Top... based on what? You must be joking?
There is/are one/some listed in your post that does/do nothing else than to help to make the mess in the forum. They don't care about the quality. They only know to post "accepted update your signature", to make google docs and add usernames and doing some maths at the end.
They accept spammer/shitposters and they're fine with it

Let us assume that I was joking. As you said they were doing some maths and updating sheets were right. But on what basis you are saying that they were accepting spammers? They have enough mature to identify scammers and lot of peoples were rejected for not providing good quality posts.

Dude, they don't care there is even one on your list famous for not taking care of the posters activity. Most people know it, go to the Meta section to ask if you want. And when you read the forum it's clear they don't care.
Why do you think some people are fighting these spammers and some complaints about them

6463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀What do you think about the new exchange? on: June 24, 2018, 06:43:18 PM
Greetings
How do you feel about the appearance of a new crypto-exchange, which for you is an indicator of confidence in it. What tools are necessary for you, what is not present on others. Is it important for you to have a centralized or decentralized exchange? And what is the most convenient exchange for you now?
Thank you in advance for your response.
Communication, online presence, security are few things making an exchange looking reliable. For the tools, I would like to see some news from the market displayed on the trading dashboard (something like an embedded widget RSS) aggregating search engines and feelings from social networks (similar to Microsoft flow) and secondly a feature to receive an email alert (for example once the order is complete, once a coin hits xxx$,...) and finally, anything good to automate.

Very helpful answer, thank you very much! What do you think about online chat for traders, is there a need for it?

You're welcome.
The few times I saw an online chat on an exchange it was active with multiple people, so I guess people are interested to participate talking with traders. Something good to think is why not something like "a social network"? Where traders have their own wall and can connect and interact with other traders. There are surely a few open source projects to use as a base to build it.
6464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason to stay in this bear market. on: June 24, 2018, 05:06:07 PM
Lack of patience and misconception is pushing people to take the wrong decisions. If they wonder if they should sell or wait mean the industry is not for them. And the ones who stay in are showing how they are confident in the future. Don't forget the same situation happened before but just at a different level, other than that there is no difference.

6466  Economy / Economics / Re: Cardano Co-Founder: Wall Street Will Bring ‘Tens of Trillions of Dollars’ to Cry on: June 24, 2018, 04:00:45 PM
Claiming the crypto community is building a new world is a bit exaggerating if I can say. An economic opportunity to re-think the banking system at the best yes, but a new world?
Even if the blockchain is a disruptive technology it doesn't mean it will change our world and it doesn't mean it will be done via the crypto currency
Poverty will still exist, the same mafia will rule, the same people will bank on wars, etc...

Would some of you mind copying and pasting the articles you link to in their entirety? I know a lot of people dislike clicking on links and won't bother reading.

Here is the original article from Cointelegraph (the original source of the article)

Quote
Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of altcoin Cardano (ADA), tweeted June 20 that the entry of Wall Street into the crypto sector will bring in “tens of trillions of dollars:”

https://twitter.com/IOHK_Charles/status/1009689496185724929

Cardano, which is currently ranked 8th on Coinmarketcap, has a market cap of around $3.5 billion. Charles Hoskinson was also one of the founding members of Ethereum (ETH), crypto startup Invictus Innovations, and crypto tech company IOHK.

When asked by a commentator what exactly the crypto community is building, Hoskinson answered “an entirely new world:”

https://twitter.com/IOHK_Charles/status/1009701757486878720

The intersection of cryptocurrency and Wall Street has been welcomed by those who also see a potential influx in capital. In mid-May, cryptocurrency wallet and exchange Coinbase released a new suite of products designed to attract institutional investors by relieving security and regulatory compliance concerns. Speaking about the product release, the VP of Coinbase referred to “$10 billion” of Wall Street money that now had the potential to enter the market.

The “trillion” value has also been bandied around before, as Dan Morehead, CEO of $1 billion crypto hedge fund Pantera Capital said in April that a $40 trillion crypto market is possible, in part due to Wall Street’s increasing interest in clearing crypto trades.
6467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: June 24, 2018, 03:28:02 PM
About 5 years ago the price went down from $1000 to $250, see where it is today. So what? As you can see it's not because the Bitcoin price goes down to 70% that it means the party is over. Bitcoin started to be mainstream only 2 or 3 years back maybe and the project is 10 years old. So give it time and have patience
6468  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you really care if your data is exploited?? on: June 23, 2018, 09:37:09 PM
Anyone would answer yes. It is our own personality and our own right. Hackers who just use it to purchase anything that is legal is already an offense to us. It's very disrespectful because they don't have the permission in the first place and we could be paranoid when we found out on what other horrible things they make use of others' data..
Yeah of course no one wants their data exposed. that's why when I find sites that need verification data like ID cards. I never went
on. I'm definitely looking for another site that does not ask for verification. because in online hackers could have stolen it right?

Privacy is not only about not giving your ID. It's also about your IP, the browser you're using, what sites you visited, what ads you clicked, the porn sites you're a fan. your email, your politic orientation and so on...
If giving your ID to an exchange is your only step because you care your privacy then better to do nothing.
6469  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Discussion is not Bitcoin Price Prediction Discussion on: June 23, 2018, 09:07:51 PM
People open multiple topics and spun the title or change a little thing. Still, the answers are the same and maybe only 10% are useful. Often they don't have any idea what they are talking about. Giving accounting and investment advice while they never had to pay the taxes once in their life.
The Bitcoin discussion section is even harder to find a decent discussion, and when there is one, you know you will have to read a lot of crap just to find some "normal posts"
The tech and dev section is maybe the only place when you can read in peace

Read Rob's article on Irish Tech News
How Blockchain Provides Privacy Under Oppressive Governments

Nice one. I agree the blockchain technology can help the countries with oppressive regimes and censorship. People forget there are countries where privacy doesn't exist

6473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXCHANGE HACKS.WILL IT EVER END? on: June 23, 2018, 07:44:50 PM
Exchanges platforms are hacked for years. A permanent solution? Yes I have 2
Tell to people to stop to panic when an incident strikes (after all we repeat again and again to not kee^p your coins in a website) and tell to the exchanges to take care of the basics security firstly. Exchanges are not always at the top when it's about security. They learn it with the hard way.
6474  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trying to remember a website name on: June 22, 2018, 05:41:36 PM
You are talking about this website - https://bitcoinside.com, am I right? There is their ANN thread too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1381095.0
But as I see from website, they are closed, sorry. Also seems someone had article on them. I don't know if they were legit but currently it's the only website I knew ever.

No, I was talking about Coinify (see the conversation above)
6475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Today fee of bitcoin transactions is increased on: June 22, 2018, 05:23:53 PM
what happended today, I sent 1 BTC into another wallet, and it took 2.5 USD. so high

$2.5 fee is too much for sending ~$7000$ ? Shocked It's less than 0.04%
Go to Paypal to receive $7000 and you will feel the pain when you will see how much you're charged to receive the same amount. And don't forget to consider that the sender would also pay a fee to seed to you

Not only paypal but if you have gone some months back then that time bitcoin transaction was so high that you have to pay more then 2 to 5% of the transaction value to get your transaction get confirmed fast. It is nice to see that now bitcoin transaction fees has down back.

Yeah, I didn't forget this time don't worry  Grin It's funny to see people not happy to pay $2.5 to send 1 BTC, just 2 bucks... I would like to see what he could say if we go back to the period with high fees.
You can send bitcoins for cheap currently, it encourages people to make low payments instead t hold their coins
6476  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will we ever have a bitcoin debit card that works worldwide again? on: June 22, 2018, 04:47:21 PM
I don't think those old golden days gonna come soon, banks and government have joined their forces to regulate bitcoin making it almost like fiat. You can't just exchange bitcoin or buy/sell it for fiat without getting noticed by government or tax officers. So point of privacy while dealing with bitcoin at some point might just become a psedotruth.

What you guys think about this?

I disagree.
People forgot (or are not interested) to use the DEX. Additionally, if you're looking to use a Visa card for your privacy you're wrong.
Banks don't regulate cryptos and governments don't scan millions of bank accounts to see if there is any transaction related to crypto.
Taxes report is based on trust, not on a bank history
6477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wtf Guys!?! on: June 22, 2018, 04:26:40 PM
The cryptos market can be surprising. Everything can happen in 24 hours. I am not going to panic in my basement because there is a 10% down in the market. When you survived to 40% down you can survive to anything lol.
With the summer holidays, I wonder what we will get

6479  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC documents detail scores of fraud allegations against Coinbase on: June 21, 2018, 08:13:54 PM
I bet most of those complaints were for last december and January where people were sending their money to their own wallets and it wasn't arriving.

Nothing to do with Coinbase and everything to do with how congested the blockchain was. I think some mempool backlogs didn't clear for three weeks.

But noobs wouldn't understand the technical reasons for the money being "lost". A big reason why the price tanked since Jan is the poor performance of the blockchain and mempool. People hadn't adopted segwit, people hadn't batched transactions. And blockstream blocked increasing the block sizes. It was the perfect storm and helped ruin bitcoin's reputation.

Most of the complains are about people receiving canned replies from the support. Or people get their credit card charged but don't receive the coins, or people waiting for the transfer to their bank account but get nothing for days. Add people who suddenly are asked to verify their ID with a selfie and with a system verification that doesn't work. And all contacting the support but get nothing else than a bogus reply after like 2 or 3 weeks or an automated message giving a reply out of topic Roll Eyes
6480  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is Bitpay's agenda with BTC? on: June 21, 2018, 08:00:41 PM
I am sure that there is quite some share holder fighting in the background due to how BitPay is messing up big time. If you have 2 ideologically different camps to deal with, things will go wrong.

While reading your comment I was thinking:
Yes it's true, it's like BTC vs BCH. So if @gentleman wants to know the bitpay agenda, well they follow Bitcoin  history Cheesy
