3901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon on: November 03, 2018, 08:13:59 AM
Vitalik already announced new new Ethereum 2.0 but the price from it did not increase. Let's wait for succession of events now.
Still announcement and is not implemented yet, what do you expect?. However the main purpose of this new technology implementation is to improve the overall ability of the network, if the price goes up aswell, consider that as additional bonus.
3902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies on: November 02, 2018, 04:06:33 PM
No way, man. Governments make collaborations with crypto start ups, so they will never kill crypto.
It is blockchain technology, new step in revolution.
crypto is a very good technology because it has many advantages so the government will support it but requires a lot of processes because crypto still has some weaknesses that need to be corrected. Currently there are many fraudulent projects or coins that need to be removed so that crypto will be safer and accepted by many people.
Most of the time it is blockchain that is deemed to be revolutionary. However crypto as a product could indirectly be considered as a result of that more advanced technology and it's not wrong to be said so but just not really right. Talking about fraud, it's everywhere and really hard to be annihilated, the most effective way is proper regulation.
3903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponing Listing on the Exchange due bear market conditions on: November 02, 2018, 03:29:28 PM
Now almost all the projects carry lists and do what I think is right. Those projects that went on the stock exchange lost 80-90% of the cost. It is better to wait until the market stops falling and stabilizes.
This mainly happened to those overrated coins that actually have zero utilities but people are still buying it anyway. If the coin is really useful it won't lose its value that easily regardless of the bearish market.
However,ICOs that can't reach cap usually lost its value in an instant though.
3904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: November 02, 2018, 02:59:49 PM
It is not the end of Ethereum, because the whole market is going down and not only this coin. If you have such a logic, you can say, that this is the end of all crypto currencies. But it wouldn't be so smart, because it is just a red market that will change soon.
true, if this condition is considered as the end of ethereum then we have to consider this is the end of all crypto Undecided and i don't think this is the end of anything, this is just a common condition in crypto industry
People are just getting hyped up over something irrelevant. The end of Ethereum will only come when there's a massive banned for blockchain technology or else the internet getting shut down all over the world so there's no more hash power. The value of ETH can't really kill ethereum even if it get down to nearly zero.
3905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stabletokens going to be the new altcoin hype? on: November 01, 2018, 11:03:27 PM
I don't think so, these tokens have no utility outside exchanges and there are too many doubts about their reliability. At the end, only one or two of them will be adopted by exchanges and in a few months we will not hear about them anymore.
Actually these tokens definitely have utility which is for money transfer and really good at that. No volatility whatsoever and the token is backed up with real world money.
It's a crypto that was created for reserving wealth and it will lasts long because the existence of reserved money behind that token making people less paranoid.
3906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of Crypto Currency? on: November 01, 2018, 10:31:57 PM
as of now we cant see much difference but in due time we will see it will affect our daily life like for example buying goods , paying rent , and being your own bank its kinda thats far from now but in due time we will see it
That will happen only if mass adoption starts. People are holding back from accepting crypto due to the volatility that's too high. However there's stablecoin but I don't know why people are still not accepting that kind of coin but if they do, they could solve their main reason of why they don't accept crypto which is volatility.
3907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: November 01, 2018, 10:26:53 PM
I think that the passage of KYC for airdrops is nonsense. As for the bounty, too ... Then our data is distributed all over the Internet for some kind of not quite legitimate action. Well, this is an option.I personally saw how the guys in the group of telegrams sells screenshots of users with their id cards. There is even a whole base for downloading in free access ... Where does all our data come from? That's why I bypass all such bounty.
True, the odd of being scammed is quite high, our data is really important thing and it's worth more than $500. Just imagine if someone uses our data for illegal activity and as a result we are reported to the police meanwhile we know nothing about barely anything. I won't hand over my data to stranger.
3908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 28, 2018, 11:26:45 PM
Perhaps, since there are specially trained people who specialize in hacking attacks and hacking, and the protection on some wallets leaves much to be desired, but on the other hand, each hacking motivates the project to modernize its protection

It's true that there's actually no system safe in this world and that's why exchanges always allocating fund to advance its security system.
Even trezor is leaked to have a hole in it, but, the amount of people who want to waste so much energy and resources just to hack a wallet is too few that people won't get bothered for that, the only big problem is those scammers that use phishing website
3909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My Ether Wallet hacking on: October 28, 2018, 10:16:13 PM
No one is hacking MEW wallets. If people are losing money out of their MEW wallets then it is simply because they are either using fake MEW sites or because they are somehow exposing their private keys. Otherwise MEW is just as safe as any other wallet. Of course, if you want full peace of mind then hardware wallets like ledger are your only solution
Yeah, people keep telling that MEW is hacked and more nonsense without realizing that it's not the website that got hacked but the user is getting phished.
That's also why MEW and Mycrypto forbid direct log in through privatekey using the website for this main reason.
3910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of Crypto Currency? on: October 28, 2018, 10:08:36 PM
I think many benefits using cryptocurrency: You can access to everyone, Lower fees, and immediate settlement (Purchasing real property don't involve a number of third parties (Lawyers, Notary), delays, and payment of fees).
Purchasing property still involve third parties lol, notary is there to change the right of owning for the property if I'm not wrong
and the blockchain is not going to save that data but instead save the transaction only.
3911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: October 28, 2018, 09:43:34 PM
I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.
Most of the celebrities that we see who come to endorsed any crypto project know nothing or little about crypto, so how will they know if the project is good or not after they might have been paid. I do not even see why a genuine project with good offer, would need the endorsement of any celebrity. I just have to be careful with such project. Even though there is any other thing that attracts me to the project, mere seeing it endorsed by a celebrity, then i have to take critical look at it.
I have the same thought, celebrity endorsement is just a gimmick and I bet even most of the people in crypto don't like the idea of all this celebrity endorsement simply because the project is burning money for nothing but meaningless exposure to untargeted, wrong audiences. Project should take a different approach to audiences rather than using this gimmicky marketing.
3912  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: October 28, 2018, 09:35:35 PM
There is no ICO without whitepaper, that is the basis of the formation of ICO projects from concepts, development, roadmap, and others and all of them have been arranged in the whitepaper
There is, and that ICO without whitepaper tend to be suspicious, unresourceful and unfinished. It's a way for some people to scam another by creating fake ICO
even they have no knowledge to create whitepaper so the project ended up having no whitepaper.
Usually, project that dont have whitepaper is for airdrop and the main purpose is to grab easy money.
3913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: October 28, 2018, 09:19:39 PM
It is certainly a difficult time for the whole crypto, especially for the altcoins.
But Ethereum is a solid platform, even if it has suffered from too many shitcoins created within it.
However, when some cleaning has been done, I think ETH will recover great.

The creation of shitcoin within ethereum blockchain have nothing to do with ethereum's end though. even i bet there's there might be thousand of shitcoin
that people know nothing about created under ethereum blockchain, and there's no need cleaning since it will have zero effect as long as it can't overload the blockchain,
3914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum a threat to bitcoin on: October 28, 2018, 09:14:14 PM
it is not a threat, there is a collaboration as well. Have you heard that BTC will be used as wbtc to transfer funds in ethereum network?
Dex exchanges will suggest opportunity to fix your tokens in btc amount!
It's  still a competition considering that each coin have its own market cap which sometimes cross to each other and making it as it is a competition to attract the funds.
However, quite interested with that information, might find it out later.
3915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it secure to use MyEtherWallet? on: October 28, 2018, 04:29:23 PM
Many people say that this wallet is not very safe, but I do not understand such people. If you have hands growing not from any wallet will not be safe for you. For very stupid invented a special hardware wallets to enhance your security
Right. If the user is careful and accurate, he can safely use MEW; if the user is a donkey, no hardware wallet will ensure the security of coins and tokens.
Hardware wallet could ensure the security of your money even if the user is as dumb as donkey and know nothing but to follow the instruction. The thing is, hacker can steal private key while the hackers need to get in contact physically when it comes to hardware wallet.
3916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO, is it good or bad idea? on: October 28, 2018, 09:14:48 AM
Some investors always wants to be anonymous they don't want to share their personal details but nowadays many project developers are asking KYC because of policies of their countries and they need to comply with them and we have no choice to give them instead. But we can expect KYC procedure for investors certainly build some confidence in the investors mind. It shows some genuity of the project to some extent. I believe it will be helpful to reduce some frauds and as well increase the percentage of successful projects.

Then the problem arise from the project itself, is it worth it to hand our important data to stranger which we dont know? KYC exist to prevent money laundry and it's not wrong ofcourse. but, we need to look further into the credibiity of the project so that we can be sure our data is not fall into unresponsible stranger's hand.
3917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is under threat of Quantum computers on: October 28, 2018, 02:32:14 AM
This is actually not new news, as it has long been known that if there is such a supercomputer, it will be able to bring down the entire blockchain system.

Some said it will some said it will not, even there's plenty of topics here that discussed that matters and they're discussing it intensely and really logical.
If you are curious, you can simply use that search box up there and type quantum computers or supercomputer. Just be sure not to necropost LOL.
3918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: give an explanation about fake ico, and how to find out on: October 28, 2018, 02:14:47 AM
I want to ask about fake ico that is too much lately, is there no controller about it in this forum, too many people are fooled by fake ico, should I have ico verification when creating an ico thread in this forum to make it clearer the ico project

Their white papers is the key to determine whether they are scam or not. You should better read it and you, yourself can easily know how good their project is, If it is attainable and not so promising but its plan is exact, do believe in it. Other thing is to look at their telegram account. You can see how many members it has, if many, do consider it as reliable.
Whitepaper can be bought. It's true that we can find out whether the project is scam or not simply by analyzing their whitepaper which ofcourse includes so much information.
But, however I've heard a service to create a whitepaper from scratch including the technical aspects aswell so I guess, if we can confirm whitepaper at the moment can be faked and need other method to find out.
3919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption of blockchain by corporate entities will influence mainstream adoption. on: October 28, 2018, 01:59:58 AM
I think some people dislike the corporate entities getting involved but to have mainstream adoption you need mainstream companies that people already know and use.
Quite the opposite, the corporate adopting blockchain for its sake of efficiency itself making people quite happy because it's like the showcase of how effective the blockchain technology is.
Not that people actually dislike but well, there might be some of them that really dislike the involvement of the big corporation but atleast it will give us some other benefit.
3920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: October 28, 2018, 01:51:45 AM
Hey guys. Ethereum is looking really bad today. 200$ is lower than on September 2017 ;( Do you think it will recover with crypto market? Or this is the end of ethereum?

Even though ethereum's value today is just 200 dollars, it will not going to be ended since ETH is much more utilized in the payment and other transactions compared to other altcoins. Bitcoin and ETH almost the two top leading cryptocurrency in the world, they are to be considered as the founder of the cryptocurrencies.
$200 is already far surpassed its initial price in the beginning phase of ETH, I just wonder whether people who said Ethereum is going to die just because the price is hitting below $200 ever know that ETH at few years back only priced below $2
