I had thought a similar thing. Only I was thinking more along the lines of letter sized bonds but with the 'cool Hollywood look' for cold storage or private transfer of significant funds (personal gifts, etc)
Yes, you mean like this? I could put this in my safe with important documents, and people would realize it has value. Yes exactly that! But I was thinking more graduation/wedding gift type scenarios. Although I would personally use them for storage as well because I am strange like that.

(alough that does not help the Hushmail scenario you mentioned). What's the point of mixing if it isn't secure against that scenario? If you don't like including protection from governments in your threat model then just replace court orders with sufficiently-motivated elements of organized crime, or malicious operators. I guess that all depends on who you are hiding from.

It is all in the eye of the beholder (or customer in this case).
For people who have enjoy gambling and do not want to invest in their own mining hardware then GPUMAX is perfect. Maybe you win, maybe you dont.
Looking at it using the same logic some people would ask why other sit in front of slot machines when they *know* that the house has an edge (i.e. they are paying for more for the coins they might win). There are about 9,001 answers to that, but it is very similar.
chasing those 5 blocks in 10 minute moments "This pool is ready to payout" lol Now if pirate starts offering free drinks we know it is a casino! Only to high rollers, sorry High roller? I am still outside with my nose pressed aginst the glass...

Here is the design printed on a black-only laser printer

These would classify as public notes. What about PRIVATE notes with the private key being encrypted with an aes passphrase? Would be handy for cold storage I had thought a similar thing. (Jan tries to dodge the flames thrown by eWallet developers)
...flames... Actually wouldn't MyWallet qualify? Except maybe the user decided when to upgrade? Yes. It is the most secure web based wallet we have. Ben did a really good job. There are two things that stick out: 1. The end user does not decide when to upgrade the javascript that handles private keys. 2. The server has all the encrypted private keys. I don't see a good way around this without an external piece of software running on a user controlled device. Personally I think that the keys being on the server is more secure than a standard satoshidice install. To get my wallet you would have to steal my phone and my password. As opposed to just sitting at my desk for a couple of mins. Oh... MEGA LOL You better stop gambling your bitcoins, son, you're becoming obsessed DOH! Damn You Auto Correct! Funny, I hadn't thought I typed satoshidice that much.

With QR and human readable codes

I like this, but think it would look better with the corner logos squared off instead of tilted. Maybe even two diagonally opposing corners for the denomination.

True, all exit nodes are public.
Running an exit node on a hidden server is dumb dumb.
The dumb dumb part was saying they were running an exit node and even go as far as giving an aproximate timeframe for when it went live and when it went offline. Only the act of running an exit node could've even helped them with plausible deniability, if they managed to do it right. Not mention the fact that if something nefarious were to exit through it and the partyvan were to show up and find the server by accident :/ I really like the idea of this, but given recent disclosures like this makes wonder if it being ran by the intersango group

this is the only lead thus far on it. Not verified yet.
^^^ This. Also appreantly, assuming this is correcct, the hacker donated 100 to Zohu's fund. I'm poking through it now trying to find a 100 tx though I'm not very good at it.. It is all conjecture at this point... it could be coniciendce as well.

Am I missing something? HTTPS://
Dunno. I thought it's bit more complicated than that. In any case, I actually did try to connect to blockchain.info plain text but it appears that I can't get anything useful out of it. Setting up an actual HTTPS server requires more work, but from a client you should just be able to specify HTTPS and have it work (unless you are doing all the TCP/IP yourself, but you arenot)

You should run this on the latest Bitconica hack.
What's the TX id ? I was trying to figure out why this graph had screwed up today: http://blockchain.info/charts/my-wallet-transaction-volumeBut it turns out the huge volume is from this transaction http://blockchain.info/tx-index/11999735 which looks suspicously like it could be from the latest Bitcoinica hack. I don't know if the Bitcoinica hacker was using a My Wallet account or just choose to relay the transaction through our server but it is interesting none the less. Btw as far as i'm aware none of these funds were sent through the mixer. this is the only lead thus far on it. Not verified yet. ^^^ This. Also appreantly, assuming this is correcct, the hacker donated 100 to Zohu's fund.

So where is the wallet address of this BTC withdrawal ?
At the very least people can see where it goes and if it moves to an exchange to be sold eventually.
piuk posted the suspected TX in the blockchain.info thread.... It looks like they ran it through his servers. Im not asking for suspected TX, I am asking for the withdrawal address that would be listed in MTGOX. No reason for anyone to speculate over where the funds went. Can't you back trace it? The 40,000 did just materialize in that TX.
