221  Economy / Auctions / Re: ANACS graded PF-62 DCAM - 2003 1/2 oz Silver Norfed Liberty Dollar w/ Extras! on: June 26, 2015, 07:00:01 PM
There is now exactly 24 hours left in this auction (not counting any extended time from possible last minute bids)! If anybody else wants a shot at owning this fine coin & piece of anti-Fed. Reserve history, and some nice Norfed memorabilia, then get your bids in now before it's too late!
222  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Lesser Known Physical Crypto Coins, Paper Wallets on: June 26, 2015, 05:07:05 PM
After mentioning your feedback to Alec John our sales manager he has authorised the exchange of any customer who is not happy with there coin.

Please pm me if you wish to exchange out the coins. We will arrange new coin and send you pictures in advance so you can check. Once we receive your coins back we will ship out the replacements.

We strive to deliver good customer service and satisfy our customers. Overall we have had a great response from customers.  The antique process darkens the coin colour and brings out definitions which would otherwise be lost.

Mandy

That's nice and all, but you haven't explained the difference between the high quality coin photos you posted and the less than stellar coins that arrived to customers?

In my opinion, the difference in photos is probably because it was hard to accurately depict the "Antique Silver" finish in the original CAD design posted on the website. If I remember correctly, an "Antique" type finish has to be rubbed onto the coin, which explains for the darker areas around the block of text to the right of Da Vinci. I.e.- It is harder to rub the finish around areas like that.

I could be wrong though, and this is taking bithalo's thread even more off-topic, but I'm just trying to provide an explanation. Not taking sides here.
223  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] [WTS] RAVENBIT NODE BRONZE physical bitcoins [SOLD OUT] on: June 26, 2015, 04:19:26 PM
Man o manowitz.......  what a great buy everyone!!!  Cheesy

Graded gray eh???  Sign me up....
Any graded color ones??

Thanks Smiley

Oh, I'm sure TheAnalogKid is planning on having a badass ANACS graded full set of colors soon! If you do this- I'd love to see pictures of the full slabbed colors set altogether!

And @mrbrt- The OCD in me thinks that you should have the Node Silver listed in your forum signature too, just for the sake of completeness. Even if sold out, everybody could still see all of RavenBit's releases at a quick glance.
224  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] [WTS] RAVENBIT NODE BRONZE physical bitcoins [SOLD OUT] on: June 26, 2015, 04:15:05 PM
Damn, congratulations on a quick "Sold Out" status Tom/mrbrt! Very impressive actually, and perhaps the physical Bitcoin market is starting to pick back up! I think 2 or 3 BitcoinTalk members (you know who you are  Wink ) really boosted that speed of selling out. Can't wait to see a 6th coin released by RavenBit in the future, please keep up the good work and nice coins.  Smiley

I was wanting to pick up another roll but my finances were tied up. Will be looking forward to seeing the graded coins and what grades they make though! And if anybody wants to offload some extra "Gray Address" types for a low mark-up, I'll probably be looking to buy a roll or 2 in the near future.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lealana bitcoins wallet key lookup on: June 26, 2015, 03:19:27 AM
I know blockr.io works for First Bits lookups of addresses that have had a transaction, but probably won't find the addresses if they've never been funded.

You will probably have to contact the person who sold you the coins to get the full addresses. It might get trickier if they're not the first owners, but whoever bought them new should have the full addresses. If that doesn't work, contact user "smoothie" on here, as he is Lealana, or the maker of Lealana coins.
226  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Appraisal] CryptoImperator 10k Bits on: June 25, 2015, 05:35:56 PM
I agree with Took's estimates. I would think somebody on here would still be interested in an opened Crypto Imperator coin, as no one else likely opened their coins, but you would have to sell it pretty cheap as a novelty opened coin. Especially because I believe you can still buy regular CI 10,000 Bits coins from the maker, for a good price. The Limited Edition coins are sold out, and yours was L.E., but with the hologram removed so is the Limited Edition proof (L.E. number was cut into hologram).

Edit: I wonder why you would open the coin to get the 0.01 BTC inside though? Was there a recent to-the-moon Bitcoin price increase that we all missed? Lol, just messing with you...
227  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: June 25, 2015, 01:52:07 AM
I agree that is great news for everybody to have wiped out your debt, good job Og and NastyFans!

The seat price has had a pretty impressive increase over the past couple months too. Happy to be a part of this even with a miniscule amount of seats compared to most.
228  Economy / Auctions / Re: ANACS graded PF-62 DCAM - 2003 1/2 oz Silver Norfed Liberty Dollar w/ Extras! on: June 24, 2015, 11:37:12 PM
Friendly bump for exposure with an Imgur Album of some graded Silver coins I've picked up recently (the coin listed here is also in this group).
229  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [GROUP BUY][EU] Ravenbit NODE Bronze on: June 24, 2015, 03:52:07 PM
Interested in a group buy within a group buy?  Cheesy

*Inserts cheesy Group Buy Inception joke here*   Smiley
230  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN][WTS] Brand new line of Physical Coins!...***added payment options*** on: June 24, 2015, 02:31:09 AM
Nice snag, you landed the best in the series! I had a feeling you would get lucky with that group of packs.
I think distributions like this and RavenBit's latest have been a fun change-up. Also it makes the distribution of the best coins more random, and gives the same chance to someone who orders 1 and someone who orders 50*.

*For the single best coin, Bitcoin #1 for example. Person who orders 50 still has better odds overall. But any 1 pack could be the lucky pack, is what I'm saying.
231  Other / Off-topic / Re: LastPass Hacked on: June 24, 2015, 12:32:51 AM
I'll have to read the article, but that's exactly why I don't and wouldn't use that site, or any 3rd party password keepers. It was just bound to happen and there's too much to lose. Either by hackers, or the gov. possibly somehow, I don't know.

I use a different password for everything now and the only copies I keep are written on paper and safely stashed away.
232  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Best Prices of Gold, Silver, & Platinum for Bitcoins on: June 23, 2015, 08:05:10 PM
Did you guys cancel bitcoin from your payment option list?I don't see it @ checkout.Or is there a btc limit cap on a purchase?

I don't think they would ever cancel Bitcoin payments, as Amagi plans to become a "Bitcoin-only" precious metals dealer soon. I would say to try giving them a call maybe.
233  Economy / Auctions / Re: ANACS graded PF-62 DCAM - 2003 1/2 oz Silver Norfed Liberty Dollar w/ Extras! on: June 23, 2015, 04:07:50 PM
BTCump, Any interest here? I'm probably going to sell an ungraded 2003 1 oz. Norfed Liberty Dollar on Reddit soon (PM if interested).
234  Economy / Auctions / ANACS graded PF-62 DCAM - 2003 1/2 oz Silver Norfed Liberty Dollar w/ Extras! on: June 22, 2015, 11:14:41 PM
Hey guys, this is my first Auction I've done here. Bid in many, never held one on here. I think I have the basics down pretty well though. But please let me know if I've missed anything.  Smiley
Silver Norfed Liberty Dollars are some of my favorites to stack/collect/buy/sell/trade along with physical Bitcoins and Silver Chinese Pandas!

Up for Auction today is an ANACS graded PF-62 DCAM 2003 1/2 oz Silver Norfed Liberty Dollar, as well as an official Norfed Liberty Dollar brochure, a "Liberty Merchant Handbook", and a $20 Silver base Norfed business card.

The 2003 1/2 oz. $5 Liberty Dollar is one of only three 1/2 oz. Silver type-pieces ever created by Norfed. Norfed created the 1/2 oz. Liberty Dollars to meet demand for smaller, fractional Liberty Dollars to be used/spent/bartered for smaller purchases. The others are a 2005 $10 Liberty Dollar, and a 2008 $10 Peace Dollar. The 2003 1/2 oz. coin I have listed here can be found in the Liberty Dollar Encyclopedia, it is the first coin detailed on this page: https://sites.google.com/site/libertydollarencyclopedia/1-2-oz-silver-1

This coin is graded PF62 (Proof 62) DCAM by ANACS. DCAM stands for "Deep Cameo," which refers to the looks of a proof coin, where the background design has a mirror like look and the raised design has a frosted look to it. Deep Cameo means that this contrast is very pronounced and easily observed.

The brochure is a Liberty Dollar brochure released in 2007, and it is in great condition. The pamphlet describes basic information about the Liberty Dollar currency and how it works, and explains inflation and the drop in value of the US Dollar in comparison. It is very interesting and informative, and is a must-have for any Liberty Dollar collection. This brochure is #7 here: https://sites.google.com/site/libertydollarencyclopedia/brochures

The "Liberty Merchant Handbook" is a guidebook that was given out to any merchants that agreed to accept the Liberty Dollar for purchases of their goods, or in "barter" for their goods & services. It gives information about how to accept the Liberty Dollar, how to give it out in change, how to inform customers about the LD currency, and lists some benefits that becoming a "Liberty Merchant" could have on their community. This handbook is in great condition as well.

Also included is a "$20 Silver Base" business card for Norfed and the Liberty Dollar.

Brief Back Story (for those who don't know): Forming in 1998, Norfed (National Organization for the Repeal of the FEDeral Reserve and the Internal Revenue Code) sought out to create an alternative circulating currency that was actually backed by real value (i.e.- Gold, Silver, Platinum), unlike the US Dollar which had lost its gold & silver backing and became only a paper fiat currency. From 1998 to 2007, Norfed produced and sold Silver and Gold "Liberty Dollars" and encouraged them to be circulated and spent within buyers' local communities. Liberty Dollars had been minted by Sunshine Minting, the same mint that produces many of the planchets that the US gov. uses for their own coins, and each coin was minted with a "Proof" quality strike, although Bernard von Nothaus (Norfed founder) did not like to refer to them as Proof coins since they were intended for circulation. In late 2007, the FBI and Secret Service raided Liberty Dollar offices and Sunshine Minting and seized millions of dollars worth of Norfed's and customers' Gold, Silver, and Platinum, in addition to almost 2 tons of Silver "Ron Paul Dollars" they had just created for the Anti-Fed. Reserve US Senator and then presidential hopeful Ron Paul. Bernard von Nothaus was indicted (along with 3 others) and charged with several Federal crimes, and the US basically said he was counterfeiting US coins and attempting to pass them.
Anyways, it's a fascinating story and a reasoning that I think many Bitcoin supporters can understand. Read More here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Dollar

Watching this auction. I really regret not buying one when they first came out!
236  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Buying Casascius Coins on: June 22, 2015, 07:49:23 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54845.msg1982256#msg1982256  looks like he made atleast 50 1000btc gold coins not sure how much he sold

Wow, I had no idea he even made anything close to that amount of 1000 BTC 1 oz gold coins! I thought I had read somewhere that he only sold 3-5 of them, but I could definitely be wrong. Someone should ask Mike how many remain!

Ha, looking for a complete set? Putting an ad out here like this isn't going to get you any response. You need to go find the sellers. There are plenty of threads about it around, you can find them.

Why do you say that? I feel like his "WTB" thread is a pretty straightforward way of finding and buying some of these coins. I'm sure most of the sellers will see this.
237  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] original bitbills.....whats the going rate? on: June 22, 2015, 06:07:52 AM
Look up and PM user "johnniewalker." I think he could help you find some, and he might be the maker? I seem to recall seeing that in the past, not completely sure. He's a good dude though and I think he'd give you a fair price if he can help.
238  Economy / Services / Re: SPOTS AVAILABLE [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: June 20, 2015, 10:20:40 PM
Bit-X Support handled my ticket like a boss and got my account switched over to my new number. So I'm good to go now! It's very nice to be in a signature campaign that runs so smoothly and has great support. You never have to wonder if you will get paid, like some shady sig. campaigns I've seen in the past.

Finally back on this campaign!

Question: I become a hero member next week. Do I change sigs and then have to re-enter my UID for it to update?

Just update your signature, that's it!

I think I'm becoming a Hero Member soon as well, I'm stoked!
239  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS][US] Individual Ravenbit NODE Bronze Physical Bitcoins on: June 20, 2015, 03:05:17 AM
I bought a single from digicoinuser a few days ago and it was a smooth & easy deal. I sent BTC first and received the coin just a couple days later, well-packed. I recommend the Node Bronze coins to anyone wanting a nicely made physical Bitcoin for a great price. In my opinion, digicoinuser's price of $22.50 shipped (~0.09 BTC at the moment) is pretty solid too.
240  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: June 19, 2015, 06:02:56 AM
Wow MS-69 is a very impressive grade, Congratulations. I would love to see some sweet pics of that too. I'm still looking to get a 1 oz. Minted Seat eventually myself.
TookDk told me ANACS is working to release a population list for all tokens soon. I'm very interested to see what the best grades are for each physical Bitcoin and Liberty Dollar that's been graded. No doubt your 1 oz. seats will be in the top grades for that coin.
