1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the bytecoin reward per block on: April 07, 2013, 02:06:13 AM
again, why would anyone need to or want to switch? just to get an "early advantage" since coming in to bitcoins at low cost is not possible anymore?
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BTE] 1bte givaway, post your addresses gents on: April 07, 2013, 02:04:13 AM
won't people start to confuse all the different "wallet" addresses. if they are sending to a BTC, BTE or some other form . this will have too many people get confused later. it will be bad
1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEW CURRENCY] Maria 2.0 was banned, here is her proof. The birth of Bytecoin! on: April 07, 2013, 02:02:12 AM
what are  bytecoins?!? what's the incentive for anyone to move (keeping in mind that the name sounds like a complete rip off to begin with).
is the only incentive for LATECOMERS to get cheap entry into something comparable.  if so.. seriously?
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / bitcoin donation fund idea on: April 07, 2013, 01:45:04 AM
just an idea

i have no interest in being in charge of this so perhaps find someone who will want to organize that can be trusted

how about they set up an account for donations

what will these donations be used for

some ideas include giving all of it to an accredited institution of higher learning (university) that's first to be interested in accepting this donation under the terms of not being able to "cash out" for a minimum of a year
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idiot Banker : we diversify into ****ing Pac-Man pellets.” on: April 06, 2013, 07:04:06 PM

1526  Bitcoin / Legal / what to do when you pass away on: April 05, 2013, 08:09:13 AM
ya.. what a bummer..
not sure which category to post this.

i got extremely sick, followed by a panic attack early.
i scambled to leave a usb with instructions for my SO as to what to do if i die and the passwords
i'm still alive thank god but it raises serious questions about how to create succesorship.
usually when you die either your relatives or the gov claims your assets
what about in this situation.. how do you trust someone with your keys/passwords so all the bitcoins saved up don't become wasted when you are no longer alive.

serious question.. do you leave cold wallet in safety deposit box.. and let them know?

1528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a problem with MTgox? on: April 03, 2013, 08:04:38 PM

1529  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin-opalypse on: April 03, 2013, 05:11:52 AM
Id be pissed cause id get cut off from the porn..
1530  Economy / Speculation / bitcoin-opalypse on: April 03, 2013, 04:47:01 AM
so..
thought long and hard about what would really screw things up..
1) mtgox issues.. if this happens prices will drop 90%+
2) BFL doesn't deliver and a scam would also cause prices to go down a bit

that's all i can think of.. any other doomsday ideas?
1531  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why people use Mt.Gox? on: April 02, 2013, 03:33:00 PM
is there a reason they don't have stop loss etc? fear it can cause a crash?
1532  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why people use Mt.Gox? on: April 02, 2013, 12:28:51 AM
mtgox is the defacto "standard"
however, it's not very good.. and with so much investment into this i'm surprised other higher quality competitors aren't able to come around.
this is life.. nothing makes sense
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $100 per BTC reached, lets start using mBTC as default unit. on: April 02, 2013, 12:17:30 AM
yes, this will need to happen soon eventually....
it will in essence feel like a "stock split"
so the "high price" will not make people feel awkward/hesitant
i wonder how much is "institutional" owned..hmm
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Two new reasons why I am feeling very bullish about Litecoin on: April 01, 2013, 06:02:33 PM
i still don't get what the improvement of litecoin is over bitcoins (not talking about the mining aspect or the different cap) but, actual, practical improvement ..
1535  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL needs more Energy, but they start shippping NOW on: March 29, 2013, 06:28:40 PM
ugh.. if BFL messes things up.. bitcoin confidence will go down the drain for a while..
1536  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner [SCAM] on: March 29, 2013, 06:26:08 PM
scammers.. getting rich .. makes me sick.. they are laughing all the way to the bank though..

perhaps from now on people should demand actual videos .
if BFL turns into a scam people will start having heart attacks..

ugh.. as&holes trying to rip others off..
1537  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: PrimeAsic Order Update. Tracking Number Provided A Few Hours Ago! on: March 29, 2013, 06:17:37 PM
seems setting up fake ASIC companies is the way to go.. look for mine opening up in the near future.
i'll take preorders without giving out details just yet!
warning: i may push delivery date a couple times back.
damn.. this sounds like a fucking great biz
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A basic guide to trade in the internal Ripple exchange on: March 28, 2013, 06:06:32 AM
