6421  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: June 29, 2018, 03:57:28 PM
This week I came across a topic talking about Bitcoin Futures. A lot of the posts (if not all) were something like:
Yes, I am sure Bitcoin will have a great future because the tech is awesome.
I believe in the future of Bitcoin because Bitcoin will go to the moon in 2018 sir.
No one can predict the future of Bitcoin but I am confident it will be well adopted.

I left the house...
6422  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Cryptocurrency application, news, forums, tracking, and tutorials on: June 29, 2018, 03:11:39 PM
The design seems good. I was interested but look like there is no Android or desktop version? Are you planning to make one because the majority uses Android :/ And just another question: Can we add our own sources (RSS, Twitter, forums,...) or is it selected by the dev.? Would be nice if the users can do this
6423  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin Is a SCAM on: June 28, 2018, 04:48:35 PM
I also use Livecoin without any problem. But every time I log in they inform me that by their politic they need some of my private info, well, for now I just press 'skip' and move on, so, is it really necessary to participate in their KYC politic or not?

I am using it for months and never I had to complete any KYC verification. There is a message displayed when you log in to ask to enable 2FA authentification but it's not a requirement, nothing more

@OP
Did you make a change in your account information? Because if yes then cash withdrawals are unavailable for 48 hours.
6424  Other / Meta / Re: Does Google re-index edited threads? on: June 28, 2018, 03:53:01 PM
Yes, Google bots will index the change with no problem, they index what they read. Usually, forums discussions are crawled more often than websites. You can ping the URL if you want but pretty useless considering it's a forum.
6425  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pirate Bay warning: internet provider forced to hand over names on: June 28, 2018, 03:40:53 PM
It will have no effect on crypto dark web markets. It's not the first country to do this. Mine is doing it for years with all ISP. It's not a "first catch first punishment" You need to go evil on it. In my country the first time you get a warning (you receive a letter) the second time you receive another letter, the third time they shut down your internet connection for 3 months, and maybe something like 150$ to pay. People who are fans of downloading copyrighted material are already using other methods since.
6426  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] B MONEY PREPAID MASTERCARD . MOBILE APP . FIAT & CRYPTOCURRENCIES . on: June 28, 2018, 02:52:39 PM
Good to see another one service to provide a card. I have few questions if you don't mind. No terms and Conditions and privacy policy? What is the bank you're working with? And will BMoney support SEPA transfers?
6427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin upto 20,000$ December 2018 on: June 28, 2018, 10:59:22 AM
You already opened a topic with the title "Bitcoin up to $10,000..."
You add nothing else to motivate a discussion. Are you planning to make several topics like "Bitcoin up to $10.000 $20,000 $30,000 $40,000...
Your topics are so crappy. Please refrain from creating such useless topics for the good of the community because you're wasting our time
6428  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Facebook buy crypto exchange on: June 28, 2018, 10:33:31 AM
It is just a rumor and nothing has been confirmed by both parties Facebook and Coinbase. It started because Zuckerberg posted on Facebook that he is interested in decentralized currencies 6-7 months ago and on another side, Mr Armstrong said in a video 3 months ago he would like to reach a billion customer. Since Facebook has 2 billion, people started to suggest that it will buy Coinbase
6429  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: June 28, 2018, 09:51:56 AM
Thanks for the suggestion, yes it's a list I planned to maintain and I hadn't thought of that and I think you're right. I will add a list of scam services so. Because yeah it can help the other members to avoid using it. Will do it today or tomorrow...
6430  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: June 27, 2018, 09:10:04 PM
What about to rank them? I mean to make it easy for customers to make a choice with some factors like how much year is the mixer active and etc...
Because as you see, bitmixcoin turned into scam, as I remember they weren't in your list but if they were between serious mixers, it would be unfair.
I think it's better to include how much year they are active in mixing since ranking them by our choice would cause a lot of issues.

The list isn't ranked by my choice, it's random. I think it's useless to add since how many time the service is online because it doesn't make it more trustworthy than a young Bitcoin mixer. And I could give a concrete example without a problem.
BitMixcoin was on the list but when @TryNinja sent me a message with details to tell me that the site had turned into a scam I removed it directly the next day

6432  Other / Meta / Re: Limited action of Newbie and Jr.Member on: June 27, 2018, 05:28:41 PM
Since you posted it once already why open a thread to post it twice....
6433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Watch Tone Vays desperately trying to keep the price going down on: June 27, 2018, 05:18:26 PM
Nobody is making the correlation with Bitcoin Futures or is it just me? Because I believe there is something between the end of the Bitcoin Futures coming at the end of the contracts. By the way, any old Bitcoin enthusiast remember the 2013 period when we got the almost exact same situation with a big big drop? Then it came back with no problem but it took time.
I think for 2018 a ATH is out of the possibility now but maybe during the next year
6434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology involvements in Top companies on: June 27, 2018, 04:55:07 PM
It seems to me that large companies just want to be more visible, this is one of the tricks of marketing - PR, they create the appearance that keep pace with the times.

LOL you should see how many millions each of these firms are spending just to make research about the blockchain technology, add to this how many million they are spending to implement the technology to their system. Then come back here to tell us where is the trick
6435  Economy / Economics / Re: [Survey] Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency? on: June 27, 2018, 04:11:06 PM
Totally not surprised about the low number of people owning any crypto. In most cases people have only invested in crypto with a few hundred bucks, likely just to test and play around.

Imagine what happens when they go big on crypto and start converting a certain part of their savings to Bitcoin as a long term store of value tool. Everyone starts with alts and ends up with Bitcoin in their portfolio.

On the other hand, we shouldn't really pay too much attention to these surveys since they can be answered just for the sake of answering or to mess it up. Fact is that the price is and stays a better measuring tool.

I would say the number isn't bad, personally, I wasn't looking to see something like 20-25%. About the survey itself, it has been done by IPSOS in the name of ING Bank, this type of agency is pretty strict with their surveys (Very hard to reply bogus replies and it's checked 1 by 1).
I think the result is giving a good overview of the state how cryptocurrency market is seen.
6436  Economy / Economics / Re: The question about crypto taxation no one wants to ask on: June 27, 2018, 04:00:58 PM
Taxes increase because the government doesn't stop to borrow money, and it's done with an outrageous rate return. Most increased taxes are used to pay the interests and it's still not enough, then the government keeps to borrow money and it's like a circle.
With increased taxes, the purchasing power declines because the wages don't increase at the same level. To reduce the costs of families/govt. it is spending less on education, etc still the money has to come from somewhere for the families. It's the result of some social and politic wrongly managed (I don't say I can do better)
6437  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy going up and up everyday on: June 27, 2018, 11:29:01 AM
Is economy going up every day? Europe is in trouble, Italy is in agony and Europe won't have money to save the country like it happened with Greece. Most experts are seeing several red flags announcing a crash in Wall Street. But yeah, the economy is going up let's wait when a population will be limited to use the ATM machines 2 times per week with 50€ max.
6438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook reversing bitcoin and crypto ban - just going to be more responsible on: June 27, 2018, 11:01:18 AM
It's not going to change anything on the price, It will just give another source of advertisements for the companies but thinking it will boost the price is just fancy. Its' not like if HSBC, BOA and JPS Morgan decided to accept Bitcoin deposits.

so who is going to advertise?

i can't remember seeing any ad anywhere that wasn't an ICO back in the day. i guess what you have left is services like exchanges but most of them have little need to advertise. i'm curious to see what pops up.

Some local services and startups were doing great with Facebook ads, but yeah of course the established don't need it
6439  Other / Meta / Re: Total disorder in the french forum Looking to see something done definitely. on: June 26, 2018, 08:25:11 PM
The guys know there is no moderation in the french forum so now it becomes a standard to post using a translator and getting paid to copy paste what google says.

This part is not true, some DTs are helping us : To all BMs, here is a list of fake French translators - help us tag them !

Can another moderator do something for this kind of topics: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3160886.120;topicseen which are spaming with bots (with automated translators) ?

I have noticed two others topics of this kind :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3502515.0;all
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3679153.0;all (I tried to communicate by linking a video that has no connection with the token, I only got a banal answer)
Of course, I reported these 3 topics, but (of course) no action.

Help us tag them there : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4328297.msg40969095#msg40969095

Then we post on the link above ("To all BMs..."), also please don't forget to archive their post before tag them.

DT members don't moderate anything. They help by tagging them but the trash is still not modearted.
6440  Other / Meta / Re: Total disorder in the french forum Looking to see something done definitely. on: June 26, 2018, 07:42:37 PM
That's what I said some time ago. Most of the former members left the French forum gradually when they saw what it had become, a garbage can. You won't see them anymore because they're gone once for good in the French crypto forum (don't remember the name). It means even if a new moderator is added they won't come back. It's sad since we had great members and nice discussions. It's too late now for them. There are maybe only 10 members left in the french forum now, all left, and all others are bots or shitposters using a translator to post comments we can't even understand

The guys know there is no moderation in the french forum so now it becomes a standard to post using a translator and getting paid to copy paste what google says.
I once reported all the shit posts, reading the discussion 1 by 1, nothing has been moderated and I wasted my time
