you are already on the right track, just one more step. scroll down a bit and look at the mempool "size" chart instead of "count" chart because it makes more sense for fee estimation since we pay fee per size not per transaction and 1 tx can take up 1 MB while 3000 transactions may still not fill a block. the minimum block size being 1 MB and the average these days 1.2 MB helps deciding what fee is more appropriate. I am finding it hard to understand the graphs both the count and size. A little help will be appreciated :-) Thanks in advance. Cheers :-D
Here are few more tx which were sent with low tx fees and confirmed without any issue. Took a little longer time and that was it. 2 sat/B, duration to confirm: 1,252 minutes 1 sat/B, duration to confirm: 1,222 minutes

~snip~The commentators even mentioned that Negi should have bowled in the 17th over itself to take advantage of the pitch.
Bud, in T20 17 th over and 19 th over has difference. In a tight match when the betting side's required rate is over 10 to 15 runs per over then 19 th is the last chance for the bowling side to create the ultimate pressure. A good 19 th over decides the match result. If batting side can takes it then they will win and if the bowling side takes it then they will win. I understand Yadav did bad and gave extra runs in his first spell but that does not mean that he will do bad in the death overs. He is capable of delivering yorkers, slowers, bouncers and in this kind of situation a fast or medium fast bowler is very effective than a spinner. If you take CSK as example then you will see, Dhoni never ask Tahir or Harbhajan to bowl in this kind of situation. This is where Dhoni is great. He knows how to use his players and bring the best from them. Kohli is a stupid big head pathetic nut. He is a good batsman no doubt but his captaincy has big question. Now, you can ask me then how do he manage with the Indian team? Well if you look closely then you will see Dhoni always makes the decision or gives Kohli the sign of the next move. Kohli really needs to learn captaincy while Dhoni is around.

~snip~ Applications are now closed for this round.
Good luck everyone who qualified. You deserved it. I will be looking forward to the next opportunity to be with the gang :-P Cheers :-)

Can anyone explain why a spinner in the 19th over? What is going on in Kohli's mind? Has he gone brainless? Man is depending on luck where he needed a pacer who can bowl yorker. He had Umesh Yadav. So what Yadav was expensive in his first spell? He is very effective in death overs, he can blow yorker.
In this kind of matches 19th over is always crucial. If you can create pressure in the 19th over then at the last over batsmen feel immense pressure and give the wicket. Kohli just just gave the match to MI's hand when he called Negi to bowl.
Damn you Kohli. The entire IPL season is not working for RCB only for him.

1. Right click on the tx then click on Increase fee 2. Adjust the amount of fee you want to pay. fees = byte size * sat/B This will help: https://www.coinb.in/#fees

MI are on full fire and now require 61 runs in 47 balls. The match should be easily chase able from here and RCB might just lose another match in this IPL unless they bowl something magical and put pressure back on the MI from here on.
I am not expecting any magic to see LOL RCB going to have another shameless lose without any doubt. I was waiting for the odd for MI to be atleast 1.90+ but it never happened :-P Anyway in the pool I will have another win which is not bad at all. I had a terrible week. Lost 3 out of 5 in the pool (considering MI to win today) That last round was brutal, dropped all my picks over the weekend with all the underdog victories. Can't believe KKR lost twice Hoping MI can come out ahead of RCB today to save at least some points, but de Villiers and Ali are building a strong partnership out there at the moment (both 50+) and the MI bowlers don't seem to be able to keep the strike rate down. Can see RCB getting at least 175+ at this rate Ronnie @ Cloudbetkpk333 did well with the underdogs :-D

Reported post for posting suspicious link, hope moderators will handle it.
Well I just noticed the mod deleted his post with my response too. This removed the evidence so I had to edit my OP here to add the users profile link. I have no idea about this user. Where did he come from? Good catch, OP.
Happy to serve the community. Pleasure is mine. Cheers :-)

Kohli got out at 8 runs and RCB put into bat first by MI are now 12/1 in 2.1 overs. RCB will now be playing more like for the pride of them self and to atleast not be in the bottom 2 of the table once the league matches are over. They really had a bad season so far inspite of having good team.
As expected , I have gone for MI to win the match pre live after the toss @1.65 . I have a strong feeling they will win but I think Parthiv will play well today for RCB too. I am also for MI however I am looking for the perfect moment to bet for them LOL Somewhere around 1.90+ odd will be satisfactory to me. The bookies are not offering good odd for MI at the moment. I really had a bad week. So far lost a lot of money on betting since every time I am picking the wrong team. The most hurting was yesterday's one. At some stage I was lucky to cash out my bet or I would lose a lot yesterday.

~snip~ I can very well tell that the method is not perfect, i will give you a perfect example about a match between South Africa and England in 1992 world cup, South Africa needed 22 runs to win from 13 balls and when the rain interrupted and the score was adjusted using Duckworth Lewis method and so South Africa needed to win the same runs in 1 ball, how can you claim that as a fair calculation and not a wrong method. ~snip~
Yeh I learnt about this match from history. I was too young to understand cricket then. I feel without this Duckworth Lewis method cricket will be well off. I understand that they created it to eliminate the hassle of abandoning a match which may need another day but may not even get a result. Behind a cricket match there are money involves. Sponsors, audiences, events, tv channels, news channel I mean there are money and money everywhere. So they need a result in order to ensure everything. So, they are defining an undefined future. Can you define a football match result or tennis or any other sports? Then why cricket came with this weird calculation? There are matches where we see team scored 200+ runs (hypothetically giving a scenario) without losing any wicket but in the next few overs they lost all wickets. There are matches where team lost 5 wickets in 20 runs but before the end of their innings they scored 250+ runs. How are you going to know these futures that in the next few overs a team is going to lose all wickets or after losing some quick wickets a team still scored good runs and won a match. Duckworth Lewis is not gonna give the correct result.

It should be no brainer for anyone that why Sunrisers middle and lower order struggling here. they heavily relying on 3 Foreign batsmen and can't keep foreign allrounders in the team.
Pandey was very promising batsman when he started his International career and he used to be a very solid batsman in Domestic cricket as well, I still remember his maiden 100 against oz in Australia and he was argubly the fittest athlete in the team, even Virat use to put his name ahead of himself.
Yousuf Pathan is becoming old horse now. he can produce extraordinary inning on few matches but not regularly tbh and for rest of the new domestic batsmen, guess we need to give them some time to adjust in competitive tournaments. but Hooda's performing really bad despite his long ipl experience.
I am a fan of SRH and it's bad to see that they lost a match this way that they could have an easy win. 156 target was not that much for a T20 match. I agree that the middle order and lower order is not performing. They are highly dependent on Bairstow and Warner when it comes to bat, especially Bairstow. When Bairstow is no more, they stop scoring. We can see it clearly from yesterday's match. After Bairstow gone they did not bat having the required rate in mind. They wasted too many balls and end result is that they has so many runs to chase that they lost wickets too quickly. I think they lost 7 wickets in the last 15 to 16 balls. That is crazy. Speaking the truth, I had a huge bet for SRH. I am lucky that I cashed out at the middle when they offered me some good return. I was hesitating that if I will wait till the end coz it was obvious looking that SRH was going to win it. Lucky me that I did not wait.

I was browsing the Development & Technical Discussion section then I saw a topic response. Warning: Please do not click the link. It may have malware. The user registered here from 2013 but saying something so stupid that it's not acceptable. Also he has given a link upfront (kind of psychologically establish a hidden trust that have mine first it's not a big deal) saying that it's his wallet and finally suggesting people to use it (by use it, I think he is meaning to upload your wallet.dat file). Everything looks very suspicious to me (targeting innocent new coiners). I do not think the user is ignorant rather he is trying to achieve something else. I left a response for him here however I am wondering about community feedback. Cheers :-) Edit: The mods deleted the post so if you are looking for the post then you will not see it. Anyway, here is the user's profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=189449

~snip~ I chose SRH too. At present, DC are playing admirably and I think that they might post a total close to 180 if Pant and Shreyas continue to play the way that they are playing. SRH need to bat brilliantly if they want to win this one!
Shreyas gone by the bouncer delivery from B Kumar. I think DC will score 160+ runs. Chasing 160+ runs should not be very challenging for SRH. The team has the betting strength unless they lose quick wickets. Ahmed took some wickets but his economy is not good. He is doing his last over and I hope he does not give much run in this over. Edit: A full toss ball but Pant out. Good thing for SRH. Ahmed wanted to deliver a Yorker but ended up with a full toss however getting the wicket should feel him good.

I use exchanges and they all charge huge fees like 0.001 BTC and more but they end up paying just 5 sats/byte and adding like 100 txs along with mine. But still I noticed my transactions get confirmed faster even with such low fee while earlier my txs used to take 3-4 hours for 1 confirmation. My tx recently with 13 sats/byte took 3-5 mins for 3 confirmations.
Well with exchanges you have not much choice. You are already paying very high fees. By the way, unless you are regularly trading your Bitcoin for alts it's not recommended to keep your coins in exchanges. I hope you already know about the hacking stories of several exchanges on the way of these 10 years of Bitcoin. Always keep your assets safe. Electrum is a good option or go for a hardware wallet.

~snip~ CSK chased down the total successfully without any issues. Someone always steps up for CSK when needed which is why I consider this team as the T20 version of the Australian team.
Jadeja stepped up this time along with Raina and they chased down the total quite easily. Also, I lost my bet.
Good to see CSK to win another match. After Dhoni's out I thought CSK will lose the track but thanks to Jadeja that he not only played a good innings but also gave good support to Raina till the end. In the 2nd match, my pick is SRH and I hope they win the match. So far they are looking good. May be few more wickets will do the job easier.

Royse777, you are just advised to pay a certain fee, and you look at that site which is according to some users known as very inaccurate. However, paying the highest possible fee at a specific time ensures that the transaction is confirmed in the next block. You pay low fee and wait for 11+ hours, and you get lucky with next transaction and wait only 98 minutes.
Are you going to say this one was lucky too? This took only 77 minutes :-) I use cash or a card. Doesn't cost me anything and the transaction is instant. Apparently, you lot don't like it.
Strange world we live in.
Are you really sure about it? I don't know which world you are living in bud.

~snip~ Tahir is something else. The way CSK pulled the game back in the final overs was sublime. Teams usually give 40-50 in the last couple of overs, but CSK gave away less than 20 runs due to amazing bowling towards the end of the game.
It was good bowling show by CSK however they are struggling in betting now. They just lost their 4th wicket. This is what I am seeing CSK needs to improve, They are not having good starts in their matches. The openers are failing. Everything in run chase or even when they are betting first, we are seeing they are rescuing the team from their 5th wicket partnership. Today they will have to do that as well. If Dhoni is out then it will be hard for them to chase the total. So far he is looking good. I hope Raina will support him.

I never complain about the fee When I want to receive in a fast way, I know that I must use a high fee and if I compare with the money that I will receive, still, the fee is not too big for me, and I can deal with that. That is great for you if you can pay with a small amount of fee but how long until you receive the bits? Almost every people wants to see they receive money in the short time, but they don't want to pay more for the fee, so they got confirmation slowly because there is another transaction which is paid with the high fee. So after all, it is a good suggestion for people. No offense OP Same case with me, i dont really mind too much if i do pay up the current amount of fee nowadays unlike on that bull run event on 2017 which the amount is already disturbing when you do want some fast confirmation but now it isnt really too much a bother yet even next block transactions wont cost you much. Thanks for sharing btw OP. How would you feel to spend 0.0005+ BTC in fees for a translation of 0.005BTC? Don't you think it's too much? If you check my OP that this is exactly what happened (101.1 sat/B) with me because I was trusting the wallet calculation. If you are a regular spender me then I do not think you would say the you never complain about the fees LOL ~snip~ i think everyone has to compare their wallet's suggestion with real fees of transactions in the mempool first before they can make a conclusion about whether it is giving them an appropriate suggestion or not. this site has been great for visualizing the memory pool and analyzing the fees: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/If they do compare then they will never end up paying 4950% increased fees (101 sat/B where you could spend 2 sat/B) :-)
