3801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: February 06, 2019, 03:11:19 PM
because bitcoin can damage the economic market because the price is fluctuating and the price changes are very fast and big. if it is used as a product conversion, it will be difficult and may fail to reach the goal. if it can stabilize prices, maybe bitcoin will be better than fiat.
Even gold with really huge market capitalization has had price rally and downfall whereas bitcoin is nowhere near gold’s market cap and that just actually seems like a wishful thinking but. We are really hoping such thing to happen of course.
3802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: February 06, 2019, 03:01:52 PM
Myetherwallet, in my opinion, is very safe. Although there are still many people who lose tokens when storing in Myetherwallet. I suggest you can save your password and don't let anyone know it. And if you don't do that and you can lose it all.
Cant blame it to MyEtherWallet honestly because they don’t store your data it is the users fault when they are losing because they just don’t want to invest a little bit much to their security or even worse they actually don’t give an attention to that.
3803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: burning token on: February 05, 2019, 11:35:55 PM
I often read and heard about burning tokens that were not sold when the ICO project was finished, I also knew that by burning the rest of the token was a strategy so the price of the token didn't fall, but if the DEV and the team didn't burn it was a crime? is there a requirement that the remaining unsold tokens must be burned?
What will be done to leftover tokens or tokens that were not sold, is most times left for the developers to decide on what to do with it.
One thing that might put them under compulsion, but not necessary compulsory, is if it is already stated that tokens will be burnt. Then investors might want to hold them unto their words.

But not so many platforms are distributing the rest of unsold tokens rather than burn them all to the market. It looks similar but it has the risk about the possibility to create the more dump to the market dude. I remember some developers have applied that. That depends on how the team manage the unsold token because they have the main key.
well you know what, burning token will help to increase the value of token rather than redistributing it. I mean the less he supply.the higher value. The devs would also prefer to burn it because it will help to pump thw value of their assets aswell.
3804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges on: February 05, 2019, 11:11:59 PM
Centralized exchanges are now much more popular than decentralized. Centralized exchanges are faster than decentralized. Also, centralized exchanges have a greater volume of trades. Perhaps in the future the situation will change, but at the moment, decentralized exchanges cannot compete with centralized exchanges.
The advantages that you just mentioned are already been there since ages. Decentralized exchange prioritize the security and safety of user by letting no one in charge of storing the money. That also why decentralized exchange kinda slow.
3805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet still work? on: February 05, 2019, 11:04:31 PM
I heard that the wallet MEW may not be used anymore, this information is true. So if the wallet MEW for some reason can not be used then can we use any other wallet?

I've heard quite a number of complains about this myetherwallet and although people consider it as the best, I don't think it is very safe. I still maintain that ImToken wallet is much better
People consider hardware wallet as the best when it comes to security not myetherwallet. MEW up till now is still quite safe if you know the proper way to maintain your privkey. They didnt record your privkey.
3806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: January 31, 2019, 10:02:36 PM
Scammer is really work hard because is not easy to scam someone it has to take extra work for the scammer so they are not lazy.
They are doing it for money after all, I mean shady money. At the end of the day it doesnt matter whether the scammers are putting extra effort to scam people what they did considered as criminality and should be catched and punisued accordingly.
3807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit appoint new boss on: January 31, 2019, 04:29:50 PM
Steemet really disappointed lot of investors who invested into it, it not gone well as expected. Hope with the new boss, it can raise again some expectations in all who invested and believe upon this project.
Not sure about then when you are seeing not so many people are using steemit again right now and medium has taken its place. Look at the demand of steemit platform and you will see all of the truth about the future of steemit platform itself. this coin is dead.
3808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latoken Exchange Ethereum withdrawal still pending for over 24 hours on: January 31, 2019, 04:26:46 PM
Good evening! I withdrew Ethereum last night and it's still under "Security Checking " for over a day now. Anybody here experienced the same with their withdrawals? I already submitted my ID for verification but nothing happened. All they could say is wait and be patient. Is it goodbye for Latoken?

You got security checking maybe because you are withdrawing thousand dollars of Ethereum, some exchange put a limit on how big you can withdraw based on your verification, you need to go through that if you are withdrawing thousands of dollars.

No Sir. Its only .27 Ethereum. Funny isn't it? How could they hold such a small amount? They can send it. Something is not right.

Yeah, it looks silly to be honest. I used Latoken only once to convert bounty reward to eth and everyting was smooth back then. The first thought for your case was the exaggeration of withdrawal limits, but it's obviously not. Have you received any answer from their support? Do they received your request at all?

Support replies. But I just hope they are also faster when it comes to solving the problem.
I guess if you have created a request and then your amount must be in latoken's query. The only way for you to waiting for that and you can try to create a second request to withdraw your money from there.
Basically, this problem does not happen with the whole of latoken users.
3809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 31, 2019, 04:21:02 PM
This is ideal timing be strict on our position, not to be manipulated at any cost. Ongoing ETH breakout is looking great, setting up nicely here. Here, the market is very tough to predict that's why fall may be inevitable. But, price is cheap, so ensure at the end you regret the chances you didn't take.
Investors who can take advantage of bearish market will get returns in later bullish one.
It's a hard time for investors, but as the saying goes: There are challenges, there are also big opportunities
Ethereum, in reality, have brought great chances for us this year.
Just curious about what will happen after ether gets its block decrease and do these speculators will take it as a serious thing. POS, Scalability fixed, i hope this one will try to implement anti asic miners too.

Without bullish and all of these coins that you have bought during the crash will be useless.
3810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges manipulation. Can't withdraw during the pump. on: January 31, 2019, 04:06:53 PM
It's probably the people pumping so hard and sending so many buy requests in the trade to the server so the server went down.
If the server goes down that easily might aswell close down the exchange at all since they will hardly meet the requirements of having proper site with good server so that nothing bad will happen.
3811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: January 31, 2019, 03:43:36 PM
One reason is the handling. The more opportunities the population has, the harder it is to manage it. Obviously, when receiving and paying in a cryptocurrency, a citizen of a certain country will partially bypass the taxes of that country.
Tax evading is done by the people who uses fiat aswell. It is just unwise to put all the blame to crypto because of some people that does wrong thing. Most of the government are against crypto simply because they hardly accept new things just like when internet still not a thing.
3812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: January 30, 2019, 11:17:35 PM
Because of the increase in the number of platforms requesting documents, the number of falsifications and documents stolen and sold on the black market has increased ... this situation is impressive
and the core problem is because the project requesting for kyc without any prove that they are legit. People also could fall easily for this trick. Project that requires KYC should only be the one that apready being verified by the government.
3813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: January 30, 2019, 11:10:34 PM
To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.
I believe that kis is much better to make the bounty much cleaner from bots , as it is unlikely that people will be able to pass kyc if they have a lot of accounts
That is true but we really need more secured method of kyc not just giving away our portant data to strangers, imagine if our photo and identity leaked in the deepweb being uses to abuse some e commerce sites. Our data is honestly more important than thousands dollars.
3814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: January 30, 2019, 05:20:48 PM
I don't always check coinmarketcap. my tokens in my portfolios are best safely monitored on their listed exchanges.
That is my sole believe, sometimes you end up viewing fake hype pumps on coinmarketcap.

Learn to do things yourself.
Definitely. Most of the time there is some shitty coin that got pumped all of sudden and then after checking out it is nothing more than manipulation because the volume is just too low
3815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think abot ico new projects? on: January 30, 2019, 05:18:01 PM
Dears,
Alot of new ico projects every day.
Do you think all will make thier way to success.
And what elrments needed for aproject to succeed.

no, I am not very sure if all existing projects will end successfully.
Why? because they don't really continue their real project so the price of the token will fall very fast.
Sometimes even if the project has a really good devs that always continously developing the project the token price will still fall anyway since there is low demand basically what you are saying cant be used to determine whether or not thw price will fall.
3816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: January 30, 2019, 04:11:40 PM
old coins: coins that went through the bull run
new coins: are ICO tokens from projects during the bear market, mostly not listed on exchanges.

It is obvious that all the aspect of the space had struggled due the giant force of bitcoin. Over the past year the average dump in price of most of the old token/altcoin from the last bull run is close to 90% while the new coin are holding to their price. Most ICOs in the later part of 2018 decided to postpone the listing which their decision could be justified or condemned as the market revives.
With the approaching news of bull run and present the value of altcoins,
1.  can the altcoins ever hit the ATH price even at $20000 bitcoin?
2. Can the new coin from ICO be an alternative even with so much old coin held in some portfolios?
3. will you choose to hold on to old coins or sell to invest into new ICOs?

New Coin ICOs is imposibble now to gain much, because many already lost because of scam ICOs .. New coin giving for free via airdrop is the best way to distribute a coin like X-cash
most of the time at the moment coins that are airdropped usually have nearly zero value. We are at the bearish market and such thing as losing capital cannot be avoided. Wait for bull run and we will see.
3817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: January 29, 2019, 11:22:17 PM
Which wallet do you consider for ERC-20 tokens and how safe is it?

I trust only hardware wallets - Ledger or Trezor. Only they can guarantee the safety of private keys.
All other solutions do not guarantee the safety of the private key.
I can't trust ledger, Did you see how many hacked cases happened with ledger? It's not so safe as you said. Trezor offers a better security than ledger. So many people have created a lot of thread if they are loosing their money caused by ledger vulnerability.
3818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ? on: January 29, 2019, 11:18:27 PM
Blockchain is the mother of the cryptocurrency inventions. It is pretty trustworthy. There is a chance that cryptocurrencies may fail, but blockchain technology will certainly remain or be modified
it is not pretty trustworthy but it is absolutely trustworthy
There is no way a blockchain which programmed.properly and verified ny the whole community by making it open source could think by itself and scamming people.
3819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: January 29, 2019, 11:00:45 PM
Great work. This list is very helpful. I've read recently that the real profit from 0x exchange (only their comission) is very small, almost over 3000$. Also Binance will open their dex platform for all users soon.
Dex exchanges tend to have really small profit but the exchanges requires little resource anyway. No need to provide customer support or anything, just provide the website andnthe server and the community will automatically trade bu themselves.
