3701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: July 06, 2019, 01:57:43 PM
Blockchain has proved in last 10 years many industries are converting to blockchain based application so we can say in present time blockchain is the fastest used application

this indicates that the blockchain technology is accepted and becomes the solution in supporting activities in various industries, i think usage of blockchain technology will continue to grow in line with the necessities of the company and the consumer

It's a much better solution than using some of the fiat ways to do transactions. Usage just increases each day basically. Blockchain is really clever and doesn't seem to really need updating or changing.
For all that we have our altcoins. With all the different algo they use. A trustless service is the best service. I dislike human input because humans take time and I am not patient.
Not to mention that humans usually makes more mistake than a robot that is specifically programmed just for that. A trustless automated system is what we needed at the moment to reach the peak of efficiency rather than just holding on the traditional way of managing our financials.
3702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: July 06, 2019, 10:05:58 AM
I think regulation that bridges both the crypto community and governments appropriately are going to succeed. For example the recent ciphertrace and shyft partnership in response to the FATF guidelines?  https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ciphertrace-shyft-partner-address-fatf-130000581.html

I agree, regulation will bridge between law and investors. Investors must need legal certainty about their investment and the government wants to get a tax on crypto trading on the market. With regulations from the government, investors will be more comfortable
If the regulation will only brings the benefits as much as you stated, that'd honestly be awesome. Actually so many projects already obeying the regulation by their own respective government, there are also many of them that just don't care because they are not a legit project. The strict regulation will act as a filter in this one.
3703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO IS WAY BETTER on: July 05, 2019, 03:22:50 PM
IEO its the faster way how to get profit with investment than ICO where we have wait until ICO ended and listing on exchange market after ended ICO more than one or two months.
Maybe that is true, the exchange will definitely priorities those projects that are hosted by them rather than accepting an ICO project's token or coin into their exchange but it doesn't mean that your profit is guaranteed, sometimes there is shitty project that just exist to be dumped and turn into dust.
3704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: July 05, 2019, 03:11:02 PM
The most popular and safe method to store high amounts of Btc is a hardware wallet. (Ledger Nano S, Trezor etc.)

Another cheaper option that offers about the same security is a paper wallet, but you need to take care of where you store the "paper".

I bought a Ledger Nano S last year and I'm very happy with this investment.
Hardware wallet is indeed safer than most of desktop wallet out there but if it is always connected to the internet I don't think it is any safer than paper wallet.
But if the hardware wallet is only connected as you need it and you are always taking care of your device so that it won't be infected with malware than could automatically change your address into the hackers' then it is fine.
3705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Media Is All Praises For Bitcoin on: July 04, 2019, 03:04:10 PM
China is a peculiar country, I live in Brazil and I confess it's very hard to me to understand the politics and life in general in China
It seems like people in China tends to love BTC, mining and all stuff related to cryptos, but government are afraid because they will possible lose control
I guess that is because they always seek the opportunity even the slightest, you can see the competition in their country are so tough, big number of people means a higher competition than any other country. Though I don't really think that they love BTC just becaus it is "BTC". They love it because it is basically money as everyone does.
3706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate? on: July 04, 2019, 02:59:14 PM
in my opinion the IEO is a new era after ICO, and very many IEO projects have been successful, to be honest I am very interested in investing in the IEO, but for now I don't have enough funds
Well I'm  struggling with the lottery system in some of IEO, I mean we are investing but to wait for our turn like that is just such a turn off.
Maybe people are still interested into IEO anyway despite all those complicated things but there might be a better system than the lottery system I just hope.
3707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix is gonna film documentary about crypto on: July 03, 2019, 02:55:30 PM
I dont think its a great news but its better than nothüng and its a bit late for netflix.i was expected a news like netflix accept crypto.
Being documented is already great, it will increase the recognition of bitcoin among many people and not to mention that netflix is available worldwide and watched by millions of people, it is like a free advertising for the crypto itself. If a news appear that netflix accepts crypto it will fade away in few days anyway while documentary will just stay there.
3708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose only one altcoin, which one it would be? on: July 03, 2019, 08:23:46 AM
Imagine you had to choose only one altcoin for your bag. I can't decide between GRAM, LAW and Libra. The last one is the most questionable: it's popular because of FB but I heard it won't be profitable because of its features of stable coin. GRAM and LAW are great because of its technologies but they are not as popular as Libra. So...yeah that is my problem...And what is your choice?

I prefer Libra. Libra is indeed a stable coin because the movement is controlled. I think libra will also get a good position because it is very easy to get public trust. Libra is easy to get public trust because it gets full support from Facebook. Even though technologically, libra is not the most capable but with this stable feature makes libra able to compete. Later as time goes by, Libra can make improvements so that the coin will bring more benefits. I believe that.
If Libra could bring more benefits, I only think of one thing which allows borderless and limitless transactions and thats it. There's no more special of Libra because it is a stablecoin, compared to ETH that is a smart contract platform it could have many and various functionality but not Libra, that coin basically designed for one thing.
3709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: July 02, 2019, 04:06:46 PM
Thanks for your valuable information. This may happen when you are too much busy or you have a large amount of portfolios. If you are busy in other sort of work, you may not have enough time for cryptocurrency and you will miss deadline for swap or KYC verification to  claim coins. So we must get updated about the project we have invested in.
Have too much portfolios and too diverse are the main reasons I forgot my coin, I think I have forgotten a huge chunk amount of coin in my address which I have forgotten private key alone, I really think that it's better for people with many altcoins to atleast have their own private portfolios management for the sake of not forgetting the coins.
3710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose only one altcoin, which one it would be? on: July 02, 2019, 03:48:16 PM
Ethereum is the head for the entire altcoins, upon which I prefer ethereum. Also it is one upon which the growth of rest of the altcoins were decided. A portfolio should comprise different set of altcoins with which it is possible to keep ourself on the safer side rather than having a single altcoin.

Having a single altcoin will cause loss if that particular altcoin experience loss, but the same can be compromised minimizing loss if we have a diversified portfolio with different set of altcoins.
Ethereum is a very good choice. But if now I am more happy with litecoin, it means that I don't like ethereum. Because in the near future Litecoin provides a good advantage. Therefore I will choose Litecoin.
Talking about advantages I don't think litecoin will offer that much in the future, while Ethereum is trying hard to make perfect the coin meanwhile litecoin is like the lite version of bitcoin it doesn't require that much specialty or quirks because it is baiscally bitcoin but lite while Ethereum is a smart contract platform.
3711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies on: July 02, 2019, 03:27:38 PM
If we want financial freedom in the future then I could say that cryptocurrency is the answer.
We are making our own banks here and we're making our own profit which is far from regulation and manipulation of the government.
Cryptocurrency plays a vital role in our community and if we'll value it, we'll gain a better financial situation in the future.
I would like to say that why we want cryptocurrency  for future?Huh?? Whats the main reason behind this???
Cryptocurrency could provide a different ways of dealing with the financial problems and bottleneck that we have right now. As a proof so many companies are investing into their R&D for implementing blockchain to their systems. Blockchain is a revolutionary technology that's why we'll need it in the future, also it is really beneficial for the globalization.
3712  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin transactions costs in the future on: June 30, 2019, 03:38:31 PM
in any case, the cost of transactions will increase if the price of Bitcoin will also go up.  Who men need to take into account the fact that each user himself increases the price for the urgency of the transfer of funds.
has become a law of investment and crypto currency transactions, cryptocurrencies have increased, of course, transaction costs will also increase and in my opinion the value of crypto currencies with transaction costs will not incur a loss in the investment
That actually shouldn't be justified though, it is always better to develop further into solving this problem where the blockchain won't stuck with the scaling problem. So that when the mass could finally adopt cryptocurrency there'll be no problem regarding to this, maybe we take it too lightly for now but in the future we may even need a more scalable and faster blockchain.
3713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: June 30, 2019, 03:28:23 PM
I personally say, of course... Blockchain is the perfect solution to answer all our needs for security, transparency, fast and efficiency. I am 100% sure that the bank system will be abandoned soon, all financial transactions will adopt the Blockchain system where all transactions are recorded in a ledger that can be seen and accessed by everyone.

This is a bit too ambitious. There is no such thing as 100% effective for science and technology.
There are rules, developments and inventions that apply only to a specific period. Blockchain is a very accurate and useful technological development for today's conditions. I'm sure a day will come out better. So in the future maybe we will be talking about other technological development, maybe future generations.

As you said, banks will soon be suppressed by blockchain-supported projects. Then these projects will put pressure from the better ones...
many of banks are already trying to implement blockchain to their system, it is not like blockchain is unusable for all those big corporates. They even trying to develop it further to help them manage their system and make it more efficient, it seems like instead of pressing they will just found a more efficient way to manage their own system
3714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BITCOIN ATM PROFITABLE BUSINESS ? on: June 29, 2019, 05:11:27 PM
Bitcoin ATM is a lucrative investment if you can have the upfront huge cost to start operating it. Having one at a countries airport or shopping mall will attract a lot of users while you charge transaction fees on it usage.
But there is also something you need to be taken into account and that is the maintenance fees, not to mention that there's a possibility for the ATM to be vandalized by the criminals. Although as I've seen most of Bitcoin ATM charging quite the amount of fee but I just can't see that the Return of Investment will be near.
3715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix is gonna film documentary about crypto on: June 29, 2019, 04:33:12 PM
First of all, I think it will be a great educational video that can explain much for newbies and secondly, this movie can push bitcoin's and altcoin's price reach the sky (don't perceive it literally). What do u think?

the source: https://thebitplex.com/?p=198

Netflix is one great venue for Bitcoin to reach the thick population all over the world. I hope this will have a positive impact on Netflix's huge number of followers.

Although we cannot still conclude that it is going to push up the prices of Bitcoin and altcoins, if this is going to be carried out in a way that is not bias to the banks and to the governments, I mean in an objective and really educational way, this will definitely be collecting a lot of Bitcoin followers.
Before talking about how it can affect the price we need to talk about what's the content of the documentary first. There's a possibility that the documentary could become misleading and messed up. To be honest even I've seen so much video in youtube that says to explain bitcoin but in a really misleading way.
3716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of FAKE volume reporting on: June 29, 2019, 04:04:02 PM
It needs some regularization. When that happens, everything will be fine. But not sure how long it will take.
What kind of regulation do you mean? all policies have been determined by the developer of the platform, if there are intentional errors or it is impossible for the developer to know it but they do not want to fix it. there is even a possibility they intentionally. not prejudiced, but regulation will not be the best solution.
It can help in some ways but likewise if it's intentionally been done then there's nothing else the team can do, it's on the side where things is unavoidable and even regulations are there to accompanied the scenario it's still the one who intentionally do the manipulations can change the outcome reports.
That's the problem, sometimes we can't do something to this fake volumes by unreliable exchanges, the only way is just to leave it to the community to judge whether an exchange deserves their money to be traded there or not. The only thing that makes them grow up so fast is the fact that so many people are kinda blind or uneducated to all these facts that many of the exchanges are faking volume and most of them are low rated exchanges.
3717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you trust FB with your KYC details? on: June 29, 2019, 03:27:57 PM
I wouldn't. I don't think this coin will succeed! What do you think?
Well i would trust facebook, cause i do think facebook is a great company and they did have some identity issue last year which i think they should learn from their mistake, so yes i do think i would trust facebook and i do think libra have some great potential to be success.
I guess if you are not citizens of developed country KYC wouldn't be an issue in the identity holders' perspective but really different if you are a citizens of developed country.
The privacy issue which has happened in the past shouldn't be taken lightly because if all people were as merciful as you they will repeat the same mistakes.
3718  Economy / Economics / Re: Using credit cards to buy bitcoin in the bull run on: June 28, 2019, 12:58:48 PM
If you were going to do this, what card would you use?

Do any credit card companies have restrictions on bitcoin purchases?

Which cards offer incentives and bonus dollars for purchases?
I think there some card that can buy bitcoin i cant remember but i think coinbase is using card to buy cryptocurrency. And i think to others its a convinient way to buy bitcoin using cards but i think it will big charges too.
Big charges is the "norm" of using credit card to be frank. Also most of exchanges nowadays accepting credit card but very few that doesn't require KYC simply because they don't want to risk accepting unverified or stolen credit card elsewhere and sued. They prefer to keep their asses safe and be sure to not purchase using credit card if you come from a 3rd world country because you'll be surely declined (there's an exception tho).
3719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with real gold on: June 28, 2019, 11:45:48 AM
Gold and bitcoin have tremendous advantages. Both of us can make assets to make a profit. Both are superior in every aspect, For long term investments, in my opinion, it is better for gold, if for short term investment, it is better for bitcoin, as trading is more profitable for bitcoin, the increase is fast.

I agree, as bitcoin prices fluctuates more rapidly than gold so it is suitable for short term investment and gold is always a valuable asset to posses.
The fluctuation is because the market capitalization of bitcoin compared to gold is relatively small. With bitcoin there is still a manipulation of price can be done if you have huge chunk of money or whales are working together although there's no clear proof about that but most of people saying so but logically thinking that could be done because how fragile people's emotions are just by dumping people will all be doing cutlose thus further dumps the market.
3720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will new alts projects take over the lead? on: June 28, 2019, 11:38:28 AM
We already have good altcoins in top 10-25 with many diffrent use cases. There is pretty small chance that some low market altcoin or newly created one will take place there.
It is reasonable to expect development on each project but a simple question should be answered about the taking a lead. If big projects have no intention to stop the growth then how to blame the new projects that gave up due to this reason.
Yeah, that's what free market is for, the new altcoins should compete with the older altcoins simply to create innovations. It doesn't make sense to prevent any altcoins with the same use case from emerging if it could create a more efficient and effective ways for its use case. Not to mention that between 10-25 top there are many of coins with similar use case like smart contract platform.
