3841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO coming soon. Would you like to be the very first to know about it? on: January 10, 2019, 10:45:24 PM
All of the project's data is incomplete, so I can't judge anything. But I do not believe any ICO who is confident to say that they will post their token on most top ranking crypto exchanges in the world.
Quite the opposite if an ICO could prove such thing, it will seems like a legit ICO.
They are fulfilling their promise and also a really big promise. If they are scam ICO they would just get over with the fact that they cant fulfil their promises.
3842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of strange projects on: January 10, 2019, 03:21:12 PM
and for that don't believe in sweet promise of an ico, you have to do a lot of research so you don't lose a lot of money when investing and don't trust anyone before you prove it yourself
The most easiest thing is to figure out which one is simply too good to be true. Most of the phishy ico offer tremendous amount of promises to lure people and that could be used to determine which one have higher chance of being fraud.
3843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: January 10, 2019, 03:05:30 PM
Only after you are deceived during ICO and you lose all your money. Only then will you agree to the regulation of ICO legislation.
I think it's good when your money is protected from scammers.
Yeah most of the people that get enough of all the ridiculous ICO with nearly zero law to comply, they want something that is legit and real and ico regulation is one way to get to rhat point.
3844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is best for storing money? on: January 09, 2019, 10:09:16 PM
a stable coin in cryptocurrency is usdt, you can keep your money there but do not expect profit

USDT has some gloomy points which don't allow holding money for long - it may come to the attention of sec at any moment. The most reliable method ever is to convert money into Fiat.
I didnt know that holding usdt could carry such risk. Maybe it is right the best way is to convert it to cash but there is also another stablecoin maybe we can try that too even better if there is offshore alternstive other than usdt
3845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: January 09, 2019, 10:03:50 PM
I observed that most of the coins depend on the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum and all the graphics are pretty the same
That is because the strong influence of bitcoin and eth. People are always thinking about eth and btc because these two are considered the tool to determine whether the market is bearish or bullish.
Also, most of the people will try to convert their money to btc or eth  when they done with the alt.
3846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: January 09, 2019, 03:41:57 PM
I think that Ethereum remains a promising investment, because the team continues to develop the coin!
I agree, I also think the eth is still promising, because the team makes the project better every day and he has no competitors
That is really wrong. There are so many ethereum competitors out there offering literally the same feature that is being a platform for many ICO but ETH still holding on. And that number I dare to say will still keep adding itself.
3847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people believe and invest in fraudulent ICO? on: January 09, 2019, 03:24:40 PM
It is not that easy to spot the fraudulent ICOs, specially for newbie members they can easily get trapped in these projects. Initially, these scam projects do spend a lot of money for advertisement, so it is very difficult to spot whether they are legit or scam.
The projects I know from 2017 and 2018 have now become scam, of course they succeed ICO and pay full for bounty. But after a period of operation, their project was dead. so ICO died in 2018
Dead project doesn't necessarily means a scam project though. It is more like a natural selection, that is also ways to be an investor and finding proper investment is the harfest thing thereis because if it is as easy as warren buffet said. Everyone would be a millionaire.
3848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves knock out Ethereum on: December 27, 2018, 11:56:57 PM
Eth is performing pretty bad in these past months and it drop alot of percent based on the price charts . while waves is becoming stable .  i guess this was the reason why many peeps ( including the op ) are saying that eth is dying while waves are performing well    .

Its not really the ranking does matter but also the performance of both coins  .
Imagine all these years the ico devs have been bagholding their ETH ever since and its the year when the majority of locked funds will be released everyone already expecting massive dumping because of that.
3849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that every end of the year so many Crypto-holders are rich? on: December 27, 2018, 11:55:32 PM
It is not true that every end of the year is beneficial is crypto holders. Crypto market behaves in cycles and we do not know
how long a cycle lasts. So, it can happen that we have bearish market for years before the bullish one arrives.
Otherwise if that is true so many people will become rich because the market is simply prrdictable to that statement. Unfortunately theres no such thing as absolute future when it comes to crypto and other financial things
3850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I've just put ALL my student savings into TURTLECOIN ($50K) on: December 27, 2018, 11:07:58 PM
if a bullish race begins now, you will become a multimillionaire in a matter of days. I am sure that you have all the chances
So you are justfying his doing which is putting all the his students saving to a shitcoin like a gamble which also technically stealing, i dont know your personaility but your way of thinking is absolutely messed up.
3851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an ICO team is anonymous, is it a scam? on: December 27, 2018, 11:05:58 PM
I will not invest in a project that the development team is anonymous. Too much risk when cultivating into such a project. Such projects do not win the trust of investors so it is difficult to succeed, worse you may lose all your money.
There is always some reason behind anonimity of a project developer and he reason that you mentioned is supposedly one of that. I  too wont trust anonymois developers, if they want trust they need to trust people first.
3852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: December 26, 2018, 11:14:22 PM
no one can help you do this because bitcoin is completely unpredictable
The amount of people thinking that someone has the magic power to predict the future is insane. Just see any trading group they are following people saying like sheep while the speculators or predictors themselves has absolutely no clue about what is going on. That is sad but weird at the same time.
3853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I've just put ALL my student savings into TURTLECOIN ($50K) on: December 26, 2018, 11:09:08 PM
Good story. In case that it is true one, I would suggest to reconsider good before you invest all your student savings on that coin, any coin. I  am not sure that investing all you have is smart idea. Just in case that things are not going as you expected to. You are gambling to much with this kind of approach.
Using all his student saving guess that will only come from a mout of a trollers, theres no way sane people would do such a thinf, this topic is utterly garbage and only created for a joke i guess. Just ingnore him
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands? on: December 25, 2018, 11:03:32 PM
I see the future with about 50-100 cryptocurrencies that are used constantly but definitely not several thousand
Well, of course this market is too oversaturated with crypto-currencies , I think that we need literally 100 coins
The more the better i must say, just like fiat currencu that is so many it will have its own uniqueness same thing could just be implemented to cryptocurrency, after all the aim of crypto is to decentralize so does the capital need to be decentralized aswell.
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: December 25, 2018, 10:43:11 PM
Ethereum and Bitcoin are cryptocurrencies of different nature. The main task of Ethereum is to act as a platform for creating new projects. But as a means of payment, it is also used. Bitcoin has the main function - the accumulation and storage of capital. They are different, yes.
Yes bitcoin USED to be an option for wealth saving or storing but nowadays people are using something called stablecoin that is a lot less volatile than bitcoin therefore eliminating the risks of reduction in wealth overall value
3856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Africans Are Not Embracing Blockchain - Crypto ! on: December 25, 2018, 10:39:24 PM
in Africa there are many other problems that need to be solved and blockchain is not on the agenda of the everyday life.
Exactly, blockchain kr whatever it is still out of their mind there's mamy more even important things for the citizens themselves are strugglimg even to live let alome blockchain ghat requires technology knowledge, internet and the computer to be used.
3857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What attracts you to a good crypto exchange? on: November 18, 2018, 03:26:22 AM
The choice of trading exchange is determined by transaction fees, speed of response, clarity and ease of transaction, availability of the coin/token of interest, ease of withdrawal, reviews by previous users, performance history of the exchange, etc. These factors will enable you to make good choice of an exchange.
But the most imporant thing is the reliability and dependability, there's no point of having speedy customers service, low fees and many more meanwhile the service itself is hardly can be trusted.
Sometimes, even if the exchanges taking quite high, but not as ridiculous, it's quite fine, moreover if they are government compliant.
3858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will end the hype of ICO ? on: November 18, 2018, 02:37:50 AM
now the ico hype is over. the ico hype occurred at the end of last year and earlier this year when the market rise and also affected ico income. but when the market crashed in February and it also affected ico's income. so the hype on ico is over now, but if the market immediately rises and the revenue generated by ico also goes up, then the hype in the ico will happen again.
it's not like when the ICO got the attention from the publicity it got a year ago but rather the market has matured and stabilize, no more people getting overhyped into throwing money at nearly everything.
Now the market has stabilize and if the market capital is rising slowly, it will be like that IPO.
3859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC as a Scam on: November 17, 2018, 10:46:59 PM
I also have some bad experience with a KYC verification: it was an ICO project with a KYC, but it had occurred a scam and my personal info was stolen.

This is probably the worst experience you can learn by going through this procedure. I myself have often come across this when I was inexperienced and took part in everything. Never come the procedure of  KYC if you are not sure about the project.

I do not understand how many people have trouble KYC to invest, I have done it several times. And just following what they annotated will be able to complete KYC quickly
You're probably lucky, there's times when people got trapped to submit KYC required data to a scam website and that can be considered as a life threatening since the data that were stolen couldn't be retrieved and if even it can the data would still probably have been coppied somehow.
3860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: November 17, 2018, 09:51:06 PM
It is too early to talk about the death of projects. Most are currently focused on development. It is impossible to build a digital world in 1 or 2 years.I agree that there are projects that just raised money and sit do doing nothing. These are the projects that will disappear in the near future. The remaining 100% will give X.Personally, I believe in the success of those coins in which I invested.
That's quite right actually, sometimes a project after raising money went passive in terms of marketing and making people have less attention but people already assumming that the project is dead while it's actually still in a development stage.
However, there's also plenty that really failed and dying atleast.
