Sigh. Right, obviously this is a losing battle since the majority of people have their's shipped or are hashing away. I can't voice my displeasure without someone coming out of the woodwork who probably already has their order.

Asshole? Nice.

i SAID if you're unhappy, i'll give ya some. you ordered one, yea? how's 4 days of mining at 330 mhash then? that's... i think about .04? pm me an address.

same goes for anyone upset.

as to the shoes: ...well that's... random as hell... let's just check with the girlfriend...shes' a size 7. pass.
1482  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 31, 2013, 02:08:50 AM
oh i got plenty to ship - just sent 3 coin to bitstamp, hence the .34 left. it's up to you guys who feel slighted how much i need i suppose.
1483  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 31, 2013, 02:06:59 AM
wtf. How do you justify shipping some about a week (and counting) later than the others.

he didn't get them all at the same time... and he ALMOST BROKE HIS DAMN FOOT!

...that too.
1484  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 31, 2013, 02:06:19 AM

justify? i don't. i fucked up. i've freely admitted that.

at this exact moment, i have .34 btc and another .1 pending round completion at ozcoin. i'll happily compensate the canadians and anyone else who feels slighted - just be patient while it's mined up, ok?
1485  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 31, 2013, 01:52:13 AM
My order is still not showing as shipped!

Is there an explanation for the delay?

link to spreadsheet of current orders:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjCZrDbAiz_PdE4tbDR3X3owMHNMb1NyekJGWHN4QlE&usp=sharing

My package shows "packed" but not "shipped", where does that leave me?

all but 7 have been shipped as of now. (i've not updated the spreadsheet or sent out the tracking yet, checked the forum first) those 7 are 6 to canada. i would have shipped them already, but i ran out of fiat. i'll be sending some more coin to bitstamp/bitinstant and on to my paypal (i know i know) to finish up in the next few hours.

the remaining 1 is torusjkl - who i do not have a shipping address for. i emailed him about it a couple days ago and got no response.
1486  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 30, 2013, 08:10:47 PM

well that's certainly not right! i was cleaning my "google drive" and apparently accidently got this one. whoops.

4 hours later,  all domestics  are shipped. I actually watched the postal guy pick them up.

I got my tracking number, but since the USPS web site is not showing any information, can you share what shipping method these went out as (Priority Mail vs standard "First Class" mail, etc).  And did you ship them with a required signature, etc?  Just trying to guesstimate which day they might arrive and if I need to have someone stay home that day...

office depot wouldn't ship priority - unless i used prepaid flat rate boxes, which is counter to what i'd done the previous time. i don't get it... but yea. first class. no signatures, should arrive by the 6th or 7th for all of them.

I've got a domestic order for 1, but no tracking number, and its not marked as shipped on the spreadsheet.  Wondering if I could get an update?  Thanks.

slipped through the cracks - i've got it with me and will take it today with the internationals. sorry. i'd forgotten to take the shipping address with me yesterday.

same here for an international order.... i guess arklan is paying up his sleep debt...

...yup... sorry!!! 2 pm and i just woke... slept like 12 hours. i had meant to just nap for a couple, then go ship the internationals...

i'm bad at this.

for those showing shipped but missing tracking: i have shipped them, i just haven't sent you the tracking. i'll do it after i ship the internationals and am sending out their tracking. couple hours or so from now. but rest assured: they got shipped and will arrive next week.
1487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 30, 2013, 08:25:01 AM
I think Human history (and those that control it) have give people the idea that we, humans, are inherently bad. That is false, but when you control the past and present, you have a way of effecting the future.

Agreed. The very next poster provides a case in point:

The moment we free ourselves from the tyranny of the goverment and become free...

I'm selling you my laptop and all my bitcoins for a bow , 10 arrows and a blanket.

A common reaction. People often imagine that without centrally enforced rules, everything would instantly dissolve into a dog-eat-dog war zone with people killing other people at random, looting, raping and taking a shit in front of your door (someone once provided this as an argument in this very same discussion with me..). As if the only thing stopping people from acting this way right now is the looming threat of imprisonment and punishment by the legal system. Divide and conquer still seems to be working quite well.

Have you ever noticed that laws are there for OTHER people? As in the laws are here to prevent other people from killing me and stealing my stuff. Not to prevent me from doing the same. I'm a decent fellow. It's those other bastards...  Grin

i consider myself a well behaved person, generally... never had any cop trouble or anything... but man, if i knew there were no legal repercussions i can easily envision reacting very differently to past situations i've been in. sometimes a person just needs to have their ass kicked, ya know?

1489  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: May 30, 2013, 05:58:32 AM
correct me if i'm wrong - but do i understand correctly that we can, when the sites live, simply order from burnin, and don't need to order chips separately?
1490  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 30, 2013, 05:55:53 AM

yes. but the mentioned 5 are above that. i have 28 total here. my 5, the 19 extra, and an additional 5. i'll treat them as warranty replacements, i'm just confused how they... well, exist.

I'll be truly impressed with this group if some a-hole does not come back with a bogus report of 5 missing units.  I hope to god that you end up being able to mine with them given the magnitude of the group-buy coordination effort.

well, i have emails and all the receipts from what i've sent, so good luck with that trick. Cheesy

1491  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 30, 2013, 05:51:35 AM
Meaning all have been shipped? Or international still need to be sent? Feel free to toss an extra in mine...  Smiley

still international to go. i'll get that done before morning though.

also, i hear ya on the USPS thing. argh.
1492  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 30, 2013, 05:49:28 AM
i got all my USB miners +1 arklan

insert happy, 1 footed, dance here.

also, two things of note:
bfgminer only displays up to 14 devices. Sad

and... despite being VERY careful about packing stuff correctly and double and triple checking... there's... uh... 5 extra. which makes no sense at all, cause they were sent in boxes of 10, which means i either got 535 (impossible) or 540, and am actually MISSING 5. i figure i musta missed someone with an order of 5 or something. obviously, the spreadsheet doesn't reflect this. as far as i can tell i haven't missed anyone. any thoughts are welcome.

Didn't you originally get extras to account for possible defective units?

Ugh :/

It looks like one of my sticks has already died.  She was running okay for awhile, but then just stopped responding.  I've tested her on two different computers, with and without hub, both Linux and Windows.  No joy.

*snip*

Arklan, I'm going to tinker with this stick for a little while longer, but in the meantime let me know how to handle getting a replacement.  I'm sure you're excited to do more shipping, huh!? Wink

Though like previous poster, pasting it into the USPS site comes up nada (even the corrected # you sent in the 2nd email).
Like all shipping services, it takes awhile for their systems to update.  Give it a day.

ugh. Sad if it's truly dead PM me and i'll give ya my address to mail it back to. i've got the spares here, after all.

i've sent out about half the tracking numbers... i'll get the rest in a bit.

I slept from about  7 till noon actually.  :-D at office depot now. All 47 remaining domestic shipments are being leveled as we speak. The internationals i have to go elsewhere. I'll keep you posted.

Also,  the galaxy s4 is a brilliant phone.
:-D

Thank ya sir!!  Grin  soooooo, you're definitely not doing another group buy?? lol

If you could see the colors of my ankle right now, you d know how i feel about that...  :-D

Internationals: due to my ankle i had to call it a day for now. Since i need to use FedEx or the postal service, and refuse to use the postal service, i'm find a 24 hour  kinks and finish tonight.

I have a lot of talking numbers, but my pc is down stairs,  and I'm not hearing down there until my for apps throbbing. I'll get them out to you all after i rest a bit.

1498  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Does anyone have ASICminer USB mining stats? on: May 29, 2013, 01:21:24 PM
i don't have a way to measure their power draw, but the ones i've got are hashing at about 330 mhash on average.
1499  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 29, 2013, 12:39:39 PM
ok guys. that's it. ALL the packing is done. now i just gotta spend a few hours at office depot and find an effcient way to get the international ones dealt with. the post office is just hell here, so i'm trying to avoid that like the plague... if office depot maintains their "we can't do international" then i'll go find a fedex office.

obviously, it being 6:30 am, there's nothing i can do until they open at ten.

It's impressive to get up earlier than the post office!  Smiley

Those folks are insane with their hours.

Thanks for all your work on this.

more accurately, i haven't really slept since i woke up yesterday afternoon. took like a 3 hour nap around 11pm though. after i finish all this, i'm gonna sleep for a week.
