the first box of 200 has arrived. Cheesy link to other post with pictures:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195052.msg2249127#msg2249127

also, uh... how do i get cgminer to check the usb ports? far as i can tell, it's got a com port assigned and the driver is properly installed (c210x uart) but cgminer doesn't seem to notice it's plugged in.
You can use BFGMiner with the standard driver. For now, you need the latest git, and you can use -S all

i'll give it a shot. thanks.
1582  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 23, 2013, 08:18:52 PM
Nice.  I don't need mine tested myself.  Just pack 'em up and ship 'em over here.  Thanks.   Grin

that's the plan.

can you blame me for hooking up MY 5 first though? Cheesy
1583  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMINER Blade Sales on: May 23, 2013, 08:18:11 PM
maybe you guys can give me a hand, those who have the blades up and running:

i just got the first shipment of the AM USB miners. blugged it in, installed the apparently required c210x uart bridge driver and... well, cg miner doesn't see it at all.

THEY'RE HERE!

of course... i can't seem to get it to mine... plugged one in to a usb port on my pc, green LED comes on, attempts and fails to install a driver - CP210x UART bridge. windows then linked me to the download for the driver which is got and installed.

upon running cgminer, it acts no differently then it did yesterday. is there some option i need to use to tell it to go check the USB ports or something?

fyi, the first package of 200 USB miners is on a truck for delivery to me today. Cheesy

i'll post pictures and such in my group buy thread, and here too, if there's desire.

Will you use them as kind of lil'miningfarm ?  Smiley

it's for a group buy, so besides the 5 of my own, i'll just be packing and mailing them out.

besides, 530 (total amount i'm getting) would require... what, 4 or 5 pcs and ...a lot... of hubs? yea. no.

it has arrived in my area, but any trucks would have alreayd headed out by then, so maybe not today. Sad

Yeah, maybe not, though sometimes the trucks leave later.

The final status before delivery would be "With delivery courier".

bing bing bing! we have "with delivery courier!"

also got another package with my postal scale and some 120mm fans to cool these. Cheesy

matter of hours now. i'll post pictures when i have them in hand.

looks like the first package arrived in cincinnati, ohio a few hours ago, if i'm reading the tracking right, which i may not be. "customs status updated" with the location of cincinnati listed.

looks like delivery tomorrow of the first box is likely.

It wouldn't have arrived by then.  That just means that the US Customs agents on the plane have cleared it.  It will show a separate event to indicate arrival.

Cincinnati?

Did the plane overshoot the runway by 1,500 miles?  Or is the DHS headquarters there?

I'm on the east coast US, and all my DHL shipments from Asia arrive via the Cincinnati hub, before going to another DHL facility, and finally to me.

I would expect delivery sometime today (Thursday).

ah, right. that makes sense. it has arrived in my area, but any trucks would have alreayd headed out by then, so maybe not today. Sad

I'll adjust the spreadsheet to reflect that trade, debitme/mdude77.

Also,  bad news on a personal front. I totally sprained my ankle a couple hours ago. ER trip, crutches, etc. I'm fine longterm, but for the next few days I'm laid up. I'll still be able To ship six and the like, just slower.

Sorry!

As to how I did it: walking down a driveway, turned mid stride, and rolled it.  Swelled up like a softball. Yay! Cheesy

Wow, that sucker's movin'!

well, DHL express, you know. we knew they had sent the blades worldwide in under a week, so *shrug* i'm not totally shocked. impressed, but not shocked.

just chiming in - no div here either. i'm in that same transaction.

He never got it back from glbse? I thought glbse gave most people majority of their money back.

What?  Did you even read the last 3 pages of posts?  There is a hangup with the outputs from one transaction being an input for the next and some transactions not getting confirmations causing dividends for this weeks payout to be messed up.  Not a damn thing about GLBSE has been said.

You should chill out dude... Dont worry your dividents for 3 shares will come soon dont sweat it. Stop spamming this forums so stupidly

no need to be rude. we're all so used to this whole div thing going smoothly, when it doesn't it's a little freaky.

I think easily above that; this weeks' dividends could be the highest we see for a while though.

That's what I said last week, but with the USB miner sales (I doubt we will get that this week), there's a decent chance that next week will be good, too.

come on, send the div, i wanna go to bed... (god i hate my complete lack of a sleeping pattern...)

Very nice, thanks for the info!

Hmm, guess I need 10 more sticks. Arklan! To the second round, stat!

dammit it man! let me finish this one first!

speaking of which, i just got the tracking for the second, and final, package. all 530 units are on their way. the first package of 200 has left hong kong, and the second should be just about to enter hong kong from shenzen. obviously, shipping a day later, it's likely it will arrive a day later. with luck i'll have all by friday. note that is a guess on my part, not a provided estimate from dhl.

Up, up and away. How can it go wrong !

Now now, what's up with the sarcasm? Do you want the price to stay stable forever at $120? We are all craving for some movement here. Tongue

honestly? i'd be ok with that.
