Good to see Ferrer pushing hard against Zverev in the Miami open. Although he lost the first set , he broke Zverev in the second and leads 4-3 . His stamina on the court hasn't decreased a bit.
I was not able to see the match but looking at the score I can tell that Federer had hard time to win the match. Lost first set, comeback in the 2nd set was not easy and finally won the third set. Albot is not a bad player. Other day I was risking money for him when Ebden retired. Anyway, If my calculation is wrong then I can see a perfect draw for Federer vs Djokovic. Did not expected the IPL first match could turn out to be the one sided match where CSK beating RCB easily by 7 wickets and started their winning game from the first match itself comprehensive win and winning by a huge margin too.
Everything happened because of that pitch,even CSK batsmen were struggling to score but when they know where to reach they just took the match all the way to end and won it comfortably. RCB team didn't predict the pitch condition that is why they came up with one main spinner and one part time spinner whereas CSK played with 3 specialist spinner and 2 part time spinners. Kohli and Dhoni were much aware about the pitch, but the winning of toss by Dhoni paved the way to the winning of the match. Prior to the match Dhoni stated clearly on choosing the bowling first. CSK on its home ground gives added advantage to its winning. Definitely Kohli don't read the pitch,you can watch the speech of Kohli at the time of toss,he wanted to bowl fist just because of dew factor but he ever thought this is an extremely turning pitch. Moreover, it's a common fact for RCB to score lower. In last IPL, if I'm correct, they performed badly in some matches and got huge success in other matches, I mean no average was there. I agree to this . I feel that there is no good opening pair right now in RCB , natural position for Kohli is 1 down and RCB should have kept either Gayle or Rahul for opening without leaving them . Look at Uthappa , Rahul , Manish Pandey they are doing very well in other teams and the interesting fact is all these guys are Karnataka born . Guys, I hope I am not annoying you all. Jadeja could have played a little bit faster though, Shane Watson played 10 balls for 0 run  It was the pitch which was very slow and odd looking. It looked like a pitch of day 4 in test match. Sometimes changing position can do wonder for player and Teams, no matter it's 20-20 or 5 days cricket. sharing a small list of the great top openers who used to play in the middle order and some of them even in the lower middle order.
Changing positions will produce greater impact without a doubt, but one thing you have to understand is that everyone who got promoted were aggressive players and they definitely made an impact on being promoted, i would include Sachin along those list when he was made opener in 1994 and he made the biggest impact in the history of cricket as well as Sehwag being promoted as an opener in test, changed test cricket forever. RCB played shit in their home ground, i cant believe. Poor players cant even hit bowl when it is full toss. It is a easy win for CSK.
This match is hosting in Chennai so RCBs are technically the visitors :-) Yh they did not have a great innings. The pitch is very slow and I see CSK are also struggling to chase. After 5 over they scored only 14 runs so far. |

Wohoo IPL is starting today . Who else is really excited and who do you think will win today ? My bets are on Chennai No particular reason other than I love MSD . I won't be disappointed if they lose too but I just am hoping for an entertaining match. I am eagerly waiting to watch very 1st match of Indian Premier League 2019 between CSK vs RCB. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and select to bowl first, Chennai Super Kings should take advantage the local crowd. I simply trust that RCB doesn't repeat their poor picture in this season like last year.
