I'll be more optimistic than for the $300 in October. I think this can definitely happens if it gains momentum going strong by the end of the year. If it finds support at $300 quickly then $350 during November is perfectly possible.

Amazing, I wouldn't bet at all this would happen but here we are, I think it will drop a little before finding support of course but breaking this barrier will be important in the near future anticipating the halving.

It's a team not a single person.
I like this theory, it all seems fishy to me, how it all came together and started to expand. Maybe there are motives we don't know about.

No one can vanished in this day and age, I think these threads keep coming out because it's a mystery and people want to find out. The other story that comes to mind but at least we know some more details is Banksy identity.

its not halving effect, price rise after some good news for bitcoin globally,we will see halving effect in first quarter of 2016
Agree. I'm still not sure what halving will bring, I try to be as optimistic as everyone else but I'm not sure if it will a day in the park...

I'll definitely buy if it drops below $200 or $230 which was the value I bought my humble stash at. However like most I don't really think it will happen soon nor do I want to.

I think this is the only rule that makes gambling wrong for me, it's where you cross that invisible and dangerous line.

There are many threads like this one and it's always the same. You better be smart, have some skill or both (trading, research, etc). There are very very few investments that are worth it and low risk. But this is not a problem unique to Bitcoin, it happens in fiat, remember the good old days where you parked your money at the bank for a 5-8% fixed rate? Well right now if someone is giving you a 3 or 4% it's already a high risk investment.

I've recently watched Trainwreck, the movie was so-so, Lebron was awesome!

Hopefully nobody falls for this, I've seen too many threads already filled with people losing their money.

I don't know if this is a pump for sure, the price has been rising slow but steadily lately and there has been some good news in the the last couple of weeks and no major "scandals" (EU declaring it a currency, etc).

I have followed the contest to win 250k DGB.good luck kevinjulio
Yes. Good luck. Everyone has until the end of the month to enter. We'll do the drawing on November 1, and notify the winner within a couple of days. Just as a reminder to everyone. This month's challenge contest is related to the DigiSpeed release. Reading through the posts over the past few weeks, it's obvious the DGB community is excited for the release of DigiSpeed. We're also excited. That's why we decided to use DigiSpeed as the theme for the October challenge. We also fully support the decision to push back the release of DigiSpeed to ensure all the technical details are right and that we have a good, strong, and smooth transition. For the October contest we are accepting everyone's entry who submits the block number that was set for the original date. If you haven't already entered the contest, you can do so here: https://digibytegroup.com/project/challenge-contest-october-2015/Thanks to everyone for their great support of our DigiByte community. If you have any questions, just let us know. Eric I've entered this month contest but I'm the winner of the last one, so my chances are slim to none hehe! Good luck everyone

It's not wrong, just like alcohol or certain drugs (legal ones too!) are not wrong either. I'm not advocating intoxication but that's what it is. The danger exists for many people to become addicted like others have said. But anything can become an object of addiction if you think about it, hoarders for example it's a form of addiction. The problem lies within the person similar to how guns don't kill people, people do it (I'm also not advocating guns hehe, there should be more restrictions but owning a gun is not wrong per se).

Just buy, buy, buy, and hodl. Buy a little bit every week, $20 worth or something you can afford with no worries. It will add up and be worth a lot later!
I agree even if I own some altcoins. The best strategy is to grow your own stash as much as you can or feel comfortable with. I know many people like to invest as much as possible but we are not blind fanatics on Bitcoin. It can worth nothing in some years. But it's my feeling that the opposite can be true also so it never hurts. Ten bucks is not much today, but in the future it can be a lot. I personally would like to own around 1-5 BTC at today's price, more than that I don't think I will be relaxed and it will be a very serious/high risk investment for me.

You need to filter out the spammers and members who produce low quality posts because they give your business a bad name. It's a lose lose situation if you think about it.

Yes they will most likely appreciate, I've owned some very different ones (Monero from those) and a bump in Bitcoin price always made the top 20 or so rise in value too. Either way I don't see them having much future honestly, they are ok to speculate with I guess (in the short term).

Another large bot attack today. I probably have some of the best security features available (certainly more than the average Faucet admin), but I'm still being attacked.
Email verification makes little difference, disposable .yandex.ru emails are all the rage at the moment it seems. Banned around 100+ addresses, but not before losing ~30,000 satoshi per address. Not being able to retrieve funds when they are lost like this is a shame. I can see my satoshi sitting in someone's account and it's annoying.
Honeypots help, but aren't perfect.
Yes I think Bitcoin being a non refundable method is not really that amazing feature some think it is. It fueled so many scams or dishonest maneuvers like this and there's nothing you can do. Sorry to hear that.

The highest I saw it was at $298 at Poloniex, not sure if someone can verify a higher price.

It was close but I don't think it reached the mark, a missed opportunity. Of course it would come down a little after that but it would've been nice if it made it. Now I'm really not sure how this last week will pan out...

I agree with the previous posts, u need to try to reach Hero or Legendary status before you consider making a bit BTC from campaigns. Before that, it s simply not interesting.
I don't agree with this, I'm a new member and I recently joined a campaign when I became Jr. because I'm very active in the forum either way. Maybe in the past was more profitable but for a Jr. Member like me is a great way to slowly grow my bitcoin stash. Of course it's obvious that a Hero or Legendary member like you will earn much more but one step at a time
