1201  Economy / Speculation / Re: 500$ This Dec ! on: January 08, 2016, 09:21:22 PM
Unfortunately for us bitcoin holders it did not reach 500$ in december. But I am really hoping that it reach that level before march. Meanwhile, lets buy/sell intraday and hold some for the big raise lol.
1202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Assistance in trading and similar fielda on: January 08, 2016, 07:44:13 PM
Hi ya'll...

It's been a long time since I was told about the Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies (guess it'sbeen a year and a half). I've tried faucets, gaming sites and even tried signature campaign as methods to warn Bitcoins. So far, haven't even made half of a single bitcoin. That's where I need your help guys. I know the prices tend to change on a daily basis. I wanted to know if there are sites where I can convert Bitcoins into altcoins and vice versa regularly and swiftly so as to earn profits on these fluctuations. Also what does trading would specifically consist of. Where can I look more into it and find info relevant to it.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, fellow bitcoiners. Smiley Smiley Smiley

There are lots of sites in which you can sell BTC for altcoins and back: Cryptopia, polloniex, bittrex, bleutrade... you can even throw POS coins in the mix.

For example, I buy a coin named NETcoin (in cryptopia) which stakes at a % everyday. It stakes new coins everyday just for having them in the local wallet. Then, when the coin has a good price, I sell some and buy again when its lower and so on.

Find your own strategy, but there are lots of possible combinations.
1203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any trading site in which you can do this? on: January 08, 2016, 07:33:41 PM
Kraken.com has this feature. It is called Conditional Close Orders: https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/203053246-Other-Order-Options

Just now checked your link and it is telling the same thing, They are giving Conditional Close but only when you have Fiat Currency or Bitcoins in your Account. Then only you can create a Buying and Selling Order. If everything is Zero you cannot place the order.
of course you can't place an order, if everything is zero. But the OP asked for a way to place a buy order with a conditional sell order, without having bitocins in his account. So of course he has the fiat in his account to place the buy order Wink

Exactly. I was intending to mean that I do have the fiat to do that. An exchange that allowed to put such an order without the fiat would be risking their money to make their users gain...

1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Capitalize on the 2016 VR Hype? on: January 08, 2016, 06:48:16 PM
I have seem Bitcoin related to VR a lot on sites like zapchain, and I think they can get along well. Tech guys tend to be interested in both things, so offers and deals relating both should work, and I agree, that should be capitalized.

1205  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I know who has your coins at Crytpsy... on: January 08, 2016, 06:37:09 PM
I keep hearing about cryptsy's end, cryptsy fall, cryptsy mt gox and all. I know that there must be a lot of truth on scam accusations as there are lots of people telling about it. But then, everytime that I enter cryptsy it is up and working. I do not trade much in it (perhaps I would have traded about 100k satoshis worth of altcoins in my whole life there), but it keeps working good for me...

Is this only affecting to people with lots of money?
1206  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Gehirnkicker accepts Bitcoins too now on: January 08, 2016, 06:25:41 PM
So relaxation music? It is good for Bitcoin to have more opportunities to be spent and is always nice to know of another store accepting it. Thing is that people (we) need to spend our bitcoins in goods also, so that others merchant will follow in accepting it as a means of payment.
1207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where to get cheapest bitcoin? on: January 07, 2016, 08:19:48 PM
There are many exchanges: coinbase, xapo, bittfinex... and prices vary. One day the cheapest one may be the first, others the second, and other can be another exchange not in the list. You have to check that up.

There was a exchange (btc-e?) that offered a list of prices in other exchanges.
1208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying smaller amounts face-to-face. on: January 07, 2016, 06:56:23 PM
It should not be very hard to make a face to face buy. Both people get their cell phones with wallet installed, meet at a certain place, Bitcoins are sent, once you receive, you pay the cash (or vice-versa) and that's all.

I find it more appealing than escrow, which I do not fully understand.
1209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Any trading site in which you can do this? on: January 07, 2016, 06:49:41 PM
Let's say I put an order to buy 0.5 BTC at 440$. Then I want to put an order to sell 0.2 at 445$ ONLY if the first order fills, and without even having the BTC beforehand (I will only have then if the first order fills, that is).

Is there any exchange allowing to do this, even if it is for a fee?
1210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im getting that feeling again on: January 07, 2016, 04:51:15 PM
My sentiment: not sure if it will go a lot higher but...

I feel pretty sure that it will not go down to 400$, save some catasthrophe (or news clearly affecting Bitcoin) happen.

I feel moderately sure that it will not go to 500$ in some few days, and if it does, it would not go much higher.

I feel quite sure too that it will go down to perhaps 420-410 and it will be time to buy again.

1211  Economy / Speculation / Re: um.. why is the price going up? on: January 07, 2016, 04:43:39 PM
No idea of why it goes up, but it is good for it to go up.

If I am right, it probably will fall down again soon, but ending the fall higher than the fall before, consollidating an up/down cycle that everytime makes the price stabilize a little higher.

Hope to rebuy soon.
1212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins - Selling Bitcoins - The Safe Way on: January 07, 2016, 04:37:38 PM
I have used localbitcoins once with paypal, and it ended well for me. I had no problems or chargebacks whatsoever. But that was just once.

As for coinbase, I agree. I have used them some more and it is very very easy to buy and sell. You feel safe, and the fees are somewhat deserved as the service is good and has to cost something.

I recommend them too.
1213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The easiest way to earn free bitcoins on: January 07, 2016, 04:19:46 PM
Well I know (from experiences of people here) that there is not much to be earned through faucets, but still I would like to know about the services / claims OP is offering. Any links to faucet creation service or to faucet rotator? I would like to see them and make my numbers if possible.
1214  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have a good idea. Read and say me if possible on: January 07, 2016, 04:15:17 PM
It would be a great idea. However, I think most services require an special link to unsuscribe, a link that is only sent into the e-mail address of the suscriptor, so a service like that would somewhat require the password to the e-mail address in order to allow the unsuscription to take place...

Someone correct me if I am wrong.
1215  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: A whole new chrome extension providing data of bitcoin on: January 07, 2016, 04:04:46 PM
Just downloaded the app and tried it. Very simple and useful and great for having the BTC price at hand (you just have to turn your eyes a little to the top-right corner and here it is, directly on your browser bar).

Love apps and extension like this, so helpful and so simple. Great work.
1216  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Blue Satoshi Fauce - Angry Coins Games on: January 07, 2016, 03:55:41 PM
I have tried it. For people who really want to play it is a great alternative to traditional faucets. But for people who want just to earn satoshis it is too hard, time consuming, and perhaps even irritating.

Nevertheless it is worth a try.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Litecoin correlation on: January 06, 2016, 11:29:09 PM
Nice graph to compare them at eyesight. Yes, they pretty much follow the same pattern, which is good (I think) for Litecoin, it seems to mean a lot of people trusting Bitcoin trust litecoin also.

Litecoin is silver and best bet if everything fails with BTC Cheesy
1218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spread the Bitcoin on: January 06, 2016, 11:22:26 PM
My sad experience is that when you spread the word about Bitcoin (or other coins), people get a sense that you are responsible for explaining them how to make it work and make money of it. At least for me, that means lots of questions and enquiries as if I was the owner of the thing: "Hey this thing you told me about does not work!", "I have done that and that and no money yet!!" etc.

So I am a little afraid of doing such a thing.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Site Calculator on: January 06, 2016, 11:06:01 PM
Definitely a good site, and worth keeping the eye on it.

I did not know such a high percentage of BTC was already mined and 3600 mined everyday. It is great to know that price holds even at that high creation date. Everyday that passes and BTC does not fall in price, a lot of new value is being created out of power consumption. Wow!
1220  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: January 06, 2016, 10:46:48 PM
I was one of the people who said would cash out.

But obviously, I would not cash out if I could spend my Bitcoins in whatever place I wanted. It obviously would not make sense.

But at the current state of things, in which I have to pay my mortgage and all goods in Bitcoins, I would do it asap.
