2561  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: December 12, 2015, 07:53:05 PM
I've bought my humble share at $230 so I really don't like to buy more unless it drops below $300. I prefer to earn it organically and reach my first Bitcoin soon. After that I think I'll aim for a nice number like 2.1 BTC (not 21 BTC, that's just too much for me hehe).

However I don't think I'll eve sell it unless it really goes to the moon (more than 10k, more than 100k? one can only dream!). Cashing out at $1000 like many of you plan to do won't achieve much in my opinion unless you have a huge amount.
2562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 12, 2015, 01:58:59 PM
I bet on Cleveland last night because with Shumpert we discussed the team will have more energy but I didn't expect such blowout. Today I think it's a given, we should back GSW again the Bucks. I don't see them losing until next year, maybe with Cleveland @ The Oracle but that's still a long shot in my opinion.

Have you tried setting your device date to automatic? Some apps usually check that before executing any commands.

I did but still got the same message. I'll try it again though since I only did it once, maybe closing the app before changing to automatic. Thanks for the tip!

I'm still trying to bind my phone to withdraw my 0.01 bonus, does anybody had this problem? It says my time is not valid so phone number cannot bind or something like that.

try a different number .. it is not necessary that the phone should be same on which the app is installed.. i wasnt getting message on my number so i binded my friend's number ok it.. and it works

Thanks, I've tried many numbers from my country and some temporary ones to see if it was a local problem with no solution. It says time is not valid and sms could not delivered...oh well.
2565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 11, 2015, 04:33:39 PM
Well they also had some awful games lately, mostly on the road against New Orleans, Detroit, Toronto, etc. But I feel they will handle Orlando just fine. What about the Warriors against the Celtics tonight? The odds are not that bad to bet on the Warriors, if we would've been betting on the Warriors since day one we would be millionaires so why stop now? hehe

What do you think guys about Orlando Magic v Cleveland Cavaliers?
I heard that Shampart and Erwing will play today for Cleveland after a long time of injury.
I believe in Cleveland today.
Any thoughts?

Shumpert and Irving? I think Irving is playing at least but he will be rusty after such a long layoff. He will be exhausted after minimal playing time. I would play the Magic spread. They have been a hot team lately.

If he's play fit he'll play at least 20-25 mins with no problems, maybe he's rusty but I'm sure he won't be tired and eager to play. If any of them plays then it will be a big pump for the team. I don't think they will have any problems handling Orlando.
2569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi himself the single individual with the most power to harm Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2015, 11:05:36 PM
I don't think himself can do any harm, but the news regarding his identity and how all will come to light can definitely affect Bitcoin, both for good and bad. I'm inclined to think that there may be some dark stories if the identity is revealed and so the price will take a hit I guess but with Bitcoin you never know.
2570  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen when 21 million bitcoins come into existence? on: December 10, 2015, 10:47:29 PM
Zombies in space. Well 21M will never happen because there are plenty lost. If there's no more BTC to mine then we could all agree that Bitcoin had come a long way if it's still alive by that time.

OK let痴 do some Maths. If just over 43 million coins are mined in a week and dumped straight to market the price of DGB would not be this low, the markets have traded that many coins just today! So there is obviously someone selling on top of whatever the miners are doing and I知 sure they have their reasons for doing it but as time goes on the miners take will diminish even further.

You are right miners stake will decrease as time goes by...a whooping 1% per month decrease, LOL going to be like 10 years before the profits from dumping will stop....Jez soon there will be no point mining DGB as it will be worth 1 sat at best
you would think that by halving the block times & the rewards would be the same but you would be wrong, its no better for the miners to make more profit thats why there dumping...the likelihood of a miner hitting more blocks per day has doubled, less power, faster transactions to the exchanges to dump...you have handed the dumpsters a goldmine...like i said Digispeed was only a toy to show off with now its gone tits up the investors are paying the price
You completely missed my point, the miners are not responsible for dumping more coins than they are mining because that would be impossible. Trying to blame what is happening in the markets on the miners is just silly!

There you go this is just my Polo account I have plenty more on Bittrex & sadly lots stuck on Cryptsy

Wow man, I feel for you, I only have half a million, it's nothing but I still feel I have the right to voice out my opinions. However there's always people hushing us. Hype and false promises is what hurts this community.

If this is true then it's much more serious than some hidden manipulators like people in this forum were talking about.
2573  Economy / Digital goods / Re: How To Earn 0.12BTC Or More Per Month on: December 10, 2015, 08:49:38 PM
What's the method? to enroll in a signature campaign? I respect that you are not one of those people that sell bogus stuff and claim to earn 1BTC per day or something like that but that amount is easily achievable just with signature campaign if not more.
2574  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ban Donald Trump on: December 10, 2015, 08:47:46 PM
Donald Trump is basically an asshole.. But I merit some respect for the lad. Atleast he's not afraid to speak his mind.

People are way to fast to get butthurt these days imho. It's honestly sport to piss off people that are easily offended in my eyes.
Granted I'm likely an asshole to.. So I sympathize more with the dude. Perhaps he will actuallly get elected and turn America into something decent.
Obama certainly ran shit into the ground.. How much worse could Trump really fuck things up? VOTE TRUMP!

He's not afraid because he has nothing to lose and has plenty of money. He won't be fired or do jail time, so he's not really a "brave" man in my eyes. But in the state the world is I agree with you, a president it's just a facade. With so many people in the world right now, there's nothing really special about being human anymore, anything goes and a saint has basically the same value as the latest youtube star. We are becoming more and more disposable.
2575  Economy / Gambling / Re: Causes of gambling for some poeple? on: December 10, 2015, 08:16:32 PM
It's a complicated topic just like some people are drawn to running ultra marathons really, something compels them and they feel that rush from doing certain activities. One can argue that it's all addictive behavior but the problem is that certain vices are very dangerous. For me gambling was always about having fun, but many people really think they can beat the casino and create an strategy or win back their losses. That never ever happens, so it's better to go have some fun, like you are watching a movie. You may even win money at the end!
2576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔$250k Investment, DigiByte Gaming, #DigiByteTip, DigiSpeed on: December 10, 2015, 08:00:09 PM
So when are you two going to dump? Complaining in a forum can only negatively impact peoples perception of DGB. So all be it not very much, you are part of the problem regarding the recent DGB price decline. The price is easily manipulated at this point in time and as stated previously, a big (biggest imo) reason for the decline is due to people selling their DGB so they can cash out of BTC to fiat. BTC will level out and go sideways and alts will recover. This will continue to happen so get used or dump me your DGB.

Well I see your point, it's just impotence I guess. But it's also a way to raise some flags and have a different voice here, if it weren't for Pringles and me do you think this would be an honest forum? It would be all hype and promises of DGB valued at $1-10 as it says in the first page. Please. What I can say is that DGB may be the most serious and honest project of all the altcoin community, but for me it's now clear that one should stay away from it altogether, it's just one giant pipe dream where only speculators and whales can make money.
2577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔$250k Investment, DigiByte Gaming, #DigiByteTip, DigiSpeed on: December 10, 2015, 07:29:35 PM
The only good thing Digispeed has done for the coin is made if far faster for the miners to get them coins to the exchanges to dump them.....Nuff said Cry

The reason i am impatient is because by sitting on DGB for so long i am actually losing money, even though you all think by holding them coins for 1-3 years you will make money you are wrong, if you actually worked out the amount of BTC lost due to the rise & fall of BTC when you could have used the BTC sat in DGB to trade then you will see that sitting on a coin for to long is not a very smart investment, DGB would have to increase by 1000X to get what you have lost, cant see that happening but heck we can all live in the dream world

It's just useless, it's like discussing with fanboys. I thought DGB was a good investment for the long run. To me that means it would keep raising in value and gaining more exposure not this BS. We are close to 20s (most of my share was bought at 70-80s sadly) and I guess we should be celebrating something? It was around 120 some weeks ago, DO THE MATH.

All I care is money, it's an investment, I appreciate the effort and work they put into the project but I don't have any emotional attachments. I want the project to do go because it will bring me money. Same with Bitcoin. I do appreciate the technology behind but that's it. It won't cure cancer and watching some recent updates I say it's closer to causing it.
2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 10, 2015, 05:48:36 PM
Agree.

Yeah Raptors can be deadly too but for the opponent like GSW, Raptors must played at their homecourt. I see San Antonio Spurs can handle them too. And one last team I think they can beat them is Cleveland Cavaliers but of course like I stated, must played in their own homecourt.

Exactly, for me they are unbeatable at the Oracle (although the Nets of all teams came very close!). I'm a Cavs fan and have been following their games all season and they are a mess right now. If Irving comes back for the Christmas game there may be a chance but I think it will happen on the road. The problem is that looking at their upcoming schedule you just wonder if they could actually go 40/50-0, perhaps even more!
2579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as your only payment option on: December 10, 2015, 02:58:28 PM
I've been freelancing (I'm a designer) for more than 10 years and I've never encountered this. I would gladly accept depending on the amount but even I know the limitations of Bitcoin at the present moment so I would proceed with caution. For example, exchanging it (I'm not in the US) is still a complete hassle.
