3741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 14, 2019, 11:53:12 AM
I think because it is already launched for long time. That is why people already comfort to use them and we know decentralized exchange make us use our private keys to login, centralized exchanger we only need to make account in there.
People are still not really into decentralized exchange simply because they are not used to all complicated and new things the decentralized exchanges currently have, it's like as you said, they are already in a comfortable zone and not seeking for any better option. However we can't force them to switch on decentralized exchange because it's just not our business.
3742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 13, 2019, 11:46:07 PM

Using decentralized exchanges means that you are owner of your funds not the exchanges.
They do not ask for KYC as well. Decentralized exchanges are still not used widely because
they are not user friendly and usually no customer service there and also having low volume
compared to big, centralized exchanges.

That's true, in case the exchanges got security hole in there the owner can be rest assured that their money is safe or atleast still have some time to recover because the users are the absolute owner of their own token and address. However it is as you say, having low volume is just really inconvenient, people still prefer centralized exchange because its simplicity and fast.
3743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in active projects on: April 13, 2019, 11:02:43 PM
Invest in active project is good, Invest in active project with working product is even better, but when you look at the whole crypto market with all the projects we have, how many can really say they have a working product that people are really using and benefit from their services?
only few of this project has an active product till now, but when the project is still active in development and working towards creating a working product also is important, so i think both are equally good reason for investment.
In reality, investing into active projects is better than investing into inactive projects. Nevertheless, it does not make sure that investing into active projects will bring better profits than do the same into inactive projects. The most important thing is active projects help investors to reduce the risks to lost their capital, because with active projects, investors will have chances, so many chances to at least sell their coins/ tokens, to take loss or to take profits (in good situation), so the risks to get losses will be much lower.
That's just common sense, I mean, "Investing into an active project is better than investing into inactive project" is what definitely people will think.
Active prject will have progress meanwhile inactive project will just be stagnant or even abandoned. Most people already know about that.
3744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: April 12, 2019, 11:41:13 PM
I have overhead many people in various bounty groups talking about how bounty campaigns are gonna die should we move on from ICO to rampant IEO issuance (maybe the exchanges shall take over the advertisements or so).

Fact is that if IEOs become a thing, many projects will arise and hence the services of bounty hunters shall be required again. Every project needs advertisements to expand and that's why we are there as bounty hunters. This is the same way ICOs grew in number.

All we should hope for is a better crypto ecosystem because at the end, we shall be needed for promotion in one way or the other

It now appears so because IEO is looking like a chip of the ICO block. Exchanges now control the sales and distribution. They are Legit and less likely to loose participants funds unlike developers in ICO. However, turn out evens of tokens after sale is not different
It's all always come back to the token's worth afterall.Whether it is listed in a really popular exchanges that could probably boost up your sales. All these token if don't have that good progression or just meh they will definitely being dumped by the investors.
3745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors need to face reality on: April 12, 2019, 10:36:25 PM
Nobody knows what is going to happen next, but you won't stay here for a long time if you cannot think positive. You should always be prepared for worth but hope that the bullish trend is coming and is going to be here soon.
I thought that is a common sense, nothing will stay the same, maybe as the time goes crypto will stabilize and there is mo ICO anymore or something different will happen. What im doing is just gahtering even the slightest opportunity and take it into its fullest potential.
3746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the new model of fundrising is IEO on: April 11, 2019, 10:51:30 PM
The only issue here will be the exchanges that will be offering IEO Soon we are going to be seeing plenty exchanges incorporating those services and i will suggest we just stick to the relevant and most prominent ones on the ground Learn to stick with the ones you have some level of trust with
That is common sense I guess, people with logic will definitely only stick to th trusted exchanges than the shady ones even though the shady exchnages offer illogical benefit which makes it even more shady.
3747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: April 11, 2019, 04:05:50 AM
I save my token from bounty and ico investment in erc20 wallet using myetherwallet website, how ever I think is secure and easy to use because its never have any bad thing with this website.
Well in the past there happening some sort of DNS hijacking that result in many people's private key being stolen, but as of now that they have developed application that could be run locally I think that alone already solve the DNS hijacking problem.
However, talking about security just saving plain privkey without encryption is a no go
3748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: April 06, 2019, 11:31:07 PM
If you only participate in Binance IEO then yes all of the Binance IEO and other big platform's IEO will be good for sure. So, you may keep earning to buy tokens from the Binance launchpad, it is like a good opportunity is ongoing through the Binance Launchpad, Huobi Prime, Bittrex IEO, and Kucoin spotlight! Very soon Bibox IEO will come to hit! So, I think all of these exchange's future IEO will be good and potential!
Well only to remind that it's always better to only join an IEO from well known exchanges that already have known to be legit.
There's no point of joining IEO from an exchanges that are cheaply made and phishy. The main purpose of IEO I think is to make the coin more well known using the popular exchange platform so I guess it's not that different with ICO.
3749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know the trustworthyness of a new coin? on: April 06, 2019, 11:04:03 PM
You can know the trustworthiness of a coin when you observe the coin performance on the market for a while. A coin that keeps falling on the market is not a good coin to invest in. Those that keep rising are very good coins to invest in.
The price falling of a coin usually reflect that the coin is not keeping up with the promise and also have very poor development progress that making their holders just selling their token because they now that the future is not bright with that. I kinda know what you're meaning in this one.
3750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 06, 2019, 10:53:36 PM
In my case, I do hold all the coins that I see that they have potential and I dispose all the coins that I believe they will not recover even the market recovers. Though we have different style or techniques on how to profit in the long run, it is still best that we have unique style on how to adapt and profit from our coins.
Yeah I agree with you, delete the coin that has no potential to get another ATH and there are a lot of them in the market. We know that cut loss is hard, but trust me that it's better than holding a shitty coin.
Exactly it is not good for us, if we are holding a coin which we know is not profit worthy then it is not good to hold it will only make us lose more opportunities, I think in crypto we cannot get better option than investing in bitcoin and ETH because I have seen since long mostly these two coin ruled over the market with their highest potential.

Although these two you mentioned is good but there's plenty of coin that have even higher potential, ETH and BTC is like already on high position and only have a small portion of potential meanwhile new coin tend to bring a really huge potential when they achieve something.
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which one is better? on: April 05, 2019, 10:40:59 AM
Now centralized exchanges remain an option even though it is actually better decentralized, but it really depends on the people who choose it, the risk is also great in the exchange
The centralized is still a prioritized exchanges for many because it's more convenient when it comes to speed, functionality and simplicity although decentralized exchange is more secure, people still think that they are only saving their money in centralized exchange for temporary anyway.
3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does ICO projects became an April Fools? on: April 02, 2019, 11:25:20 PM
The above statement is correct about some coin; their management team only talk and strategize during ICO. After ICO, when the money is in the pocket they go dumb. The greatest they will do is to list on an exchange and they are off while few keep to their words this days.
That's usually happens to an ICO which quite fishy and is undesired by many. I wonder how they get that much people for fundings but that kind of ICO that becomes silent after pocketing all the ICO money usually are not as responsible as other legit ICO.
3753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coins Necessary? on: April 02, 2019, 11:12:12 PM
Stable coins are liked by merchants and they are important for mass adoption of crypto.
How many of them we need the market will decide.
Though stablecoin is proven to be useful when it comes to saving your money however it seems that as of now there's no real adoption for stablecoin because as you can see the almost inexistent volatility could help some merchants that are afraid of volatility to be more confident in adopting blockchain based currency but now there's NONE, That's kinda strange, just really hope stablecoin could push its adoption.
3754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies Wallets on: April 01, 2019, 11:42:56 PM
I like very much that most of the coins are ERC-20 tokens and can be conveniently and safely stored in the MEW wallet. Even my today's favorite - the project of the Sound Money Coin is quietly stored in this wallet. It is very convenient and safe!
Well sometimes I do think the same way as you, the community support for all these ERC20 tokens have gotten is really convenient. It's not limited to wallet but decentralized exchange aswell. Even better is the fact that the newest samsung galaxy s10 has dedicated wallet from factory and that thing can save ethereum and erc20 token.
3755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers will go after IEO soon on: April 01, 2019, 11:04:25 PM
you're right, someday scammers will surface to offer a good IEO and end up tricking investors, especially beginner investors. I think it would be wise if in choosing the IEO to pay attention to all aspects in order to avoid fraud.
I guess it is pretty difficult if the IEO holders such as binance is requiring complicated data verification and did an audit aswell. As you can see most of the project that uses IEO method is the legit ones because we are talking about big name like binance here, although there might be time when an IEO from shitty exchange website will surface, at that time we need to beware.
3756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is too complicated on: March 30, 2019, 04:41:18 PM
Crypto currency is complicated but it's not difficult to learn and understand. Once you start to learn and understand crypto , you will realize that crypto is the future of digital economy.

for now, crypto is quite complicated compared to before. because every crypto's progress must be a challenge that is increasingly difficult, and certainly natural for the development of crypto because the longer the crypto is increasingly tightened its circulation.
It's nothing more complicated than before, for ordinary users it's just about receiving and spending, further technical aspect and advanced things is for geek that really into the blockchain system and cryptocurrency.
I really think that people are overexaggerating about such simple thing making biased suggestion.
3757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms on: March 30, 2019, 04:37:12 PM

Alot more will be onboarded to IEO scheme by end second quarter of 2019. IEOs is the only credible way of collecting funds from investors and its only normal that more exchanges will be approached by project developers to help organise the events
If we are talking about how the developers who want their project to be considered into IEO need to undergo a complicated verification process then I would agree that this way more legit project will be allowed while making the scam having a hard time to go through or is impossible.
But I still really think that the process to participate into IEO is kinda complicated.
3758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know the trustworthyness of a new coin? on: March 29, 2019, 10:48:11 PM
As a new coin coming to the crypto space, many factors always comes to play, such as exchange listing etc. Thus, only trustworthy projects will list on a good exchange while working on their project to offer what was promised. Also, the activeness of the team in this stage matters as it will show how effective and capable they are in staying true to their roadmap.
You will also need to take into account how far their progression could go within few months and also whether they are following their roadmap or not. Fishy developers will always trying to have the chance to now follow the roadmap because they have another hidden plan
but a project that always following the roadmap is a project that atleast keeping its promise.
3759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: March 28, 2019, 03:42:59 PM
The only safest method for storing bitcoin is hardware wallet rest of the online wallets or vulnerable for hacking with various hacking methods
Every wallet that connected to internet is vulnerable to any hacker if we dont always set security measures to protect our computer. Even there's some information that there's exploit inside the hardware wallet and I don't know whether it has been resolved as of now but that alone enough to prove that there's no wallet that is totally safe to hackers even though hardware wallet will give the hackers harder time.
3760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FIGHTING AGAINST ICO SCAM on: March 28, 2019, 03:17:04 PM
Not all ICOs are worthless just look at projects like Ethereum and EOS who successfully raised funds using this method and are now top ranked platforms, however, you are correct in highlighting the fact that this form of crowd funding has been exploited by scammers and professionals who lack the necessary skills or experience to launch a startup and is no longer a popular avenue of raising funds, but all this is starting to change with IEOs and STOs gaining popularity that can offer more protection for investors
I read one of the post of yahoo62278 and I realized reason why many people are taking advantage of blockchain technology to scam people by creating scam project. The cost of setting up a project is very cheap and this is exactly why we have so many scam projects. more than 50% of the project are using fake images of people as team member with copy and paste whitepaper. I have make it clear that people should stay clear of any project that are not legally registered in any country because it can be suicidal.
Also the regulation on ICO is really weak, it's like there's no protection for any investors and they could be tricked by the complicated terms and agreement. I know people are always thinking about the idea of being decentralized but without regulation it's just as good as a slum for scumbag people.
It's always better to have some kind of authority to every ICO that's going to be held.
