6361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best exchange ? on: July 06, 2018, 02:57:39 PM
Hello i am newbie here and i am newly trader can someone give some information which exchange is the best for buying altcoins ?

The question has been asked over 50 times here. Before you say you didn't know because you're newbie I am going to tell you you should search before or use the "search" feature in the menu. As I say it has been asked a lot of times and so you're answer is surely in  the existing topics, where you can continue the discussion if you have still something to say/ask.

Within 10 seconds I found 2 topics asking the same thing as your.

If I can find, you can surely too
6362  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos you don't help us, so now close the french board on: July 06, 2018, 02:41:21 PM
I went to your local board, at the bitcoin discussion and all topics were in French there.
Didn't find a single topic in Chinesein this board

Spam is a problem of the forum. Go to the bitcoin discussion board in the main forum. It's 90% spam.
At altcoins discussion it's 100% spam.

Your local board looks ok to me. Everything is in French as it should be. I can't evaluate what they are saying, but I know it's 90% trash as most the forum.

Can you link a board with real problems?

And by doing a topic like this, theymos may be inclined not to help asap...

Many users are using the French language without knowing the grammar/vocabulary, as a French we can't really understand what they are trying to say. They're not francophone. Some others are purely using google translate.
But I am giving a few examples of what you can find: How to choose and buy a VPN in the Bitcoin dev. section, Topics about Ripple in the Bitcoin discussion, Airdrop in the Beginner to Bitcoin, introduction members in the News section, spam with referal links about faucets website, scam attempt with users trying to sell a $15 book (you're supposed to make 2 million euros with it) and posting affiliate link with a CPA campaign and so on.... You get the idea now. I am not going to post some links but I can easily find 50 within 10 minutes if needed
6363  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Approaches 9k! on: July 06, 2018, 12:37:31 PM
now no longer because now the bitcoin price is around $ 6500 and I think it takes quite a long time to reach $ 9k.

I have a news for you. The topic is already 2-3 months old and not relevant today. I mean you're late. You should check the date of the topics to avoid bumping an old topic which is supposed to be dead.

The idea itself is looking good however when you mention

Introductory cryptocurrency investing

It's already misleading people. Cryptocurrencies are not supposed to be an investment and a speculative asset. This is not the ideology of the cryptocurrency. Otherwise, I should be super rich already.
If you're specifically referring to ICOs, then it should not be called cryptocurrency most of the time. A lot of them don't have any product, or don't use anything using the cryptography
6365  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Feedbacks for a Crypto Accounting & Analytics solution on: July 06, 2018, 11:48:26 AM
Thanks @LeGaulois for your comments !
Yes, the API keys are "read-only" as for now, we do data analysis. We are thinking about adding trading directly on the platform but it requires a very high level of security

It's looking good. While I visited your project firstly, I saw you're targeting traders. I was thinking about why not doing similar for entrepreneurs?
Reporting the sales with the out and in, VAT etc... Because it can be a real pain when it's the time of accounting. Even for miners. (But it will make a different product)
6366  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Liqui.io hacked???? on: July 06, 2018, 08:28:14 AM
It's probably a bug because if the site was compromised the hacker(s) wouldn't set up wrong transactions or convert in another coin. Usually, hackers steal the coins and move on, there is nothing useful to them to make the mess into the website.
It's possible too that they're not yet able to resolve the problem
6367  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Feedbacks for a Crypto Accounting & Analytics solution on: July 05, 2018, 09:31:49 PM
Nice idea, the Tresor Public will thank you for giving the solution to traders to get accurate taxes report  Cheesy
Just a question, it works with API in "read-only" mode, right? It would nice to be able to place orders and few markets data
6368  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: July 05, 2018, 07:05:10 PM
Really? What are they using there so, SWIFT? I know Montenegro has adopted the euro unilaterally without the European Union or the Euro Zone agreement or something like that. The country can't even print money, there is no euro sealed Montenegro
6369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Travel Booking Giant Expedia Has Quietly Removed Bitcoin Payment - Thoughts? on: July 05, 2018, 06:19:08 PM
Yep, I confirm Expedia removed Bitcoin because Coinbase decided to remove the merchant tools to focus on Coinbase commerce. Expedia is not the only one, CheapAir removed Coinbase and changed it for Bitpay. Maybe Expedia will follow, it takes more time than CheapAir since both companies aren't the same size.
The volatility or the "poor performance" of Bitcoin has nothing to do. Most companies/merchants convert the bitcoins to fiat automatically, only 15% keep it to bitcoin but it's because these merchants are Bitcoin enthusiast or betting on the market price
6370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if Satoshi came back suddenly on: July 05, 2018, 03:32:44 PM
Of course, it would be better if Satoshi doesn't come back, it keeps something magical about the Bitcoin story. It's better to let the myth of the Bitcoin creator and also give a shot to the conspiracy theories. But at the same time, it would be fun, the crypto world is like a soap opera. I can imagine the mainstream media publishing all kind of articles if he returns. I wonder which Bitcoin is would support, the original or Bitcoin Core.
6371  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos you don't help us, so now close the french board on: July 05, 2018, 11:41:11 AM
I could but I shouldn't have to report the same thing twice to be seen. Personally, I did report the first two pages of each section, if I'm not mistaken. If he doesn't want to moderate then there is nothing we can do. The French forum is currently unbearable and unusable. I even remember a comment that was moderated by... a moderator from another section
6372  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos you don't help us, so now close the french board on: July 05, 2018, 10:14:24 AM
We reported maybe 300 posts since, still, almost nothing has been moderated.
Mods are not really paid, they aren't staff they are volunteers
6373  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion]Solving the spam problem with a "Report Score" for bad rapports. on: July 05, 2018, 09:57:37 AM
I got between 5 and 10 posts deleted since I am a member (it wasn't some shit posts btw,I'm not angry at all. I think mods are just jealous because I am too cute  Grin Cheesy ).
By following your example I could have been banned since Sad I am not bragging but I don't think I am a boring member who deserve to be fired
6374  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [Guide] Hardware wallets - which one is a good choice? on: July 05, 2018, 09:42:55 AM
The Ledger Blue may become a collector in some years. There are few of them that I have never heard of. Bitvault doesn't have a password, instead, it uses biometric and fingerprint. I wonder why the manufacturers don't sell houses cases like for the cell phones.
6375  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Warning for Ledger Nano S users / buyers on: July 05, 2018, 09:16:08 AM
@RGBKey
Excuse me but where did you see the desktop application would be ready this month? By the way, people should be careful while using it the first weeks, who knows if it will have some bugs here and there. I personally will let others test it, once I am sure the app is free from bugs I will start to use it Grin

Thanks for sharing,  I am just about to buy myself some of those Ledgers, because I've heard that this is the most secure way to store your cryptocurrency, now I would be extremely careful and aware.

If you had read the comments you wouldn't have this kind of post. See the post #23 above
6376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to the Moon! on: July 05, 2018, 08:41:00 AM
Your analysis is totally useless until you give us some arguments. You can't say such without explaining us why you think so. Me too I can say Bitcoin price will be $37,491  by Sunday. Then will you believe me? Because the price recovered about $600 doesn't mean we 're going to see the ATH to $20,000. $600 is nothing for the Bitcoin market
6377  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Amazon stock a good buy? on: July 04, 2018, 09:14:33 PM
I wouldn't invest in any stock with the potential major crisis coming soon. It could be more interesting when the crisis will be turned ON. All investors are waiting to see China.
What has been trending for a while now, is the crowdsourcing. I saw a lot of projects coming to their goal with it. Even some with weird ideas.
I would rather help and invest a very small company to see the light rather than Amazon cheating the taxes of countries
6378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if Satoshi came back suddenly on: July 04, 2018, 09:04:12 PM
He may be interested to participate in bounties/airdrop Cheesy Cheesy
6379  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos you don't help us, so now close the french board on: July 04, 2018, 08:31:15 PM
The French board becomes abandoned since a while because there is no moderation in. Most users left because of this and the ones still here are all asking something done. Most users now are bots or the guys posting ANN topics with google translate, and they use their alt accounts to reply to themselves. You can't even guess what they want to say with their horrible French. An 8 years kid writes better.
It can be too late to add a moderator since it's empty. it's sad, but it's the truth.
6380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What would happen if Satoshi came back suddenly on: July 04, 2018, 07:27:45 PM
Imagine one day, we see Satoshi connect to the forum and open a topic to say Hello I'm back. And that he gives us irrefutable proof that it is him. What would happen?

Would satoshi go to work for Blockstream?
Would Roger Ver start crying like a child and return to his cave?
All the media will talk about it and so with the snowball effect, the Bitcoin would go not to the moon but to another galaxy?
Do you think he will continue the Bitcoin project, or lets others taking care of it?

I hope he'll at least give me a bitcoin t-shirt with his autograph, I'll put it next to Messi's.
He will get 1 Merit point from me, I swear
