No one knows exactly what's currently going on at the moment but it's really looks like a sign of bullish market and maybe the history will repeats? Q3 to the end of the year the market will be bullish again just like before.
If that so, that's a good thing. Otherwise keeps on watching the market, just hoping that the sudden pump is not a bulltrap.

Just like centra back then when they paid mayweather to promote the ico. an ICO promoted by famous person doesn't mean auto profit, instead, it can be catastrophic so just beware.
Use logic and not just merely emotion, don't invest because it's advertised by famous people but invest because you see a future in the project.

Whales like mtgox owner that hold so much coin are just dont care about the market price or even taking the chance to do trades in the current market, what they are doing is just dump, dump and dump unfortunately.
Although mtgox promise not to dump it to the market earlier, im pretty sure that there's plenty of whales that still want to dump the coin.

Not entirely true, if the total supply of a coin is increasing but at the same time the demand goes high causing the price to stabilize or even go higher, the market capitalization will be surely adds up equal to the inital supply + additional supply.
Although majority of coin when there's additional supply released, the value will go down really fast.

Last year in mid, the price of altcoins are high because the market was bullish unlike what happened at the moment. Judging that every mid will be a bearish market is not a right decision. Maybe some people believe in crypto yearly price cycle.
But, that can't be used as a technical analysis. It's just like what happened few years ago when the market is bearish for about 1 whole year or even more.

Even stock market sometimes face the same fate and it's a really normal for something that has value, fluctuation could happen any time and bearish market is always lurking when you still enjoy the bullish market.
Even if people here are complaining that will do nothing, for people who still baghold, that's a good thing to reduce the supply in the market.

Japan has rumoured such regulation to forbid the use of anonymous or untraceable coin such as those coins you have mentioned. But to think that government is going to develop a crypto, maybe there's a chance, but it's kinda too slim. They want to take control over everything in the country and having decentralized thing is not good for them.
Supposedly they will try to make a coin that's centralized, but I guess the realistic idea is that they just advance their own banking technology and create something like paypal, but owned by the country.

That's right, I see that if we are talking about the security, a decentralized exchange is the most promising option out there although I honestly think that these decentralized exchanges doesn't fully decentralized as what it is promised but there's no need to give any credentials data like passport and such.
But, the only pain in the ass for using such service is the fact that people are rarely interested to trade there, as a result, a quite low volume transaction and really high price volatility.

Well, the price movement of cryptocurrency could drastically change within an hour, the market turning to bullish within months ahead does make sense. But, it's all always depends on the market. What I always wondering is that how people believe that pump will happen at the end of the year? and if it really happen, how people could pump it together at that time but not for now? quite confusing for my brain honestly.

That's pure speculation then, no technical analysis but only hoping that the history will repeats which is not really obvious considering that bitcoin just didn't always bullish at the end of the year.
There's time that bitcoin will be bearish for the whole 2 years consecutively. If you can take the risk that's okay but believing that history will repeats without any strong reason backing it up is definitely not okay.

Mycrypto or MEW is basically the same, if you want to securely use both, make offline wallet by using their given source code in the github, it's way better than accessing it online so that you won't get phished into someone else's website giving away your private key.
Otherwise if you want a real security measure just buy hardware wallet instead and if you want an absolute security over your asset especially if you want to hold it for a long time, buy a mini pc and install wallet inside it, import privkey and never connect it to internet until you will spend the asset inside.

I don't think that hitbtc is such a good option because I remember when they are always disabling the withdrawal button making so many people worry about their funds, if I were to choose I'd simply go to binance.
If you are trader, it is always better to choose exchanges that have quite of daily trading volume so that the activity can go faster, not just waiting for buy or sell orders.

All altcoins are valued in bitcoin since the beginning, what exactly your point?
The fact that so many altcoins price are following bitcoin itself is kinda scary that considerinf the whales only need to manipulate bitcoin and  the whole crypto market can be affected.

Or...long term, because when you hold it for a long term you won't care to the current market condition because you are holding it for years, you only need to look at the yearly price growth and then just leave it alone.
Until at some point when you need to your investment and you are already up few hundred percent, that's what I call long term investment.

I don't really think that a "good news" could do that much but instead it's always "regulation" that makes cryptocurrency pumped even in the bearish market but however really expecting that to come down and will see what will happen.
However talking about the truth, the crypto bubble has popped out, now all left is the normal market with a little bit spice of manipulation.

The market is currently in a bearish condition, what do you expect? just remember those days when bitcoin reach its peak at $20,000 almost every ICO when it got listed in the market is pumped and now what happening is quite the opposite
so that's just natural. If the market have no dump, it'll be obvious that all we here will be rich an instant but no, the world doesn't work that way.

I found that Idex works the same way as bancor, we need to deposit the ETH or ERC20 token to the smart contract first before we can place the order to the market. Never actually get bothered with it but once I realize that it's
actually the same as centralized exchange but less stricter. I wonder what if someone just found the hole to get through to the smart contract, what will happen by that.

This thing has been discussed since long ago in this forum, if you are really interested to that topic just use the search engine and it seems that cryptocurrency will still requires more than a quantum super computer to decrypt.
As if someone has said, it requires all the resource this planet have just to decrypt bitcoin so pretty much not a threat for cryptocurrency, but wait until the quantum computer out I guess.

That's right but here we are talking about which one of them is more profitable compared to each other. Basically, in this case we need to look into the price volatility of each coin.
BCH as you can see is created long time after Ethereum genesis and the price has surpassed ETH and currently more than about 1,5x price of ETH right now. If we make a conclusion from that, BCH will be a better option of an investment, but seeing from other factor and the fact that ETH will eventually switch to PoS, I think that ETH can be a better investment option but doesn't really sure about that.
