6721  Other / Meta / This guy (or bot) is so crappy on: April 16, 2018, 09:11:28 PM
About 100 posts in less than 24H. Roll Eyes
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1983673;sa=showPosts;start=0

What I don't get is all the posts have a letter + numbers at the end of each of them ('D154, D155, D156...)
Sometimes you can find a batch of 20 posts with "Go Green " instead of Dxxx

Do you know or remember about Hop-o'-My-Thumb Perhaps he is using his strategy to remember where he posted since he is posting so much...

Quote
The parents are no longer able to support their children and intend to abandon them. Hop-o'-My-Thumb, overhearing his parents, plans ahead and collects small white pebbles from a river. He uses the stones to mark a trail that enables him to successfully lead his brothers back home. However, the second time round, he uses breadcrumbs instead, which the birds eat up.

Seriously, close the faucet for this bot

Thanks dude. Yes, I can use PHP, so basically I create the file and just copy paste any API code inside and save? It's easy so, my only problem then is how to display it? is it what am I supposed to use on a page then?
https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+call+a+php+function&oq=how+to+call+a+php+function&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.10327j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

through an iframe It didn't work but I think now I was using the URL and not an API code lol

6728  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tradesatoshi is a scam ? on: April 14, 2018, 08:00:51 PM
No, it's not a scam. I used the site a few times already. Only once I had a problem with the withdrawal page but that was just because of a technical problem for a short period of time.
I contacted them and got a reply in a decent timing, and they helped me to resolve my issue.
As you didn't explain what was your problem it isn't easy to help you, but remember to read the news from time to time, often we get our answer on twitter, news page, etc

6729  Other / Meta / Re: Please create Sticky thread to report copy/pasting and plagiarism. on: April 14, 2018, 06:28:36 PM
Exactly. You just need to click the report button and fill the box "copy pasted from =>url"
It 's the most efficient way for the moderators to notice you and saving your time as well.

I posted recently on the topic from Loyce because
1)we don't have any moderation in the French section
2) the guy was freely scamming people but again as said no mod

...but I knew posting on the topic, a Mod from the English section would kick the guy out asap
6730  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Terminal.Global - Building the 'Bloomberg' of Crypto on: April 13, 2018, 03:27:15 PM
So basically Terminal.Global is for crypto-currencies in the same way TrivaGo is for booking hotels. If I understand the concept correctly, you create a curated list of exchangers from different exchanges ? That's very innovate!
Can we also trade on your platform or we would be redirected to the respective websites ?
Not really. Trivago is specialized for hotels search/comparisons (right?) The Terminal.global platform is like an all in 1 solution. You get everything in the same dashboard: Analytics, stats, data, news, real-time market/quote, every other thing that can be aggregated across a secure network..
Like Bloomberg Terminal, I think Reuters too has one.

After thinking twice about the project, I wonder why nobody has thought about making a terminal for cryptos
6731  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any Wallets offering Virtual Card without Verification? on: April 13, 2018, 02:11:52 PM
I really doubt you will find any. It was already hard to find before the Visa crackdown but now it's worst and I think such service doesn' exist anymore (the only place would be on the deepweb with who know what method used) it's like asking to open a bank account with no ID paper.

6733  Economy / Speculation / Re: BULL RUN STARTING ON BITCOIN? End of Bear Market? on: April 12, 2018, 10:20:18 PM
Do you want to know what I was thinking about? If the price comes back to $10k suddenly then I say Bitcoin is funny. If the price comes back to $20k within few days then I say it's an inside job.
Btw, nobody has any idea what is happening today? I didn't read any important news that could explain

6734  Economy / Economics / Re: Will regulating cryptomarkets increase or decrease trading volumes? on: April 12, 2018, 09:18:20 PM
@dothebeats @exstasie @leonair @Cryptoman55227

I said it because, cryptocurrencies (and Bitcoin specifically) were/was created to avoid any regulation from government and the current banking system. Not to create a store of value, a speculative asset or a currency, but still to be controlled by governments/banks.

If you look at who were the first people to take part in the project they are all part of the cypherpunk and anarchist movement, these are the real origins of Bitcoin. Disturb the governments and banks for a political and a social change (without the need for a riot, war, etc...)
Accepting regulations with cryptos is like finally to admit that the dream for a currency outside the traditional system is definitely not possible. The real crypto dream is destroyed. If today you accept regulations, in 5 years you will accept to see cryptos issued by banks only, because you think it's better, safer, or any other reason...

So then the privacy/cryptography/anarchist/true cryptos advocates/average user not considering crypto as a speculative asset (ie: someone more interested in the uses case than the money you can make from it) well, the real bitcoiners you know, don't really accept to see cryptos regulated and may lose faith in the purpose. You can check yourself, you rarely find a cryptographer advocate here. As I said the real crypto dream is destroyed.

Cryptocurrencies and cryptography are all about privacy-enhancing technologies. Where is your privacy if institutions, banks, and governments can still see what you're doing with your money? There isn't any. You can call it cryptos, pokemons, or rainbows if no privacy then it's not really useful.

Cryptos don't help to prevent illicit activities,(The same way debit card technology failed to prevent it) consider what is now becoming popular "privacycoins" and the demand will increase a lot. Just to tell you Monero is a baby compared to some technologies used in privacycoins.

This was the reason I posted "accepting to be regulated may lose the credibility of any project."
Imagine a privacycoin telling we want to be regulated! People will watch like this => (0.o)

I also said the opposite while saying it can help and yes I do admit this is inconsistent. Unfortunately, we read too many times in the news which knew how to talk badly about Bitcoin on every occasion. What was the mainstream opinion? Oh, Bitcoin is wrong, it's a criminal currency.
Getting some regulations is like getting an approval from the government and so maybe change the mind of people and so more people adopting crypto. But what regulations are acceptable or not is something difficult to talk about.

Ah, see yourself and compare with fiats. With all the regulations we have (such as limit withdraw weekly, explanation needed when you need 1500$, this, that and again this) Does it help to prevent frauds and other criminal activities? No there are more frauds than ever. As you know, in the old time money didn't exist, no coin, no card, no bank, people used to trade only. I need 5 apples, you need 5 tomatoes, you then exchange 2 tomatoes for 2 potatoes etc. Then sugar was the currency then gold... During this time, fraud existed. So do we need to regulate apples, tomatoes, and underwear?...
6735  Other / Meta / Re: Mod, please check new plagiarism: Reporting copy/pasting, please permban on: April 12, 2018, 06:32:34 PM
Any Mod to help us (since the French forum doesn't have any moderation)

Basically, the guy is spamming the news section and try to sell us a 17$ book you will make 2.000.000$ then
He bumps his topic several times with copy-pasted content, we do report it, but nothing is done, the French mod doesn't care

kick out this cunt once for good

6739  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: April 12, 2018, 10:39:26 AM
Just to be clear:
I don't accept any money to list your service. It's free. I am not looking to make money with, I am just a member participating in the forum and sharing a list I believe can save the time for other. nothing more...

Some PM asking for a price but I repeat I don't accept any money

SmartMix recently changed the fee structure and decreased it by 50%. Now the fees are 0.5% plus 0.0001 BTC it's one of the cheapest with some others on the list.
Any other service to add is welcome, do you know any not listed in the OP?
Thank you

GhostMixer has been added to the list

zero task done to clean the forum. So while you repeat we shall report, report and report, now you can understand why users are tired to report a post knowing nothing is done and most of the active users left the forum already btw

the current moderator is useless and hasn't any interest in the French community we all agree, and to say all hate him with this situation, and he is not welcome anymore among us. yes it hurts but I say the truth
