you keep as BTC for BitPay orders; thought it auto-dumped it into fiat).

What third-party payment processor should I use with Shopify though? Obviously PayPal is out of the question...
612  Other / Off-topic / Best Credit Card processors/payment gateways/shopping carts for websites? on: November 26, 2014, 12:23:04 AM
Hey guys, PayPal recently gave my friend's business (Milk Mane Supply) the boot for selling CBD oils, and then it was for selling E-Cigs and tanks for E-Liquid, etc. after he told them he could pull the CBD.  Roll Eyes

So I am looking for a credit/debit card payment processor or shopping cart to add to his site. We previously just used his PP account and the standard plain shopping cart/checkout in a new window, just to keep it short and sweet. Any ideas? I would usually be able to spend a lot more time on looking into this and implementing it but I now work many hours every week. As you can probably tell by the site, it is obviously pretty outdated... I just don't have the time anymore.

He mentioned Google Wallet- anyone have any experience with that?

Thanks
613  Economy / Auctions / Re: (Auction) Random loaded Cryptolator copper 0.1BTC coins (1 in 20 funded) on: November 25, 2014, 06:00:34 PM
Responded to PM and sent full payment for the 10 coins + shipping.

Happy to have won the 0.10 BTC, and thanks again for putting on an interesting auction!
614  Economy / Auctions / Re: (Auction) Random loaded Cryptolator copper 0.1BTC coins (1 in 20 funded) on: November 25, 2014, 02:27:52 AM
Sweet. I will have your 0.261 BTC for my 10 coins paid by 2 PM EST tomorrow as the OP states (I have to grab a paper wallet). Will be PM'ing you, thanks.
615  Economy / Goods / Re: Custom Printing, 3D Printing, Laser Engraving & Cutting, Physical Wallets & More on: November 25, 2014, 01:12:49 AM
Sounds cool man, and you offer a pretty wide variety of services. Good luck with that, and I will let you know if I have any related projects in the works.

You & TheButterZone are already the top sellers of the most out of the ordinary & unique items for BTC on here, in my opinion. And that is def. meant as a compliment; it is good to have variety and choices when spending some BTC.
616  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NEW RELEASE: RAVENBIT NODE COPPER EDITION on: November 24, 2014, 06:08:22 PM
I have loved all of RavenBit's coins so far, including the Node, and this color + mirrored finish looks really good on it in my opinion! Will buy #222 now and will most likely be back to pick through those lower-numbered sections in the next few days.

Really cool idea with the launch and the different price tiers! Heavy crypto coin enthusiasts can pay extra to have the earliest numbered coins, and the average person can still afford to get his own physical BTC coin. I give you props for that, and the kit that they come with is always a great extra for the price.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Pre-ANN] Dox satoshi ! *Crowd funded Bounty? * on: November 24, 2014, 05:45:20 PM
No thank you. I have no desire to expose a noble man's anonymity and/or bother him (or she, or them). It doesn't really matter who Satoshi is in my opinion, all that matters is the work he published and gave to us all, free and open source.

And let me guess OP- you will be holding the crowd's bounty funds in escrow for them?  Cheesy
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with this address? (spending bitcoins that haven't arrived yet?) on: November 23, 2014, 11:46:35 PM
My thoughts on it being spent immediately: it could be a BTC payment received for an order on a unique generated payment address, and then immediately "forwarded" to the owner's wallet- such as with blockchain.info's Receiving Payments API.
619  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Physical Bitcoin - Box and certificate on: November 23, 2014, 11:27:32 PM
How about 0.05 + I pay shipping for one of the peeled/redeemed coins?

I agree with snarlpill you are an unique asset to the bitcoin community.
And I also have much respect for your knowledge about wood, I know nothing about wood but I can clearly see you know what you are talking about. Bitcoin really provide great opportunities for trading and establish new business connections.

I have realized that the type of business you do involves moving significant amount of money trough bitcoins, if you have not already done it, then now is the time to spend a few hours and educate yourself how to secure and store bitcoins so you will not be hacked or scammed, there are many options/strategies (e.g. dedicated computer, paper wallets etc.). Find out what is best suited for your business. You can find all the information here on the forum, but it can be a little hard to dig out because there is so much "garbage". Do not hesitate to open a thread and ask question or you can also ask Blazzed by PM for advice (I see you trust him, and he knows what he is doing).

The security of bitcoins is both a strength and a weakness at the same time, it gives you the freedom to be your own bank, but it also gives you the freedom to be stupid and lose your funds.

Good luck, I will be following your work Smiley

WoodCollector clearly needs a secure Wood Wallet  Wink

Agreed on spending a few minutes learning simple security measures, but it sounds like WC has gained some solid knowledge & got it covered. Like you said- it is what you make it. Your BTC can be secure as Fort Knox or in danger like coins with a hole in your pocket. If everybody spent a little time learning about it, there would probably be less thefts, mistakes, and accidents with BTC.
