3661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Facebook Just Gave-Up On Libra Project? on: July 30, 2019, 11:06:46 PM
Not a shocking news, government are pushing them too much to not release it, the media always saying bad things about it. Even if it's released I think that will just become a huge failure anyway, better not release it at all.
Since Libra is basically stablecoin it will not affect the market that much. I mean there's already so many stablecoin there. People who always screaming about Libra are those who are just unreasonably got hyped anyway.
3662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most new ICO/IEO projects are new crypto trading platforms on: July 30, 2019, 10:53:59 PM
It's not that the already existing exchanges can't satisfy users, it is just all these people who creates a new exchanges saw a big opportunity of making easy money by just creating an exchanges and starting IEO.
I'm pretty sure that most of the new exchanges offers their quirk but most of them just a gimmick. The already existing exchanges are already fine and don't need useless features but creating new one is not a problem anyway.
3663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Centralized exchange will be soon dominated by Non-Custodial Exchanges on: July 28, 2019, 08:51:22 AM
Maybe that would be a solution, but people are really persistent when it comes to switching over exchange service to another ones that is a bit more "complicated" in their eyes because it is a new thing and thus low volume.
Plenty of projects there trying so many new models of exchange. Hybrid, decentralized and many more. But, they failed. and you know why? it is the volume and people's participation that is not enough. For many teams there that are trying to solve the centralized exchange problem, keep in mind that without the volume and liquidation the services will be just forgotten.
3664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: July 28, 2019, 08:29:58 AM
Centralized exchanges shouldn't even operate without being regulated. and as long as they are centrally controlled, they can be easily abused. Real exchanges (real decentralized exchange) have little or non of this problem.
Centralized exchanges are the source of many financial frauds in crypto world.
There are very few centralized exchanges don't ask for KYCs, but you can choose decentralized exchanges to avoid KYC requirements, if you don't want to do it. Crypto Bridge is one of good decentralized exchanges for you.
Most of the centralized exchanges don't ask KYC if you only have small money there, if it is a huge money maybe that you withdrawn a day maybe more than 0.5 BTC they would definitely ask you for KYC. Even in Binance they have withdrawal limit of 0.5 BTC if i'm not mistaken for non-KYC users and most of the users have no problem with that. However I still can't deny the fact that submitting your ID for KYC will grant you freedom by sacrificing your anonimity.
3665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any altcoins that are Standalone? on: July 28, 2019, 08:04:21 AM
Unfortunately as I've seen most of the altcoins despite not under the blockchain of any other cryptocurrency still huge or little affected by either Bitcoin or ETH even USDT and many stablecoin got a little dump when the bearish happens since they are like the benchmark and pair of anycoin out there. If what you mean by standalone coins is to have their own blockchain then you can see on the CMC and check their blockchain explorer and you will find it out.
3666  Economy / Economics / Re: 🔵 Facebook Agrees to Pay $5 BILLION, BUT will they ever stop?? on: July 27, 2019, 11:08:39 PM
They will not and that is for certain. With Libra they are trying to gain the rule over some percent of world's money. They are trying to make so much money by creating digital money and not to mention that they already have the datas from the people all over the world to do that.
If Facebook could pay $5 Billion with ease despite the huge amount, that doesn't stop them from doing what they have done all over again to gain that much amount of money. I'm pretty sure that if they can pay such amount they can make it again eventually.
3667  Economy / Economics / Re: Zimbabwe government trying to push for new Zimbabwe Dollar - Surprised? on: July 27, 2019, 11:02:40 PM
New economical model doesn't work out if its not sustainable. You can do whatever you want, you can find the greatest solution to inflation ever but as long as its not sustainable it would not make any difference at all. For example, why does their money worth nothing? Its because they have too much debt and they do not have anything to sell outside world so anything they buy from other countries would mean higher debt for them, how do they end up paying that debt?

By printing more money for themselves and exchanging it to dollars as much as they can and pay it. That makes their money worth less and devalue and they keep doing that over and over again. You need to find a solution that would not require you to print money to begin with. If you can't do that than there is no temperament solution, only temporary bandaid.
and I will bet that their citizens will trying to exchange their money to foreign currency and stack them before the huge inflation hits.
It is basically like offering a paper that grant you access to gold and then they remove the gold but still expecting that paper to be worth or holds the value.
That will work as long as people didn't know that the gold has gone but they will eventually know anyway.
3668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: July 27, 2019, 10:52:25 PM
Signing is safe. But, don't ever give any privkey or email when you are trying to join that airdrop. Even better if you use a brand new address since generating one is not that hard anyway.
Airdrop usually ends up selling your data somewhere else and you will get so many spam emails from that even some case there's phishing email so you need to really beware and only choose airdrop from some kind of reliable developers team.
3669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I would move for security if it’s really better on: July 26, 2019, 12:21:22 PM
There are more robust and secured option such as decentralized exchange and hardware wallet and people still didn't want to use them anyway. Wonder why? people want a more convenient way of dealing with their problem instead of finding the mroe secured although harder way. People just don't feel like trading on decentralized platform and because of that the liquidity is low then many people will become less interested because of that reason aswell.

Imagine being the people that complaints about the hacking that occurs so frequently these days while not realizing that they are the one that caused such a thing to happens. Even million of posts here have warned the danger of saving money in exchanges and people still save it there anyway.
3670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Tron will overcome this FUDS on: July 26, 2019, 12:15:10 PM
It is a hype coin. The founder currently need to face many accusations that are against him and got stuck in China while rumours say that he has kidney stone but i'm not buying that. Their dapps are indeed many but most of them are just those third rate dapps that essentially and practically has no use other than for things that are generally considered bad (gambling and etc).

Even if Tron has many features that its competitor doesn't have as a smart contract platform if no one gonna use it then it's useless. Unlike Ethereum that still used until today as a smart contract platform simply because it is more mature Tron will just be an "option".
3671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need deflationary token on: July 25, 2019, 10:44:49 AM
Some projects already have burn program to reduce total supply and cause scarcity. Defamatory tokens as I understand in recent times are been created by scammers to steal fund from traders. Most are scam. Blockburn, Anarchy etc.
Even burn in program can't withstand the dumpings that usually happens to those altcoin thus making it failed to become a solution to create a deflationary coins. The value fluctuates and the scarcity will means nothing if there is no demand and liquidation. I've witnessed many of the coins that have burn in program and such a thing is a must for most altcoins back then when ICO is trending and see now, only a little could pump its value (still fluctuates a lot) and many of them turns out to be dust.

I think that deflationary token need to be backed up by real things that are deflationary aswell like gold.
3672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Don't trust Satowallet! on: July 24, 2019, 05:40:49 PM
So, if I send some coins to a wallet and then next day that coin get removed from the wallet without a warning, I should just accept that my coins are lost and I should argue with them about this?

And they not just a wallet, they are an exchange, too.

I wrote the email to them 2 weeks ago, they don't even care to respond.

And yes, it wrote to me I have to wait 3 minutes before I can post again, but that would have been my first post 🤔 when the 3 minutes were gone I tried to post again, it said I already posted it but it wasn't there.
From your testimony looks shady indeed.I'd give a generic advice with only using a popular exchange or popular wallet but it seems that you already lost your money maybe you can spread your problem to the internet so that you may catch their attention and to prevent people from being a victim there aswell. With these kind of exchanges usually they just don't care how many times you submit a ticket, the best is to ruin their reputation if they don't want to be responsible.
3673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR BINANCE IEO on: July 24, 2019, 04:53:30 PM
Well, they do offer the idea and have wrote down the whitepaper, you can find technical and read it. Although some people might say that IEO is simply a money flipping but it is just some people need to look after the project when the IEO finished so that we can know the progress. The hype simply gone after the IEO finished because people already get their token and I tell you that most of them just don't care about the project what they care is just money and that's why most of project seems like dead after the IEO while actually is not, and I'd say that I will personally not consider these project as long term.
3674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON Dumps as CEO “Locked Down” in China Ahead of Warren Buffett Lunch on: July 24, 2019, 04:21:55 PM
There are different variants of stories as to why TRX dumped lately. Some say Justin Sun was ill with kidney stones as tweeted by TRON foundation, now this thread says he was involved in illegal stuff. I think Justin was not involved in the illegal activity.
It is already stated that he's "Locked Down" the kidney stones is just a rumour while this one already stated on many various media.
Whether or not he's involved in an illegal activity we don't really know because I personally don't expect such information to be revealed.
3675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IS there any ICO rating websites we can trust. on: July 23, 2019, 11:13:00 PM
Seriously speaking,I do not have any ico rating website in mind that I consider trustworthy, they are of less importance personally off late. I do not trust any because there is no fair in what they publish, some projects pays to be ranked higher. We have seen several projects with a rating scale of 4.8 but still ended up as scam. do your research well and never trust any ico rating website.
Yeah, I usually used them only to find some project that I didn't know of before. They tend to be listed there despite the biased rating and scoring that kinda helps a little. Also, regardless the rating, still, if a project is not listed there that'd be even more shady so even just exist there will adds some kind of legitimacy in the eyes of people.
3676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: July 23, 2019, 11:09:33 PM
The very first step to protect your crypto is to store them in hardware wallets, paper wallets, or cold storages.

Keep these tips in mind as well:

  • Keep your information private and avoid public WiFi networks that are an easy target for hackers.
  • Always use strong passwords and add 2-factor authentication for all of your accounts.
  • Store your cryptocurrency on multiple wallets.
  • Always use a password manager, so you don’t use an old password.
  • Do not post your email address, home address, or phone number on social media.
  • Keep your antivirus up-to-date to avoid downloading malware.
  • Don’t forget to backup your wallet periodically.
  • For cold storage wallets and backup wallets recovery seed at home, keep them in a fireproof safe.

I am not sure if having multiple wallets is gonna  be a good practice though. I mean you could just have two wallets, one for your hodlings and another one for your tradings. Unless you're like a crypto businessmen then I think it is quite applicable, just don't put it in online wallets wherein private keys aren't handled by you and don't hold your coins inside of an exchange, people should already know that but I am still hearing a lot from people losing a lot of their coins due to hacks in the exchanges they're trading at. I've read in Reddit that people recommended Keeper as their password manager in anything though.
having multiples wallets is a good practice only if you capable of mantaining it. Even hardware wallet nowadays always randomly change the address of your wallet right? that is to avoid someone lurking on your wallet and if you have multiples wallets the chance you get hacked and lose all your money will be reduced.
3677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDEX is complying to KYC and other regulations on: July 20, 2019, 03:24:58 PM
One of the most used DEX exchange. However, I rarely trade more than $ 5k on a DEX. So I think KYC will not affect me. I will still continue to use it without having verification.
The volume in actual ideas is also very good. even idex is also one of the large-scale decentralization exchanges with its trading volume. maybe the team did this to avoid scammers or laundering funds
That's indeed to avoid scammers or money laundering even it is to prevent any possible criminality and that's why it's named Know Your Customer.
Though I'd agree that there's rarely someone who trade huge chunks of crypto in there, most of them are just small players. But, still this decentralized exchange is kind of iconic.
3678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized exchanges vs Decentralized exchanges on: July 20, 2019, 03:15:25 PM
With so many hacks and regulations CEX can´t survive a fight with DEX.
But also we see that regulators are trying to regulate IDEX, the first DEX on ethereum network.  Roll Eyes
That thing to be expected, there's the big boys that wanted to prevent the money laundering and I do support that requirement to prevent criminality, although that might be really inconvenient for many people. Also to take into account that submitting your data everywhere is really risky privacy wise.
3679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can libra upset world economy if not regulated ? on: July 20, 2019, 10:32:31 AM
since the past few months, Facebook decided to launch its own coin, they have been a lot of controversies, as some compared the altcoin directly with bitcoin.

one of its major controversy is if it can upset the world economy, if not regulated.  The worry of majority is  prospective firm having as much power as countries in creating a means of payment.

According to Benoit Coeure, Global stable coin could boost competition in payment sector, reduce fees for consumer and support greater financial inclusion, but warned it might undermine the effort to clamp down on money laundering, terrorism financing and tax compliance.

Is Facebook launching a stable coin on a global scale without regulations harmful to world economy?
Imagine how much money will escape certain countries to facebook's pocket? Libra is a centralized crypto and the one who issues that coin will hold the power, such a thing is dangerous if they are just bunch of greedy people controlling some percent of world money, we got enough with all those ultra rich people that rule over more than a half the country's economy. Libra if not regulated will just add another problem, that's just my 2 cents.
3680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: July 20, 2019, 09:03:48 AM
altcoin will be boosted if ETH prices increase, now ETH is in a bad period, while BTC is heading towards ATH, I think if you want to boost Altcoin prices, what is important now is creating a good ecosystem at ETH.
Not all altcoins will be driven from the increase in ETH prices, because there are also altcoins that experience price increases when ETH declines, it all depends on the market and traders playing in the market, indeed the effect is clearly on other altcoins if ETH increases but not for all altcoin.

To note that not all fo altcoins are under ethereum blockchain, moreover even it is, there's no strong correlation which prove that any altcoins under blockchain ETH will do well at ETH bullish time since they are basically independent project funded on different occasion and they just borrow ETH blockchain that's it.
