... We have about 12 that are real pains in the butt whereas the majority are very stable ...
Please contact support@ on Sunday (after our last holiday weekend). Set remote ssh and https access in advance. Remo will take a look.

Any definite shipping dates for the SP20 yet?

Peace  Smiley
First units should be shipped next week.

Two of my new SP-30's are not going over 2TH for some reason. I have spoke to my hosting in Michagan and he says this seems to be an issue with many of the SP30's they've received. Are SP looking into this issue? We are losing out on the mining.
We'll need to check the issue. Please have them open ssh + https port forwarding and contact support@
Unfortunately, it's another long holiday weekend, so we'll probably be able to investigate only on Sunday.

- Updated SP31, SP35 and SP20 spec will be published on Tuesday or Wednesday next week
- The refund process will start next week and will be completed in October, as promised

I heard that ... Bla Bla Bla
Troll with hearing problems. Funny.

...
Zvisha is currently on vacation (1.5 weeks left, IIRC), so it will likely be a while before this issue is fixed.
...
A bit less.
Beside, this weekend is the last holiday for a long time.
If you're around, come visit us on Sunday and Monday at http://bitcointlv.com/en/

Any ideas what can I do to the first one to bring it up to speed?
There are differences between each batches: ASICs corners (we got typical, slow, less slow, typical - if I remember correctly), DC2DCs differences

It seems some of the newer units have problems if the temperature is too low. Symptoms of this issue are machines that run fine sometimes but will restart every 1-10 minutes when it's cold. Machines with this issue will usually work fine as long as their hashing isn't interrupted, but once they get cold, they have trouble starting up again. In our DC, we have two SP30s that arrived in the last 1 or 2 weeks with Murata PSUs that show this problem around when the intake temperature gets to 15°C.
Thank you for reporting. We'll check it out.

It's a month full of holidays, I'm sorry for our slow reply time.
If you don't get a reply from support@ within 72 hours, email again.

Ok I e-mailed two days again and e-mailed yesterday. I will wait until tomorrow and e-mail again Sad
It's holiday from Wednesday ...

I understand my unit might not be RMA until a week or so because of the holidays. All i am asking is to be compensated or be able to start hashing in your data center.
We'll sort it out after the Holliday, on Sunday.

No problem.

Will wait on the reply from SP to sort out the down time. Enjoy the holidays.
To be clear, it's not part of our SLA or TOS and I'm not promising a compensation here.
I'm not sure we have free machines right now. We usually do RMAs from new machines rolling out of the assembly line if needed.
We'll review the case and decide.

The latest that I am on is 2.4.20 . Nothing else comes back for SP when I try to upgrade
My bad, you are right the version is 2.4.20

Cool Talked too early for me. I have no more errors but it is still not stable. Will have to follow up with SP-Teach tomorrow

Guy,

I have not been able to hash since the machine was delivered on Thursday . Can you please look into this ? I might need RMA

Please contact support@. Please be patient, due to Zvisha's vacation Remo has double the workload.

zvi,

Given the fall in the btc and high electric rates here I've changed my UK machines to "slow fans, medium rate"

SP10:
Before 1425GH / 1280W = 0.8982 w/GH
After 1160GH / 880W = 0.7586 w/GH

SP30:
Before: 4500GH / 2900W = 0.6444 w/GH
After: 4050GH / 2420W = 0.5975 w/GH

Those have made a significant difference making the SP10 in particular profitable to run again (just).  I was wondering if you could work your magic and have a best effeciency setting that automatically tunes the machine to achieve the best w/GH possible as that's the most important thing at the moment rather than outright speed.

That's an excellent suggestion. Zvi is on holiday for the next 2 weeks, I will ask him to take a look at it as soon as he is back.

Anybody else have issue for the last days with the SP30 from GB hosted at SP-tech ?

I'm asking because mine was running at 375 GH/s hole day yesterday from stable 4.4TH/s and today hash rate was increased to about 2.1TH/s ...
It's "Yom Kippur", we'll check it on Sunday.

bit off topic it seems that diff is plateauing a bit with the drop in bitcoin price

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

I'm kind of glad about the price drop, its really hurting the whales who dump BTC i think since it makes it harder for them to pay their bills and they might have to start dumping hardware at lower costs.

It's negative feedback loop, caused by inefficient miners forced to sell to pay electricity bills.
On top of that, BitFury is selling huge amounts.

Selling BTC or equipment?
BTC on the exchanges.

And all these companies have to sell more and more coins, cheaper and cheaper to pay the same costs of mining.

This loop will end when they'll close the doors. Or at least most of them....

IMHO....
Likely scenario.
