Arklan: cool

romerun: I'm quite tired so I though you said "I have 10K+ bitcoins as of now". Woke me up rather.

yea... problem is currently i'm only running 5ghash, upping to 7 shortly... it's a rough summer. Cheesy
1382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin spending on: July 19, 2013, 10:25:05 PM
i buy stuff with bitcoin all the time. sometimes i've had to sell the coin to get cash for what i was after, but bitcoin mining has been my only real income for a while now. steam games, various gift cards, few orders through bitspend when they were around...

about all that would make me use it more would be gift cards for walmart or target or some grocery store. that's about all i buy in cash anymore.

sold. sorry.
1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 13, 2013, 12:21:16 AM
Anyone else buying when 94 gets broken?

your better off buying now there's no question 94 will be broken

anyone else selling once 180 is reached Cool

Some whale killed it.

oh please. that wasn't a whale. we're not even over 100 BTC traded in the last ten minutes.

A person placed a large sell limit order at the bottom of the consolidation. Small fish would have no way of breaking past that, let alone 94 before it came to an end.

oh, walls... right. i wasn't looking at them... ignore me.
1387  Economy / Auctions / Re: selling ONE (1) direct share of ASICMINER! on: July 13, 2013, 12:15:57 AM
sadly, nope. i only have the 1 single share. pitiful, ain't it?

just to pull this back on topic (sorta) for a bit -

when transferring shares, we're still "simply" pming friedcat with the btc address that currently holds them, and the address they're going to, right?

this just leaves me cursing, yet again, that i HAD 5 shares, which i sold before the whole GLBSE thing collapsed... now i just have 1, and not remotely enough btc to buy more.

ARKLAN!!!  I swear... >50% of your posts are complaining about how few BTC/AM shares you hold.  JUST CHANGE that fact.  How many USB miners are you mining with?  With how many I think you still having mining away for you you should have gotten enough btc to buy a share... at least one.  Hell, if you cant buy a full share just buy a TAT share!  If you cant afford a single tat share... just drink a water instead of a coffie/soda next time you get a drink.  BAM enough money to buy 1 TAT share.

tl;dr Arklan, STOP complaining about how little you hold, and DO SOMETHING about it.

fair point. i can afford tat shares... and yea, i'm mining a fair amount - but been using it for other things. so, my own fault of course.
1398  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 01, 2013, 12:45:18 PM
10 BTC would put ASICMiner yield at more relatable levels. the market cap on the other hand might not make sense

for their hardware sales, they will need to get their die process to smaller nanometers

And what makes u think if others can do 65nm or 28nm then AM can't? I believe they can, and they will when the time is right. But their genius lies in knowing that this market is 100% about what you can deliver now, not promise to deliver some point in the future.

Actions speak louder than words. With bitcoin mining, words are almost irrelevant. Which is why we are all happy friedcat says so few  Grin

we alreayd know that AM is working on second generation chips. safe to assume they're a smaller NM.
