6481  Economy / Reputation / Re: Automated/Google translation (Portuguese) on: June 21, 2018, 05:34:25 PM
@ismart1
Maybe the guy has a lot of "carrapatos". It scratches him so much, he can't translate properly. You should get him a carrapatos shampoo.
Perhaps it will fix his problem. He can't scratch himself and translate at the same time.
Automated translation in Portuguese must be horrible to read
6482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin to invest? on: June 21, 2018, 05:18:55 PM
I only use Bitcoin and Zencash currently and I don't plan to add another coin to my list because it takes me too much time.
It's not to invest because I use both as they are: a currency ad they are both good for my needs. But I do have like a saving account where I am holding some BTC and ZEN for the cold days. But if you're look to "invest" both are good especially zencash which will grow at a bigger % than BTC
6483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Today fee of bitcoin transactions is increased on: June 21, 2018, 04:11:22 PM
what happended today, I sent 1 BTC into another wallet, and it took 2.5 USD. so high

$2.5 fee is too much for sending ~$7000$ ? Shocked It's less than 0.04%
Go to Paypal to receive $7000 and you will feel the pain when you will see how much you're charged to receive the same amount. And don't forget to consider that the sender would also pay a fee to seed to you
6484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: June 21, 2018, 03:52:29 PM
I will check about smartmixer to be sure because I see the users who complained are users with 2 posts or coming back after almost 5 years of inactivity in the topic link you posted.

As for Pay shield I haven't heard lately so I don't know but I will search to see how it's going and remove it it if needed

Thanks guys
6485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan Files Patent for Blockchain-Powered Payments on: June 21, 2018, 03:29:22 PM
Now world economy is worth some $50,000,000,000,000. Never heard of $10 billion or $100 billion got hacked from banks (present technology)   Huh

Why the need for blockchain ??

The blockchain technology can drastically reduce the costs for the banks (in million $ per year per bank) it improves their security. You may have never heard about a bank hacked, but for example, the American banks are targeted daily with DDOS et al, you just don't see it in the news. Take a look at what happened to SWIFT as well. We can imagine using the blockchain to make a bank transfer from SEPA to SWIFT and vice versa. We can also think about the uses of smart contracts.
The bank of America own over 50 blockchain related patents so there are surely some uses to do with it.
6486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZenCash: Private, Secure, Resilient CryptoCurrency with zk-SNARKs on: June 21, 2018, 03:19:08 PM
Angie is awesome and doing a great job in the Zencash community. I am glad youtube has the subtitles Cheesy
She is right when she says how it's important for the team to spread the word and explain the advantages some countries can have while using the Zen platform. We can't expect to see people understand cryptos without learning something, it's a matter of education
6487  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC documents detail scores of fraud allegations against Coinbase on: June 21, 2018, 01:15:13 PM
It is the first time that I hear complaints about Coinbase. I don't want to question the validity of these reports, but this does not mean fraud or scam.
Also, I do not know why you are linking between regulations and these complaints ?. "Everything has its pros and cons."
I do not know how many transactions performed by Coinbase, but perhaps 134 pages is a small number compared to the entire system.

Seriously? There are thousands of complaints about Coinbase and you can find a lot here on the forum. It's not something new. Coinbase is famous for having one of the worst customers support in the crypto exchanges. And it's like this before the company becomes regulated.
I am not surprised if the authorities are starting to look closely about the complaints
6488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still think it can hit 20k !! be optimistic on: June 21, 2018, 12:35:26 PM
Very well say @1Referee

Multiple times I said people should stop to consider Bitcoin as their investment because it isn't. Satoshi didn't create it to make people rich, it isn't the ideology he had. This is also a reason we see govt. institutions and banks not so welcoming Bitcoin. Imagine without this, Bitcoin would be a  lot more accepted worldwide (and why not the bank itself). People slow down the Bitcoin adoption by considering it as an asset to speculate on.
The same thing for people saying again and again Bitcoin is dead, Bitcoin is in agony and so on. For example look at all the posts similar here on the forum. What the newbies interested in cryptos read all the negative posts, they just turn away from Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a currency and should be used as it.
6489  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Wanted] Paint removal on Adult pics - Pay per pixel with LN? on: June 21, 2018, 12:16:09 PM
I don't know who is crazy enough to pay to remove a pixel just to see something that can be found all over the net for free It's for perverts
Even if it's too see someone famous if she/he agree to show her/his ass I guess it's already shown somewhere on the www
The idea is good to re-introduce micro payments with BTC
6490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch 20K USD end of 2018. What you think ? on: June 21, 2018, 11:19:58 AM
It's technically possible because it happened once so why not twice. But even if I hope I doubt it will happen in 2018. I don't see something positive for 2 or 3 months now and people are less enthusiast toward Bitcoin. The hype faded in January. You can notice it if you check the stats from google trends. And honestly, I don't see some really good news about  Bitcoin :/
6491  Economy / Economics / Re: Money laundering tools on: June 21, 2018, 10:53:33 AM
bitcoin has been widely abused by people who commit crimes, they can easily take advantage of this technology. most people who do not know about bitcoin, they rate the bitcoin from the negative side only without knowing the actual function of bitcoin. but if they are able to learn about this technology more deeply, bitcoin is created by scientists or by someone who aims to facilitate all transactions from anywhere without spending a considerable cost

Fiats have been "abused" as well and more than Bitcoin. Less than 1% of the Bitcoin transactions are used for illegal activities. How much just for the US dollar? Just for the drugs activities, the Americans spend over  $100 billion per year. https://www.whitehouse.gov/ondcp/research-and-data/estimation-drug-expenditures-consumption-supply
This is just for drugs and this just for one country, if you consider human trafficking, and so on you could be surprised how the amount of bitcoins spend for illegal activities is ridiculous compared to fiats
6492  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trying to remember a website name on: June 21, 2018, 09:49:36 AM
@BitMaxz
Thanks, it's too many complaints for me to try the service. I was ready to use as a last choice but I now prefer to avoid the site after reading the reviews. 7% is better than nothing yes, it's just that sometimes I am greedy.

@mjglqw
None of them are dealing with blockchain payments I think, but I will check it.

@krishnapramod
Thanks dude, I didn't know SpicePay and it seems very good and cheap. I think I will try this one I just need to read their AML/KYC policies

@profdetected
This one doesn't have a paypal option but SEPA. Better to use an exchange for cheaper fees (kraken is just 9 cents per SEPA transfer)

@TeslaWatt.com
I asked about a site like Bitpay and you tell me Bitpay?

Thanks guys
6493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether is backed by USD!!! on: June 21, 2018, 08:56:08 AM
Everybody knows Tether is backed but the US Dollar. This isn't the main problem with it. The problem do they really have the same amount of dollars than the number of tether? Displaying the stats on their site is not a proof. People shouldn't believe anything like this. We need to see an undeniable proof that they really have all the funds
6494  Economy / Economics / Re: STOP IMMO! Vitalik Buterin vs Rothschilds cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2018, 09:25:40 PM
Vitalik was saying here in the forum the NSA created Bitcoin, I remember reading an email from the NSA old from 1996, it was already introducing the cryptocurrency. If Rothschilds family is behind Bitcoin to create a "world currency" then I am glad because I know I will be part of the Elite and sit at the Bilderberg meetings for free food, free hostel, and big orgy. Grin
6495  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trying to remember a website name on: June 20, 2018, 09:05:07 PM
No problem.
Bank transfer fee is 0€ for SEPA transfer and  40 DKK (Denmark?) for international bank transfer, and Paypal is 7% fee. Look like a good solution for people who own a website and want to accept cryptos but need to use Paypal at the end. The only thing is the 7% I find it a little expensive, so I think twice about using the service.
6496  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Coinbase has just announced that they are going to support ERC-20 assets on: June 20, 2018, 08:50:03 PM
I start to think Coinbase is funny. The companie has firstly the arrogance to use the name COINBASE but it's turning in a christmas tree with more altcoin than bitcoin solutions. I remember when they said Bitcoin is the only one good we won't consider another coin. Now they are adding a bunch if ERC20? How funny it is
6497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC is under $7K? on: June 20, 2018, 08:30:51 PM
We got too much hype about Bitcoin in Q4 2017, it is what sent Bitcoin to the roof. It happened based on the feelings mainly. It doesn't mean it should not happen, it shall but not so fast. People are used to think bitcoin shall be 20,000$ absolutely and it is totally wrong.
Recently the curve seems longer than usual, which could mean it will take a while to see the price up again (just my 2 cents)
6498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DECENTRALIZED OR CENTRALIZED? on: June 20, 2018, 08:12:12 PM
Bitcoin will lose it uniqueness if it allows it to be centralized and controlled by government. It is superior currency due to its nature of decentralize and anonymous transaction and I don't think that should be altered.

Bitcoin is not anonymous and governments can't control Bitcoin unless they hijack the blockchain which is impossible. And in terms of decentralization Bitcoin is less and less decentralized. Zencash is leading the crypto industry with decentralization.
I hope in 2018 you will understand that Bitcoin is not anonymous dude.
6499  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: June 20, 2018, 07:30:29 PM
Removed Bitmixcoin from the list. Thanks for the update @TryNinja, and thanks too to @LoyceV and @Vod.
For those who have been scammed, I am sorry, you are welcome to use Chipmixer whenever you want Cheesy No craps
Real mixing service, true anonymity
6500  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trying to remember a website name on: June 20, 2018, 06:33:16 PM
Thanks, but that isn't what I was looking. As the op, it's a website similar to Bitpay to allow merchants to accept payments in bitcoins and it gets converted to fiat automatically, so sellers won't be afraid to the volatility of the price.

I finally managed to remember the website name which is Coinify
